Absolutely worth a visit: we had delicious food, received very friendly service, and the ambiance with the view of the Haffkrug pier was beautiful. We were absolutely thrilled.

We've been here twice: once for breakfast and yesterday for dinner. The service is very nice and friendly. You feel very welcome thanks to the service and the authentic, beautiful ambiance. We were very satisfied with both breakfast and dinner. We had cod with fried potatoes. The fish was very fresh and perfectly cooked. The sauce was very well seasoned and, to my delight, was served separately.

We were lucky and got a spot outside on the terrace in the sun. A very clean restaurant, centrally located. We had delicious plum cake and cappuccino. Highly recommended!

We were guests on the first day of our vacation. The drinks were served to the table in divided portions. The bottle of wine arrived a quarter of an hour after all the other drinks. It wasn't possible to toast together. The fish was consistently of good quality. Unfortunately, the preparation that evening left a lot to be desired. Everyone at the table had to add more salt, and that doesn't really give it a good flavor. On top of that, we waited almost 1.5 hours for our food. Other guests around us arrived later and paid before we got our food. It was a shame about the first evening. We won't be coming back. At Gosch, you get a decent amount of food with great quality and fair prices. Disappointing.

Great, with a view of the Baltic Sea

Right on the pier, with a beautiful view of the bay. The cakes and fish sandwiches were delicious, but the coffee was unfortunately too little for the price. It's a shame you can't share the pot of coffee between two people. The staff could have been friendlier.

Yesterday was our first time at a restaurant with a baby for our wedding anniversary. What can I say? Everyone was super friendly, and I think it was actually the chef who came personally to escort us to our table and was incredibly personable, which suited my sense of humor. Despite the terrace and restaurant being full, the food was served quickly and was incredibly delicious. We actually wanted dessert, but there wasn't enough time. We'll save that for next time. The view of the Baltic Sea was breathtaking. A successful wedding day.

Nice place with above average selection of fish dishes and meat options as well. I had cod with dijon sauce and it was OK. Burgers looked nice. Good value for the money and above average service with the smile.

Our 27-year-old waiter made advances to an underage girl. He asked for her number, poured her an ice cream, constantly looked at us and winked, and asked when I'd turn 18?? It made my experience extremely unpleasant. I don't recommend it! The manager wasn't interested either.

We wanted to enjoy delicious fish today and chose this restaurant. This was a huge mistake. The bartender was so drunk he was yelling. We were shown to our table with the words, "We need to order quickly, the kitchen is closing soon." The relaxation vanished... Nothing happened for 15 minutes... no service, no waiters, just the bartender yelling... and glasses were flying on the floor every few minutes. After ordering, things moved quickly. Well, after the waitress prepared the drinks, since the bartender, drunk as he was, apparently didn't feel like it and was busy drinking wheat beer. We got our food: stale boiled potatoes, arugula and tomato salad (1) drowned in dressing, and a fish that was fried to death... Absolutely terrible value for money!!! Last but not least, the bartender took a swig straight from a bottle of spirits... that was the point for us to leave. Simply disgusting!!!!

Very nice restaurant. We waited a bit for service (about 15-20 minutes) but the service was nice and the food came quickly. The view is beautiful, the atmosphere is nice, the food is very good, but a bit too much mayonnaise in one dish, it was a bit heavier.. The herring was delicious!

1 star for the snack bar! The "dishes" were all fried. The prawns over €10 were simply fried and served with aioli. That's it. Nothing. No fries, no bread, not even a decorative lettuce leaf. The currywurst was also fried. No curry powder. Not sliced. The fish for the fish sandwiches came from a plastic bucket. What a shame...

We went to the snack bar next to the restaurant. The staff were super friendly, quick, and really nice. The fish sandwiches were truly delicious, fresh, and worth the price. Thank you so much. We'd love to come back again.

I had a salad and can highly recommend the restaurant. Everything was excellent.

The location is still top-notch. But the value for money of the food is unfortunately no longer there: The portions have become increasingly smaller, and the prices have continued to rise. Now, even the ketchup on fries for kids' meals is charged extra. The quality of the food also can't keep up with the price increases. Service is okay, though. For coffee and cake, it's still a definite recommendation.

The food was okay, but not worth the price. No one asked how we liked the food or if we needed anything. The waitress was very busy, so we had to wait 20 minutes for our bill. We didn't see a server in the meantime. We won't be back.

The price-performance ratio was rather poor. Small portions for a lot of money. Fried potatoes were labeled with preservatives. My family enjoyed the currywurst. I chose the fried plaice because it didn't have a gluten label. Unfortunately, it arrived breaded. Not good for me, as I have to eat gluten-free. A shame. The atmosphere is nice, the service was OK.

We had lunch there twice. Two adults and a child. The prices were a bit high, but the quality was very good! The service was excellent, and there were books and art supplies available for our 3-year-old child. For dessert, we had the homemade cake, highly recommended!

Stylishly packaged, but the taste was a total disappointment. The fish was completely bland, and this in a shop that wants to appear "upscale." Less than 300 meters away, you can find the same roll in better quality and cheaper. Next time, I'll go straight there.

A very nice place for a restaurant. We really liked the location and the ambiance. Unfortunately, the service and food weren't entirely convincing. The service seemed stressed and unappealing, which was particularly noticeable when ordering. There was hardly any time to quietly examine the menu. The beef burger was cooked all the way through. With a beef burger, I would have expected to be asked how it was done. The potato chips served with it were unfortunately cold and therefore barely edible. Upon request, they offered to microwave the plate briefly – at €20, I would have expected higher quality and more care. The fish dish (plaice) was also rather disappointing: Although it was fried in butter, it was unseasoned. A fish knife was not provided. In addition, the restaurant was very poorly ventilated, which negatively impacted the overall experience – the room was noticeably too warm and stuffy.

