Very tasty and totally friendly service.

I haven't had such good Italian food in a long time. Both of our pasta dishes were simply fantastic.

The area under the table reeked of dog, and the playroom/cloakroom smelled like a toilet. Truly disgusting. The server had a runny nose. It was impossible to eat with any appetite under those conditions.

We visited Da Sergio as a couple and were left with a rather negative impression. The food was okay, but nothing exceptional. The server assigned to us did what was necessary—nothing more, nothing less. Furthermore, we felt somewhat like uninvited guests. The staff clearly knew most of the other guests and constantly went around making small talk and joking around. We were pointedly ignored or met with brief (perhaps dismissive?) glances. No one even asked if everything was alright. We've been to Da Sergio on Norderney several times before, usually with friends, and we hadn't noticed the staff's behavior before. After this evening, we certainly won't be returning. Such ignorant and arrogant behavior is, in our opinion, unacceptable. I should perhaps mention that we certainly didn't look out of place: well-dressed and well-behaved. 😉 That can't have been the reason.

We were at "da Sergio" today and were pleasantly surprised by the reception, service, and food. 5 out of 5 stars from us.

We were here on the Thursday before a public holiday on the island. The place was actually fully booked until the evening, but we were lucky that a couple didn't show up for their reservation. We had a very nice evening there. The steak, the fries, the spinach, everything was delicious. The wine was ordered on the recommendation of the nice woman with long red hair. The service was excellent, to say the least. We'd be happy to go back!

Our experience at this restaurant was unfortunately disappointing. We arrived around noon, were greeted warmly, and were able to choose a seat. When we asked for a high chair for our daughter, the waitress promised to bring one. Unfortunately, we waited quite a while – it took another waiter to finally bring the chair. After we sat down and studied the menu, no one came to our table. Despite several staff passing by, no one seemed to feel responsible. After about half an hour, we left the restaurant without anyone noticing us or saying goodbye. The restaurant was not very busy at the time, and other guests were being served – so we unfortunately felt quite unwelcome. On a positive note, we would like to highlight the tasteful and cozy decor. It's a shame the service wasn't up to the same standard. We will therefore not be returning.

I had a delicious meal here. An early reservation is essential, as the restaurant is particularly busy in the evenings. Update September 2025: Reviews remain positive. Among other dishes, I had the tuna trio again. The service was also friendly and attentive. Our dog was not a problem at all in the dining room/at the table.

Highly recommended for vegans! All pizzas can be made with vegan cheese, which is great. We had the Margarita with extra mushrooms and the truffle pizza. It was amazing :)

Only two vegetarian dishes. Pizza Margareta and Pizza Vegetaria. If you don't like one of the two and want to swap the toppings on another pizza, you're treated like a troublemaker. It would have been fine if I hadn't been there with over 20 people. For people who wanted to vary their meat dishes, it wasn't a problem. Conclusion: For those who don't want to eat meat, it's better to go to other restaurants. Thank you very much.

My absolute favorite place when I'm on Norderney. The food is truly fabulous. It's a long walk just to get there. It's best to make a reservation in person. My biggest criticism is the incredibly unfriendly manager (?), who usually makes reservations at the door. I've rarely been greeted with such an unfriendly welcome. We've been to this restaurant many times, and unfortunately, this isn't an isolated incident. The other waiters, however, are very friendly and provided excellent service.

I'm absolutely thrilled! 🤩 The atmosphere is super inviting, you immediately feel at home. The service is top-notch – attentive, friendly, yet totally relaxed. The staff is also simply fantastic, always cheerful and helpful. I'll definitely be back and can truly recommend it to everyone!

Very friendly. Dogs too 🐕 Friendly, very good steak, highly recommended. The waiters and the waitress with the dog are very service-oriented and give their all, very attentive. Not recommended. The food was okay, but the waiter and his colleagues were very rude and unfriendly. We were there with a group of 12 people. We weren't given time to look at the menu or choose drinks. Then he waited impatiently for us to choose our food. Given the size of our group, we shouldn't order starters; it would slow things down. The food didn't even come close to being ready. Since we ordered 6 pizzas, there would be delays because the oven only fits 8! Very strange. A group of three had already finished, and only then did the last two in the group get their food. One order was taken incorrectly. The bill was too high... if there hadn't been 12 of us, we would have left right at the start. Unfortunately, I had to give it 1 star to even be able to rate it. I would have preferred to give it minus 3.

