Vollbarth in Barth

Four of us ate there. Unfortunately, we waited a good 20 minutes for service before one of us had to push in. The rest actually went pretty quickly. The food was served on slate platters. "Cheese in a Full Beard" was served with a cheese syringe, which the server injected into the burger. Original, but unfortunately, there was not enough cheese. "Colorful Feathered Beef" was unfortunately a bit cold, and I found the red and yellow burger bun dry. The red bottom part was difficult to cut. I also think it wasn't quite as advertised on the menu, but oh well, it tasted okay. "Wilde Hilde" and "Full Beard Salad" were tasty. They skimped on the salt in the side of fries. They also missed giving us cutlery, but we were promptly replaced. Unfortunately, when clearing up, there was no question about feedback or whether there was anything else we could get. Bad luck. It's also strange and questionable from a hygiene perspective that the staff wring out the rags (presumably for the tables) in a bucket in the lobby, as if there were no running water inside.

Simply amazingly delicious...an unusual menu with amazing names 😅...simply amazing...the waiters are incredibly attentive, even when minor mistakes happen... I highly recommend it!!!!

So, I'd give it 10 stars! An absolute must if you're in the area! I made a reservation in advance! I felt welcome even on the phone! The atmosphere was fantastic! Everyone was super friendly and polite! They even accommodated special requests! The food was so delicious that we immediately reserved again for the last evening of our vacation! The opening hours...just my kind of humor! Keep up the good work!

I've been to Vollbarth several times, and the food and service have always been good. So I went there with my companion to show them how great it is. But unfortunately, we had bad luck with the service. It started with the fact that we had to wait a long time before anyone even came to ask us what we'd like to order. My drink was barely carbonated, and the burger I ordered was unfortunately very dry. At least my companion's was tasty/good (as far as I'm used to). When we finished our meals, the waiter came relatively quickly to clear our plates; my glass was already empty. Unfortunately, while they were clearing them, they didn't ask if we wanted anything else. Okay, okay, no drama, but even after 15 minutes, no one came. No one asked if we wanted a new drink or maybe another look at the menu. Instead, the staff preferred to hang around at the counter rather than even ask (we were sitting directly in view, even as we walked past, they didn't even glance at our table). It wasn't even full, and there weren't crowds coming into the restaurant at once to explain it. So it wasn't stressful, but there was still no incentive for the three employees to be attentive. Perhaps they weren't in the mood? We went to the counter to pay (who knows how long we would have had to wait otherwise). When paying, I mentioned that we would have liked dessert. The staff's response: "Then you should have yelled at me!" 🤦🏻‍♀️No, you have to look left and right sometimes and not hold on to the counter, because it stands up on its own 👌🏻 What a shame.

Four of us went to the restaurant today. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. First of all, the service was simply not good. We had to wait quite a while for our order to be taken and our burgers to arrive; our side didn't arrive and was only brought after we had already eaten half of the burgers. The four of us shared a 0.75-liter water bottle, for which we ended up paying €10, which is absolutely outrageous. Even though the burgers tasted really good, they weren't particularly large for the price. We had to share the cheddar injection per burger; half was injected into my friend's burger, and I got the other half. Furthermore, the 200g burger patty ended up being three smaller burger patties. The sweet potato fries, however, were really tasty. The baked potato tasted like a boiled potato. The cheese sauce that came with the fries was watery and didn't really taste like cheese. Personally, I also found the picture of Jesus hanging on the wall inappropriate.

We were here for the first time today and would love to come back. The food was incredibly delicious, the service was super friendly, and we felt at home. See you next time 😊

A full 5 stars! The restaurant, the ambiance, and the staff are very friendly and always check in to see if everything is okay. The restaurant has really cool, fitting music, and we enjoyed it. We immediately made a reservation for the next day.

I'm definitely not a 🍔 fan, but I have to say, we were thrilled with the location, food, and service. We received a friendly welcome, unannounced, and they made every effort to find us a table. As soon as we were seated, the menu arrived, along with a small welcome aperitif. You hardly know that anymore. We were served by a friendly, courteous, and cheerful woman. The drinks were delicious 😋 and well-mixed; they even made sure the glasses were a bit larger to pass the time. 👍 We ordered burgers, and a fun question-and-answer game was on the table to pass the time. We'd barely played a few cards when our food arrived. Served and beautifully decorated on a slate platter. In summary, we really loved it, so 5 stars and a recommendation.

We visited this restaurant for the first time today. I can't say much about the ambiance because we sat outside. But the food there is top-notch. The burgers are amazing. The service was very friendly. If you want good food in Barth, this is the place to be.

You should definitely stop by here if you're in the area. And if you're not, you should make a special trip. The shop is very stylishly decorated, the staff is very friendly, and the food is excellent. It couldn't be better. Thank you very much.

Really good burgers Worth eating there

We were on vacation in Barth and tried out a few restaurants. But Vollbarth was the best and most amazing place ever. Everything was perfect. From the food to the atmosphere, we felt very comfortable. But the girls were especially fantastic; they were simply adorable. Luckily, we also had a mini concert, which made everything even more perfect. Summary: We felt right at home and will never forget you.

While looking for something to eat, we landed at Vollbarth thanks to Google Maps. The name, the ambiance, the super-funny menu - MEGA 😆 The service was a perfect match: friendly, approachable, and also in the mood for jokes. Perfect, just how I wanted it 😊 Unfortunately, I wasn't particularly hungry, which, in retrospect, I find a shame, because I would have loved to try the burgers 🍔. I ended up with the "little Zicke" (salad with goat cheese, walnuts, and pomegranate dressing) - highly recommended. All in all: not your average restaurant, incredibly delicious, great service. 5 🌟

We would have loved to have been whisked off our feet, but unfortunately we were turned away at 8 p.m. and didn't get anything to eat, even though the restaurant was open until 10 p.m.