On my scooter tour to Kellenhusen, I ate a delicious fish sandwich on both the way there and back. I can only recommend it. Very nice service 😉

A dark-haired waitress was somewhat unfriendly. He pulled a stupid face as he walked past me, and if my food hadn't just arrived, I would have gotten up and left. So unfriendly... but the waitress, a woman, was very friendly (hence two stars for the service).

It's a great place to sit and people-watch. The food is okay. We had the Caesar salad, though. I can't recommend it. The dressing is more like a ready-made yogurt dressing from a bottle. It doesn't taste good at all. We told the server, but there was no apology. We probably wouldn't go back.

The restaurant, located directly on the Haftkrug pier, has a great atmosphere. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the proximity to the beach outside. The staff is friendly. The food selection is limited and, as is the case with most tourist areas by the sea, not exactly cheap. The currywurst with fried potatoes for €16.00 was very tasty, though.

Coffee & cake. The apple pie is outstanding and truly homemade. It's okay if it costs a bit more than at the bakery across the street. The service is fun.

Great view...the menu looked interesting...lively atmosphere—but unfortunately, we weren't served. Three tables that arrived after us were served. At our beckoning, the waiter came and "cheerfully" cleared half of our table. He also said he'd be right back. We asked him to bring an ashtray on the way back. "Sure," he said. When we'd finished smoking, we got ourselves one and left. Service? Hmm—I don't think there was any service.

Today, after our bike ride, we decided to eat there, and I have to say, with so many options to choose from, we chose exactly the right restaurant. I had the herring with fried potatoes, and my wife had the burger. Both were simply fantastic and clearly worthy of 5 stars. Plus, a Köpi beer and friendly service—you don't need anything more. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

This restaurant completely won me over! The dishes were consistently delicious, lovingly prepared, and tasted excellent. The portions were just right—neither too small nor overly generous, but perfectly balanced. I would especially like to emphasize the friendly and attentive service. The waitresses were warm and professional. A real highlight is the magnificent view of the sea, which makes dining a truly special experience. The (winter) terrace is cozy and offers a magnificent view. Conclusion: If you want to enjoy good food in a relaxed atmosphere with a sea view, this is the place for you. I would love to come back!

Long waiting times for beer (18 minutes) and later food (40 minutes) even though it is not that crowded. For the money it's a disgrace!! Burgers totally flabby and dry as well as the fried potatoes. The sauce tastes sour. In the burger just some lettuce and a small thick cucumber. They want €20 for that! The seating also looks dirty. Never eaten so bad and so expensive. When we brought it up there was no apology, we were just brushed off with the words "I'll pass it on", which they don't do anyway. 2 stars for friendliness and beach chair space.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Hundefreundlichkeit: Unser Vierbeiner wurde sofort mit frischem Wasser und sogar einem kleinen Leckerli begrüßt. Es ist selten, dass Hunde so willkommen sind, und das hat unseren Besuch umso angenehmer gemacht. Und dann das Essen – einfach fantastisch! Die Zutaten waren frisch, die Gerichte mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet und geschmacklich ein echtes Highlight. Hier wird Qualität großgeschrieben! Dazu kam eine hervorragende Weinauswahl, bei der uns die Bedienung mit viel Fachwissen und Feingefühl beraten hat. Der empfohlene Wein passte perfekt zu unseren Speisen und hat das Geschmackserlebnis noch einmal abgerundet. Ein absolutes Muss für alle, die exzellenten Service, großartige Küche, eine hervorragende Weinauswahl und eine hundefreundliche Atmosphäre zu schätzen wissen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

It always seems brighter here, it's expensive, it never tastes bad here, but it could easily be better.

The "new" owner seems good. We were there for coffee and cake. We redesigned the winter garden...we really liked it. The cake was super delicious...the coffee too. I just don't understand why people are hanging on to pots there. The second cup of coffee is usually lukewarm. Cup of coffee and it's good.

Been there for the first time, and definitely not the last. Highly recommended.

Just sat outside, despite the cold, but with a blanket and a heater it was very bearable. I had shrimp Spanish style (i.e. gambas pil-pil) with aioli and both were in no way inferior to the Spanish original. Plus a real North German mulled wine with a shot - someone should imitate us first. 😂 Service was also great - we chose it as our new favorite restaurant on the Baltic Sea. However, we're just starting our pier tour, so let's see whether Oceans stays in first place until the end of the season.

Very friendly staff. Restaurant with a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Very nice view of the Baltic Sea beach and pier. Unfortunately, on New Year's Eve the price-performance ratio for the evening menu was not right (significantly too expensive). Therefore only 3 stars for food. We'll still come back because we were otherwise always satisfied (coffee, cake, etc.).

We ate here several times during our stay. Every time we received friendly and professional service. Partly with typical North German humor. That's not rude, it's direct and completely okay! The food is always on point and completely sufficient. Price-performance ratio is definitely right here. The wine selection is also designed for everyone. We would love to come back!

We had dinner in the restaurant on New Year's Eve and had cod with fried potatoes. The location is excellent. You can see the Baltic Sea and the new pier while eating. The service is professional and friendly, starting with the reservation.

We were here spontaneously today and can't recommend it, at least for coffee and cake... the hot cocoa was prepared with water, with the tea the tea bag was already put into the hot water, which is not so good with black tea and the latte macchiato The cream was only lightly whipped and not served with a nice, firm foam. The waffle with hot cherries is perfectly fine, but the cake is not necessarily recommended. The only thing to recommend is the view...

Beautifully located, directly at the Haffkrug pier. We had a fish soup with tomatoes, which was okay. The staff was super nice, dogs are also welcome.
