A very old-fashioned restaurant, but still cozy. I personally find it a bit too long that a drink takes about ten minutes to arrive at the table. However, the food arrived after just ten minutes, which I thought was really good. For me, the veal liver was a bit too heavily peppered and lacked salt, which unfortunately isn't provided on the tables. But it was still delicious.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant unless you're willing to wait more than an hour or are traveling with children. Even for drinks, you have to wait 25 minutes. The service was unsatisfactory. They seem to be overwhelmed.

A truly lovely little restaurant. We discovered it by chance last year and definitely wanted to go back this year. The service is excellent, and the two ladies are very friendly. Even when the restaurant is full and the food sometimes takes a few minutes longer. We highly recommend it. It was incredibly delicious, definitely freshly prepared, and you'd rather take your time with it, especially on vacation. It's definitely worth a visit.

Just don't eat herring there! (It's an Italian restaurant, after all 🤣) The herring in our ordered portion wasn't enough, so they replaced it with salmon. The fried potatoes were unpeeled, roughly chopped potatoes that had been dipped in fat once. The salad included whole radishes, and the tomatoes were very chunky. Overall, a poorly prepared dish. When we went shopping at the Netto next door afterward, we met the chef, who was buying several packages of the good, inexpensive, shrink-wrapped herring fillets. The pizza was okay, though. The decor was slightly dusty, and the curtain was hanging loose. It didn't look clean.

There were two of us there. It's a shame if the second meal only comes when the first one has already been half eaten. The spaghetti with sauce was good and sufficient, the pizza was very dry and not appropriate for the price. The onions ordered as an additional topping were not on the pizza - this was simply dismissed by the employee (according to the motto, oh...). The atmosphere is rather rustic and could also come from the 90s. If you like it, you're welcome. Unfortunately, another visit is out of the question for us.

Nothing special in terms of taste. I recommend the gnocchi with passata, unseasoned, for just under €15.

Yes, I ordered different tortellini but got the same ones. They must have skipped the sauce. The atmosphere is okay to OK. Prices are OK. The sauce is very runny. Conclusion: You can go there, but it's not a first- or second-choice option.

We were 7 people and two dogs and there was enough space. Starter for all bruschetta sufficient and without notice, for our Syrian friend, it was served without pork (ham)! Everyone was very happy with their dishes, from pizza, steak and lamb! Chef, affectionately called Catastrophe by us, came to the table for a little chat. Always happy, see you again!

Unfortunately it wasn't what you would have expected from an Italian. The tortellini and gnochi were probably just warmed up and definitely not homemade. The food was cold again within a short time.

Top. They also respond very well to the wishes of the guests. Even a world class steak.

Unfortunately the food wasn't good at all, a lot of oil, little pasta and a lot of sauce. When we pointed out that we unfortunately didn't like it at all, there was no response.

Soooo friends....almost 4 stars.... A good restaurant depends on the service being in a good mood. Here I experienced both sides, one...friendly and hard-working...the other...maybe should do something different... But good... The pizza was solid and tasty, but not a highlight in terms of taste. The dishes on the menu are solid and nothing new. All in all, you can't go wrong here if you don't have high expectations.

We have been coming to the La Gondola restaurant for many years and have never had anything to complain about. Even the most loving and committed staff is powerless to deal with a sudden onset of torrential rain and the rush of guests from outside into the fully occupied restaurant!!! So any complaining is unnecessary!!!!

Guests are left out in the rain. It's always a shame for everyone involved when the weather changes. However, I expect guests to be helped to bring food and drinks from outside seating indoors. Especially when there are still places available there. Unfortunately, within 15 minutes it started to rain heavily and hail. We were able to stay under the umbrella for some time and waited to see whether we would be actively offered help or whether any of the employees would even show up outside again. Unfortunately in vain! Only the seat cushions were saved from the rain and the guests were left standing there carelessly. One of our pizzas was largely lost to the rain, the other one was more or less “saved”. After we fled inside and discussed the situation and the lack of help, unfortunately the response was very rude. The reason was that there were guests sitting inside and therefore no help could be provided outside. Unfortunately for me these are not good host qualities! We were then charged in full and had the feeling that we should then leave the restaurant. The pizza was okay, but I've had better elsewhere. We probably won't visit La Gondola again and would rather spend our evenings at one of the other great Italian restaurants from Norderney.

