Fein schmecker pizza und pizza in inneren stadt Lübeck. Der kellner war freundlich und begrussungs berettiget. Die menu karte is vernuftig ausgestattet .

Dieser Ort ist magisch. Wer einen kleinen Ausflug nach Italien machen möchte, ist hier an der richtigen Adresse. Vorallem die Lachsgerichte und die Pasta Bella Italia kann ich wärmstens empfehlen. Die Kellner sind nett und gutaussehend. Das Essen war rasentschnell an unserem Tisch, warm und lecker. Ein Erlebnis das für sich spricht. Alles was ich hier sage beruht auf wahren Begebenheiten. Es klingt kitschig, ist es auch. Dieser Ort hat mich verändert. Danke.

Ein wunderbares und authentisches italienisches Esserlebnis! Das Ristorante Italia da Giuseppe besticht durch die herzliche und einladende Atmosphäre eines echten, familiengeführten italienischen Restaurants. Die Mitarbeiter waren unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam und sorgten dafür, dass wir uns den ganzen Abend über bestens betreut fühlten. Das Essen war absolut köstlich und wurde offensichtlich mit viel Liebe und hochwertigen Zutaten zubereitet. Man merkt, dass hier der Fokus auf authentischen italienischen Aromen und perfekt zubereiteten Gerichten liegt, nicht auf unnötigem Schnickschnack. Das Essen war so gut, dass ich leider vergessen habe, Fotos zu machen – schade, denn es wäre eine schöne Erinnerung gewesen. Vielleicht schaffe ich es ja beim nächsten Mal. 👌 Ein charmantes Restaurant mit exzellentem Essen, tollem Service und einer wunderbaren familiären Atmosphäre. War sehr lecker, ambiente angenehm kann man nur empfehlen

Ich habe mich durch die positiven Fotos und Rezensionen leiten lassen. Leider habe ich lange nicht mehr so schlecht italienisch gegessen. Der Kellner komplett überarbeitet (hat aber einen guten Job gemacht, wenn er sich die Sachen aufschreibt). Die schmeißen den Laden im Service zu 2 auf einem Samstag Abend. Eine Bedienung macht Getränke der andere dem Service mit Tischen zuweisen und Essen Trinken aufnehmen raus bringen und abkassieren. Unser Tisch draußen hat extreme gewackelt. Er wollte Bierdeckel bringen, vergessen, weil nicht aufgeschrieben. Wie wollten nochmal während des essen Getränke nachbestellen, aber Kellner hatte keine Zeit um zu fragen, ob das Essen schmeckt oder um nochmal Getränke aufzunehmen. Fehlanzeige! Ich hatte eine Spaghetti Bolognese Sahnesauce mit Weinbrand flankiert. Das flambierte kam schon aus der Küche in einer sehr kleinen Muschel mit weniger als 0,1cl. Klar das die Flamme am Tisch aus ist, und der Geschmack bei so wenig nicht übertragen wird. Außerdem war so wenig Soße drin, dass es sehr trocken geschmeckt hat. Also mein Geschmack war es nicht. Wir hatten sonst noch Pizza gegessen, die soll in Ordnung gewesen sein, aber nichts besonderes. Auf jedem Fall, ist dieses Restaurant nichts für uns gewesen und wir haben uns sehr geärgert. Wir als Touristen werden dort nicht nochmal essen gehen. Leider ein Flop für uns gewesen.

Zuvorkommendes und freundliches Personal, schneller Service und sehr gutes Essen

Eines der schmutzigsten Restaurants, in denen ich je war. Die Tischdecken waren voller Flecken, und auf dem Tisch lagen noch Krümel. Ein Wein, den man bei eBay für etwa 5 € kaufen kann, wird hier für 43 € verkauft. Nur wenige Schritte die Straße hinauf befindet sich das Restaurant Florentini – so sollte es in jedem Restaurant sein. Wer daran zweifelt, kann es selbst überprüfen.

