A very nice restaurant with delicious Greek cuisine. We liked everything we ordered very much. As a vegetarian, I recommend breaded mushrooms with zaziki. We can also recommend Ouzo Teller. Very nice service. We will come back here!

There is now no “Ouzu” (Sprite) for children, which is completely incomprehensible given the assumed costs. Therefore I had to change my review from 5 to 4 stars. In 2019 we went to one of the best Greek restaurants in Leipzig with children - and that's saying something given all the competition. At Alexandros, where we have stayed for the third time now, we always feel welcome, even with our occasionally noisy children. The service is quick, the dishes are wonderfully tasty and the portions are just right. And the dishes for the children were brought along with the starter salad for the adults, which is how it should be everywhere. Unfortunately no more children's Ouzo (Sprite).

We have enjoyed coming to eat with you for many years. The service and the food were great as always. Unfortunately, today there were street musicians. Unfortunately that's not my thing, in a restaurant. Still highly recommended!

It was really nice here. Well attended and you should reserve. Food could be even better. My fish platter was very plain and the squid rings were quite thin and pale, tasted like rubber and had black burn marks which made them bitter. 🦐 and salmon fine. It's a shame 😒 We were there for the 5th time and were hoping for a breakthrough.

Went there this afternoon. The gyro pan was very tasty. The starter salad was a bit too oily for us. As desert there were small honey cinnamon dumplings a la krepelchen from the house. The service was good and the ambience was nice. Gladly again.

Unfortunately I received the wrong side dish and the service at the table was relatively rare. So you could eat in peace, but I didn't have the opportunity to order more drinks. The portion of the food I ate tasted good and the staff was friendly.

Delicious as always but very expensive...35 euros for the lamb plate, almost 5 euros for 0.3 of a drink. That's why we don't go there as often anymore

I had the pleasure of dining in a wonderful Greek restaurant that impressed me with authentic flavors and warm hospitality. The ambience is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening with friends or family. Particularly noteworthy is the variety of dishes - from fresh salads to perfectly grilled meat to delicious seafood, everything was prepared to perfection. The portions are generous and the quality of the ingredients leaves nothing to be desired. A small downside was the garlic bread, which was a bit dry. But given the abundance of delicious dishes, that was just a small side note. Overall, an absolutely recommendable restaurant that is definitely worth a visit – I would love to come back!

Today the weather was pleasant and we were able to sit outside. The first nice thing is that there is a terrace. The food was very good and arrived quickly, which was a positive surprise. Service was friendly and quick. There was even a small mini dessert at the end, which was very nice. Priced very fairly too. In the end we had a lovely evening.

We were warmly welcomed and given a small table. The service was really good and special requests were taken into account when ordering. When eating, the tomato rice wasn't the flavor, but appealed to and I got fries very quickly. The meat was very tender and flavorful. For dessert we received a greeting from the kitchen. We had a lovely evening and will be back soon.

The food was ok. Card payment was not possible because the device apparently broke yesterday. However, we had made a reservation by phone on the same day and were not warned in advance. There was also a sign in the restaurant that stated card as a possible method of payment. When we pointed this out, we were told that a sign had been placed in front of the entrance pointing out the broken card reader. However, this sign had fallen down by the time we arrived and several other visitors had not seen it either. Very annoying.

Very nice service, the food was great and was at the table super quickly! Very nice atmosphere outside and our dog was brought water straight away :-) We'd love to come back!

Alexandros is a restaurant to recommend. It's very cozy there, the service is excellent and very friendly. The food is delicious.

I went there for a spontaneous meal with my girlfriend, coincidentally even a few minutes before it opened and they didn't turn us away, the food tasted very good, at the beginning there is of course a free ouzo as a welcome gift, if you want it, we got it straight away got the cards, I don't remember what I had but I had a little bit of everything, suflaki, liver that my girlfriend got 😅, lamb, pork, tzatziki, some salad etc. For my girlfriend it was the same as it says on the menu , it started raining after 20-30 minutes and he quickly noticed it and opened the umbrellas and moved everything around a bit, I've been there a few times and it's always nice and delicious, there are 2-3 parking spaces but I I usually drive into a side street, they are very close and you can always get a parking space or you can take tram line 16 and get off at Eutritscher Zentrum, which is about 5-6 stops after the main train station in the direction of the exhibition center and then turn left over that Street and walk to the right to the intersection, just before the intersection on the left, you can actually see it very well 😊 or from the other direction, again line 16 towards Lößnig, and from Sant Georg there are only 5-6 stops, then you should it also appears at the top of the display on the train, the previous stop is the Eutritscher Markt, that is the wrong one, many people confuse it 😅 no, get off one further at the Eutritscher Zentrum and walk to the right, then left across the street and right to the intersection and on the left it comes before the intersection ☺️ I have uploaded a picture of the entrance 😊 You don't have to make a reservation, but if you're a large group it certainly makes a lot of sense, as the Alexandros is often well attended 😃 otherwise, be hungry and have a good time 😊

Unfortunately, this restaurant has fallen into disrepair. It is incomprehensible that some dishes become more than €10 more expensive within a year (example: fillet plate from €23 to over €33), while portion sizes are reduced at the same time. The icing on the cake on our last visit was that we received a greeting Uso, the three children who were there were nothing. We were told that unfortunately there was no blue "sugar water" for the children. When we asked for an alternative, the three children were brought Uso cups each with 2 cl of red cask soda and we were charged 30 cents per child for 2 cl each. In our opinion the prices are outrageous. Luckily, there are other alternatives for eating Greek in Leipzig.

The Alexandros is quite well known and well attended in the Eutritz center. Therefore, a reservation is highly advisable. The menu offers quite well-known Greek and delicious dishes. There is also something on offer for the children. A small terrace makes dining al fresco possible. Unfortunately there is little parking space. And the prices are also in the upper middle class range. I give it 4 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟

It was very nice. Table reservation went without any problems. We sat outside very well and the service was very friendly. The food was very tasty and the uzo beforehand and the honey balls at the end were great. We'll definitely come back in another round.

Simply great. We were visiting Leipzig and stopped here after driving past some Greeks. We were very happy with everything. Whenever we are in Leipzig again, we know where we can go for a delicious Greek meal.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The starters weren't particularly tasty and were just carelessly placed on a plate. Unfortunately the same thing with the main courses. However, the taste was quite okay. We are always willing to pay good money for a good meal, but here you unfortunately don't get the appropriate quality for the prices, which are quite overpriced even for a Greek. What should be highlighted, however, is the very friendly and competent service!
