Drove an extra 40 minutes to find out it was closed. You can read “open daily from 11 a.m. since 1991.”

So a real tip in Barth. The food selection and the service are 1a. The prices are more than fair and the quality is really top. But you should be a good eater. The portions are very large, obviously nothing is left on the plate and one or two digestive schnapps are strongly recommended.

The food is great. Price-performance fits!! Happy to come back!

It's so crowded and hard to get a spot. No wonder, because there are good things on offer. Middle-class cuisine, at prices that are almost unimaginable and the portions are almost too big. But you like to pack up. Friendly service, tasty food. We'll be back.

Perfect restaurant for us, 7 days of New Year's Eve vacation, eating at Moppi 6 times, I googled it beforehand and thank God I made the right decision, it couldn't be better. Such friendly service, great food, the store is running smoothly, they're doing something totally right. Tomorrow we'll go again, it was our first visit to Barth, we'll definitely go to Moppi again. All thumbs up...

Stayed overnight in Barth on my bike tour and looked for a restaurant nearby for dinner and decided on this location. As it turned out, it was a very good choice. Everything was perfect here, from the friendly welcome and consistently friendly and courteous service to delicious and plentiful food and the modern ambience (I like wood paneling like that). In the summer the outdoor seating is probably the first choice, I'll make a note of that when I'm here again. VG

Cozy restaurant with friendly service, delicious food and moderate prices. Where can you get half a duck with red cabbage and dumplings these days that is still really tasty for under €20? The staff is friendly and happy to give tips. We will definitely come back and hope that the restaurant will be spared from the floods in the future.

We came to the above-mentioned restaurant by chance as nothing else was open. It was a lucky coincidence and we were simply thrilled. Very nice service, who are really on their toes. A great selection of dishes. We chose the ox cheeks braised with mashed potatoes and carrots, as well as Hamburger schnitzel with croquettes. The portions definitely fill you up and it was super tasty. We are very satisfied and will definitely visit the restaurant again.

A very unfriendly young lady asked us if we could bring a small dog in. No, but in what a tone. We asked very politely and I went in alone. We already saw from outside that people were rolling their eyes, the one with the dog. Well, there are other places that don't have a problem with this. Never again....

Delicious seasonal food with fresh fish of the day at really fair prices and filling portions. View of the harbor. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to move two tables together when ten of us came and politely asked the waitress to do so - so it significantly diminished our fun.

The restaurant offers a very good selection for meat and fish eaters. I found something even as a vegetarian (the mashed potatoes were incredibly good!).

Unfortunately, we didn't get in because there was a "friendly" notice on both doors that potential guests were not welcome accompanied by their (in our case, small) dog. I can't remember the last time we saw a sign like that. We didn't even know that this restriction still existed. We just went somewhere else. As far as we could see, only one table in the dining room was occupied.

Das Restaurant hat einen Außen- und Innenbereich. Die von uns bestellten Speisen haben uns nicht besonders geschmeckt. Das Fleisch hatte einen hohen Fettanteil. Die Bedienungen waren unprofessionell. Eben ein Tourilokal.

Auf Empfehlung dort Abendessen zum RUNDEN Geburtstag gebucht. Eindeckpauschale 5 Euro (!!!) pro Person: läppische Papierservietten und Besteck: äußerst lieb- und geschmacklos. Kein Wort zur Begrüßung, keine Gratulation, der Chef selber total ignorant und arrogant. Das Essen war 0815, der Service lausig: langsam, nicht umsichtig und auch nicht besser als der Chef. Einrichtung a la DDR & in die Jahre gekommen. Einziger Pluspunkt für die Toplage. Jedes andere Restaurant auf dem Darß war besser! So ein Reinfall! Nicht weiter zu empfehlen!!!!

I had a steak with mustard onion breading The breading was very tasty but the steak was very dry and I couldn't eat it all. I also mentioned it while cleaning up and got the answer that it was fried for too long.

You won't get food this great and so much anywhere else!! Mega delicious, great service, great people! Keep it up!! Recommendation is guaranteed!!

Last but not least, we got a table for two people there. However, due to the very full restaurant, it was very loud and not exactly pleasant to sit there in the middle of the room It took over an hour for the food to be served, but it tasted quite good. Afterwards we felt like we had to leave straight away because we missed the comfort there. The staff was very friendly and I have to highlight the young girl who served us. Conclusion: If you want to eat there, maybe first make sure it isn't that crowded.

