Blue Marlin Restaurant in Barth

Wir haben richtig lecker gegessen! Ich hatte den Burger mit gereiztem Rotbarsch und er war mal was komplett Anderes und mega lecker. Mein Mann hatte sich die Pasta Surf & Turf bestellt, was auch richtig lecker war. Und die Dame im Service war super lieb und witzig!

Selten bin ich so überrascht worden! Alles top! Sehr freundliches Personal. Gutes Essen toller Blick auf den Hafen.

Bei einem Spaziergang durch den Hafen sind wir auf das Lokal aufmerksam geworden. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und auf unsere Wünsche bzgl der Vorspeisen sowie des Hauptganges wurde aufmerksam eingegangen. Der Kellner ist immer direkt zur Stelle gewesen bzgl der Getränke und hat sich auch sonst sehr freundlich aber unaufdringlich verhalten. Das Essen war einfach spitze, sowohl die Vorspeisen (Matjes und Ziegenkäse Salat) als auch die Hauptspeisen (Scholle und Ochsenbäckchen) haben wirklich vorzüglich geschmeckt. Die Portionen wurden auf schickem Porzellan serviert und waren mehr als ausreichend. Wir können wirklich nur positiv auf unseren Besuch zurück blicken.

Wir hatten reserviert und haben draußen Platz genommen .Nachdem wir an einem Tisch im Schatten Platz genommen hatten . Kam ein Kellner und verwies uns auf einen kleineren Tisch .Man hätte sich das ersparen können, wenn man uns die Tische empfohlen hätte .Trost ist ,daß es nachfolgenden Gästen auch so ergangen ist .Die Karte ist ok ...Wir hatten gewählt und das Essen war ok .Zum Nachtisch hatten wir ein warmes Schokoküchlein mit Sauerrahmeis und Sahne .Es war ok ,aber habe es noch nie erlebt das man eine Eiskugel auf dem Küchlein drapiert !Leider kann ich das Eis nicht beurteilen, da es geschmolzen ist ,und der flüssige Kern auch nicht mehr da war ...Fazit : Das Ochsenbäckchen war der Hammer ,der Rest war ok und der Service so la la ...

Der Fisch (Rotbarschfilet) war sehr lecker und auf den Punkt gebraten. Die Bratkartoffeln waren selbst gemacht und ebenfalls top. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Dazu ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Kleines Lokal am Anfang der kleinen Hafenpromenade. Für mich das beste Backfischbrötchen, was ich je entlang der Küste gegessen habe 😋👌. Die Currywurst und die Penne wurden ebenfalls für sehr gut befunden. Freundlicher, professioneller Service und gemütliches Ambiente außen und innen.

Gegen 19Uhr wollten wir vor Ort direkt einen Tisch für zwei Personen für 20:15Uhr reservieren. "Machen wir grundsätzlich nicht, kommen sie einfach, dann sehen wir ob ein Platz frei ist." ---ungewöhnlich!---- Um 20:03Uhr waren wir da. Das Lokal ca. 50% besetzt im Aussenbereich. Die Bedienung hat gecheckt, ob die Küche die Bestellung noch annehmen würde.... Fazit um 20:05Uhr, wir wurden nicht bedient. Das Lokal hat bis 22Uhr geöffnet, die Küche bis 21Uhr! Viel Erfolg weiterhin mit diesem miesen Kundenservice!

Das Personal ist total freundlich und das Essen wirklich sehr gut.

Das Essen war köstlich, leider war eine der Bedienungen nicht dabei. Die Dame (rothaarig, im Kleid mit Ankermuster) hat unsere Bestellung falsch aufgenommen. Statt Calamari brachte sie uns Garnelen und knallte das Essen mit den Worten „Das hätten Sie bestellt“ auf den Tisch. Keine Entschuldigung, nur finstere Blicke während des Essens. Eine sehr unangenehme Erfahrung.