We had a very good meal and were completely satisfied. We'd be happy to return on our next visit to the island.

We and our three children immediately felt welcome. The owner and the entire team are incredibly warm, child-friendly, and attentive. The food is freshly prepared, authentic, and simply fantastic. We visited several times during our three-week vacation—our children actually wanted to come back every day. Absolutely recommended for families and anyone who loves Italian hospitality and cuisine!

Despite having a reservation, the lady at the entrance was very arrogant and unfriendly. We hadn't explicitly mentioned the stroller when making the reservation, and it seemed to be a thorn in her side. Instead of working together to find a solution, we were rudely sent back outside. We used to go to this restaurant at least once a year, but that's no longer the case! It's a shame to be treated like that!

I ate at Sergio with my family. The reception from the manager was very unfriendly, and the waiters seemed quite annoyed. It's a shame I couldn't eat with my wife. Her ordered dish was served 12 minutes after mine. The restaurant was recommended to me, but unfortunately, I was disappointed.

A very good Italian restaurant, very tastefully decorated. We were lucky enough to get a table for two without a reservation. According to our table neighbors, you usually have to wait two to three days to reserve a table. The food was of very good quality 👍🏻👍🏻…Needless to say, the prices are quite high everywhere… Main courses around €30, the plain oysters €4.90 each, the baked oysters €5.90 each… but it is vacation, after all 😎

I took a pizza to go. It was very cheap for a purely touristy place, but it still had plenty of toppings and, above all, was delicious! I definitely recommend it! While I waited, I chatted with a very friendly waiter who was just as much of a sneakerhead as I was. It was very pleasant.

We had the starter platter for two, then the mixed grill and pizza. Everything was delicious! We can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience. Price-wise, they offer everything from inexpensive, simple dishes to more upscale and unusual dishes.

The Da Sergio restaurant is definitely one of the best on the island! The selection of Italian dishes is extensive and offers something for every taste. The value for money is absolutely fair, especially considering the high quality of the food. The taste of the dishes is simply exquisite – you can tell that they use fresh ingredients and a lot of love. The service is also super friendly and makes you feel completely at home. The ambiance is cozy and rustic, just right for a relaxing evening. However, if you want to eat at this popular restaurant, you should definitely make a reservation one to two weeks in advance – it is often busy.

Very delicious food. The truffle pasta with fresh truffles and large prawns was particularly good. The service is very attentive. We would be happy to come back. You can get a table at lunch without a reservation. Reservations are recommended in the evening.

There were three of us there. We reserved a table for 6 p.m. The atmosphere inside was very nice. We had soup, pizza, and pasta. Dessert was lemon ice cream with Prosecco. We also had Alster beer, wine, and water. The food was good. Prices were quite high, as everywhere on the island. The B rating was deducted because one main course was served 10 minutes before the other two. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Since I already know Da Sergio from the mainland, I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, I have to say I was really disappointed: - different menu - the pizza was tasty, but it was like any other Italian restaurant - the service made it clear that I should leave as quickly as possible to make room for the next guests. No one asked if and how the food tasted, no one asked if I wanted another drink. And they didn't even thank me for the tip. I'm used to something different at Da Sergio.

We were initially thrilled: a great atmosphere and delicious food. Unfortunately, the evening was completely marred by a serious incident. There was a piece of glass in the dessert (crème brûlée). We calmly and matter-of-factly reported the incident to the waiter. He apologized and passed the information on to the manager and his wife. What disappointed us: • No personal apology from management • Dessert was charged in full despite the incident • No compensation or any kind of accommodation This kind of thing shouldn't happen in the restaurant industry – and if it does happen, you should be taken seriously as a guest. It's a real shame, because the food and atmosphere were really good. Nevertheless, we won't be coming back.

