It's a shame that the opening times aren't right. Were there today (7.11.24) at 6 p.m. and it was closed, according to the website and notice on the restaurant it should be open...

Super tasty pancakes, the service was very attentive and super friendly. We'd love to come back next time.

Every year we come from Bavaria (Kaufbeuren) to eat here because they are simply the best pancakes ever. It was once again super tasty and very nice. For everyone who believes pancakes can't fill you up and are addictive, you haven't been to the pancake house yet. Every year again. :)

Very cozy restaurant. The selection of pancakes is large. The portions are very large and everything is very tasty. It's definitely worth a visit.

It was a very nice reception! My little nephew immediately received crayons and a coloring book, as well as children's cutlery. The food was great. Lots of choice and very, very tasty! The boss and the service staff were very nice and in a good mood! We'll definitely come back again!

We made a reservation there with 6 friends and got a great place. Everything was wonderfully uncomplicated and exceptionally nice. The waitress gave us wonderful advice on drinks and food. All in all, more than a successful final meal for our vacation! We were very warmly welcomed when we made the reservation, dogs are also welcome both outside and inside. We had great service, very friendly and super funny! The selection of pancakes is large, there are some savory and sweet combinations, there is something for everyone. Absolutely recommended!

The pancakes were ok, but you can't go wrong with them either. However, the service was so subpar that it almost seemed comical. I have rarely felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant. Hitting your thumb with a hammer all evening might be more pleasant.

Will only come out of season in the future. Unfortunately, on our last visit we only had mediocre food (tough meat, watery cream sauce, pancakes that were a bit too dark) after a long wait before we even got a menu. The drinks arrived after a long delay. We weren't even served until 30 minutes after we arrived. The service itself was obviously very overwhelmed, which is why its friendliness left a lot to be desired. We were able to observe how guests who had reserved had to wait 20 minutes for a seat. No comparison to the off-season visit. The food has always been great and the service has been very good too. So the restaurant obviously doesn't cope well with many guests...

We decided to visit the pancake house today because of the many positive reviews, but unfortunately we were disappointed. The pancakes – both savory and sweet – were consistently very greasy. While the sweet versions had a convincing taste despite their greasiness, we felt that the savory pancakes lacked the necessary sophistication. Unfortunately, overall the experience did not meet our expectations.

We were very disappointed with the pancake house in Scharbeutz. I would prefer to put a minus in front of the stars. The service was unfriendly (other guests also noticed that they found the service unfriendly) and the food was very bad and the price for the ingredients was not justified. Starter: Leek soup (firm spring onions instead of leeks/puree, no fresh potatoes, taste rather sour, the consistency rather soggy, not even bread with it) Main course: Farmer's pancakes (potatoes TOTALLY over-salted and over-seasoned, pancakes floating in oil). I informed the waitress during the meal that I couldn't eat it because it was way too salty. Except for the pancake, which was okay, the ingredients weren't really fresh. Nevertheless, we cheekily paid the full price for this meal. Pancake House never, ever again. I can still taste the salt and it's been almost 2 hours since dinner

In my opinion the worst thing Scharbeutz has to offer, starter was garlic roll with sour cream. The discounter baked rolls...well if there had been at least a trace of garlic with the tasteless sour cream. I don't want to go on about my wife's starter...leek soup or something like that because I'm on vacation and don't want to write a bad cookbook about how not to do it, but personally I would have left it after the first spoonful. My main meal, pancakes with gyros, was so spicy, I like to eat spicy food but then it tastes good, but here it seemed to me as if they wanted to give the frozen gyros some kind of direction with all the spices that are available in the kitchen what the herb garden produces. Apparently the classic that is always well received here, probably with the seagulls who eat everything here. The only thing I would take again is the coloring book for the children. My wife's meal of the farmer's pancakes was so salty that even I could tell with my swollen tongue. Unfortunately there was no way of looking at the bill, €80 for 3 people is a lot for that. It may be that the sweet versions work, but they are 10x better and cheaper down the street. I'll just say never again.

I can only recommend the pancake house! From the ambience to the service and of course the food, everything was great! The savory and sweet pancakes are all very tasty and beautifully presented. The eye eats here too. I can really recommend a visit to everyone. Here you just feel comfortable and you can enjoy your food in a beautiful atmosphere. We'd love to come back! See you soon

All in all, the food was good. Service was initially very good, but then turned into more than satisfactory. After reminding us several times that we wanted to pay, no one was there for us, so we went to the counter ourselves. We found a selection of tips that we would like to give stupid. If I want to tip, I do it out of conviction and not because I have to. When asked to print out a receipt, the answer was that more trees could be felled. That is not how it works. Everyone can decide for themselves, but we won't be going there again.