We ate here four times during our almost two-week vacation. I think that says it all. We really enjoyed the food, and the portions were filling (once I had to have the leftovers packed up, which is saying something for me). The service was also very friendly. We took a closer look at the burger bar in Barth and were very impressed. The outside and the entrance area were very inviting, stylishly decorated and wheelchair accessible. Once inside, we received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our tables. The menus came quickly and the drinks were strong. They even made sure that drinks with ice cubes were made in larger glasses to minimize waste from the ice - simply great. For meals, we chose a quesadilla with cheddar and filled tacos with chili con carne, herbs, guacamole and tomato sauce. Both were really good and made with love. There were question and answer cards on each table to help pass the time while we waited (super funny). The main courses were "blasted pork" and "on the mouth" in XXL. Both were very nice and filling burgers. The petties were homemade and the burgers were well constructed overall. The burger buns were just the right crispiness, the salad was fresh and they didn't skimp on the cheese. The side dishes and sauces were really great and there were plenty of them. There was nothing to complain about in terms of the decor and ambience, nice and chilled, clean and great, fitting music. The toilets were very clean and they even had deodorant. The downside, as always with me, is that you had to touch a lot of things to use things like the light switch and tap etc. Everything was wheelchair accessible and easy to reach. What wasn't so good was one or two seats that were too close to the aisle and the online reservations which didn't work out so well. All in all it was very good and the staff are really good at their job, with a lot of enthusiasm and motivation you can get a lot done and when the boss sets a good example it's fantastic. We'll be back and there will be plenty of them. PS: the pictures hanging everywhere are amazing.

I visited the restaurant for the first time today. I was completely impressed; the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The service was very friendly and attentive, and made me feel very comfortable. The food was delicious, right from the first bite. Absolutely fantastic. We'll be back, that's for sure. We didn't have a reservation and were immediately given a table for three. A cool place with delicious and, above all, creative food, friendly service, and a really cute atmosphere. But you can do even better, guys! The following isn't a complaint, just thoughts that came to me while enjoying it. Your sauces are clever; I like the idea of ​​the whiskey sauce; it would be even better with a second flavor shot, perhaps a light smoky flavor. That would come with a Scotch, for example. I'll have to check the BBQ sauce again on my next visit; I thought the delicious contents of the cute little bowl were more like steak sauce, but maybe I ordered the wrong one. One more thing: the music was awesome and loud. It didn't bother me, and I was the only customer. But when the chef is in the kitchen with a different taste in music and the same sound pressure level, I, as a guest, find myself in a rollercoaster of emotions every time the kitchen door is open. Especially annoying when both channels deliver good sound. It was a lovely visit, I'm still feeling full and I'm looking forward to the next time, there's still a lot to try 😋

Nice place, service was great too. Ordered two burgers, but unfortunately, the patties were mixed up. The smashburger ended up with regular meat. What a shame.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Our online reservation went smoothly and was confirmed by phone. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We waited about 45 minutes for our food, but we weren't disappointed. The burger patties were very juicy and perfectly grilled. The 3 little pigs are an insider tip. And the fried potatoes are delicious. The only drawback: the waitress should have pointed out that you have to order fries separately with a burger.

It was my first and by far not the last time in the small but very nice burger bar. I can only recommend that everyone take a look for themselves and then go home full and satisfied. The shop with the staff is a 12 out of 10 keep it up people. and see you next time 😊

We were welcomed and served by very friendly staff, food and drinks were ordered quickly and delivered quickly - a good thing because we were hungry! A great burger joint. You immediately feel at home in the atmosphere and everywhere you find little things that show that the store is run with passion. It starts with the sometimes very funny menu, continues with the conversation cards at the table, to the free deodorant in the toilet. The food itself can be given full marks. We had burgers, fries, casadilas and sweet potato fries. Everything was really delicious. The service is absolutely friendly and very hard working. All in all, really great! The only thing you need to know beforehand is that "only cash is real". We didn't accept card payments, but that's probably coming soon. Nevertheless, it was a really nice evening and we felt very comfortable!

Clear recommendation! We were welcomed very nicely. Our dog got free water and enough space. The food was super tasty and even came quite quickly. Very cozy furnishings. Anyone who doesn't know what to tell their companion has an advantage here, because there is a small chest at each table with interesting questions that encourage chatting. Sandra and her team is what makes this place special. The interior is really great and has cool nostalgic but modern vibe. We tasted a lot of different menu items and especially the burgers where really good with some nice touch ups (cheese infused:-).

We were here in October 2024 and were able to enjoy the delicious food and the great service here! We had the cheese in our beards. Mexican, the wild Hilde, the sweet bitch and filled nachos. The smallest one with us had the pasta with Bolognese. All of this was very tasty and fresh. Thank you for this great meal. We would love to come back!

We went there spontaneously yesterday without a reservation. When we asked if there was a seat, the waitress immediately replied “no”, while the waiter was still looking for a solution and was much friendlier to us than his colleague. After it was finally clarified that there was no option for us to sit. So far so good. When we then asked whether we could order something to take away, the waiter was again solution-oriented, while the lady, with a face apparently contorted in pain (probably the reason for the question about to go), immediately replied that it would take a very long time. How long is very long has not been determined. My conclusion after reading other reviews here: our 7 year old daughter was to blame. Children are apparently not welcome here. (My opinion can also be misleading) Unfortunately I can't write anything about the food right now...it's a shame, but everything on the menu sounded very appealing.