At first, I was a bit skeptical... large menu... busy... do they offer gluten-free alternatives? Yes, it worked perfectly. The quality of the food was very good (we tried pizza, pasta, fish, and meat with and without gluten), and the service was very friendly and attentive. So, I highly recommend it... we wouldn't have been able to get a seat in the evening without a reservation, but at lunch, it was no problem even without a reservation.

After a very good experience at DaSergio in Aurich, we visited DaSergio Norderney on July 12th after making a reservation. There were four of us, and we ordered food and a bottle of wine. The food arrived after 5 minutes, and four minutes before the wine. Our comment that this was very unusual and inappropriate was ridiculed - we wanted to serve you quickly. Conclusion: NEVER AGAIN!

The pizza is truly first-class, but the service leaves much to be desired. It's a mass-processing place, and the people are at best polite, but not friendly. It's like a train station, and that probably affects the staff as well. A little more quality instead of quantity would be nice.

We wanted to have lunch as a family at Da Sergio after a visit to the beach. It was quiet, and many tables were empty – yet no waiter showed up to take our order. Only after I asked myself whether they were serving outside did a waiter appear, albeit with some delay. But instead of coming over to us, he went straight to a group that had just sat down – even though a woman in the group politely pointed out that we'd been waiting for a while. This was ignored. We were neither unfriendly nor in any way conspicuous – but we still felt like we were being a nuisance as a family. Such arrogance in the service is disappointing, especially for a restaurant that's priced at the top of its game. It's a shame, because the food should definitely be worth the price. But anyone who treats guests like this when they're just looking for a normal lunch shows little hospitality. Unfortunately, this was our first and last visit.

A cozy restaurant with high-quality dishes and truly pleasant and friendly service. Although the restaurant was quite busy, the wait time was absolutely moderate. I personally particularly enjoyed the unusual pasta dishes. Highly recommended!

Without question, highly recommended. We felt very comfortable. We stayed here twice and were not disappointed either time.

We were there on a Sunday afternoon. We got a table outside right away without a reservation. There were four adults, one child, and a dog. We could have brought the dog inside, but it was just sand, so we stayed outside. We had pizza, a grilled platter, and schnitzel. Everything was delicious and the price was in line with normal island prices. They even catered to any food intolerances. The service seemed a bit snotty and cold at first, but it turned out to be wrong; it was very nice and even funny. Conclusion: I would definitely recommend it and eat there again when I'm on Norderney.

Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. We had made a reservation six months in advance because we knew it would be very busy. At the entrance, we were greeted with only "Hello?!" and offered two tables either directly at the entrance or at the bar – but upon request, one inside was free. It took a full half hour before anyone came to us. Table water with wine was completely unknown, and after we had finished our meal and packed up the leftovers, our unfortunately completely overwhelmed waitress came to our table for the first time since ordering and asked if we had enjoyed our meal. We then refilled our wine ourselves. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back here and can't recommend the restaurant given the service and, at this point, the prices; you can just tell they no longer have a need for good service. It's a shame.

A very stylishly decorated restaurant with excellent Italian cuisine. Pizza, pasta, homemade pasta, meat, and fish—no culinary desires are left unfulfilled here. Prices are on the high side, but the quality of the food justifies the cost. The service is very friendly and attentive. Reservations are highly recommended for the evenings.

Unfortunately, it was a disappointing visit. The order was taken incorrectly, resulting in a long wait. When the food finally arrived, it was another disappointment: The fries tasted strongly of fish – they were obviously fried in the same oil. The chicken was tough and had a rubbery texture – neither fresh nor appetizing. Overall, a not a pleasant experience – I won't be eating here again.

An absolute disaster. First, the order was taken incorrectly – there was no sign of the grilled platter. The fries were disgusting, tasted like old fish, and were definitely not fresh. The meat was half-raw, tough, and had a sour aftertaste – simply inedible. This shouldn't happen in the restaurant industry. Hygiene, quality, and service are abysmal. They wanted to fob us off with a small espresso. Never again.

We were at Ristorante da Sergio on Norderney last night. The staff seemed rather demotivated. Attentive service looks a bit different. The food was served carelessly, we were asked twice for the bill, and then we waited over 30 minutes for it. The food was slightly oversalted. Two years ago, everything was much better. Perhaps the staff are still feeling the effects of the Whitsun weekend. What a shame.

