We dined here by chance on Thursday, August 7th. My experience was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, not overly present. Meals, 251 and 252, were authentic Italian and excellently prepared with a tasty salad. The fish, both hot and cold, was delicious, and it felt like being in Italy. Our favorite country. Italia ti amo! But I was surprised at how well-maintained the bar and the restrooms were, with lovely hot water. I've already left a compliment via the lady behind the bar. My advice, truly independent, is: If you're spending a day on Norderney, enjoy a meal at Ristorante al Parco. If you enjoyed your meal so much, I'd love to write a review. I appreciate people who do their business well! Because there are those who like to cash in big bucks and want to do as little as possible. Compliments from Gerard and Erika.

We had a delicious pizza there. The crust was thin (if a bit bland in flavor), and everything was delicious. There was a short wait, friendly staff, and a lovely view of Norderney's main street.

We visited the restaurant in May of this year. This will also be our last visit. The food served was inedible. The salad dressing consisted of mayonnaise mixed with tomato paste. For my main course, I had Scaloppine al Vino (veal escalope in white wine sauce) with a side of pasta. Instead, I got tough minute steaks; the white wine sauce was very tasteless. The pasta was (inappropriately) coated in a pesto that was so spicy it was inedible. When asked if everything was OK, I answered what was wrong. There was no response; the waiter left without a word and didn't return. The service also seemed very unmotivated and lackluster.

"Tested it" for the first time on this vacation. I have to say: Whether it was the friendly and quick service, the delicious pizza diabolo, or just the great weather, it was very good and delicious.

In terms of value for money, this is one of the best on Norderney; many other restaurants are way overpriced! A simple, standard German-Italian restaurant.

We had penne (special request without oil or butter), mixed salad, tarte flambée, pizza tonno, and pizza ham. We were able to start eating almost simultaneously with five people. It was hot, delicious, and a good portion (the table next to us had their leftovers packed up, so that's also possible). There was no long wait, and everyone asked if we enjoyed everything. The price-performance ratio is currently better than, for example, Extrablatt.

Never again! An absolute disaster – completely disappointed as regular customers! We went to Al Parco on Norderney as a married couple to celebrate our anniversary – what was supposed to be a lovely evening ended in sheer frustration. We had reserved a table for 6 p.m., which worked – but after that, everything went wrong. The waiter barely spoke German, was completely overwhelmed, and immediately took the wrong order. He didn't even know his own menu. Then we were brought the wrong meal, and a salad that we had already canceled twice still came. The worst came when we paid: They tried to foist a completely incorrect bill on us from another table! Only after repeated inquiries did the head waiter appear, who tried to excuse the whole thing by saying it was a "new employee." That was no consolation – more of a cheap excuse. We left the restaurant furious – with full drinks still on the table! Our anniversary was completely ruined. That's no way to treat guests – especially not regular customers. Conclusion: An absolute no-go. Terrible service, no organization, no responsibility – we'll definitely never be back!

Ich war zum 1. Mal im "Al Parco" und war zufrieden. Da der reservierte Tisch noch belegt war, gab es einen Prosecco aufs Haus. Die Pizza war sehr schmackhaft und preislich vollkommen in Ordnung. Bedienung war freundlich. Besonders gemütlich ist es innen nicht, aber bei schönem Wetter kann man gut draußen sitzen. Ich werde bestimmt mal wiederkommen.

Very nice, a bit off the beaten track. You should rent bikes for about 15 km each way. I didn't see any seals, but that's just a matter of luck.

Very tasty food. Came within 4 minutes. Unfortunately it was very cold inside. My request to close the door was refused. 5 minutes later an older lady asked, then suddenly it went away. Oh well...

Unfortunately that was nothing. We have been there many times and have always been satisfied. Ordered a table today and we were assigned the only high table. I asked to get another table because we couldn't accommodate my 79-year-old father there. Even though there were still tables available, they didn't reschedule. We were sent out again. It's a shame, but we ate well at Schotti.

The first time and never again. The pizza wasn't baked crispy and the dough was tasteless. Maybe the salt had run out. Despite the request, the topping was not added with garlic. The spaghetti carbonara was totally over peppered. It is no longer common practice today not to offer card payment.

Es hatten eine sehr aufmerksam, freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen war sehr geschmackvoll und fürs Auge auch nett angerichtet . Ich bin sehr oft auf Norderney und werde mit Sicherheit dort öfters einkehren. Hier kann man ehrlich sagen, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier !!!

