Ate a very tasty sushi in a very nice atmosphere.

We only ate salad. Everything was tasty. Highly recommended.

Super tasty and if you wish you can also have cocoa with a shot although not on the menu, thank you!! And the top curry sausage comes with a lot of fries, so it's worth the price!!

Was ist hier passiert? Nach einem enttäuschenden Mittagessen ein zweiter Versuch am Abend mit Freunden. Surf and Turf so scharf dass man es kaum essen kann, gebratener Lachs trocken, Keller ohne Ahnung vom Wein mit dem Hinweis als der bestellte Wein nicht mehr vorrätig war , vielleicht den, den trinken viele… weiß aber nicht wie der schmeckt…. Wir haben nach dem Besuch gerochen wie nach dem Besuch einer Frittenbude. Bitte macht nicht das schöne Hamptons kaputt

One can only say fantastic about the food

We have been coming to the Hamptons every time we visit the Baltic Sea for years and were not disappointed this time either. From shrimp to chicken, from sushi to panfish - everything is fresh, tasty and prepared with a twist. The selection of drinks probably fulfills most wishes and the ambience is really nice and harmonious. The courteous, brisk service is particularly noteworthy: Sarah and her colleagues pampered us this evening; But even before that we were always satisfied. Until next time, we look forward to it!

As a Holsteiner, I have often walked past here and often thought that I should try it... but you don't have to. In short - the food, in this case a currywurst, came very quickly... so fast that there wasn't even anything to drink... that came later, when asked, without carbonation... (with a soft drink)... . with the currywurst... not cooked and the taste... I left it there. Aaaabeer the fries were great... the way you were greeted at the reception... yeah, that's what it was like... sobering. The store wants to appear upscale. But unfortunately you don't feel any of it. Not recommended at all.

To so many good recessions, what else can we add that hasn't already been said? We always enjoy coming here. And that is perhaps the special moment that we would like to highlight in our recession. The Hamptons team always makes sure that we feel very comfortable here. During the main season, when it is busy and sometimes tiring for the team, as well as in the winter when things are quieter. The service and kitchen always make a lot of effort to offer guests good food in a nice atmosphere. We have never had a bad experience so far. We enjoy sitting spontaneously in the open terrace area just as much as inside in the restaurant, but then it's better with a reservation. We like the summer in the Hamptons and the beautifully designed outdoor area just as much as the winter, indoors in the cozy, elegant restaurant area. Even the toilets here are worth a visit! :) Not only do we love eating sushi here, we also love the Hamptons sandwich, which is really something special and which we have only ever eaten here. But we always tried something different and were always satisfied and happy. The really only downer is perhaps that we've never been able to get a spot outside on the beach. A few more seating options there on the sand, that would be our wish for the next summer season! See you soon dear Hamptons team!

Hey guys... I was there with my girlfriend. It was supposed to be our last evening of a great trip and I not only can but I have to say that this evening was very special for us. Not only was my request (best table with a view) taken into account, but the team and the food are also particularly noteworthy. The ambience is beyond question and absolutely speaks for itself. It was an unforgettable and perfect evening for us and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this evening unforgettable 🙏🏽 Absolute recommendation and should be on the list of anyone who is even remotely close by 😉 VG….Stefano & Bella

Es war mal wieder ein toller Abend im Hamptons. Super Essen, super Bedienung und traumhafter Blick aus Meer! Danke!

We reserved just a few hours in advance and wrote in the note whether we could still get a window seat. We came there and were seated directly at the window, so our request was honored, even though we came at very short notice. Service was very approachable and involved a lot of chatting, to my mother's delight. The food was very tasty, the view was wonderful, which means the prices are completely justified. There are also disabled toilets that are easily accessible. Very pleasant experience!

I only saw it from outside, from the beach. There is something special about the turquoise “four poster beds”, but in reality they are a bit rancid. I laid down in one and it was damp and smelled like beer. There were empty glasses and bottles everywhere. It looks nicer on Instagram than it is in reality. There was a celebration there that day (9/21/24), apparently only for younger people.