Still the best Italian restaurant on Norderney—the decor, service, food and drinks, and a delicious wine selection. Good value for money. And, very important for some! Gluten-free pizza and pasta!👍

A clear 5 stars for the food in this restaurant – the taste is of a high standard. However, the food has to be deducted slightly, as there hasn't been a side salad available with the very expensive meat dishes for quite some time. Unfortunately, the culinary experience is repeatedly marred by the arrogant behavior of the "receptionist" (the owner's wife!)! Since we have been guests there several times, my initial impression was that she disliked us. However, since I have read many reviews about this behavior, and this behavior persists on almost every visit, my second impression seems more accurate – only obviously or apparently adequate clientele is valued in this restaurant. Such arrogant behavior towards guests is completely out of place in the restaurant industry! I would like to emphasize at this point that all other associated restaurants are excluded from this assessment! Those who can overlook this behavior will certainly be rewarded with culinary delights. Personally, however, I value a harmonious overall ambiance – and that includes treating ALL paying guests with respect – regardless of whether the clientele is obviously or seemingly appropriate! A little tip: Some people wear their fur on the inside ;-)!!!

A very trendy Italian restaurant with a good, unusual menu. Tables are assigned in two time slots each evening. A reservation made at 6:00 PM must be cancelled by 8:00 PM – a different kind of casual dining experience. All dishes, starters and main courses, were served lukewarm 😏; they would certainly have tasted even better hot.

I don't usually write reviews, but I just have to tell you about our short visit to this restaurant. After we had stood in the entrance area for almost 10 minutes, the manager came over and said, literally: "You're standing here, like you ordered and not picked up!" After we told her that we would like to eat something but hadn't reserved, she reacted with horror! "No reservation????" That was unacceptable! Nevertheless, she took offense and showed us to a free table. After we had sat there for at least another 10 minutes without a waiter in sight, we got up and left the restaurant! We have never experienced such arrogance in any other restaurant on Norderney! "Pride comes before a fall"!

Very(!) delicious pizza! We ordered 14 slices for our school class, and they were all ready on time. We can't really judge the ambiance, as we only picked up the pizzas.

We had two very pleasant evenings with incredibly friendly and humorous staff. The food (pizza and pasta) and the wine were excellent. Special thanks to the manager for the extra-spicy homemade sauce. A MUST-VISIT on our next visit to Norderney!

The first visit was impeccable, both the food and the service. Unfortunately, the second time, we had a "typically Italian" waiter who apparently also had poor hearing. Instead of a large one, I got a small drink, and the pizza was (absolutely uninvited) gluten-free, which I unfortunately didn't realize until later, after we left the restaurant. The dough was quite rubbery, but the toppings were OK. And the bill didn't arrive until after we asked for it three times.

Very tasty food and nice atmosphere. Unfortunately we were kept waiting a bit at the beginning, but the food afterwards was great and the service was quick. Without the long wait at the beginning it would be 5 stars. Very good shop. I can't judge how things go when it's really full.

Yes, very much so. We had a very nice evening with a really delicious meal. Both the starter and the main course were simply top. And a delicious red wine with it.

Incredibly delicious! Everything freshly prepared, good wines, pleasant crowd. Nevertheless, it is a bit hustle and bustle due to the quite lively exchange of guests. We also had a pretty loud bachelor farewell directly at the table opposite (it really wasn't that bad), but the landlady quickly pointed out the behavior that was inappropriate for the location. We would definitely go there again. The price is a little higher, but everything is within reason.

Has the chef changed?? There were four of us and the food was average at best! Everything is a little careless, the penne is literally swimming in sauce and the strips of beef fillet are literally swimming in sauce If the dish was to be part of the dish, you had to look for it... the pizza floats in the middle, and that Beef fillet came to the plate carelessly, but at least fried to perfection! We were there twice a week and were first seen after 10 Disappointed for years

Best pizza on Norderney, make sure to reserve in advance, it's crowded - for a reason.