Ob Scholle , Zander , Königsberger Klopse , gebackener Blumenkohl oder Tagliatelle : Drei Tage super Service und tolles Essen ! Kompliment ans gesamte Team 💪👍

Während meines Aufenthalts in Barth habe ich zweimal hier gegessen. Beide Gerichte waren jeweils fantastisch. Der Service ist super freundlich, die Portionen riesig und die Lage direkt am Hafen ist ein Traum. Auch innen ist das Restaurant sehr hübsch maritim ausgestattet. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend.

Wartezeit für einen Salat und Germknödel 30min, falsches Bier serviert. Die Bedienungskraft war total überfordert und unhöflich (hatte Tätowierung am Bein , ein Pinguin). Auf die Kritik, dass die Germknödel zu klein und wie aufgebackt schmeckten sowie ein falsches Bier geliefert wurde reagierte sie beleidigend. Diese Gaststätte ist für mich gestrichen. Das Essen an den anderen Tischen sahen aber sehr gut aus auch der Salat war sehr gut.

Sehr leckeres Essen mit schönem Ambiente am Hafen. Vegetarische Gerichte sind auch auf der Karte. Bedienung war sehr freundlich.

Wir waren in unserem Urlaub ein Mal hier essen. Das Lokal hat eine tolle Lage, direkt am Hafen von Barth. Unser Essen hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Tolle Portionsgröße und super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir haben sehr lecker gegessen, in gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Der Service war sehr gut. Dieses Lokal ist absolut empfehlenswert!

Super lecker Schnitzel mit Shrimps Ragout. Vorspeise Matjes Restaurant Style, alles tippitoppi. Auch der Hund wurde nicht vergessen und bekam sofort frisches Wasser angeboten.

War eher zufällig, sprich nicht „gegoogelt“😉, dass wir bei Ingos‘s Speiselokal gegessen haben, da wir durch Barth ohne festes Ziel liefen und dann kurzerhand entschieden hatten, dort auch zu essen. Da wir unten am Hafen waren, liefen wir einfach den Kai entlang. Ein Blick auf die Karte, die Sonnenstrahlen des Frühabends auf der Terrasse und der Entschluss stand fest: hier bleiben wir jetzt. Eine tolle Entscheidung! Solch eine leckere Scholle!! Dazu eine sehr zuvorkommende und entzückende Bedienung. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und gefreut, dass unser erster Eindruck sich bestätigt hatte. Definitiv kommen wir bei unserem nächsten Besuch dort oben wieder!!

Sehr freundlicher Service, ganz tolle, authentische Einrichtung. Die Küche ist ebenfalls einheimisch orientiert und wirklich sehr schmackhaft. Dafür sind Preise und Wartezeit absolut ok. Hunde im Lokal müssten nicht unbedingt sein.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Besonders die regionalen Fischgerichte haben überzeugt. Der Service war aufmerksam und herzlich. Der Blick auf den Hafen macht den Besuch zu etwas Besonderem.

Sehr nettes Restaurant, wir saßen draußen auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf dem Hafen. Die Bedienung waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das essen schön angerichtet und lecker. Wir würden hier wieder essen.

Nach drei Tagen an der Ostsee, haben wir heute das erste Mal sehr gut gegessen,zu normalen Preisen und Portionen,dazu nette Bedienung

Wir haben per Mail einen Tisch reserviert und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Wir waren mit vier Erwachsenen und Hund dort – besonders aufmerksam fanden wir, dass direkt und ohne Nachfrage ein Wassernapf für den Hund gebracht wurde. Außerdem bekamen wir einen schönen Tisch in der Ecke, sodass unser Hund ganz entspannt seine Ruhe hatte. Der Service war durchweg freundlich, zuvorkommend und schnell – die Getränke kamen sehr zügig. Auch das Essen hat überzeugt: qualitativ sehr gut, lecker und frisch. Dazu eine gemütliche und angenehme Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Preis-Leistung stimmt hier absolut. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!“

Wir sind mit 4 Personen und 1 Hund dort eingekehrt und haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Nette Bedienung, super leckeres Essen (Scholle, Zander und Ochsenbäckchen) und ein ruhiges Plätzchen, da wir den Hund mithatten. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Tolles Essen, kreative Karte, guter Service. Preise angemessen. Besonders die Zusammenstellung der Gerichte hatte es uns angetan, alles andere als 08/15. Wir hatten Kabeljau auf Kartoffel/Sellerie/Möhren/Senfsoße.

