Whole experience was great, we even met the owner who is very pleasant, service is good, food is amazing. I had Karadjordjeva steak it was one of the best, if not the best i ever had. I can’t recall when i ate so well overall. We ended it up with nougat baklava and raspberry cake and I can’t decide which one was better and tastier. This place is must visit whenever you are close in this area

Many other restaurants could learn a thing or two from this one, especially regarding the friendliness of the service. I celebrated my 59th birthday at Restaurant Panonija today. This restaurant exceeded all my expectations. From the service, which was incredibly friendly, attentive, and courteous, to the dishes themselves. Anyone expecting excellent food should be prepared to wait a while for their meals, because you'll definitely be rewarded with delicious food, no matter what you order. The price is absolutely reasonable for what you get. The ambiance is also very appealing and cozy, and the tables aren't too close together. For us, it was a wonderful, successful, and satisfying evening in every respect. Thank you so much, and keep up the great work!

We found it too loud. It was difficult to have a conversation. It took an hour and a half for the food to arrive. The food was okay, but nothing more. I found the ground beef too dry, too fatty, and too finely ground. It was more like sausage meat to me. The fries were good, but overall I found the food rather bland. I won't be going there again.

As I run a business myself (a medical practice), I'd like to give you a hint. If you regularly have a lot of guests, a reservation must be made with a clear "from-to" time. It's unreasonable to arrive at a restaurant with a reservation and have to wait because guests already there don't want to leave – and you can't tell them not to (which you actually can't if no time has been specified). We didn't feel welcome – not to mention that we wanted to introduce our German friends to the excellent Balkan cuisine and hospitality. It was embarrassing. We ended up frustrated and ended up at the fourth restaurant on Saturday evening. Yes, it's acceptable to wait a bit, but we didn't get the impression that you had a plan for what to do – other than keep us waiting. It's a goodbye.

Actually, it was cozy. The food was good, but we waited over an hour for it. Of course, it was busy. But then you have to organize yourself differently. The waiters were unfortunately overwhelmed, but it wasn't their fault that there weren't enough of them. We waited 25 minutes for our first and only drink. We weren't allowed to order another one. Sorry, no second chance from us.

Everything was perfectly organized, the food was outstanding as always, and all the guests were completely satisfied. The day before yesterday, I was there again with Adis, Silvija, and my father-in-law, and what can I say? Panonija has once again outdone itself. I've visited many restaurants, both here and in the Balkans, but none can match the quality and authentic taste of Panonija.