Schon beim Eintreten spürt man sofort dieses besondere alte Lübecker Flair – das historische Gebäude mit seinen gemütlichen Räumen und den liebevoll gestalteten kleinen Ecken schafft eine unglaublich warme und authentische Atmosphäre. Gerade das macht den Abend dort so besonders. Man merkt sofort, dass hier ein echtes Familienunternehmen mit Herz geführt wird. Alles wirkt persönlich, herzlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Das Essen war hervorragend und wunderschön angerichtet – man schmeckt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gekocht wird. Besonders schön fanden wir auch, dass die Gastgeber selbst mit dem Restaurant verbunden leben und man dadurch dieses ehrliche, familiäre Gefühl bekommt, das man heute nur noch selten findet. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen, Genießen und für besondere Abende. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! 😊

Glaubt mir, es ist gut – Lübeck Edition Wer hätte gedacht, dass eine der besten Bolognese-Suppen, die ich je gegessen habe, in einem der historischen Gebäude Lübecks, nur wenige Schritte vom Fluss entfernt, versteckt sein würde? Heute Abend entdeckten wir ein gemütliches kleines italienisches Restaurant, nur wenige Häuser vom Flussufer entfernt, und vom ersten Moment an, als wir eintraten, fühlte es sich an wie eines dieser Lokale, von denen man hofft, dass sie genauso gut sind, wie sie aussehen. Der Charme des alten Gebäudes verlieh dem Restaurant sofort Charakter, und da wir früh da waren, bekamen wir schnell einen Platz, bevor der große Ansturm losging. Unsere Kellnerin war unglaublich hilfsbereit, und ihr Englisch reichte vollkommen aus, um die Bestellung problemlos zu veranlassen. Wer mich kennt, weiß, dass ich italienische Restaurants zuerst nach einem Kriterium beurteile – Bolognese. Gleich nach Chicken Riggies ist sie eines meiner liebsten Pastagerichte, also war die Entscheidung schon gefallen, als ich sie auf der Speisekarte sah. Als der Teller kam, fiel mir als Erstes die Portionsgröße auf. Sagen wir einfach – wir sind definitiv nicht mehr in Amerika. Die Portion war etwa halb so groß wie zu Hause, aber sobald ich angefangen hatte zu essen, war das schnell egal. Besonders hervorzuheben war die Soße. Das Gemüse war etwas größer geschnitten als üblich, sodass es nicht im Fleisch unterging, sondern dem Gericht kleine süße Akzente und eine tolle Textur verlieh. Die Soße selbst war reichhaltig, leicht süßlich, voller Tomatengeschmack und reichlich mit Fleisch gefüllt. Alles war wunderbar gewürzt mit einer feinen Kräuternote, und die Pasta war perfekt al dente. Trotz der kleineren Portion war ich pappsatt – so satt, dass wir auf ein Dessert verzichten mussten. Ein paar Dinge, die ihr vor eurem Besuch wissen solltet: • Mastercard und Visa werden akzeptiert. • Die Speisekarte ist à la carte. • Parmesan kostet extra. Wir waren für ein paar Tage in Lübeck und haben von Passanten den Tipp bekommen, dass dies der beste Italiener der Stadt sei. Und was sollen wir sagen, absolut verdient. Wir waren mit zwei Kindern dort essen und haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker, frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Personal. So herzlich, familiär und aufmerksam, dass man sich sofort wie ein Teil der Familie fühlt. Gerade mit Kindern ist das nicht selbstverständlich, hier aber einfach rundum perfekt. Auch das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist wirklich super. Der krönende Abschluss kam allerdings danach. Ich habe meine Sonnenbrille mit Sehstärke im Restaurant vergessen und es erst auf dem Weg nach Berlin bemerkt. Als ich dort anrief, wurde mir sofort freundlich gesagt, dass sie die Brille gefunden haben und sie mir zuschicken. Und das Beste, sie wollten nicht einmal Geld für den Versand. Das Paket war tatsächlich schon am nächsten Tag bei mir. Ich bin unglaublich dankbar für so viel Hilfsbereitschaft und Herzlichkeit. Das erlebt man wirklich selten. Allein dafür würden wir jederzeit wieder nach Lübeck fahren, um dort essen zu gehen. Vielen lieben Dank für alles ❤️

Ristorante Italia da Giuseppe – Lübeck Old Town A wonderful place for special moments! Even the arrival was pleasant: bicycle racks right outside the door on the quiet side street – perfect. Inside, a festively set table awaited us for the Christmas party, warmly attended to by the owner herself. The antipasti were a delight, the Saltimbocca alla Romana a masterpiece: tender veal fillet, perfectly cooked, accompanied by delicate side dishes and a sauce that speaks of pure culinary artistry. To finish, a Tiramisu that crowned the evening. Here, you can feel passion and hospitality in every detail. A place I will definitely visit again. Grazie mille to the team!