Mit schönem Blick auf den Hafen haben wir hier sehr lecker gegessen. Alle Zutaten waren frisch und sehr schmackhaft. Sehr netter und aufmerksamer Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Fischburger völlig überteuert für fast 20 Euro, wenig Fisch. Blumenkohl mit Kartoffelstampf sehr trocken. Service war trotz alledem sehr gut, freundliches Personal.

Wir waren sehr positiv von der schönen Location überrascht – von außen lässt sich kaum erahnen, wie gemütlich und einladend es innen ist. Trotz Vorsaison und der noch kühlen Jahreszeit war das Restaurant gut besucht, was für sich spricht. Die Speisekarte war etwas verkleinert, bot aber dennoch eine gute und ausreichende Auswahl. Ein paar Gerichte, die wir uns zuvor auf der Online-Karte ausgesucht hatten, waren leider nicht verfügbar – das war ein kleiner Wermutstropfen. Wir können nur positives berichten. Leute geht hin probiert es aus. Super frische Küche,mit viel Kreativität und herzblut gekocht und angerichtet. Bedienung herzlich und aufmerksam. Alte Gerichte neu und zeitgemäß aufgegriffen. Einfach lecker. Wir kommen wieder versprochen.

The two main courses were equally impressive. You can immediately tell that they use top-quality ingredients and true craftsmanship. The flavors were precisely balanced, and every detail on the plate was perfect. If you value a genuine culinary experience, this is the place to be. For dessert, we had plum sorbet and sour cream sorbet. The taste was absolutely delicious. A huge compliment to the kitchen for this outstanding performance!" It would have been perfect if the fireplace had provided a little more warmth and ambiance. We will definitely be back.

When we entered the restaurant, several people were sitting at the counter, watching us. Somewhat perplexed and hesitant, we went over to find someone to show us to our reserved table. It turned out that the staff were sitting at the counter. That was a bit odd... We ordered, among other things, pike-perch with Spätzle and a burger. The burger was presented without any care and tasted mainly salty and sour. Fries weren't included; they would have had to be ordered separately (we're used to better). The pike-perch was rather dry and very salty, and the Spätzle were greasy and somewhat overcooked. We had expected more after reading the mostly positive reviews. The ambiance is nice, as we remember from previous visits. Unfortunately, the fireplace was off, even though it was below freezing outside. What a shame! We won't be eating at this establishment again—we were disappointed!

It was very cozy and the food was fantastic! The wine list could be improved, e.g., by including the name of the winemaker.

It's outrageous how guests are first alienated and then blamed for it. Let's start from the beginning: you make a reservation, receive confirmation, and then two reminders, 24 hours and 1 hour before your appointment. Then you arrive to find the door locked. That's completely unacceptable. And when the owner responds on Google, suggesting you could have checked the website or that you should think about the people behind it, he's clearly suffering from the Dunning-Kruger effect. Because the only person who should have been thinking about the guests who made the reservations was the owner! Simply informing these guests would have been the right approach.

We had a rather unusual experience with this restaurant. On January 1st, we wanted to have dinner at this restaurant with two guests. To this end, we placed a reservation request for 6:00 PM on their website. This reservation was confirmed by email on December 19, 2025. We received a reminder email on December 31st. Another email, sent on January 1st at 5:03 PM, reminded us of the 6:00 PM reservation. When we arrived with our guests at 6:00 PM, the restaurant was closed! So, on New Year's Day, we found ourselves standing in front of a locked door, left to figure out where else we could get something to eat. We will certainly be looking for more reliable restaurants in the future.

We went there today for a birthday breakfast. A very nice breakfast buffet, super friendly and helpful service, and a fantastic view of the harbor. I can highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back.