Unfortunately, we didn't have the best experience when we visited this restaurant. The boss was very focused on a particular couple of guests, while other guests - including us - received little attention. Unfortunately there was no friendly greeting or farewell. There were also minor discrepancies with the service: our food was served at a delayed time, which we are not used to in other restaurants. Since this happened without comment, it was initially unclear whether the rest of the food would follow or whether it had been forgotten. Overall, we would have liked a little more attention and courtesy. With small improvements in the service, the experience could certainly be made much more pleasant.

Because you obviously want to stand out from your competitors in a positive way, pizza, for example, is very ordinary. You can go there, but in the hope of a "taste experience" nothing special!

Anspruch und Wirklichkeit sind hier deutlich entgegengesetzt. Der Kellner war arrogant, überheblich und etwas überdreht. Habe von der Karte das teuerste Filetsteak mit Gorgonzola und Nudeln bestellt. Das Steak war das Ende des Stranges , welches i.d.R. nicht als Ganzes auf dem Teller landet. Die Soße war mehr Sahne als Käse und gewürzt war sie überhaupt nicht. Von einem angerichteten Teller kann man auch nicht sprechen. Das war das mit Abstand schlechteste Steak, welches ich seit langem serviert bekommen habe! Von Kochen kann man hier wirklich nicht sprechen! Und für 38,50€ erwarte ich, dass es nichts zu bemängeln gibt. Einfach enttäuschend!

Visually a great location, the employee is quickly overwhelmed but makes up for it with her friendliness! Unfortunately the food wasn't convincing! The starter was way too cold, the pizza was hot but really tasteless and soggy! Too bad!

Well, that's fine, the cooking is heavily Germanized, and the people who are in a good mood, there are a lot of pseudo-Italian jokes, but nothing clever on the plate. Noodles are too soft!! Meat not at the point ordered. Elegant Italian seasoning with herbs etc. Nothing! Since when do Ravolies have dark gravy poured over them?? Tournedo Rossini actually had real goose liver, but it was cold, ugh, but the beef fillet was well fried and not medium rare as ordered Pseudo Italian with Italian posturing. So you don't need to go there for the food!! Salute and volley!!

Summary: Very unpleasant evening! We didn't feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Even though we had reserved and other guests came in after us, we were the only ones who were told in an unfriendly manner that we had to wait at the front. Meanwhile, the other guests were escorted to their table. Our food arrived late; We are not used to this from other restaurants. Furthermore, this was done without comment. It was therefore unclear whether the other food would arrive promptly, whether it had been forgotten or something similar. Not at all courteous! Although the food was delicious, we were unable to enjoy it due to the conversations from our neighboring table, both unpleasant and extremely loud. Seemingly regulars who seemed more important? Here, too, we would have liked the staff to be more sensitive towards other guests. This impression was confirmed for us as the evening progressed. We were treated without comment the entire evening: Since the knife used to cut the pizza was blunt, we asked one of the waiters to bring us another knife. The gentleman then came back without comment and aggressively squashed the pizza with a pizza roller. We were not asked whether we were entitled to do so. This has little to do with service. My companion then received a kitchen knife for her next pizza??? This seemed more than provocative to us. I would not visit this location again and next time I would choose a restaurant where we would be treated with respect.

Great upscale restaurant. A meal without sauce was a bit too oily for me. Otherwise I see good logistics.

We went there today for the second time with our small dog. Unfortunately, the table assigned to us was in a small, crowded corner even though we made the reservation two weeks ago. Our table neighbors didn't fare any better. After ordering, the starter was served lukewarm straight away (about five minutes after ordering)!! The main course followed immediately!! It was like mass processing!! No trace of a comfortable meal!! Furthermore, the lady who greets the guests is so arrogant and unfriendly, I have never experienced anything like that and it's completely unacceptable!!!!. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant. We will not be visiting this pizzeria again; a nice, comfortable evening looks different!!

Great food,... We had very very good fish (at higher prices but absolutely worth it). The starter arrived within seconds, but unfortunately the bottle of wine we ordered didn't arrive until 30 minutes later with the main course. The food then was fantastic!!!! We would have liked to have had dessert, coffee and a digestive, but after waiting for 45 minutes we left and said goodbye to the waiters eating pizza in the front part of the restaurant. So the food was great and the service, when it was there, was very nice. Unfortunately, the “if” gets in the way