Whenever we take a day trip to Norderney, we eat at restaurant la Gondola and have never been disappointed. We were invited to dinner. This time I had spaghetti Bolognese with parmesan and a mixed salad. Everything freshly prepared and delicious. The cozy Italian restaurant is highly recommended.

From a culinary point of view, something between canteen food and canned food. Unfortunately no more! You get fed up with it, but that's all.

Unfortunately the food was bad. The salmon fillet on my pasta was thawed and boned, the supposed cream sauce was a watery, spiceless soup. My husband's food was too salty. We are neither pretentious nor overly critical nor sensitive. But unfortunately that was nothing at all and a real disappointment. Please improve yourself! From the outside the store looks so nice and cozy.

We received a very nice and friendly welcome here several times. This lovely restaurant is a great place to take a short break from the hustle and bustle in high season and enjoy Italian cuisine in a lovely atmosphere. In addition, there are always delicious classics from German cuisine here. All in all, a nice family-run restaurant in a quiet location with good value for money. There were just two of us at 5:45 p.m. Unfortunately we couldn't sit where we wanted because the "good" seats had to be kept free for larger groups. That shouldn't be a problem at this time!! 15 minutes later there were 2 guests again and it was no longer a problem at the big table. I was very annoyed about it. Food was ok, although relative to other Italian ones. Restaurants are significantly more expensive. It's a real shame that you're not seen as well as a couple.

Nice pizzeria, delicious pizza, friendly staff. Price performance is right. It is better to reserve a table.

The food was very tasty. Price-performance ratio is definitely right. However, the praise regarding the staff surprises me a bit. When I ate there, the staff was only friendly to the pensioners. Women who eat alone don't seem to be as welcome. A pity.

There were 11 people there, very nice and friendly, a great little shop. The food I have to say was very good, the pizza was nice and thin and handmade, the fish was very good. The starter was also much better than expected. Only one meal came a little later, but otherwise very good overall. Let's go through the days again.

My partner and I were very pleased with our visit to "La Gondola". We ordered spaghetti frutti di mare and a steak that was fried to a perfect medium rare. The woman in service was very polite and attentive. We felt like we were in great hands and can only recommend this restaurant :)

We went there for dinner by chance. We were so excited about the food that we ate there the following two days.

Of the 3 dishes ordered, one pizza had the wrong toppings and bread was missing, which the waitress asked for three times. Unfortunately we were also freezing (8 degrees outside, pouring rain) so you can turn on the heating. Otherwise it was ok.

Essen kam sehr schnell. Ich hatte Nudeln carbonra... hatte aber nichts mit dem Gericht zu tun. Es waren Nudeln in warmer Sahne mit einer Scheibe Kochschinken. In meiner Kindheit gab es ähnlich wie Milchreis, Nudeln in Milch gekocht(süß)... so hat es ungefähr geschmeckt. Von einem Italiener hätte ich was anderes erwartet. Meine Frau hatte bruscetta und ein Salat- war ok.

Kleines aber feines Lokal mit sehr guten Speisen und freundlichem Personal. Besonders empfehle ich die Pizza Scampi, aber auch die tagesaktuellen Fischgerichte. Als Vorspeise sollte man unbedingt die Bruschetta speciale alla Sassi probieren (steht nicht auf der Karte).