Digital professionalism meets analog incompetence. For my husband's milestone birthday, I reserved a table digitally on the restaurant's website for dinner. I received digital reminders about the reservation 24 hours and again an hour beforehand. Perfect. However, on-site, the reservation was nowhere to be found in the physical order book. The restaurant was fully booked. After some back and forth, we were finally given a small table. The service was attentive but quite overwhelmed. Several drinks on the menu were unavailable. The food was good, but somehow the overall impression was significantly marred, and it didn't turn into a special evening. Incidentally, we received a digital thank-you for our visit an hour after our meal. Perhaps they should opt for a single ordering system. This would prevent problems like the one described, and customers would feel much better taken care of.

Unfortunately, it was so dark that you couldn't really see what was on the plate. And every time the door opened, an icy draft came through, despite the vestibule.

We had made a reservation several weeks in advance. Today we were greeted rather rudely and led to a separate room. When we asked why we couldn't get a table in the restaurant, we were told: "You can see it's fully booked." As we were leaving, someone called after us: "Have a nice evening anyway." This is simply unacceptable.

I ate here about a month ago, and I have to say the food was simply first-class. The appetizers fulfilled their purpose (to taste good). Our group was all well-fed and had a great evening 👍. The service was very friendly, welcoming, and created a pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely come back again.

We visited Ingo's Restaurant for the first time on the recommendation of friends. We really enjoyed it and the food was delicious. The presentation was also beautiful. The staff was very friendly and professional. The entire atmosphere was perfect. We will definitely recommend this restaurant.

Very good food, table a bit small.

We felt comfortable and the food was very tasty – definitely worth recommending! For a winner of "My Local, Your Local," there are still a few small things that could have been improved: - It took quite a while for our food to arrive (almost 50 minutes). - Our server couldn't recommend a wine to go with my meal because she "didn't know much about it." - When paying, we weren't even told what we had eaten, nor did we receive a bill/receipt; only the total amount was given. This meant we couldn't verify whether we had paid the correct amount.

We had a very good meal at Ingo's Restaurant in Barth. The dishes were beautifully presented and tasted great. The portions were a good size – meaning we were well-fed! The prices are absolutely reasonable, not too expensive! The strawberry sorbet for dessert was particularly outstanding 😍 It was truly sensational! We'd love to come back! And by the way, we were allowed to bring our dog along, too – that wasn't a problem!

When I travel for business, I stay at the Hotel Speicher in Barth and often eat in the restaurant. The service, the quality of the food, and the presentation are excellent. I really appreciate the time they take between the appetizer and the main course. It's simply indulgence and quality time.

Highly recommended. The food was of very high quality; everyone enjoyed it. My only minor criticism would be that the service was a bit overworked, and we had to wait a long time to reorder drinks, for example, but otherwise the service was super friendly and competent. We'll definitely be back.

First of all: we weren't eating here, but we wanted to. First attempt, on a holiday, we arrived around 8:15 p.m., and were told they couldn't accommodate us because the kitchen was closed. (The official kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m.). It seemed a bit strange to us, as quite a few tables were still occupied (>10). So far, so good; we accepted it. The next day we arrived around 7 p.m. We were told that, unfortunately, without a reservation, nothing could be done "again." The "again" showed us that the waitress from the previous day recognized us and was neither willing to look at the reservation book nor set up one of the many empty wooden tables. A look at the online reservation portal showed that 8:30 p.m. would have been an available time. There was no indication from the waitress. The day before, the kitchen was supposedly already closed at this time. Unfortunately, good service doesn't look like that. Conclusion: Without a reservation, nothing can be done. Apparently, a spontaneous visit is only possible if you meet the waitress's visual expectations. Very superficial.

Waiting time: > 45 minutes, squid stuffed with cabbage, blackened and charred on the cut surfaces, no teriyaki sauce, instead salad and squid in a rather watery liquid. Restaurant visit not recommended!

We were there today. There were 10 guests. I counted, and then we were told we'd have to wait 45 minutes. So, if it had been full, that would have been fine, but 10 guests? And almost all the tables were free. This is the third time we've downgraded the rating for this reason. We used to enjoy going to Ingo's Speiselokal often, but now it's moved to the Speicher. We won't be going back. Simply disappointing... 😡 This is what it used to be: A small restaurant with an outdoor area by the harbor. A clear menu with delicious dishes. The service is friendly. We'd be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, the food was served cold. The portion didn't fill me up. I didn't find the staff particularly friendly or receptive to criticism.

