Restaurant Olymp in Leipzig

The appetizers were great, but for my main course I had the pike-perch fillet. It was an absolute joke. They were tiny pieces, thickly breaded, even though the menu said it was fried in butter. Furthermore, the vegetables were the cheapest frozen mixed vegetables, and the advertised parsley potatoes were completely missing. Charging €20 for that is outrageous.

There's nothing to criticize. Perhaps only that we were seated very inconveniently; we had booked for 7 people, it was too cramped, and the bar was very bothersome.

We got a table right away, and the food arrived in a flash! The service was absolutely outstanding – from the greeting to the farewell. The staff were consistently very friendly and attentive. A great touch: before and after the meal, we were offered an ouzo or a delicious non-alcoholic alternative. The food was very good and, as is typical for a Greek restaurant, plentiful! One small drawback: unfortunately, there were very few vegetarian and vegan main course options. More variety would be desirable, but for lovers of traditional cuisine, it's a must! We'll definitely be back.

As always, it's incredibly delicious; you can't really go wrong. The price is also really reasonable! The staff are super accommodating and always try to anticipate every wish from the guests' lips!

The food was very salty; some of the calamari and scampi were barely edible because they were over-fried! The dessert, however, was good! ;) I'm rarely in Leipzig, so I wouldn't recommend it! Sparta in Altenburg is still number 1!! ❤️❤️❤️

The chef and staff are perfect. The food is top-notch. Very nice and always worth a visit.

It used to be better. Prices are up, portions are smaller than before, and some drinks are only 0.33l – but you can order two. No bread to start with, which is a shame. I would have liked tzatziki with the Cretan potatoes. Everything was a bit dry, unfortunately.

We were there for the first time this evening and we will definitely be back. The atmosphere is cozy, clean and you can tell you're in a Greek restaurant. The waitresses are all very nice and honestly friendly without exaggerating. Even the boss came to each table to greet the guests. The food tasted very good, it was so plentiful that we women couldn't finish it. We were immediately offered to take the rest with us and it was packaged very well. The menu is so diverse that there is something for everyone even, like in our case, for someone who doesn't like garlic. All in all it was a very nice evening, thanks to the entire team. We are always very satisfied; You are always served with a smile and a lot of sincere politeness, the food tastes very, very good and the restaurant is wonderfully comfortably furnished. If you don't finish your food, it will be packaged very hygienically and carefully so you can take it with you. Any time.

The food is not a big revelation in terms of taste. Rather average. Service was friendly, unfortunately after eating we sat a little longer in front of our empty plates even though it wasn't very full.

We found the quality of the food on offer to be very good. Everything from gyros to fish dishes was ordered. And everything tasted very good to us and our guests. We'd love to come back.

After the many good responses, we as a family were very disappointed by the oh-so-good food. The gyro was bland. Unfortunately, some of it was only lukewarm, like almost all of our dishes. It's also not appropriate to clear away dishes while others are still eating. We weren't offered a coffee or ice cream menu either. Sorry but we won't be coming back. Next time we'd rather go to the Olymp restaurant in Grimma.

A little piece of Greece in the middle of the city – Restaurant Olymp is a must! My experience at Greek Restaurant Olymp was simply exceptional. The service was first class: the staff was incredibly friendly, attentive and always there with a smile. Now to the most important part – the food! The food at Olympus is a real culinary delight. From the traditional moussaka to the perfectly grilled souvlaki skewers and the fresh seafood, everything was superbly prepared and beautifully presented. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are absolutely authentic. You can simply taste the quality and love that goes into every dish. We particularly recommend the appetizer platter, which offers a great selection of classic Greek delicacies and is ideal for sharing. Not forgetting the drinks menu, which offers a good selection of Greek wines and spirits. A glass of ouzo after dinner rounds off the evening perfectly and gives you that real holiday feeling. The price of the restaurant is absolutely fair - the quality of the food and the atmosphere are worth every cent. All in all, I can only warmly recommend the Olymp restaurant. If you are looking for authentic Greek cuisine in a great atmosphere and with excellent service, you should definitely stop by here. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Olympus!

Food was quite ok. Unfortunately, the handling was extreme for 14 of us. It started immediately after appearing with the question of drinks every 5 minutes, then immediately started eating and then it happened in quick succession. It gave the feeling that the tables were booked twice more. Unfortunately, speed isn't everything...

Food was great as usual. The only thing that bothered us was that we were laughed at when we said that we didn't want ouzo but preferred non-alcoholic. “It’s Saturday” was the answer. As a woman, I ordered non-alcoholic beer, which was also laughed at. Sorry, but that's not up to date.
