Gourmet Iglus Christkindelsmarkt Baden-Baden in Baden-Baden

To advertise a menu that costs around €7 in a discount store as “gourmet” and charge €80 per person for it is an absolute disgrace. 100 g of meat, canned corn, sliced ​​peppers, a soft drink and a Parisian bread that tastes more like a sponge or rubber in the mouth. No coffees, no dessert. Poor quality, completely exorbitant price. Absolutely not recommended.

We were there yesterday, it was a great experience. The ingredients were excellent, the meat was of great quality! You could reorder everything as often as you wanted. The service was incredibly friendly and the orders came very quickly. The only downside was that it was very cold from below (feet). Unfortunately there was no dessert, that would have rounded everything off. (maybe an idea for the next few years) Drinks are not included (but we knew that), but they are very expensive. But all in all it's very great, we would come again!! Thank you for a great evening!!

A lot is still missing for 5 stars. Ingredients as advertised. Very tight for 8 people, no coffee or espresso, no desserts, Staff friendly and helpful. Cold inside despite infrared heating. Location is a bit like being in a zoo due to the location on the Christmas market and the people walking past.

We spent a wonderful evening here. The ambience is unique and especially our service person Anthony was unique. Attentive, friendly and always available straight away. When we asked if we could get more blankets because it was a bit cold in the igloo at the beginning, we were immediately brought warm insoles for our shoes and later the blankets we wanted. Thank you & Merci Beaucoup Anthony! The only person who spoiled our evening was the lady who occasionally asked us whether we were satisfied so far and became rather flippant in the course of the short conversation. I assume this was the service line. One person in our group was approached and looked critically, while the other person was directly told that the wine glass that fell over during the conversation was their fault. We were unanimously of the opinion that we could definitely have done without this conversation; it could probably be done a little better. Positive points: - Unique ambience - Great service - The ability to reorder almost all ingredients Negative points - At the beginning the igloo was a bit cool, it would be nice if a blanket was provided at every place - Toilet situation - it is certainly noted that toilets are available in the spa building and in toilet vans, but on weekends these are also heavily frequented by the remaining visitors. Going to the toilet should therefore sometimes be planned as part of a longer trip. As a suggestion for improvement, it might be worth considering whether it would be possible to create a toilet specifically for visitors to the igloos (incidentally, we also briefly mentioned this to the service management, which was met with the answer that she passed it on to her boss , she will probably just laugh about it) All in all, it was a great experience that can only be recommended 👍🏻

We were particularly excited about the gourmet igloo in which we sat. The atmosphere was unique - stylishly decorated, warm and cozy, while we were able to enjoy the sparkling Christmas market and the beautiful lighting through the glass walls. The food was an absolute highlight: exquisitely prepared, with high-quality ingredients and perfect service. Every course was a pleasure, and the selection of drinks left nothing to be desired. The entire Christmas market has an incomparable atmosphere - from the charming stalls to the Christmas sounds and festive ambience. Everything was excellently organized and the attention to detail was noticeable everywhere. A big compliment to the organizers and the team at the gourmet igloo! For us it was a little oasis of relaxation. Simply forget all the stress of everyday life and leave it behind you. Recharge your batteries and energy. With this service and the quality plus the ambience, this is made very easy. We thought the menu suggestions on the menu were great, as was the quality of the food. P.S. Wonderful concept, you sit in the middle of the Christmas market and yet have your own private area. This year I was there on two evenings, once with six and once with eight. Both times we had a lot of fun and ate delicious and plentiful food. The service was very dedicated, fast and friendly 🏎️💨💨 Summary: Great idea, well implemented. We'll definitely be back next year 👍👍

We had our Christmas party there and everyone was very happy. Sure, the prices weren't low. But there was also good, very friendly, funny service, a great ambience and refills of all the food were included. Gladly again.