We've been to Ingo's several times. The menu is varied and changes with the seasons. The quality of the food is incomparable. First place in "My Local - Your Local" is more than deserved. The service is excellent and warm. Based on our experiences, we decided to hire Ingo to cater our wedding at Hohendorf Castle. And we were not disappointed. Our expectations were even exceeded. The selection, quality, and creativity of the dishes are unbeatable. Our guests were absolutely thrilled and will definitely visit Ingo's restaurant. We will definitely recommend Ingo's restaurant.

Truly delicious food! Everything was freshly and lovingly prepared. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos, but it was beautifully presented. A super friendly team. Delicious wine. A full and light meal – what more could you want?

Even two months after the move, the old address was still listed in the reservation emails, and the restaurant was difficult to find because INGOS wasn't recognizable from the outside. We sat at the reserved table for 25 minutes without being served. We then left, so we can't comment on the food.

The best place in Barth for delicious food. The food was very good, especially the octopus was a surprise. The service was very attentive and courteous, and the view of the harbor at sunset is simply breathtaking. We had a wonderful evening. Thank you for this.

They've moved. The food was modest but excellent. Ordering was necessary even though there were plenty of free tables. Service was OK, and they were still in training.

We're thrilled – outdoor seating with a direct view of the harbor, highly recommended cuisine with obviously high-quality ingredients, very aromatic, very lovingly and appetizingly presented, friendly and attentive staff. (The large portions, at least for the 4-course menu, were almost impossible to finish; a third less would have been absolutely sufficient.)

Unfortunately, we are very disappointed. We went there as a family with two children. It looked promising at first. The drinks arrived quickly. Then we had to wait more than 1 hour 15 minutes for four dishes, even though the place was only half to two-thirds full. The timing needs to be reorganized. When the food arrived, one dish was wrong. After complaining about this, the response was, "I can complain to the kitchen." Hmm, that's not customer-oriented! At the thought of having to wait another hour, we accepted the food we received. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the "adult" meal, as it ruined the mood. The kids' meals are unfortunately not child-friendly: The tomato sauce for the pasta dish is more of a lemon-tomato sauce and hardly tastes of tomato. The mashed potato is also flavored with lemon. I've never experienced anything like that before. The icing on the cake came when we paid. The second waitress asked if everything was okay. After pointing out the incorrectly received dish and a long wait, she offered a half-hearted explanation that this can happen. What wasn't even offered was an apology. That's completely unacceptable! Unfortunately, I can only advise against this if you want to be treated with service and courtesy and receive your food in a reasonable time.

There were five of us from Stralsund and a small dog. All five dishes, including starter and dessert, were excellent, delicious, and tasted like a poem. We'll be back! The staff was friendly and always tried hard to accommodate all guests. They were also very dog-friendly. It was a wonderful evening with you. We had made a reservation online. After calling, they said, "Oh, we must have had a system outage, but we're full now and don't have any space." Very poor service.

We forgot to mention the preferred cooking method—unfortunately, no one asked! It was well done, and we asked for medium-rare. Next time, we'll do better (smiley)

Ingo participated in "My Local-Your Local." He was the winner in his season, and expectations were accordingly high, and they were met. Flavor explosions in every course... Very good service and, ultimately, a fair, reasonable price. Conclusion... highly recommended.

As repeat offenders, we visited Ingo's new location today, albeit for the first time, which is even more beautifully situated, and it is precisely this wonderful warehouse atmosphere that gives the culinary delight an extra topping👌! Absolutely perfect ambiance, even as a local you feel like you are on vacation. The menu has been updated, but Ingo remains true to his style. Regional suppliers with seasonal and regional products, that's how we like it. I chose something very special today, "baked Barther country egg in mustard sauce". Hey, you're thinking, mustard egg(?), how can you choose that in a restaurant? All I can say is, give it a try, a home-cooked classic presented at the highest level👍. For me, an absolute masterpiece, a pure eye-catcher in terms of taste and appearance. I already knew the Pomeranian beef tartare, but even that was topped today. A lovely evening, almost like being among friends, excellent guest service with a personal welcome and culinary delights. We are definitely still fans of Ingo's. Many thanks to the Ingo's team - you are great!

