Sehr gutes Essen, Salat knackig, gutes Dressing. ATHEN Teller sehr viel und super Qualität! Sehr freundliche Bedienung und Lokal sehr schön eingerichtet! Gerne mal wieder!

Wir sind spät angereist und sind deshalb spontan ohne Reservierung gekommen. Trotz vollem Restaurant bot man uns zuvorkommend einen Tisch an, mit dem Hinweis, dass uns zum Verweilen jedoch nur ein Zeitraum von einer Stunde bliebe, da weitere Gäste bereits reserviert hätten. Da uns zugesichert wurde, innerhalb von 15 Minuten ein warmes Essen zu erhalten, sind wir geblieben. Wir waren sowohl mit dem Service, als auch mit dem Essen sehr zufrieden. Auch ein kleineres Gericht, nämlich lediglich ein Souvlaki anstatt zwei wie in der Karte eingetragen, wurde uns serviert und sogar mit Abzug berechnet. Vielen Dank dafür; wir kommen gern wieder.

Sehr guter Mittagstisch. Es war sehr lecker und die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Preis-Leistung top, gerne wieder.

Nicht zu empfehlen, Essen nicht warm , schmeckt nicht und man darf dieses nicht äußern. Das Personal kann mit Kritik nicht umgehen und wird dementsprechend laut und unverschämt. Geht nicht darauf ein und kein Entgegenkommen. Nie wieder Ein Punkt nur weil es ein Pflichtfeld ist. Null Punkte von mir.

Fin restaurant med flinke medarbejdere. Vi bestilte Gyros med tzatziki, pommes frites og salat. Det hele var frisk og veltillavet, og portionerne var store, men gyros’en smagte ikke af meget. Prisen var 60% højere end i Flensborg.

Un bon restaurant grec avec une belle assiette d'assortiments végétariens avec une petite soupe en bonus offerte par la maison. Par ailleurs, les serviettes nous ont également permis de parler presque couramment le grec !!

Donnerstags, wir waren auf dem Weg ins Kino und wollten vorher (19:30 Uhr) nur etwas - einen griechischen Wein - trinken. Von über 10 Tischen waren 2 besetzt. Beim Hinsetzen sagten wir offen, wir würden nur etwas trinken wollen. Die unfreundliche und barsche Antwort: "TRINKEN VERBOTEN ohne Essen!" Was bitte ist das denn für eine Geschäftseinstellung? Leider muss ich hier wenigstens einen Punkt geben; der Eine ist aber noch zu viel!

The service is very good, the service is very quick and friendly, the outdoor area is in a beautiful location. Quality of the food is not outstanding, rather average. Food somewhat carelessly prepared. It goes very quickly if you're in a hurry it's OK!

The food is great, the service is really great and responds to your wishes and is really friendly. The only thing is you sit directly on the street in the outdoor area where some people think they have a Formula One car. But the restaurant can't do that. I'd love to come back

Alfa is an excellent Greek/Mediterranean restaurant, which I discovered last year and was very happy to return to last week – indeed on four separate occasions. Only a few minutes’ walk from my hotel, it again became my local. Wide choice of typical dishes, and an extensive wine list. Excellent service: efficient and courteous, without being over-familiar. Just right. I can’t remember why I only gave Alfa ****/***** last year. This year it’s ***** without the slightest hesitation. (But avoid Elliniki, the Greek restaurant in the centre of town. See my review.)

The food was very tasty, the portion was a bit small. The staff wasn't overly friendly, my table for 2 was very small...but I would go again if I'm back in Leipzig. I can recommend the dessert. Galaktoboureko!!!

Whenever we are in Leipzig, we make a reservation in the Alfa, it's a tradition. This time we were again very pleasantly surprised. Very short waiting time if the reserved table is not ready yet. Fast, super-friendly service, food impeccable as always, if you have an extra request, it will be taken into account. We can only thank you again and again for your hospitality and look forward to the next time. Please always reserve a table!

Overrated mediocre food with ok service. Food is as standard as in every Greek restaurant, nothing special. Prices are a bit high. Service is unflexible, no chance to change things. It’s not worth going there.

A very good restaurant, staff very friendly, food very good. There were five of us here, two adults, three children. Attention: the children's corner that is mentioned on the website does not exist - but in my opinion it's not a bad thing. Toilets were fine and clean. You should reserve a table in advance, as it quickly gets very full after 5:00 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. (at least on Saturdays). The price has gone up extremely. Gladly again.

I went there spontaneously for lunch today and had free choice of seating. The gyros were very tasty, but unfortunately not quite hot. There were also thinly sliced ​​red onions, which I personally like as they are not as spicy as the yellow ones. The fries were fried super crispy and still very hot. The tzatziki was tasty, but extremely garlicky. At the end there was an ouzo on the house. The service was always attentive and very friendly during my visit. Overall, a recommendation: for €11.90 as lunch, a clear A. I honestly don't know if I would otherwise spend €19.90 on it.