Good idea with room for improvement… We had booked a table for four and had Igloo 9. Due to a bereavement, only three of us could go. Positive: -very friendly reception with a short explanation of how everything works. -beautifully lit igloos - nice location at the Christmas market - There are blankets and, if you like, warming insoles -Raclette cheese delicious However, we see a need for optimization here at a price of €60: - Tables are much too big, if you use the meat fondue (broth) you sometimes have to get up to get the skewers out. If you're still wearing winter clothes, which can be the case given the temperatures, it's annoying for a guest. - the tables are also too big because with all the fur on the chairs and when someone has to go to the toilet, some people have to get up, it's just too narrow. - the raclette with fondue is also simply too small. There are better options for a table this size. - The range of food on offer is very manageable. It doesn't matter here that you can request infinitely. It's called "Gourmet" and you just get tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, peppers, potatoes, turkey-pork-beef strips, three sauces, that's it. The cheese is of course obligatory. The cost of goods per person is certainly around €5-6 - no welcome drink, for €60 it would be nice to get a mulled wine. Cheap to buy and the guests are happy. - not a cute idea. Kaiserschmarrn could have been served cold and prepared; as a guest, guests would have liked to warm it up in the raclette. Neutral: - It's unfortunate that you can't put meat/potatoes on the raclette. Everything is also very low in fat, so I can't understand the fire department's opinion. The igloo is so leaky that no one will suffocate. It may be due to the heater above the fondue. But that's a real shame, but we knew that beforehand. Our conclusion: For four people it is €240. For that much money you just expect a lot more and effort. For 240€ you can eat somewhere else for four people. We wouldn't recommend it

First of all, many thanks to the entire team! We made a booking for St. Nicholas Eve, but couldn't attend because everyone in the family was sick. A postponement to any (!) other day that was still free was possible and was confirmed within hours. A big thank you for your goodwill at this point. Now about yesterday's lunch in the igloo we had booked: The drinks were pleasantly cold and were served at usual restaurant prices. The igloo was pleasantly heated ;) There are options for regulating the temperature both under the “blanket” and at the feet, no one was freezing here! The food was excellent, we got meat, cheese, bread, potatoes, sauces and various side dishes for four people, including freshly (!) sliced ​​mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, onions, pineapple, diced ham and sliced ​​Spanish salami. Everything was super fresh and could be ordered at any time by ringing the bell in the igloo. The service was at the igloo within seconds and the reorder was at the igloo in a few minutes. Big praise for these logistics too. We went home very (!) full :) and satisfied. Definitely justified for €59 per person. We'll definitely be back next year!!!

Wünderschöner Abend mit einem klasse Service. Alles wird nachgebracht wenn man möchte und in sehr guter Qualität.

Das Ambiente war einfach zauberhaft und wir hatten zu sechst wirklich sehr viel Spaß beim Raclette und Fondue essen. Im Voraus wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass wir uns warm anziehen sollen. Uns war es dementsprechend warm. Es war alles da was man nun mal so braucht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und immer Parat wenn man einen Wunsch hatte. Vielen Dank für das schöne Erlebnis!

Wenn ich manche Kommentare lese kann ich es absolut nicht glauben. Als wir da waren hat es in Strömen geregnet und das Service-Personal war dennoch stets aufmerksam und für uns da . Wir haben alles an essen nach ordern können, hungrig ist hier keiner gegangen. Das Fleisch war qualitativ hochwertig und es wurde alles frisch zubereitet. Einen großen Respekt an das Team und die Chefin. Tolle Idee schöner Ort zum gemütlich zusammen sitzen. Am Preis gibt es absolut nichts auszusetzen.

Ganz tolles Erlebnis, kann ich nur weiterempfehlen! Nicole und auch die anderen Mitarbeiter:innen waren super freundlich und haben uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Man kann so oft nachbestellen, wie man möchte. Das Essen ist eine 10/10. Immer wieder gerne! Hunde sind auch herzlich Willkommen :) P.s. Sind extra von weiter her angereist, um dieses tolle Ambiente zu genießen! Chefin total lieb ! Service erste Klasse, wenn man Fragen oder Wünsche hatte, wurde alles erfüllt. Auswahl völlig ausreichend, wenn man etwas nachordern wollte, kein Problem ! Es wurde alles, ohne Aufpreis!!!, nachgereicht, dh keiner ging hungrig nach Hause. Wir waren alle "pappsatt". Lediglich Getränke sind extra zu leisten, dies ist ja aber in den meisten Events der Fall, also für uns garkein Thema ! Es gab Heizstrahler, Decken und für kalte Füsse auch extra Einlegsohlen !!! Kalt wurde es sowieso nicht, da durch Personen und das Raclette zusätzlich Wärme ausgestrahlt wurde. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder ein Iglu reservieren, für den Preis und das Ambiente, suuuuuuper. Tolles Ambiente und sehr schöne Atmosphäre