I agree with the 5 star reviews and have to laugh my ass off at who gives one star rating as John Doe. Just very cowardly! But on vacation you always have something to complain about and when you get home you buy the meat and fish at the discount store 🤣 We have been guests here for years and feel very comfortable with the good food and ambience. Everything is extremely clean. The food is very plentiful. All requests are taken into account and the staff is always very friendly and quick. As the saying goes, we came as guests and left as friends. Thank you for this hospitality 🙏🏻

We visited this beautiful restaurant several times during our vacation. The food was always excellent and came after only a short wait. I would especially like to highlight the staff, who at first I thought were the owners, so great and attentive. The owners can be very proud of having found these employees today. Namely Gustavo, his wife and Alessandra.

The rooms are modern and warmly furnished. The dishes are freshly prepared, beautifully presented and of very good quality. The portions are just right and not overloaded. The selection of food and drinks is well sorted. The service is friendly. The prices are reasonable but not excessive. We'll definitely come back.

Pizza was tasty, dough was too thick on the outside and tough like rubber in the middle. Garlic and chili oil were reluctantly brought when asked. You could have said that when you ordered. Tomato salad was not brought, there was only pizza. Unfunny staff, you can tell it's the end of the season.

My favorite restaurant on Norderney. Nice atmosphere and you can eat outside in a beach chair. The food is mostly Italian but there are plenty of other dishes too. I particularly enjoy stopping by there for a cappuccino. It's really tasty and relatively cheap and, above all, big enough. Elsewhere you can usually get a Minicappu. So just stop by for yourself and enjoy.

Wir haben uns bei leckeren Pizzen am Abend sehr wohl gefühlt. Dazu beigetragen hat der blitzschnelle und sehr freundliche Service. Was so an anderen Speisen an uns vorbei getragen wurde (z. B. Muscheln!), wird uns vielleicht wieder hierher führen. Wir saßen draußen, die Atmosphäre war sehr schön.

Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was a disappointment. The fish I ordered was extremely dry and hard to chew on the ends. It seemed like it came straight from the fryer and didn't see any fresh preparation. This restaurant is absolutely not recommended for fish lovers. To eat: Price/performance 3- Unfortunately, the taste of the lasagna was completely tasteless, you could only taste the cheese. It was also dry and the portion size was small. The salad with prawns was very salty and not exactly rich in various salad ingredients... The bruschetta...was OK but there are better ones on the island. All in all, there won't be a reunion here...

Today we ate a grilled sea bream and a lasagna. The food was prepared top👍 (thanks to the kitchen). The service is attentive. In addition, the tarte flambée is also delicious and well prepared here. (We ate 2 days ago 😁). The prices are OK too, considering it's Norderney. (Price including 2 large drinks ~52€)

Great restaurant, we only ordered pizza to take away, it took a while but it was worth it. Super delicious pizza! Very very friendly. Good location. So we fully recommend it. Pizza al parco is also a real recommendation.

We had penne with salmon. The portion was very small and you literally had to look for the salmon. I asked the waiter about it and was laughed at. Afterwards we were completely ignored. He gave our table a wide berth… no way to deal with criticism.

Thank you for the friendly welcome. We arrived on the island very late and unfortunately all the restaurants had already closed their kitchens. At Al Parko it was no problem not getting 2 pizzas, thank you very much for that, we will definitely be back!

We were there for dinner at summer time with a large group. They pushed the tables together for us and the food was great. I have to deduct one point because only cash payment is possible!

This is what an Italian should be like, friendly service, good chairs outside and a small, fine menu that has something to offer for every taste. Price performance is right. Bon appetit.

Unfortunately we weren't satisfied at all... the pizzas were only mediocre in taste, quite cold and unfortunately arrived about 5 minutes before my wife's salad... we ordered this without carrots due to allergies, but unfortunately it came with carrots... and even after complaining they were in There were still lots of carrot pieces scattered around the salad… no apology from the waitress… either way the amount of salad was reasonable for the price…. Since we were almost finished with the pizza, the salad just went back... what a shame!!!

The pizza itself is good, but I had salami and it wasn't Italian salami but rather Zervelat sausage. I found that very unfortunate. Otherwise a nice atmosphere and friendly service
