Das Personal ist unprofessionell und arrogant! Lauwarmes Wasser servieren und dann wollen sie auch noch warmen Rotwein servieren und behaupten den trinkt man so. Unprofessionell! Nicht diskutieren sondern Lösungen finden. Bei den hohen Preisen echt unmöglich

Ich hatte Geburtstag und saß mit meiner Frau an einem Zweiertisch, das war mir zu klein, aber das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es ist wie immer ein schöner Moment im Hampthons mit Blick auf die Ostsee. Gutes Essen, tolles Ambiente, guter Service….. weiter so

Sehr leckeren Spargel mit Rinderfilet gegessen. Der Service war wie immer hervorragend. Wir sind seit 7 Jahren Stammgäste und freuen uns immer wieder auf diese besondere Lokation.

Wer tolles Ambiente sucht,phantasievolles und extrem gutes Sushi schätzt, sich als Gast willkommen fühlen möchte, der sollte ins Hamptons gehen. Immer wieder gerne dort, super Qualität, ja, Preise sind nicht günstig, aber gutes Handwerk gepaart mit exzellenten Produkten hat einen-fairen- Preis. Ein wirkliches Highlight an der Ostsee!

Wie immer ein Erlebnis, die Sushiplatte vom Chef zu genießen und dazu auch noch der schöne Ostseeblick 

Die Sushi Platte war grandios und die Ochsenbäkchen ein Traum. Der Service war toll und super aufmerksam. Kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir in der Nähe sind.

Qualität des Essen schlecht, Service schlecht, Preis und Leistung stimmen nicht

Es gibt kein schöneres Restaurant in der gesamten Lübecker Bucht. Die Lage in den Dünen ist einmalig, das Essen hervorragend und der Service aufmerksam & frendlich. Wir kommen immer wieder gern her !

Wunschlos zufrieden, Sehr freundliches Personal, gingen auf unseren Tischwunsch ein und haben versucht alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit umzusetzen. Essen war ausgezeichnet wir hatten 2 Vorspeisen, eine Sushi Rolle und ein Steak, alles perfekt angerichtet und abgeschmeckt. Rundum zufrieden und ohne schlechtes Gewissen eine 9-10/10

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend im Hamptons Scharbeutz. Ich bin oft mittags in dem Restaurant aber abends hat mich der Service und das Ambiente noch mehr überzeugt. Das Sushi war hervorragend, der Service ausnahmslos perfekt. Freundlich, zuvorkommend, charmant. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder und freuen uns auf den nächsten Abend im Hamptons.

Wir hatten am Silvesterabend einen sehr schönen Tisch in diesem sehr stilvollen, besonders schönem Lokal. Der Service war überragend und das Essen absolut köstlich!Das Sushi war göttlich!Absolut empfehlenswert!!Danke an das Team, wir hatten einen wundervollen Abend!

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal hier und waren beim ersten Mal schon sehr zufrieden. Heute habe ich Surf & Turf Medium rare bestellt und es war absolut auf den Punkt. Meine Frau hatte Ente modern und war ebenso begeistert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hervorragende Speisen und sehr guter, aufmerksamer Service! Der Crêpe Suzette war sehr gut und die Zubereitung am Platz ein Erlebnis.

Wir hatten einen schöne Abend. Toller freundlicher Service und super lieber Umgang mit unseren Kindern. Wir kommen wieder. Das Essen war natürlich auch fantastisch.

Mehrmaliger Gast bei Ihnen. Fast immer ein gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis. Am 22.12.25 eine einzige Katastrofe. Bei diesen Preisen: ein Kalbskotelett zu € 43 was keins war. Ein Großer Knochen mit einem runden Fleischsrückchen am Ende ist ein Küchenrest. Das "moderne" Entengericht war eine Zusamenkehren von Küchenabfälle einiger anderer (welcher?) Entengerichte mit Obststreifen, mittelmäßige Pommes. Insgesamt mit zwei anderen Gerichten die so gerade o.k. 1 Wasser 2 Bier waren über ca. € 210 fällig. Da wird man sprachlos. Sorry - Hampton zunächst nie wieder.

Super Sevice, leider waren wir mit den Speisen nicht so zufrieden. Hinzu kam die sehr lange Wartezeit… Das kenn wir eigentlich besser dort.