Very nice restaurant. There were 15 people there and all the food came at the same time and everyone enjoyed it. The waiter often came to us and always made sure the glasses were full :)

We booked online due to the distance. The time window for eating is 2 hours. For us it was enough with a starter, main course and a bottle of wine. We were greeted and served extremely politely. My wishes regarding the small peppers were immediately brought to the table. It's worth eating here and reservations are recommended.

A very nice evening in Leipzig with a visit to the Alfa. The food came quickly, we had fillet tips in cheese sauce and gyros in cream sauce with champions. All very tasty. The dervice was very attentive. Only the narrow paths and sitting directly on the paths were a bit oppressive. But you can overlook that. Thank you very much for a successful evening

We had the best greek food here in Leipzig. The food looks a bit highly priced (maincourses priced at 25-30€) but worth the quality. Portions are generous and filling. The service was also great. We order pita with Tzatziki , samos teller (pfane) with mextaxa sauce, chicken in cream sauce ( amazing) and some other others. We were very happy with the food and would surely recommend this restaurant.

Food was fresh and good. Price performance is not quite right

We were here last night. A friend of mine has already been to this restaurant with her colleagues and was very satisfied. That's why she recommended it to me for celebrations. We both decided to celebrate Women's Day there. But yesterday everything went wrong. The food was mediocre. The service was terrible. The attitude of the staff was disrespectful, even though we didn't give any reason for it. When the other guests paid, each woman received a rose. Me and my girlfriend didn't get any. I imagine the staff simply forgot about it, but combined with everything we had experienced here earlier that evening, it was consistent with previous behavior. The whole evening was ruined. The friend was very upset and disappointed. I was really shocked by the whole situation, desperate and, of course, angry. We will not be coming back to this restaurant and recommend that all of our friends stay away.

We were lucky and spontaneously got a table. We're not from Leipzig, but we've read the great reviews here online. The food was really unique, the meat was super tender and well seasoned. The service was also great. When we come back to Leipzig, we want to come back to eat.

The restaurant makes a well-kept impression. Everything is kept very bright. Despite the ventilation, which is mentioned everywhere, I found it a bit stuffy. It was nice that the door opened and fresh air came in. The staff is friendly and responds to meal requests. However, it happened that evening that we had to wait longer. Be it when ordering between the starter and the main course or then the bill. Somehow we had the impression that it was a work-out. In between we didn't even ask if everything was good or if there was anything else we wanted. We asked about it ourselves. The meal was okay. Personally, the salad with the meal was too oily for me, but that's a matter of taste. Everyone likes it differently. Overall, the restaurant is recommended.

We were now having lunch as part of a city tour. The location is very nice, the food was also delicious. Only the waiter was very reserved, which put a damper on the visit here.

Nothing special. You sit with others like on a chicken ladder. No big portions, just big prices. Disappointing. Not again.

As always, we were completely satisfied with everything. - friendly, professional service - Food to complete satisfaction (starter: fried zucchini, with tzatziki; main courses with salad plate; Kotopoulo Tigani; Athens plate, everything very plentiful and tasty. Price/performance ok! What we didn't manage was packed for us. Afterwards we enjoyed Greek coffee for dessert (baklava; chocolate souffle), which was celebrated by the man of the house. Thank you for the pleasant stay. We would like to come again:-).

We made reservations and came with 20 people. The reviews on Google have set expectations very high. 4.8 stars are rare. We weren't disappointed. Everything went quickly and professionally. At one point or another in the meal it may only be four stars, but overall it remains at 5 points. Keep it up... Thank you for the delicious meal in such a large group.

Während unseres Städte-Trips haben wir das Alfa in Leipzig besucht. Sowohl die Vorspeise (Champignons mit einer Käsesoße) als auch der vegetarische Teller u.a. mit Salat, Halloumi und Knoblauchbrot als auch das Gyros waren super lecker (mein Mann sagt er habe noch nie so gutes Gyros-Fleisch gegessen). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Dieses Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen.

There are simply no words to describe this lil haven of tranquility , hospitality and simply amazing food . The ambience is just what everyone needs . The food is fresh and cooked to order by the most amazing chef and served by a wonderful lady . We have been there several times and always want to return.

Ohne Reservierung noch einen Platz ergattert. Essen kam zügig und war sehr lecker. Vor dem Essen ein Ouzo, nachher gab es auch noch einen. Das Essen war reichlich. Die Bedienungen waren alle sehr nett und aufmerksam. Macht weiter so ***** PS: Wir hatten Nr. 50 Gyroteller und Nr. 30 Gyros-Salat

Top Lage, freundlicher Service, durchschnittliches Essen

Wir waren am 9.12.23 das erst Mal im Lokal von der ersten Minute bis zu dem Zeitpunkt als wir gegangen sind haben wir uns wohlgefühlt. Der Service war absolut Top . Fazit wenn wir wieder in Leipzig sind werden wir das Alfa auf jeden Fall wieder auf Suchen