Der Blick auf die Ostsee ist eine Wucht, der Laden nett und modern eingerichtet. Wir waren zu Dritt und in der Reservierung war als Anlass Geburtstag angegeben, es gab einige Restaurants die darauf eingegangen sind mit einer kleinen Überraschung, meist beim Dessert oder einem Glückwunsch bei der Begrüßung. Hier nicht. Das Essen war handwerklich und geschmacklich gut, ich hatte das Lammkarree bestellt, es kamen 4 kleine Kotelettes. Meine Begleitung war zufrieden mit dem Essen, ich hätte mir etwas gemüsiges als Beilage gewünscht, was aber nicht angekündigt war. Das Dessert war gut. Leider wurde der Grauburgunder viel zu warm serviert und erst das zweite Glas war einigermaßen mit richtiger Temperatur dank Weinkühler mit Eis. Der Service war gut, aber auch nicht viel mehr. Mein Fazit ist dass ich mit ähnlich guter Lage am Wasser und in ähnlichem Ambiente schon mehr bekommen habe für vergleichbar viel Geld. ich würde trotzdem wieder hingehen und das Sushi testen, auch wenn ich das mit ca € 20,- pro Rolle ambitioniert finde.

What can I say… we spontaneously went to lunch last week. This time I ordered beef tartare instead of susih. But when this was brought to me and a friend, we were amazed. He gave the snack back immediately and I gave it back after 3-4 bites. Be it visually or taste-wise. Unfortunately, people said... that's how it is and others love it that way. Ok... sad that they didn't accommodate me. Funny… others around me also thought the same way I did. Then just like that… and never Hamptons again

The rack of lamb was of excellent quality and the green beans were cooked to perfection. It was a taste experience. Highly recommended.

Der Reservierungsservice funktioniert gut. Man wird freundlich begrüßt und das Personal, zuvorderst der Restaurantleiter, ist professionell, umsichtig und exzellent geschult. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die bestellten Gerichte waren perfekt zubereitet. Der Kabeljau war auf den Punkt gegart, das Gemüse hatte Biss. Die Pasta meiner Frau war superlecker und die Gambas ein Traum. Das Lokal ist sehr empfehlenswert.

The food is SENSATIONAL! The ambience is first class. Please be sure to use the toilets.

Ambience great. We chose a nice day to stay there. No matter what it costs. The place was just beautiful. And then that…3 day beds were occupied while the others were not set up. If you just wanted to change the mattresses for another daybed, you would have done that yourself. Staff underground... bearded bartender bored chatting with his friend - no hello - nothing. And then the restaurant manager came (???) …o-sound: “We’re only making the 3 beds today!” I’m ok with 3 beds remaining. No solution. Nothing. I would definitely have left 500 euros there. They all seemed very unprofessional. You don't do that. Too bad for the tip.

The lounge downstairs by the toilets!! Super Food also good, delicious café, delicious drinks.

What a bad service!!! At first this little beach shop made a beautiful impression. Thanks to the great day beds! Of about eight pieces, only three were uncovered and they were too lazy and unmotivated to simply give them another bed. Everyone was free, you could only have swapped the mattresses... so as a customer you can't decide whether you want to lie more in the sun or more in the shade or simply want a different view. The three beds they made were solid and no one could be dissuaded from that. The bed costs €20 per hour. We would have rented for 5-6 hours. So if you want to forego sales, plus food and drink, then you're probably full!!! As I said, you shouldn't open more beds if it's not possible, although I thought there were too many staff around. We have a restaurant ourselves and I thought there were too many waiters for too few guests! So it wouldn't have been a problem. The only problem is that nobody was motivated to do anything to clear it. But we actually would have done that on our own.

A bit expensive but in a very good location. Be sure to reserve in advance! You should use the central, larger parking spaces nearby and then walk over for 5-10 minutes. Parking on the street is rarely possible because there are few spaces and there is a lot of demand in summer.

We were there before in 2021 and the Hamptons were by far the best restaurant. It will still be the same in 2024. We had sushi, the sandwich as a starter and the surf & turf beef fillet. It was super tasty and the staff was extremely friendly. Gladly again!

We spontaneously went here in the afternoon for a warm drink. The employee at the entrance was very nice. Unfortunately, the employee who took our order didn't really listen and forgot half of it. The ambience is very nice, one disadvantage is that you can unfortunately hear the street very loudly. We also found the prices a bit overpriced.