A rustic, small, but excellent restaurant. Compared to other Italian restaurants I know, the carpaccio was by far the best, truly outstanding. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented. So delicious that we didn't even bother to take pictures of most of it. Very (child-)friendly, yet discreet service. Thank you so much for the wonderful culinary experience – highly recommended if you're in Lübeck.

Ristorante Italia da Giuseppe: A true asset to Lübeck's culinary scene I was absolutely delighted with my visit to Ristorante Italia da Giuseppe. Everything I ordered was fresh, aromatic, and expertly prepared. The carpaccio was tender, fresh, and perfectly balanced with arugula, Parmesan, and a touch of lemon. The bruschetta, with its crispy bread and intense flavors of tomatoes, onions, and basil, was authentically Italian. For my main courses, I had beef fillet in a creamy herb sauce and shrimp in an aromatic tomato sauce with olives. The fillet was cooked to perfection, incredibly tender, and accompanied by a sauce that complemented the dish perfectly. The shrimp were flavorful, succulent, and superbly seasoned. The fresh, colorful, sautéed vegetables were also of very high quality. To finish, I had a tiramisu that was light, creamy, and perfectly balanced—a classic and very successful dessert. The service was attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive. You can tell in every detail that the food and service here are done with passion. In conclusion: Ristorante Italia da Giuseppe is an exceptionally good restaurant and definitely ranks among the most highly recommended Italian restaurants in Lübeck. I will gladly return.

Very disappointing, the food tasted like nothing. The scampi came with the skin on in the sauce... The restaurant was empty and the lighting was poor. The waiters were smiling like they were being tortured the whole time. Guys, you need to change something; this isn't going to work.

We were lucky and got a table at short notice. The food was delicious and the owners were very friendly. It was a lovely evening!

When traveling with friends and three lively little children between the ages of 2 and 9, it's often difficult to feel welcome in restaurants in Germany - not so at da Giuseppe! As mentioned in previous reviews, there's a very familiar, super-friendly atmosphere. There's an excellent play area downstairs where the kids can let off steam when sitting down gets too boring. We really enjoyed the food, and two of us ran personal bests with the pasta the next day :-D The few negative reviews here are perhaps from people looking for something truly special. I don't know enough about that, but I really enjoyed it, so I gave it full marks.

Fantastic! I've lived in Lübeck for 19 years now, have been to various Italian restaurants several times, and only now have I discovered this Italian restaurant. While the ambiance seems a bit rustic (I personally like it and imagine local restaurants in smaller Italian towns more like this), the food is outstanding. After three recent visits, I had a good pizza, an extremely tasty tagliatelle with salmon and Gorgonzola sauce, and a very juicy, tender beef fillet. All three were delicious. The particularly friendly service deserves special mention. I'd be happy to go back, Johannes.

After the starter, it took too long for the main course to arrive. The squid tubes were unfortunately not good.

Outrageous prices for mediocre food. For example, 3 mini slices of bruschetta for €6.50 (UTOPIAN!), for which we had to wait an hour even though the place was almost empty. The ambiance was very worn. Lovingly rustic. ;)

It is a very cozy Italian restaurant with a small outdoor area and a view of the Petri Church. The menu is varied, with starters, fish, meat, pizza and pasta, everything your heart desires. Very good location in a very nice old building. Restaurant at lunchtime on a Wednesday... empty. Well, maybe we missed the momentum. Covered, but crumbs from the previous guest (comment from the children, so noticeable). Shelves dusty. Winter break like at the ice cream parlor? ... was my thought. But the card was also getting old. There is obviously a lack of motivation to make details beautiful. Unfortunately, this was also reflected in the food. 3x pizza OK, but not special. 1x meat dish... unfortunately tough. I tried it myself and didn't want to eat it anymore. That was really a shame. I postponed dessert (requested by the children) to an outside ice cream parlor. We would not recommend the restaurant.