Ein sehr freundlicher und kompetenter Service. Das Ambiente ist sagenhaft bei Einbruch der Dunkelheit. Dazu durften wir einen guten Wein genießen. Wir haben uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt und hatten es auch warm. Das Fleisch und die Lebensmittel sind regional und von guter Qualität. Alles in allem war es ein gelungener Abend und freuen uns nächstes Jahr wieder kommen zu dürfen.

So unglaublichlich schön und mit sehr viel Liebe gemacht

Die Sterne gibt es für das schönes Ambiente und den Service. Es war zum Glück auch nicht kalt. Aber was als Auswahl an Essen angeboten wurde, war, gelinde gesagt, sehr enttäuschend. Es war immer für 2 Personen gerichtet, aber für 59 €/ P absolut nicht gerechtfertigt. Und natürlich ohne Getränke! Allein Kartoffeln und Brot gab es ausreichend… Auf der Grillplatte durfte man wegen Rauchentwicklung nichts braten, aber das Öl im Fondue erzeugte genug Rauch. Nochmal nicht. Völlig überteuert. Sicher fallen noch mehr Kosten in den Betrag, aber dennoch jenseits aller Relationen.

Das Essen war lecker, wenn auch optisch nur sehr wenig auf dem Tisch stand, wurden paradoxerweise alle dennoch satt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Nur das Iglu war wirklich ein Iglu 🤣 wir mussten alle trotz Heizstrahler, mit Jacke und Schal im Iglu sitzen und haben trotzdem gefroren. Am Ende waren wir so durchgefroren, dass wir nicht mal im Anschluss den Weihnachtsmarkt durchlaufen sind, weil wir schnellstens in warme Auto wollten, was wir schade fanden, denn der Weihnachtsmarkt machte wirklich einen schönen Eindruck. Parkplätze zu suchen war auch ein Desaster. Hatten aber dann am Ende doch noch Glück gehabt, einen nahen Parkplatz zu finden. An sich war es aber trotzdem ein schöner Abend.

Es war ein wunderschönes Erlebnis und hat Spaß gemacht. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Liebe Grüße aus dem 2. Iglu.

Schönes Ambiente für einen besonderen Abend! Service ist super freundlich und war immer schnell da! Sehr empfehlenswert! Das Essen ist qualitativ hochwertig und hat alles super geschmeckt! Kleines Manko: an den Füßen war es richtig kalt! Kleine Verbesserung: bei dem Fleisch haben wir nicht gewusst was oben lag, unten klar sieht man Rind und Geflügel und oben dachten wir es wäre Schwein, da wir alle kein Schwein essen, haben wir es liegen lassen. Im Nachhinein hab ich von einem Freund erfahren, dass es Kalb war. Schade!

Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Es war wunderschön, dieses Konzept ist etwas sehr besonderes. Das Essen hat eine super Qualität, von allem konnte man so viel nachbestellen, wie man wollte. Service kam nach wenigen Sekunden. Der Preis ist absolut fair, man zahlt nicht nur für das Essen, sondern auch für die Location (man darf nicht vergessen, man befindet sich auf dem Christkindlmarkt in Baden-Baden!) und das Konzept. Von außen kann man kaum in die Iglus schauen und man fühlt sich überhaupt nicht beoabachtet. Uns hat es sehr Spaß gemacht, Nicole und das Service Team waren super nett! Tipp: warm anziehen, vielleicht kann man noch eine weitere Heizung anbringen.

Alors superbe idée de déjeuner dans des igloos par contre il fait frais à cause des coupures de courant reguliere ! Igloo numéro 4 ... avec un problème aussi pour mettre la musique. On s attendait à plus de chaleur dans ces boules de noel. Heureusement que des couvertures sontt prevus. E n ce qui concerne le repas .. il aurait fallu garnir plus généreusement le fromage à raclette et la viande pour la fondue ... même à volonté ... ça oblige à appeler le service constamment. Le service est professionnel et sympathique mais 59 euros par personne est très cher !