Dieses Restaurant gehört zu meinen absoluten Lieblingsorten. Direkt am Meer gelegen, bietet es eine Aussicht, die mich jedes Mal aufs Neue begeistert. Die Atmosphäre ist genau nach meinem Geschmack – ruhig, warm und voller Wohlgefühl. Jedes Mal, wenn ich hier herkomme, habe ich das Gefühl, an einen Ort zurückzukehren, der mir am Herzen liegt. Ein wirklich wunderbares Restaurant, das ich immer wieder gerne besuche.

It was our first time there and we were thrilled. We'll definitely be back. The food, the decor, the whole concept is just perfect. A huge compliment! Perhaps the curry sauce recipe for the currywurst could be improved. It could be better. But that's just a matter of taste.

Toll angerichtetes Essen , sehr lecker , tolles Ambiente

Wir waren zu zweit mit Hund zum Essen dort. Nach 3 Gängen wurden wir allerdings auch sehr schnell hinausgebeten, da die 2 Stunden abgelaufen waren. Das schmälert natürlich den sonst sehr guten Eindruck vom Essen und vom Service. Wir hätten gern noch einen Drink nach dem Dessert genommen. Schade.

This year I had the pleasure of photographing a couple's wedding and discovered Hamptons with its cool daybeds. The couple had an intimate civil ceremony in Timmendorfer Strand, followed by a wedding photoshoot at Hamptons, a special champagne toast with the sound of the ocean on the daybeds, and a cozy meal of sushi for two. It's a fantastic option for anyone who prefers a small but exquisite post-ceremony celebration – perfect! And you simply can't get any closer to the sea :)

Overall, a lovely restaurant with excellent service and ambiance! For the price, the taste could be better, but we'd be happy to come back! Coke is filled with ice cubes up to a maximum of 0.4 liters...

Everything was great. If there was one complaint, it might be the longer wait for the food, but the location and the view more than make up for it.

Alles so, wie ich es mir vorgestellt/gewünscht habe. Es war ein teurer aber wundervoller und fast perfekter Abend!!! Wir kommen 100%ig wieder.

We were there this afternoon for a drink. After about 30 minutes, a waitress started vacuuming the floor loudly. It was impossible to have a conversation. I pointed out to the waitress that we didn't think this was acceptable and disrespectful. The waitress's response: "I find it disrespectful of you not to allow the next guests to have a clean restaurant." Unbelievable. Never again. Service 6.

We ate there for my husband's birthday. I had made a reservation in advance and mentioned this. Unfortunately, the occasion received little attention, apart from a brief "Happy Birthday" at the reception. My requested window seat was also ignored. The sushi was good, but quite expensive, and the dessert, at €14, was much too small. For the price range, I would have preferred a bit more ambiance and attention—especially for such an occasion. However, the service was very friendly. We would still give the restaurant another chance.

We rented beach chairs in the Hamptons several times in the summer of 2025. The prices are outrageously high: more expensive than Sylt! The beach chairs are also dirty, moldy, and covered in cobwebs. The towels left black stains afterward. And the toilet in the restaurant building was broken the whole time. The next one is several hundred meters away. Even though the guests pay for it! Overall, much worse than Thimms (the previous owner). What a shame!

Immer wieder ein Besuch wert. Tatsächlich finde ich es „außerhalb der Saison“ angenehmer, als bei Hochbetrieb. Der Besuch ist dann persönlicher, angenehmer. Aber das wäre ein Klagen auf hohem Niveau.

Wir haben für ca. 150 € verschiedene Speisen und Getränke zu Dritt verzehrt. Je teurer das Gericht, desto kleiner die Portion. Der Reis hat ausgesehen, als hätte er schon auf 3 anderen Tellern gelegen. Das Hähnchenfleisch war alt/verdorben. Hatte einen ranzigen bis fauligen Geschmack. Die Hausfries sind überfrittiert/verbrannt und haben kaum Geschmack. Das wird übertüncht mit viel zu viel Fertigsoße und Zwiebeln. Bauchschmerzen und Übelkeit waren die Folge. Alles nicht das Geld und die Gesundheit wert. Eine große Enttäuschung. Für Kuchen und Kaffee ganz okay, sonst leider nur ein schlechteres Fastfood-Restaurant.

The Hamptons in Scharbeutz is a restaurant I'd happily recommend. The food is truly delicious and excellently prepared. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the visit particularly pleasant. Added to that is the beautiful view, which completes the entire experience. Whether for a special occasion or just for fun, a visit to the Hamptons is definitely worth it, and I enjoy coming back again and again.