I received a very unfriendly welcome at the door. In a somewhat loud, unfriendly tone, I was told that I had to put on shoes (without please). Sorry, it's a beach shack. But no problem if I was pointed out in a friendly manner. I'm then straight in another restaurant.

Great restaurant in a great location… very friendly staff. We feel completely at ease! Children and dogs were also welcome there. In the covered garden area you can go there without a reservation and if you're lucky you'll get a table, but otherwise it's better to make a reservation.

A top location. Very good service, delicious food in a very great location. Eating out is fun! We enjoyed great food and good drinks and didn't even have a reservation. HAMPTONS - a very good choice.

Here you pay for the view. Service shockingly clueless and slow. Of three alcohol-free aperitifs, two were not available. The main courses were not enjoyable. We had pasta with truffles, which unfortunately was completely overcooked. Also lamb chops with beans. When it came to the sauce, the kitchen made it very easy and used sweet chili sauce from the Asian store... unfortunately the very fine haricot verts weren't cooked long enough and squeaked when eaten... The chocolate mishap looked a lot like a convenience product. Overall, no culinary discovery but a great view of the Baltic Sea.

Review related to event planning/wedding Organizing an event or a wedding is not recommended here. The responsible operations manager “Max” could not be reached for several weeks. When we asked the restaurant several times over the phone, we were repeatedly referred to him so that he would answer our emails or call us back. Even when we were told that he would be at the restaurant the next day, he had appointments and was also unable to make the promised call back. When we visited the site we were impressed by the staff/service and ambience, but unfortunately it is not possible to organize a wedding like this.

Tolle Location, sensationeller Blick auf die Ostsee. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit sehr aufmerksamer Bedienung. Pasta war leicht verkocht; dafür war der Lachs ganz hervorragend und der Kartoffelstampf ein Gedicht. 

The Hamptons in Scharbeutz is a restaurant that I would happily recommend. The food is really tasty and excellently prepared. The service from the staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the visit particularly pleasant. Added to this is the beautiful view that rounds off the entire experience. Whether for a special occasion or just because, a visit to the Hamptons is definitely worth it and I always enjoy coming here.

It's complete rubbish, if you don't look like you have money, you'll be treated like trash. Absolutely not recommended. I preferred not to give a star.

Great location and chic atmosphere. Sushi was top and very tasty. Unfortunately, the overall impression was marred by the somewhat uncoordinated and not very professional service.

Actually underground. All wines under €40 were somehow allegedly not delivered. So instead of €32 for a wine, we had to take a wine for €42. The placemats were not wiped down and there were no napkins for eating. Only upon request. The Caesar salad was not a Caesar salad. Conclusion: the first time in the Hamptons and the last time in the Hamptons!

Wonderful ambience, unfortunately below average food (truffle pasta completely without truffles, instead with a cheese cream sauce - for €28, salmon completely cooked to death and dry, etc.) and with the unfriendly waiter I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Enjoy your drink in this great atmosphere but eat elsewhere!

I made a reservation online two weeks ago and today was the day. When we got there, which was at 5:45 p.m., we stood in front of a completely stressed employee who showed us to our seat or showed us from a distance where we should sit down. Unfortunately, my express wish to have a window seat when making the reservation was not taken into account at all, which was a shame because there were still a few window seats available during our stay. The 2-seater tables are reminiscent of bistro tables and are simply way too small!!! The food was very good - we had the shrimp pan, surf and turf and sushi dragon rolls - everything tasted very tasty However, requests should be taken into account when making the reservation so that it is a completely successful evening

We had different types of sushi on one platter. Plus a non-alcoholic cocktail. The food was very good. However, the price is too high. A good sushi shop can do it just as well, for less money. At the beginning we were perceived as friendly by the service. In the end, the company next door with more sales was more important. It's a shame, it started so well. The atmosphere was very inviting and cozy. Reality doesn't match the Insta hype.

Food and drinks are simply delicious! Service top. Sure it's a little more expensive but it's worth it.

