Good food and a great atmosphere. It suited our tastes and was reasonably priced.

Nice view, but that's all... There's no children's menu, and upon request, the only food available is chicken nuggets, nothing more. We're used to more child-friendly restaurants. Our meal, each of which was pike-perch fillet, once with herb butter, once with lemongrass and lemon sauce (dish of the day), had a lot of bones. It was poorly presented, and the salad wasn't worth mentioning—a lettuce leaf with dry grated carrots and an orange slice. The lemongrass sauce was musty and didn't taste like lemongrass at all. It's a shame, we'd hoped for more. And all of that for €65, including drinks.

I had steak with fried potatoes, which shouldn't have been a big challenge, but the food was a 3-4, lackluster presentation and tasteless, the apple spritzer was quite tasty

Great restaurant with a view over the harbor

We planned to visit the restaurant today at 5 p.m. We had read in previous reviews about longer wait times, but we felt it was rude that after waiting 10 minutes in the garden, no server had even looked at us. There were only a few customers in the dining room, the staff were chatting among themselves, and none of the tables had a "reserved" sign. So we sat down and waited again. When a waitress finally noticed us, she loudly asked all the other waitresses who had seated us at that table and whether we had reserved a table. Since everyone said no, we were asked in the same tone to move or be finished by 6 p.m. at the latest. So we don't know how good the food is. But we do know that we won't be visiting the restaurant with such unfriendly service again.

I've never experienced such a customer-unfriendly restaurant. We wanted to eat there with nine people for my grandfather's birthday. For those unfamiliar: there are two rooms, a nice one and one that looks like an ancient fishing pub. We couldn't book the nice room. Even though it was supposed to be a birthday dinner, and even though we explicitly said we wanted the nice room, the staff would have seated us in the much less nice room "as needed." Dogs aren't allowed. Dogs aren't allowed. I accept that, it's not my restaurant, but when I politely asked if I could bring my dog ​​as an exception, if she stayed in her car the whole time. Despite explaining that she couldn't be left alone because she had surgery last week, I was very rudely and harshly turned away. When I asked if we could change our reservation so that everyone could sit outside, I was told again that they don't take reservations outside. I then called again half an hour before dinner to see if there was room outside. They said there was "STILL room." When I asked if they could push tables together outside, the man on the phone said (again extremely rudely) that they don't take reservations outside. Not even for the half hour until our appointment. So I didn't go. It's very annoying how inflexible and unfriendly the staff there are.

I went there for dinner today and was unfortunately quite disappointed. The food used to taste much better – this time it was rather bland and unimpressive. The waitress was unfriendly, and the overall service was almost nonexistent. I found it particularly unpleasant that I didn't want to leave a tip because I wasn't satisfied with the meal. Nevertheless, the manager simply kept the change and thanked me for the "tip" – even though I clearly expected to get it back. I found that very inappropriate and, frankly, rude. For me, this was definitely the last visit.

Very good, regional food. Freshly prepared and served to please all gourmets. There's something for everyone :)

We went there for the first time because of the good reviews. First of all, the value for money is great. The service is on point. One small note: if everyone wore the same T-shirt, it would definitely make a better impression. The fries and salad were great. Only the schnitzel was a bit too thick for us; we're used to pounding it thin, and one schnitzel was very marbled. That was a shame. The ambiance could use some sprucing up.

Food was delicious, service was okay. The menu is really good, the food was delicious, and it came quickly. But somehow we didn't feel welcome. We didn't get a smile, and we were grateful to be served.

I ate here: turkey steak with "cream mushroom sauce" and rice from the daily special. The food would have been a grade-4. The meat was okay, cooked all the way through and a bit dry and tough, but perfectly edible. The "cream sauce" was a pre-made mush with canned mushrooms that was completely tasteless. The rice was sticky and mushy. The side salad was old and wilted, and partly spoiled. I ate the meat, at least, because I was hungry. The best thing was the Rostock dark beer that came with it.

Seeluft im Hafen von Barth macht durstig; und so kamen wir wegen der Lage direkt neben den Segelyachten ins Restaurant Vinetablick. Obwohl wir nur etwas trinken wollten, schauten wir in die Karte. Der Appetit kommt beim Lesen- auf eine Kleinigkeit. Würzfleisch und Fischsuppe. Klasse! Die beste Fischsuppe, welche mir jeweils serviert wurde. Wir haben sogleich für das Abendessen einen Tisch reserviert und sind wiedergekommen. An diesem Tag wurde als besonderes Highlight Tomahawk Steak vom Rind angeboten. Das machte neugierig und ich war begeistert. Ich bekam die Möglichkeit, mich bei der jungen Köchin zu bedanken , welcher wir für ihre Zukunft maximale Erfolge wünschen. Unser künftiges Stammlokal in Barth haben wir hiermit gefunden.