Waren zu zweit als Paar bei Hamptons in Scharbeutz essen. Das Ambiente war schön und Service war freundlich und entsprechend. Leider mussten wir aber auf main course 40 Minuten warten. Das Essen war an sich auch lecker, nur das Rindersteak war fast durch, obwohl Medium gewünscht war. Ansonsten können wir Hamptons weiter empfehlen.

Good evening, the decor isn't bad overall when you enter the restaurant, even nice. Unfortunately, the seats are stained, but it doesn't feel very inviting. The service was, let's say, okay. You expect something different in a place like this, especially more attentive service. Well, the food, I think it wasn't up to scratch. After we pointed it out, they only offered strange excuses. The conversation wasn't as pleasant as it should have been either. The wine was as expected. The most interesting thing was when we ordered dessert and two grappas. Suddenly, in a place like this, grappa is only served in 2-cl glasses! A normal portion is 2 cl. That means 2 cl of grappa costs 10 euros and 4 cl costs 20 euros. Two grappas therefore cost 40 euros. A 750 ml bottle of grappa, on the other hand, costs 44 euros. Now the question is: Did I drink golden grappa, or is this a scam? I understand that restaurants should make money, but this kind of customer deception is absolutely unacceptable! I find those dirty seats disgusting, too. Totally stained and covered in food. Of course, but that's how I found my seats.

We were at the Hamptons last night. Even though it was a Monday, the place was busy. The staff was really friendly, and the sushi was excellent. (Unfortunately, I don't have photos of everything 😅)

We came with a reservation, but despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we were seated at a high table next to the counter and kitchen, which was far from ideal. The service felt disorganized: the menu arrived late, different staff members came one after another, and when we asked about the lamb special, it took over 10 minutes for the waitress to check with the chef — all while we could see the discussion happening from our table. The food was disappointing. The sushi is not for traditional sushi lovers — it was heavy on fried rice, meats, and sauces. We also tried fried rice with salmon tartare; unfortunately, the rice was chewy and unpleasant, though the tartare itself was good. My husband’s steak was fine, but my pasta with fresh truffles was overly oily, with truffles grated as if they were Parmesan and lacking real truffle flavor. The cocktails were the highlight — very tasty and well made. However, overall, the experience didn’t match the price point. The atmosphere and service fell short (including casual attire from staff that didn’t feel appropriate), and we left disappointed. Sadly, I wouldn’t return or recommend this place.

We spontaneously booked two places over our phone, and it worked out perfectly. Great restaurant right on the beach; the server was very friendly and gave us good advice. The best part was the sushi, which was absolutely delicious!

Today was our first time at the Hamptons. It was a Tuesday, and by 7 p.m. the place was already very busy. We had the sushi platter for two, which was very generous and delicious. For dessert, my husband had the chocolate maleur and I had the panna cotta. Both were excellent. (The panna cotta was amazing!)

entgegen einiger negativer Ratschläge hatten wir uns doch entschlossen hier essen zu gehen. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Sowohl Sushi als auch Surf and Turf waren herausragend. Immer wieder gerne werden wir ins Hamptos zurückkommen. Auch der Service war ausgesprochen gut. Vielen Dank für den tollen Abend.

Wir waren schon oft im diesem schönen Restaurant. Das Essen was hervorragend. Die Garnelenpfanne, Sashimi und Sushi, alles war perfekt zubereitet. Auch Sonderwünsche waren kein Problem. Tische stehen ein wenig zu nah zusammen, so dass man doch viel von den Nachbartisch mitbekommt.

Die bessere Küche mit fantastischem Essen, guter Service mit besonderes Ambiente - eine ganz besondere Empfehlung!

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Sushi sind frisch, aber ich kenne in Hamburg mind. 2 Restaurants, in denen sie leckerer sind. Die Bedienung war sehr gut, sehr freundlich und schnell. Das Ambiente ist nett, aber nicht herausragend. Daher die Abzüge beim Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Very friendly staff, Superb view, Great ambiance. A truly lovely restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was truly outstanding. Unfortunately, the prices are quite high. Hence the one-star deduction. Reservations are mandatory - you have to reserve a table for about two hours. However, this is absolutely not a problem. The order was very quick, and the food didn't take long to arrive.

It was great. However, for a location like this, they could make sure the beds, etc., were clean, and that the chairs and tables weren't rusty and standing in the sand. That's a point deduction. The service and the food were excellent. Thanks for the wonderful day.

We had sushi, which was really good and fairly priced. The ambiance is also very appealing and lovingly designed. The drinks were consistently well-mixed and delicious. We had a super friendly waitress, a young lady who served us very warmly. This made the visit twice as enjoyable, and we can only recommend it.