Ingo can cook... cheeks, catfish, and starter were great! But! The service was abysmal. When we asked about the wine list, we were told: We don't have one. This was followed by a list of house wines by the glass. After an hour, we discreetly asked why Bodden Brot was taking so long. The answer was: The receipt had been lost! Apparently this can happen even in a half-empty restaurant. But then they really get going. Not so with Ingo. We got the main course after 2 hours! I've never experienced anything like it! The service team stood at the bar the whole time, including Ingo's wife and their 10-year-old son. The guests seemed secondary. After a failure like this, you at least offer a dessert or digestif as small compensation. But not with Ingo. The Hotel Der Speicher did itself no favors by subletting. What a shame.

We've eaten at Ingo's restaurant several times, and it's always been excellent. Everything is beautifully presented, and the staff is always very friendly. The value for money is absolutely perfect! We'd be happy to go back!

We had actually made a reservation at the Blue Marlin and received an email reminder of our reservation. Unfortunately, the email also included the old menu. If we'd known the new one, we wouldn't have gone there. We weren't at all satisfied with the food. Therefore, we won't be coming back.

We went to Ingo's on July 5, 2025. I'd been wanting to eat there for a long time, and my partner surprised me with a surprise, so we made a trip from Stralsund to Barth. Unfortunately, we didn't go to the original restaurant, as a new concept is being developed there, but rather to the sterile atmosphere in the attic. That was the first disappointment; I had expected at least a small piece of the loving atmosphere to find its way here as well. Nevertheless, we were really looking forward to the meal. For starters, my partner had the house-cured salmon, "the king of the fjord," which must have fallen off its throne. Unfortunately, he didn't even notice the cure from a distance; the sea buckthorn vignaigrette was a mustard dressing, and the black radish was pickled pearl onions. I had the Caesar-style salad, and the reign of the great emperor is obviously long gone. A carelessly arranged pile of limp lamb's lettuce with two or three small pieces of radiccio and chicory hiding fearfully beneath the wilted mountain. Everything was neatly covered with Parmesan cheese that had been grated to death. The baguette was crispy and, combined with the well-seasoned tomato salsa, very tasty....my starter was therefore simply bruschetta with inedible salad. When we asked the waiter while clearing up if everything was OK, we politely voiced our criticism. All we got was a nod and the waiter didn't come back. The main course was then brought to our table by another server. My partner had Finkenwerder plaice and I had fried redfish under a wild garlic crust. The portions were large and beautifully presented, and we were looking forward to it, certain that our disappointment with the starter would now be made up for. Wrong thought. The plaice was mercilessly oversalted, and the fried potatoes were mostly burnt. The wild garlic crust was also prepared by a chef who was deeply in love, and in addition to being salty, it was also mushy, deserving of the name mush rather than crust. The perch was well prepared, still had a slightly translucent core, and would certainly have been delicious without the copious amounts of salt. The highlight of my main course was indeed the turnips. Our plates were still quite full when another server came to our table. She obviously noticed that we hadn't finished our meals, and I again politely, objectively, and friendly expressed my criticism to her. Another nod, no apology, no offer of an espresso on the house...no response. We left the restaurant very disappointed and then enjoyed some delicious fish sandwiches at the fishing boat across from "StammIngo"...we were still hungry, after all. We hope that the quality (both food and service) will improve once the restaurant returns to its home base, and we'll definitely give it another chance. However, we'll arrive with significantly lower expectations so the disappointment isn't as great.

To celebrate my birthday, we treated ourselves to a three-course meal at Ingo's. Every bite was delicious. The service was impeccable. We'll be back.

There were eight of us. We waited two hours for our food, even though the restaurant was practically empty. A birthday party was there with us, and they were also upset. The service was unfriendly. Several families were turned away well before eight, and the kitchen closed at nine. Absolutely terrible and not recommended.