Das dort angebotene Sushi zu absolut überteuerten Preisen war leider nur mittelmäßig. Da gibt es Restaurants im mittleren Preissegment, die deutlich besseres Sushi anbieten. Kleine Portionen, von denen normale Menschen nicht satt werden. Hamptons, kann man machen, muss man aber nicht.

Great location between Scharbeutz and Timmendorfer Strand on the foot and cycle path. Delicious fish dishes at higher prices. Service could be more attentive. 2 guests left because they were not being paid attention to. Too bad...staff was there...

I had dinner there with my colleague in the evening. I have to say I have never been served such delicious salmon, the portions were woooww. My colleague was also thrilled with the tagliatelle with 🍤. Top service, very attentive waiters and super friendly. Ambience just wooooooooowww. Four of us were there for lunch. The service at the Hamptons was impeccable as always and so was the food. Very nice view of the beach and the Baltic Sea. We really enjoyed everything with a cool rosé.

The Instagram appearance of this beautiful restaurant made me curious and I had great expectations. These did not disappoint! We made a reservation, which I would recommend. The restaurant was very busy and it's a shame when you're looking forward to a great meal with a wonderful ambience right on the beach and then can't get a seat. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a small table with comfortable armchairs. The friendly, competent waiter came quickly, overall everything went quite quickly, but you didn't feel like you were being "handled". We first had a Caesar salad with beef and bread, which you had to order separately. Very tasty and a really big portion! The main course was sushi. You can't mix things up here because every sushi roll is freshly prepared after you order it. There is also a large mixed platter for 2 if you want a variety. Our chosen varieties were super fresh and delicious, one serving is 8 pieces. Finally there was a very tasty dessert and we were full and happy. The dishes were all lovingly prepared. We noticed that there were complaints about meat dishes at neighboring tables, and a friendly and quick response was made to this in order to satisfy the guest. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. The price is rather high, but it's worth the money! We spent €55 per person for three courses including drinks.

Der Service war völlig überfordert Aperitif kam erst nach 25 Minuten zeitgleich mit der Hauptspeise Wurde mit tut mir leid kommentiert Wein im Kühler wurde auf einen Stuhl neben uns gestellt und nicht eingegossen Die Nachspeise musste mehrfach angemahnt werden Preis -Leistung passen überhaupt nicht Die Bedienung hatte aber Zeit sich mit Stammgästen ausführlich zu unterhalten Es gibt deutlich bessere Restaurants in Scharbeutz z.B. Herzberg

Es waren für den ganzen Abend nur 2 buchbare Zeiten buchbar. Als ich im Restaurant eintraf, fragte ich ob wir draußen sitzen könnten. Nachdem der Kellner eine Kollegin fragte ob die Tische draußen "alle wirklich reserviert" wären, war mir klar, dass hier Reservierungen nicht ganz ehrlich vergeben werden. 3 Kellner/innen haben wir gebeten Bescheid zu sagen, wenn draußen etwas frei werden sollte. Wir haben über eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten müssen. Während des gesamten Aufenthaltes war das ganze Restaurant nur zu einem Drittel gefüllt. Auch draußen gab es durchgehend jede Menge freier Tische. Als wir unseren letzten Drink bestellten, sagten wir dass wir uns damit an den Strand setzen werden. Dies wurde von 3 Kellnern, denen wir das erklären mussten, zähneknirschend akzeptiert. Wir dürften uns ausnahmsweise ganz an den Rand auf die letzten Stühle setzen, sie würden ja schließlich schon abbauen (Es waren noch 2,5 Std. bis zur Schließung nach den Öffnungszeiten). Die Stühle waren dann natürlich doch schon abgebaut, sodass wir uns selbst 2 Stühle aufbauen mussten. Das erste und letzte Mal im Hamptons. Der Stil, das Ambiente, die Preise passen nicht im entferntesten zum Servicegedanken. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

Unser Happy Place am Strand an der Ostsee. Garden Spritz hier entdeckt und seitdem unser Lieblings-Sommer-Getränk. Danke nochmals hierfür! Hervorragendes Essen und sehr netter Service.

I wouldn't come over for dinner again. We weren't blown away by either the selection or the quality. Recommended for drinks and a shady view. Parking nearby can only be obtained with luck in high season.