A little tip for the booking system. Even if you can only make a booking request on the website and cannot book directly, the display places are not available and available suggests that there are still places available. Unfortunately, no one got in touch and agreed or canceled, so we went there specifically and were then sent back home. Other restaurants can do that too. There is a need for improvement here.

Cozy courtyard and room. Ordered two pasta dishes: a watery "bolognese" that hadn't been cooked for more than a few minutes, and an equally watery garlic pasta. We had to wait an hour for the food.

We went there yesterday on a recommendation and were disappointed 😞 We had bread with pesto beforehand, which was quite good! Afterwards we had spaghetti carabonara and spaghetti bolognese and that was a disappointment! Both sauces were unseasoned and you had to look for meat or bacon! Parmesan was only available for an additional charge of 2 euros! No, for me that's one of them! The service wasn't attentive at all and didn't clear anything away! We then had to go inside to pay, otherwise we would probably still be sitting there today!

Small, cozy restaurant with a nice ambience. Small inner courtyard with a view of some old town houses and the St.Petri observation tower. as well as in the small kitchen of the restaurant. The interior furnishings (toilet doors, flooring on the stairs, etc.) are in need of renovation and are no longer up to date. The house cat always runs around in the restaurant - so not for allergy sufferers. The service is very friendly. The food is good. Many tourists find their way here. So it's better to reserve in advance. But please don't be alarmed, because the counter area of ​​the store seems a bit untidy. The drink prices are quite high (0.2 l / 0.5 l Lambrusco for 8 / 15 EUR!!) We also noticed negatively that all the food and drink menus in the outside display case (outside) had even lower prices than in the folder that is brought to the table in the store (inside). Example: Pizza salami / tuna (outside: 9.80 / 11.50 EUR; inside: 11.10 / 12.90 EUR). Is that intentional?

The owner is professionally experienced and very personable - it tastes delicious every time! The absolute insider tip is Pizza Cacciatora with a few slices of ham and chilli oil!

We were here on a warm summer evening and got a nice table in the courtyard even without a reservation. The wine, the appetizer platter, as well as the pasta and pizza were simply excellent. That's how it should be everywhere.

Veal Wienerschnitzel was wildly tender and tasted incredibly good. It was served with fries and some salad... a bit dry. But it is different how a Wienerschnitzel is made, with accessories etc.

Familie Ferrante-Bannera weiß, wie man Gäste bewirtet und charmant in den Gourmet-Himmel befördert und der Patron der Familie, ein anerkannter Spitzenkoch, mittlerweile 85 Jahre jung, verwöhnt mittlerweile seine 4 Enkelkinder und hat die Gewissheit, daß es in seinem Restaurant mit Perfektion und guter Küche weitergeht. Und das ist keine Selbstverständlichkeit! Großes Lob an die Tochter des Patrone: Sie möge nie ihr erfrischendes und positives Lachen für sich und ihre Gäste verlieren! Gerne immer wieder.

Wir waren heute da, das erste und letzte Mal. Wir hatten alle Pizza aber leider waren alle unser Pizzen nicht lecker. Der Teig war nicht frisch und wurde per Maschine platt gedrückt. Die Tomatensauce war die schlechteste die je auf einer Pizza gegessen habe. Auf der Pizza nur mit gebratenen Gemüse war z.b. Blumenkohl drauf. Nicht lecker ! Das Personal naja die wolten wohl schnell Feieraben machen.

Wir haben zu viert einen wundervollen Abend im Innenhof des Restaurants verbracht. Die unterschiedlichen Gerichte von der Vorspeise über die Hauptgerichte bis zum Dessert waren fantastisch. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und das Ambiente sehr angenehm. Wir kommen bestimmt bald wieder.

Nach vielen Jahren Abstinenz kommen wir nun regelmäßig wieder in das Ristorante Italia. Zu unserer großen Freude hat die Küche wieder zu früherem Glanz gefunden, alles ist lecker und gemütlich wie damals.