The Hamptons is a unique location. The setting is unparalleled, and the interior design is very appealing. A blend of modern architecture and coziness under a thatched roof. Access to the beach and the direct view of the Baltic Sea immediately evoke a feeling of relaxation. The selection of drinks and food leaves nothing to be desired. We'll be back!

Leckeres Essen zu humanen Preisen mit sehr schönem Blick auf die Ostsee.

I can't understand at all how this place got a 4.1 rating. We went out to dinner with the family yesterday... the ambiance, the service, and the food were perfect. Thank you for a lovely evening. We'll be happy to come back.

We ate there for my birthday. Sushi was delicious. But... When we made the reservation, we specified that it was a birthday dinner. Despite this, we got the "worst" seat, facing the street. It's a shame, as we had expected a seat with a view for such an occasion. A table facing the water was available. When we asked if we could sit there, we were told the table was reserved. Almost an hour later, the table was given to another server, who stated that it would be reserved in an hour and a half... Doubly unfortunate, because we were lied to. By the time the reservation arrived, we would have been finished long ago.

The sushi is massively overpriced. €85 for a platter for two people is acceptable, but two pieces of nigiri cost €10, which is simply bottomless. A sushi roll with eight pieces costs €27-29. With the platter, you get to choose one of five rolls, and the rest is, of course, vegetarian to save money. When the platter finally arrived, the waitress didn't even know what ingredients were in the other rolls, and the worst part is yet to come: €8.50 for 0.75L of still water, and €12 for a glass of wine. The view is nice, but the prices are a real disappointment.

The service is unfriendly. You get the impression that if you don't have that Sylt look, you're uninteresting. The waiter is very, very snooty.

On August 19th, my girlfriend and I were at the Hamptons Scharbeutz. Since my girlfriend found the spot on Instagram and absolutely wanted to eat there, we drove all the way from Hamburg to Scharbeutz to eat! We were horrified!!... Why? We had a reservation, of course, and arrived at the restaurant shortly before 5 p.m. We were greeted and informed of the two-hour limit. A nice welcome... We got a really nice table in the front row. However, we must have been a bit underwhelmed. Because everyone at each table was chatting at length... only we were ignored. It took 10 minutes to get a menu... When we ordered our drinks (Mezzo and rhubarb spritzer), it became clear that this wasn't what we were expecting. After we got our drinks, we each ordered three rolls of sushi. They were beautifully arranged and served on a platter. However, we had ordered maki with cucumber and not the avocado that was served. We approached the waiter M. and our response was: "Sorry, we actually ordered cucumber, not avocado." Our answer: "Actually, not." The plate was taken from the table and taken away without further comment. No matter how, no matter where!! That's rude and completely unacceptable!! We considered leaving the restaurant immediately! However, we decided to stay and eat, as we had traveled all the way from Hamburg. After a few minutes, the plate was placed back on our table. With the correct order! The sushi was fine! Not a culinary revelation. But delicious. However, we weren't asked if everything was okay or if we wanted another drink. We then skipped dessert and drinks to round off the evening and paid!! We were in the restaurant for 40!! minutes. And we won't be coming back with friends as planned. Conclusion!!! Food OK! Great atmosphere! Super nice. Service… terrible! Probably doesn't apply to everyone there!! Or to all the guests!! What a shame ☹️

The location is great, with wonderful views of the sea. The decor and atmosphere is also nice. The food we had was very poor however. Incredibly bad sushi - with undercooked rice. Edamame overcooked and flavourless. Service was initially nice, but got very tetchy when we told them we didnt like the food. Prices were high, especially for the quality.

The Hamptons itself is very nice. However, we booked a daybed for €100 without food. They were old, and the transitions had mildew and mold stains. The daybed frame was homemade. The mattress was covered with a cheap fitted sheet that was too big for a regular bed. For that kind of money, you expect higher-quality furniture. The service at the beds was great, though. Otherwise, a very nice place to chill. One small request: please take care of those disgusting outdoor toilets. That reflects on the location.

We had a very pleasant evening. Although we arrived early, we got a table and even accommodated our request for a window seat. The staff were extremely enthusiastic and exuded a good mood. The ox cheeks were fantastic!

Wir waren zum 2 Mal im Hamptons und es ist wieder einmal ein Emotionales und kulinarisches Erlebnis! Man hat den uneingeschränkten Blick aufs Meer und den sehr zugewandten Service. Dieses Erlebnis rundet jeden Urlaub auf!