We went to this restaurant with too high expectations. Just being welcomed by the older lady would have been a reason to go back! When we were assigned a seat, a very friendly waitress came and quickly served us something to drink after handing over the menus. I think we waited a really long time for the food we ordered. When we received the plates with our menus at the same time, we found it to be beautifully presented. The food was okay, but to be honest I was missing a bit more pizzazz. You can give it 3 stars, but nothing more. I found it annoying that the actually very nice waitress asked for a Google rating at almost every table. What I rate is up to me! And do I have to give 5 stars for a restaurant that in my opinion doesn't deserve more than 3 stars?

Great restaurant! Really recommended! But reservation is better... We ordered pancakes and, just like back then, they are very tasty....the service in particular has to be praised, the little lady ;-) runs like speedy con sales, from table to table to please everyone! Wir waren mit 3 Personen hier essen. 2 Erwachsene und ein 2 jähriger. Mein Sohn kann schon gut was verputzten wenn es lecker ist aber wir mussten für ihn eine Erwachseneportion bestellen. Eine Kinderkarte gibt es nicht. Das Essen selber ist lecker und eine ganz andere Idee. Aber nach drei Hauptspeisen und zwei Nachtischen + 3 Getränken eine Rechnung von 83,60 € präsentiert zu bekommen, fand ich schon krass. Selbst das Leitungswasser für den Lütten wurde mit 3 € berechnet. Rundherum: Bedienung ist nett, Lokalität ist super( auch Lage) Fazit: Für ein schnelles Mittagsessen immer gut und etwas anderes aber für mehr reicht es nicht. PS: Das Ec-Gerät weißt nun Trinkgeld aus. Man kann eine schnellwahl von 15-30% drücken oder eben manuell eingeben.

We were there on March 9, 2024. The food was delicious and we received a warm welcome. We have never felt so welcome in a restaurant with a toddler. I didn't know savory pancakes could be so delicious. I can only recommend Italian Style. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back :)

Wir waren heute (09.03.24) zum Abendessen hier. Das Essen war sehr lecker hatten deftige sowie süße Pfannkuchen. Mussten nicht lange warten. Hat ordentlich satt und glücklich gemacht. Besonders hervorzuheben möchte ich den Service. Ich habe mich noch nie so wohl und entspannt gefühlt. Wir waren mit einem 2,5 jährigen kleinen Wirbelwind essen. Er wurde von vorne bis hinten verwöhnt. Kinderbücher, malen und ein Blick in die Küche. Alles war dabei. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Danke nochmal das wir so toll aufgenommen wurden.

The saying “It is rumored that our pancakes are the answer to Italian pizza” is justified and in our opinion it is worth a visit. Cons: - First we noticed how the business owner beat up his mother before the business started. She is presumptuous, cross-border and should leave the restaurant immediately. Whether his words to her were justified or not is not for me to judge. However, this behavior in front of customers was not professional. - Finally, the shop owner came to our table to warn us to immediately take away our daughter's cell phone. A) I don't just take anything away from my daughter. Then I shouldn't be surprised if she does the same thing later. B) Of course his core statement is absolutely correct, that children, especially small children, do not need media. I actually agree with him on that. C) In order to function well and balanced 24/7 as a parent, to meet the child on an equal footing and to lovingly accompany them through all emotional storms, they also need their own well-regulated nervous system. That wasn't ours today for various reasons. And if we then decide that, for once, we want to finish eating in peace and allow our child to watch Peppa Pig, then that's OK! Not because media is OK for children, but because we are only human. It is better to take such measures - carefully measured - than to do worse things with a dysregulated nervous system (such as, in the case of the business owner, attacking customers instead of sweeping up on their own front door first). And last but not least D) It's simply none of his business. Our kid. Our decisions. It was certainly well-intentioned on his part, but that's not his business. In summary, I can say: If the business owner stays true to his core competence, then the visit is definitely worthwhile and delicious! However, if he continues to behave presumptuously and cross-border (Fun fact: that's exactly what he previously accused his mother of, but doesn't act any better himself) and takes out his own frustration on customers, such a - actually great - visit to a restaurant can end up being one become a flop. However, I am professional enough not to question the entire visit to the restaurant and therefore only deduct one star from my rating because everything else was really very good.

Highly recommended if you want to eat delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. Great music and warm service like I haven't experienced in a long time. We'd love to come back :-)

Great place! Fantastic staff! The pancakes were super tasty and there was plenty to choose from, there was really something for everyone. In addition, the service staff was absolutely friendly, courteous and totally open-minded. The nice waitress was also very child-friendly and our kids felt very comfortable. Nothing was missing! The two of us and our four-legged friends received a very warm welcome. There is a variety of pancakes in all variations. We had the one with medallions that were on point and very delicate. The service was on point and there was a nice chat to be had. It wasn't our last visit. The furnishings are rustic but very cozy and you feel comfortable.

Minimalistisch angerichtete Pfannkuchen werden vom unfreundlichen Personal an der Straße serviert.

Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren immer wieder gern her. Eine Frage jedoch: Haben sich die Öffnungszeiten geändert? Wir haben nun zweimal vor verschlossener Tür gestanden - nach 17 Uhr.

Es war einfach nur lecker wie schon vor 8 Jahren. Mal was anderes zu den üblichen Restaurants. Nette Bedienung und guter Service. Schön das es dieses Restaurant noch gibt und hoffentlich noch lange geben wird.

Jedes Jahr aufs neue gehört das Pfannkuchenhaus zu unseren Highlights in Scharbeutz. Das Essen ist einfach klasse und auch die Preise stimmen. Man sitzt sehr gemütlich und kuschelig, nach einem langen Oktobertag am Strand genau das Richtige. Pfannkuchen mal etwas anders! Auf der Speisekarte ist unseres Erachtens für jeden etwas dabei! Ob Fleisch, Fisch, Gemüse oder rein vegetarisch! Ob süß oder herzhaft! Lecker zubereitet! Service freundlich und zuvorkommend! Wir können ein Einkehren nur empfehlen!

Urige Gaststätte mit witzigen Personal. War wirklich ein schöner kurzweiliger Abend. Uns persönlich fehlte die Dessert-Karte, aber haben uns stattdessen noch süße Pfannkuchen bestellt. Waren auf jeden Fall lecker und nett angerichtet. Nur wurde uns schon sehr das Gefühl gegeben, dass das Trinkgeld zu wenig war. Ab da war es mit Nettigkeiten vorbei...

Wir hatten einen schönen Platz am Fenster. Es war eine nette Atmosphäre im Restaurant und wir wurden gut und freundlich bedient. Die Pfannkuchen sind lecker und haben unsere Erwartungen erfüllt.

Sinnvoll überschaubare Speisekarte, die auf das Wesentliche, nämlich Pfannkuchen in ca. 20 Varianten, reduziert ist. Gute und frische Küche. Hier findet jede:r was!

Ich habe schon ewig nach einem Restaurant gesucht, in dem schlicht und einfach gute, raffinierte und hausgemachte Pfannkuchen angeboten werden - hier habe ich es endlich gefunden! In rustikalem aber ausgesprochen gepflegtem Ambiente, das eine warme und gemütliche Stimmung verbreitet, hatten wir leckere Eierpfannkuchen, süß wie auch herzhaft. Der Teller wird bodenständig und liebevoll angerichtet, die Portionen sind ordentlich (bis groß - ich für meinen Teil musste leider ein klein bisschen liegen lassen) und die Preise absolut angemessen. Es findet sich für jeden Geschmack eine Pfannkuchen-Variante und die ausgesprochen freundliche Servicekraft konnte uns auf Nachfrage auch einiges über das Lokal, den Ort und den hauseigenen Schnaps (Honig-Sanddorn) berichten. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! :)

Angefangen vom Service über die Location und bis zu den Speisen war alles prima. Es gibt sehr viele verschiedene Varianten, die für jeden Geschmack etwas bieten!

Sehr freundlicher Service. Wir waren an einem Abend dort, an dem krankheitsbedingt Personal ausgefallen ist. Dies wurde transparent und freundlich kommuniziert. Das Essen war von sehr guter Qualität und es sind 2 tolle Biere am Hahn.

Wir waren das erste Mal im Pfannkuchenhaus und es hat uns gut gefallen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung sehr zuvorkommend. Wir werden bestimmt wieder hingehen. Nur leider ist der Urlaub für dieses Jahr vorbei.

Ich fahre regelmäßig mit meinen Kindern nach Scharbeutz und auch gehen wir immer ins Pfannekuchenhaus. Dort fühlen wir uns immer wohl und willkommen. Das Essen ist super, das Personal sehr freundlich und das Ambiente sehr gemütlich. Was auch sehr empfehlenswert ist, ist Haukes Dünenfeger. Es handelt sich um einen Sanddorn-Honig- Likör, der ohne chemischen Zusätzen hergestellt wird und auch einen eigenen Geschmack hat. Allerdings total lecker. Ich nehme immer eine Flasche, als mitbringsel nach Hause und verschenke diesen an nur besonderen Menschen. Den gibt es leider auch nur im Pfannkuchen Haus zu kaufen. Schade dass ich davon kein Bild posten kann. .

Neben dem guten und frischen Salat, der uns als Vorspeise diente, waren unsere Hauptgerichte von ausgezeichneter Qualität. Lecker, heiß, frisch. Dazu ein sehr persönlicher und zuvorkommender Service - trotz Trubel und starker Auslastung. Reservierung dringend empfohlen. Auch wenn alle Tische und Stühle in Bewegung gesetzt werden, um auch ohne Reservierung in den Genuß der Pfannkuchen zu kommen. Hunde sind ebenfalls willkommen.