We ate very well here. The food is very tasty and the portions are generous (which isn't necessarily a positive thing for me, but it works here). The service is great - everyone (at least the ones we dealt with) are friendly and professional. Price performance is right. The location is great for Baltic Sea conditions.

It’s a nice place with at a great location directly at the beach and modernly furnished. However kitchen and staff did not keep up the first impression. The menue is a mix of everything (sushi, curry, surf&turf) without a clear direction and unfortunately not lots of local fish. We ordered a bottle of wine which we received, but naked… We decided for a Caesar salad and the Bao Buns. The Caesar salad was over salted and the buns were not freshly made and had a consistency of a flat tire. The marinated chicken was also pre-prepared and also not tender. Our complaints were noted but with no reaction. I even had to pay for the espresso I ordered to devour the taste. Complete overpriced! Definitely will avoid the place.

Wir kommen seit 3 Jahren immer mal wieder ins Hamptons wenn wir einen Sonntag-Strandtag machen. Das Ambiente ist fantastisch, direkt am Stand sehr schick und modern eingerichtet und auch ein schöner Außenbereich mit Daybeds zum mieten gehören dazu. Der Service ist total in Ordnung aber an Sommertagen wo jeder Platz besetzt ist der Service verständlicher Weise manchmal etwas hinterher. Das Essen war preislich immer in der etwas gehobeneren Kategorie, aber dementsprechend sind auch die Erwartungen an die Qualität des Essens. Letztes Jahr hatten wir einmal eine Bouillabaisse und ein anderes Mal im letzten Jahr eine Pasta mit Meeresfrüchten, beide Gerichte waren klasse. Heute waren wir wieder dort, wir hatten eine Pasta Trüffel für 28€ und einen Kabeljau mit Kartoffelstampf, Brokkoli und Kartotten (wörtlich so auf der Karte) für 31€. Die Pasta war verkocht und geschmacklich ziemlich fade auch wenn die Trüffelnote in Ordnung war. Der Kabeljau an sich hatte einen top Garpunkt allerdings war auch dieser geschmacklich fade bzw. hat sich mit dem Salatdressing vermischt, was gar nicht zum Fisch passte und diesen somit leider wirklich versaut hat. Die je 2 gedünsteten Brokkoli-Röschen (bissfest) und Mini-Karotten (verkocht) hätte man auf Grund der geschmacklichen Neutralität auch weg lassen können. Der Kartoffelstampf war eine kompakte Masse die noch mit Röstzwiebeln und Käse (?) versetzt war, geschmacklich ok aber das was den anderen Komponenten auf dem Teller an Kreativität fehlte war meinem Geschmack nach beim Kartoffelstampf zu viel. Für mich stimmte heute das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gar nicht, auch wenn die Portion wirklich ausreichend war. Allgemein konnte ich kein kulinarisches Konzept auf der Karte erkennen und inzwischen ist alles recht asiatisch angehaucht, warum muss es inzwischen (fast) überall Teriyaki-Sauce dazu geben? Ich würde mich über gut und auch gerne gehoben gemachte Fisch-Klassiker freuen, nach dem Erlebnis heute werde ich mir den nächsten Besuch aber noch mal überlegen.

The location is perfect. Unfortunately the service is terrible. You feel like you are air and then at some point you are served (perhaps reluctantly). Maybe the gentlemen should attend another training session.

A mega location right by the sea. The sushi is fantastic and the service really good. You are super attentive. Discovered on Insta and booked a table before our vacation. Super recommended and happy to come again.

Das Ambiente und die Aussicht des Restaurants ist wunderschön. Das Essen von der Qualität her ist sehr sehr gut. Die Mengen für das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sind leider ein wenig zu wenig. Es könnte ruhig ein bisschen mehr sein, da es doch sehr hochpreisig ist und von daher könnte ruhig ein wenig mehr auf dem Teller sein.

Sehr schöne Atmosphäre! Das Restaurant hat eine geschmackvolle Einrichtung und die Atmosphäre ist herrlich. Der Ausblick auf das Meer lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Kellner Aiham ist sehr zuvorkommend , freundlich und aufmerksam gewesen. Solche Mitarbeiter tun dem Restaurant einfach nur gut 💪! Danke , für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Unfortunately, this location is obviously not interested in guests who “just” want to have a drink. Despite there apparently being free seats, we were not offered a seat with a clearly negative shaking of the head. Really a shame.

