Alexandros in Leipzig

We like to come back again and again, even though we live 300 km away. It is the best Greek we know.

The food was ok. Card payment was not possible because the device apparently broke yesterday. However, we had made a reservation by phone on the same day and were not warned in advance. There was also a sign in the restaurant that stated card as a possible method of payment. When we pointed this out, we were told that a sign had been placed in front of the entrance pointing out the broken card reader. However, this sign had fallen down by the time we arrived and several other visitors had not seen it either. Very annoying.

Very nice service, the food was great and was at the table super quickly! Very nice atmosphere outside and our dog was brought water straight away :-) We'd love to come back!

Alexandros is a restaurant to recommend. It's very cozy there, the service is excellent and very friendly. The food is delicious.

I went there for a spontaneous meal with my girlfriend, coincidentally even a few minutes before it opened and they didn't turn us away, the food tasted very good, at the beginning there is of course a free ouzo as a welcome gift, if you want it, we got it straight away got the cards, I don't remember what I had but I had a little bit of everything, suflaki, liver that my girlfriend got 😅, lamb, pork, tzatziki, some salad etc. For my girlfriend it was the same as it says on the menu , it started raining after 20-30 minutes and he quickly noticed it and opened the umbrellas and moved everything around a bit, I've been there a few times and it's always nice and delicious, there are 2-3 parking spaces but I I usually drive into a side street, they are very close and you can always get a parking space or you can take tram line 16 and get off at Eutritscher Zentrum, which is about 5-6 stops after the main train station in the direction of the exhibition center and then turn left over that Street and walk to the right to the intersection, just before the intersection on the left, you can actually see it very well 😊 or from the other direction, again line 16 towards Lößnig, and from Sant Georg there are only 5-6 stops, then you should it also appears at the top of the display on the train, the previous stop is the Eutritscher Markt, that is the wrong one, many people confuse it 😅 no, get off one further at the Eutritscher Zentrum and walk to the right, then left across the street and right to the intersection and on the left it comes before the intersection ☺️ I have uploaded a picture of the entrance 😊 You don't have to make a reservation, but if you're a large group it certainly makes a lot of sense, as the Alexandros is often well attended 😃 otherwise, be hungry and have a good time 😊

Unfortunately, this restaurant has fallen into disrepair. It is incomprehensible that some dishes become more than €10 more expensive within a year (example: fillet plate from €23 to over €33), while portion sizes are reduced at the same time. The icing on the cake on our last visit was that we received a greeting Uso, the three children who were there were nothing. We were told that unfortunately there was no blue "sugar water" for the children. When we asked for an alternative, the three children were brought Uso cups each with 2 cl of red cask soda and we were charged 30 cents per child for 2 cl each. In our opinion the prices are outrageous. Luckily, there are other alternatives for eating Greek in Leipzig.

The Alexandros is quite well known and well attended in the Eutritz center. Therefore, a reservation is highly advisable. The menu offers quite well-known Greek and delicious dishes. There is also something on offer for the children. A small terrace makes dining al fresco possible. Unfortunately there is little parking space. And the prices are also in the upper middle class range. I give it 4 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Simply great. We were visiting Leipzig and stopped here after driving past some Greeks. We were very happy with everything. Whenever we are in Leipzig again, we know where we can go for a delicious Greek meal.

Food great, service even better

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The starters weren't particularly tasty and were just carelessly placed on a plate. Unfortunately the same thing with the main courses. However, the taste was quite okay. We are always willing to pay good money for a good meal, but here you unfortunately don't get the appropriate quality for the prices, which are quite overpriced even for a Greek. What should be highlighted, however, is the very friendly and competent service!

Better remembered!! Despite having a reservation, we had to wait and they were clearly looking for a place for us. Even when you entered the restaurant you were ignored by a female waitress and she didn't say hello or hello at first (only later when you were spoken to by a nice man). The place was then “fortunately” located at the toilet entrance. The order was taken quickly, but the female waiter was very unpleasant. I found a long black hair on the salad where I had already forgotten the food. As far as the main dishes were concerned, everything was okay, but it wasn't great either (I had a stomach ache that evening)! ...so I absolutely can't recommend it.