Wir waren im Juli hier essen und waren mehr als zufrieden! Super freundlicher, aufmerksamer und sympathischer Inhaber. Er hat drei mal nachgefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist und uns nochmal persönlich verabschiedet. Zudem war das Essen unvergesslich lecker. Ein frisch gefangener Fisch zubereitet mit verschiedenstem Gemüse im Ofen. Das war unser zweiter Besuch mit der Familie. Er konnte sich sogar noch an unseren letzten Besuch erinnern und an unsere bestellten Gerichte. So aufmerksam muss man erstmal sein! Wir kommen jedesmal gerne wieder👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Top Laden alles kam prompt und war sehr sehr Lecker, ganz liebes Personal und auf Zack. Der Laden lädt zum Urlaub machen ein, ein kleines Stück Italien. Innen sprüht es vor Charme ... die Musik, toll ... wie im Urlaub einfach. Meiner Meinung ein Geheimtipp. Wunderbar!

Die bestellten Speisen waren sämtlich sehr schmackhaft und preislich angemessen. Die Pizza, mit Parma Schinken belegt , habe ich noch nie besser gegessen. Auch die Miesmuscheln waren in einem leckeren Sud seviert sehr schmackhaft . Die Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend. wir kommen gerne wieder

Leckeres Essen, liebe Bedienung und es ging super schnell. Dazu nettes Ambiente und entspannte Musik. Wir haben immer eine super Zeit hier :) Lohnt sich wenn man auf der Insel ist.

Guter Italiener mit leckerem Essen zu moderaten Preisen

Alle Speisen sind hervorragend. Auch sind alle Mitarbeiter freundlich und hilfsbereit. Uns gefällt es super dort.

Waren Abends spontan auf der Suche nach etwas zu essen. Getränke und Essen kamen prompt. Service und Ambiente waren gut. Alles andere naja. Die Salami Pizza war in Ordnung (13€) aber die Lasagne für 17,50€ leider ein Witz. Relativ kleine Portion, eine Nudelplatte drin, die restlichen 98% wurden nur mit Soße aufgefüllt. Alles in allen für 40€ mit 2 Getränken, nicht noch einmal.

Schönes und klassisches italienisches Ristorante. Sehr lecker und sehr nett. Meine Empfehlung!

La Gondola hat sich für uns als Lieblingsrestaurant entpuppt. Die Qualität des Essens war immer top, egal, welches Gericht wir ausprobiert hatten und das gemütliche Ambiente (wir haben draußen gesessen) runden einen schönen Inseltag immer ab. Das Restaurant war immer gut besucht und kritische Rezensionen übers Essen etc. können hier wohl nur der neidischen Konkurrenz zuzuschreiben sein.

Dafür das die Dame alleine bedient hat war es doch noch flott. Lasagne war lecker.

Wir haben fast 1.5 Std auf unser Essen gewartet! Es war gut, aber würde nicht nochmal kommen. Dafür auch zu teuer Allein fürs bezahlen mussten wir über 30 min warten.

Wir haben hier unser Essen zum abholen bestellt und die Portionen waren recht klein. Lasagne und 🍕 die auch nicht gross war und auch nicht rund war. Geschmacklich ok. Preis Leistung eher zu hoch für das was man bekommt.

Pizzen vollkommen überteuert (15 Euro). Vegetarische Pizza irgendwie ohne Geschmack. Wenig Belag. Service ist freundlich, Lage schön.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Das Essen war sehr lecker es kam sehr schnell es wurde nix aus der Tüte gemacht im Gegenteil . Die Kellnerinen waren sehr sehr nett und freundlich haben unserer Tochter sogar was zu Malen gegeben. Deswegen die Leute die hier 1 Stern oder nur 3 Sterne geben haben für mich keine Ahnung und es ist unverschämt dem Restaurant gegenüber. Weiter so machen wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. 😊

Langes Warten, Essen nicht so gut gewürzt. Die Bedienung waren sichtlich überfordert.

Pizza war ok, Nudeln grauenhaft schlecht und unverschämt überteuert. Dazu kam es noch aus der Tüte. Zudem hat es im Lokal nach Pisse gerochen. Die Bedienungen waren an sich ganz freundlich, aber auch sehr chaotisch und unorganisiert.