Small drink order, nonetheless. very long wait for the drinks.

Leider haben wir in der Hauptsaison um 20 Uhr einen Tisch reserviert. Der Kellner war fertig und überarbeitet nach unserem Eindruck. Leider roch es extrem nach altem Fett. Das Kabeljaugericht ist mir nicht bekommen. Das ist mir noch nirgends passiert. Das Kartoffelpüree schmeckte mir nicht, der Salat war nicht richtig frisch mehr und die 2 kleinen Stücke Kabeljau nicht gut gewürzt und fettig. Das Sushi vegetarisch war gut aber keine Sensation. Das Curry war gut und reichlich. Schade, da wir auf Empfehlung ( leckerstes Sushi, alles Mega lecker) reserviert hatten .

Ich habe das Hampton zum dritten Mal (mittags) besucht. Das Ambiente ist top, direkt am Strand. Zum Essen kann ich nur sagen Preise Top, Essen Flop. Natürlich sind die Geschmäcker verschieden, aber was mir bei meinen Besuchen vorgesetzt wurde, war schon stark gewöhnungsbedürftig. Zum Sushi kann ich nichts sagen. Das Personal besteht ausschließlich aus Hilfskräften. Ein Befriedigung nur wegen dem Ambiente.

Very good food in a really great atmosphere. After pre-ordering and requesting a table with a view of the beach, our wishes were completely fulfilled. We had a great evening and would love to come back again.

Es war eine Empfehlung, jedoch ein absoluter Reinfall. Mehr Schein als Sein. Essen ging gar nicht. Service ging gar nicht.

The food was very good. However, the prices are outrageous. We were really shocked! Unfortunately, the service wasn't particularly nice or very attentive!

Anyone who expects a beach snack for chips, cola and an ice cream is definitely wrong here!!! Elegant ambience right on the beach with a DREAMY VIEW. People here are proud of the good sushi offering. Kitchen and grill of a high standard. Special dishes, changing dishes. Day ticket, evening ticket. Prices definitely above average! Everything has to be right! But you also get shrimp (nice in the shell) and not arctic crabs. 4 different areas in the basement a very attractive bar. Various seating sofas, armchairs chairs. Additionally, in the summer there were daybeds, beach chairs and deck chairs on the beach. We had several friendly, competent waiters. Just a coffee to enjoy and dream... Or a great evening with good food and nice people. Thanks.

A beachfront restaurant. My friend was catcalled because she had forgotten her shoes. I had… thank you flip flops for her. The waiter could have conveyed this to her in a more friendly manner instead of loudly chauffeuring another waitress about it. The food was nothing special, but ok. The beach location is amazing, that's why I'll be back :)

Went to the Hamptons a few times 2 years ago and wanted to spend our wedding anniversary there again this year. Unfortunately the service has been extremely poor. The service was just stressed and not professional. Food and drinks were just passed around. Although we wanted the wine list, it was not brought. The meal was okay. We won't be coming back for a while. A pity

Wie bei unserem ersten Besuch im Mai 2024 hatten wir auch dieses Mal einen Tisch online vorbestellt -allerdings nur vier Tage vorher. Daher wurde uns ein Tisch zugewiesen, der doch sehr klein und nah am Nachbartisch war. Einen größeren Tisch im Innenbereich zu bekommen, war nach Aussage des Restaurantleiters nicht möglich. Das Essen - Sushi und Trüffelpasta - war erneut sehr geschmackvoll. Angesichts des doch recht hohen Preisniveaus schmälerte der wenig ansprechende Platz doch den Restaurantbesuch. Fazit: am besten Wochen im Voraus buchen und auf einen schönen Platz hoffen.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend dort. Das Sushi ist wirklich das Beste, was wir jemals gegessen haben. Das Restaurant liegt traumhaft direkt am Ostseestrand, besser geht es nicht.

Sehr gutes essen und sehr gute Qualität. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Schöner Blick auf die Ostsee.