Today we ate at Alexandros again for a long time. Food is mediocre, not good and not bad. However, portions are very small and not really lovingly prepared. The price-performance ratio is not right in my opinion. Far too expensive for the portion sizes. The staff is willing and friendly, but you can tell that they are not trained staff. There are much better Greek restaurants in the area.

Very tasty food and super friendly. The lamb is particularly delicious. You can eat here very well with small children. Bonus points because the changing table is in the hallway and not in the women's toilet. It would be great if there were more vegetarian options for the main course. We always like to come back.

We always enjoy going here. Unfortunately, this time we forgot that you can only tip in cash and unfortunately we didn't have anything with us. We were very embarrassed. The food tastes great and the portions are ok. There is something for everyone and we can highly recommend the restaurant. And next time there will be twice as much tip.

Packed full, because it's close to the hotel, the portion was ok, the taste didn't blow me away, there were no typical Greek spices, but garlic was endless, if you like it...

Das ist ja wohl eine Frechheit. Haben bestellt und das Hauptgericht war wie eine Vorspeise und dafür haben wir 20€ bezahlt pro Portion. Dort zu essen empfiehlt sich eher.

Typisch griechische Küche: reichlich, gut gewürzt, schnell und freundlich. Waren ziemlich spät dort (nach 21:00), aber es war alles verfügbar.

Absolut Lecker und nur zu empfehlen!!

Heute waren wir wieder mal zum Essen da. Wieder hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war wunderbar, der Service ist super und auch das Ambiente ist schön. Ebenso ist auch das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis vollkommen in Ordnung. Der Gruß aus der Küche hat uns ebenfalls geschmeckt und war sehr aufmerksam. Vielen Dank. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Insgesamt gut, nicht außergewöhnlich. Dafür ist es mittlerweile allerdings vergleichsweise teuer geworden. Das Essen ist deutschgriechisches Standardprogramm, leider ohne gefüllte Weinblätter. Service ist freundlich und bemüht.

Super Leckeres Essen, sehr nette Bedienung, kurz gesagt, der beste Grieche der Stadt Leipzig für meinen Geschmack.

Wir gehen schon einige Jahre immer wieder gern hier her. Das Essen ist absolut top, bis hin zum einfachsten Salat oder Tomatenreis. Die Auswahl ist toll, sicher sehr fleischlastig, aber eine vegetarische Vorspeisenauswahl funktioniert auch sehr gut. Am Service gibt es nichts zu meckern. Das Ambiente ist nicht ganz meins, aber ist liebevoll. Dafür ist das Haus und die Terrasse sehr hübsch und die Lage gut.

Bombastisch!!! Vom super Essen, über den tollen und freundlichen Service, bis hin zum Ambiente. Es passt alles super und wir sind top zufrieden. Die Preise sind für die Qualität und Menge des Essens super fair. Vorspeise, Hauptgericht und kleines Dessert. Immer wieder zu empfehlen und wir gehen auf jeden Fall wieder hin. Am Essen gibt es nichts zu kritisieren.Sehr schmackhaft. Aber wenn man bei diesen Temperaturen rechts in den Raum gesetzt wird,welcher keine Heizung hat,ist das schon eine Zumutung.

Wir sind mittlerweile Stammgast bei unserem leckeren Griechen, das Essen ist der absolute Wahnsinn, die selbstgemachte Limonade schmeckt hervorragend. Wir kommen öfter und sind bisher immer vollständig zufrieden gewesen! Bester Grieche in Eutritzsch 🤩

Sehr guter Grieche im Leipziger Norden. Das Essen kam sehr schnell und war auch sehr lecker. Eine Reservierung ist zu empfehlen, da das Restaurant sehr schnell voll sein kann. Eine Empfehlung wert.