Unfortunately I can't rate the food because the rude waitress turned us away from the table. Since my wife and I wanted to sit in the sun, we had the nerve to sit at one of the 6 free tables for 4, even though there was still a free table for 2 next to the waste bin (the remaining tables for 2 were occupied). Since we didn't want to sit next to the garbage cans, we left the restaurant. It's a shame if 60 euros in sales aren't enough in the off-season.

I discovered the restaurant by chance because it looked so inviting from the outside. It is located right on the harbor with a very nice terrace. The service was very friendly, quick eye contact, a friendly, welcoming smile and you feel welcome. The food was very nicely prepared, very tasty and overall harmonious. We ate fish with fried potatoes. A family that loves entertaining guests! We will definitely be back, please keep it up 👍

After the good reviews here, we were really looking forward to the food. The restaurant is really well attended because the location on the harbor with a large terrace and the very reasonable prices seem inviting. The staff is friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the medallions that were served to my wife and I had been killed in the pan. Juiceless and tough, no trace of pink inside. Plus far too much pepper on the meat and the vegetables made from peas, carrots, parsnips and celery (!). It's a shame when the fries are the best thing on the plate.

In the port of Barth there is a place of high hospitality and great food. The locals lovingly named it Möppi - after the senior manager's nickname. But the next generations are already swinging the wooden spoon very skillfully. There is very good German cuisine here with lots of fish and prepared with love. Reservations are worthwhile in high season.

We have eaten here several times. When we vacation up here. And it's always delicious. The girls are also very quick and friendly. Always happy to come here. Very satisfied and recommended.

There were seven of us in the restaurant and although it was very busy, we didn't have to wait long. I ordered a schnitzel with spiced meat. The portion was huge and tasted delicious. The plate was lovingly prepared. The value for money was unbeatable. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The view of the harbor is simply fantastic. We'd love to come back. I can only recommend this restaurant.

Today, as we have often done in recent years, we reserved a table at Vinetablick. Apparently things aren't going well with the new crew. We waited an hour for food and watched as customers asked for a table, sat at the next table, ordered, received their food and were already ready while we were still waiting. When we complained, we were rudely rejected so we left empty-handed and hungry. Conclusion: the food was always good, the service is now terrible and unfriendly. We won't eat there again.

I would like to detail and explain my review, but Google just won't allow it. Even after making several changes to the text, I kept getting the message that my text was “offensive”. There was not a single word in the entire text that could be construed as “offensive” in any way.

There are large portions here. In my opinion the portions are way too big, but if you're really hungry you'll get enough here. My tomahawk cutlet with fried potatoes and vegetables was very tender and tasty. Unfortunately the sauce was quite thick and therefore not that good. The restaurant is always busy, so you can't always get a seat despite the outdoor seating.

I let myself be guided by the reviews and am very satisfied. There were four of us there, luckily around 5:30 p.m. It was a bit chilly outside, but it was still busy outside. Two tables inside were not reserved. So everything was done correctly. 3 x Hamburger Schnitzel and Matjes was our choice. Each with fried potatoes. So, something delicious. And even if you're very hungry, you'll feel really full. Add a delicious beer and the day is saved. The service was very attentive and accommodating. Very, very good. And not just one service, but all of them. We felt wonderfully looked after as guests. The toilets are also very clean. Everything perfect. There is also a free parking space in front of the door. If it is full, there are also paid parking spaces directly there. You have to pay by 10 p.m. We were able to park for €2 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:40 p.m. That wasn't the last time. WE WILL COME BACK.

Waren zum Abendessen dort. Einfaches Lokal ohne Ambiente. Sehr preiswertes Essen. Sehr üppige Portionen. Einmal Lachs mit Pilzrahmsoße und einmal Schweinemedailions mit Käse überbacken bestellt. Dazu jeweils Bratkartoffeln. Zwei riesengroße Stücke Lachs bekommen. Leider übergart und trocken. Die Schweinemedailions waren leider drei flache Stücke Schweinesteaks, die ebenfalls zu lange in der Pfanne und trocken waren. Die Salatbeilage bestand aus essiglastigem Weißkraut. Einfache Bratkartoffeln ohne Speck und ohne Zwiebeln.