There's not really much going on in Barth. It was lunchtime and now we had to find a restaurant. We found what we were looking for at the harbor. Friendly and courteous service. Our little dog also felt comfortable here. The food came quickly and was plentiful and very tasty. We can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.

There are large portions here. In my opinion the portions are way too big, but if you're really hungry you'll get enough here. My tomahawk cutlet with fried potatoes and vegetables was very tender and tasty. Unfortunately the sauce was quite thick and therefore not that good. The restaurant is always busy, so you can't always get a seat despite the outdoor seating.

Sitting here for three quarters of an hour and waiting for our food, I cannot judge ambience inside. Since we were there with a dog and dogs have been knitting inside for 30 years.

A small, fine restaurant with friendly service and really good food. I had the mixed fish platter with fried potatoes and creamed sauerkraut. What can I say? It couldn't be better, it's simply delicious. Keep up the good work! You'll be my first choice the next time I come to Barth.

The food is unfortunately not recommended for my wife, the iceberg lettuce was brown. I had a so-called fish platter. When ordering I was asked what kind of side dish and the wrong one was brought. The beautiful fish, salmon, perch and pike perch, were rolled in flour and fried to death. The fried potatoes were cold and full of fat.

So a real tip in Barth. The food selection and the service are 1a. The prices are more than fair and the quality is really top. But you should be a good eater. The portions are very large, obviously nothing is left on the plate and one or two digestive schnapps are strongly recommended.

Perfect restaurant for us, 7 days of New Year's Eve vacation, eating at Moppi 6 times, I googled it beforehand and thank God I made the right decision, it couldn't be better. Stayed overnight in Barth on my bike tour and looked for a restaurant nearby for dinner and decided on this location. As it turned out, it was a very good choice. Everything was perfect here, from the friendly welcome and consistently friendly and courteous service to delicious and plentiful food and the modern ambience (I like wood paneling like that). In the summer the outdoor seating is probably the first choice, I'll make a note of that when I'm here again. VG

Cozy restaurant with friendly service, delicious food and moderate prices. Where can you get half a duck with red cabbage and dumplings these days that is still really tasty for under €20? We came to the above-mentioned restaurant by chance as nothing else was open. It was a lucky coincidence and we were simply thrilled. Very nice service, who are really on their toes. A great selection of dishes. We chose the ox cheeks braised with mashed potatoes and carrots, as well as Hamburger schnitzel with croquettes. The portions definitely fill you up and it was super tasty. We are very satisfied and will definitely visit the restaurant again.

Delicious seasonal food with fresh fish of the day at really fair prices and filling portions. View of the harbor. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to move two tables together when ten of us came and politely asked the waitress to do so - so it significantly diminished our fun.

The restaurant offers a very good selection for meat and fish eaters. I found something even as a vegetarian (the mashed potatoes were incredibly good!).

Unfortunately, we didn't get in because there was a "friendly" notice on both doors that potential guests were not welcome accompanied by their (in our case, small) dog. I can't remember the last time we saw a sign like that. We didn't even know that this restriction still existed. We just went somewhere else. As far as we could see, only one table in the dining room was occupied.

Auf Empfehlung dort Abendessen zum RUNDEN Geburtstag gebucht. Eindeckpauschale 5 Euro (!!!) pro Person: läppische Papierservietten und Besteck: äußerst lieb- und geschmacklos. Kein Wort zur Begrüßung, keine Gratulation, der Chef selber total ignorant und arrogant. Das Essen war 0815, der Service lausig: langsam, nicht umsichtig und auch nicht besser als der Chef. Einrichtung a la DDR & in die Jahre gekommen. Einziger Pluspunkt für die Toplage. Jedes andere Restaurant auf dem Darß war besser! So ein Reinfall! Nicht weiter zu empfehlen!!!!

I had a steak with mustard onion breading The breading was very tasty but the steak was very dry and I couldn't eat it all. I also mentioned it while cleaning up and got the answer that it was fried for too long.
