We went to Toni's Essbar in Scharbeutz and were thrilled! The food was not only incredibly tasty, but also prepared with great attention to detail. The menu offers a great selection of fresh dishes with something to suit every taste. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and attentive service, which made the visit a completely successful experience. The cozy atmosphere and the beautiful view of the Baltic Sea make the restaurant a real insider tip. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend Toni's Essbar! A perfect place for connoisseurs.

Visited twice during our vacation and were completely satisfied. Good moderate prices with good quality in every respect.

Service was great, but unfortunately the food didn't convince us

I've been coming to Scharbeutz with my family practically all my life (19 years) and the Essbar is a must visit. It's not lucky enough to be right by the sea, which is an advantage of other, lower quality restaurants, but it more than makes up for it with the great food on offer. There is something for everyone here, some dishes are of course a little more expensive, but everything is very good. The service is always friendly and accommodating. It's lovely to sit on the terrace. We always like to come back.

A very very great restaurant. There really isn't much to add here. We were there today with our two children (9 years and 3 years) and it was still pretty empty. That's why we chose a slightly quieter corner so that we wouldn't disturb anyone. The atmosphere is totally cozy and absolutely our taste. We felt very comfortable. The service was super nice and friendly. We ordered the drinks and our food relatively quickly. The drinks came quickly and the appetizers were brought almost at the same time. This was immediately followed by food. It was super tasty and very plentiful. Prices usually vary between €10 and €20 per person and dish. There were 3 children's dishes on the menu, which had already motivated us to go there (We had already looked at the menu online beforehand). And we really didn't regret it. It was a very, very nice evening. We therefore definitely recommend the restaurant with 5 stars.

very nice restaurant. Staff very nice. Food great. Prices...are for tourist area. We tried the Happy Scharbeutz. And I have another cocktail. Very good. We'd love to come back. Then we went to the Essbar again. :-) Parking spaces aren't really available. But since we e.g. Currently living around the corner, no problem for us. We didn't need to make a reservation when we visited. Was free. Probably from 6 p.m., it would be better to reserve in advance.

Schnitzel and pizza were ok, but they didn't blow us away either. The food came very quickly, my red wine was sparkling, which is something I don't know about red wine (except Lambrusco) and I didn't like it. I asked for another wine (Primitivo) and this was brought to me without any problem as a replacement for the price of the wine I originally ordered :-)

Very cozy restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. I'm already looking forward to the next time. Update: the 2nd visit was also good. Delicious farmer's breakfast! And on the third visit a delicious pizza. Great floor and delicious topping. It remains the evaluation.

We ordered food. Prepared very quickly and it was ready for collection in just 15-20 minutes. It was very tasty. GiantXXL bacon burger and tortellini alla panna.

Everything was good, service, food, drinks. I can't really judge the ambience. I ate in the winter garden. It was good but nothing special either. All in all positive.

At first there was great disappointment that Saltimbocca, which was available on the Internet, was no longer available on the current menu. The friendly waitress simply asked in the kitchen and a very tasty Saltimbocca was served 👍. A great service that is missed in other locations. Highly recommended.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of celebrating my little princess's birthday with the entire family at "Toni's Essbar". From start to finish we were looked after by an outstanding team - from the boss to the waiters. The warm and courteous atmosphere made our visit an unforgettable experience. The food was deliciously prepared and we all loved it. The variety and quality of the dishes pampered our taste buds and spoiled us culinary. The presentation of the food was as appealing as the taste. Particularly noteworthy is the attention and care shown to the birthday child. The team at "Toni's Essbar" really went out of their way to make the day very special for my little princess. Overall, our visit to "Toni's Essbar" was a complete success and we can highly recommend this restaurant. We look forward to coming back soon and enjoying more culinary highlights. Delicious food, very quick and friendly staff.

We had 5 pizzas, 2x pizza bread, 2x cod, a salad and once spaghetti carbonara. So the pizzas were ok, not a particularly good pizza. The pizza bread was unseasoned, no olive oil or anything else on it, so it was simply baked dough, which for us has nothing to do with pizza bread. The salad was fresh, but the dressing was a disaster. The cod was completely unseasoned and thawed, completely overpriced for that. In addition, the side dish of fried potatoes was like eating in a canteen and for €22, in a place where you expect fresh fish. My spaghetti was completely over salted and there was a hair in my food. All in all, paid way too much money for really low quality food.

A hip/nice/smaller restaurant in Scharbeutz. A table reservation is recommended! From salads to burgers to meat dishes, everything is on the menu! Price-performance ratio appropriate. You can sit in front of and in the restaurant.

This was our third time there and the food was always delicious! Fair prices and super nice staff!

The food was very good and we ate ourselves into a coma because of the portions. We also took the pizza and pasta happy hour with us and got it really cheap. We'll be happy to come back on our next day trip :D

I almost never give 5* in advance! The ambience makes you feel like you are in a beach resort in Mallorca. Plastic plant decorations - then it's better not to use any at all. The portions and the prices are okay. We were a bit unlucky when it came to food, it was light Burnt and the fish at the next table was also far dry. They didn't respond to our complaint and the neighboring table had cappuccino on the house. The other dishes at the other tables looked good, especially the schnitzel.

Food was okay but nothing special. However, service was extremely slow and we waited 20 minutes for our bill even though it was very busy.

We were there today for my mom's birthday and gave us a little extra time because the homepage advertises that the “Pizza & Pasta Lunch” is offered from Monday to Sunday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the months from May to September. When we were there at 5:30 p.m. we were denied access. Lunch is only from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. In my opinion, customers are being lured with false offers here. Unfortunately there was no courtesy from the restaurant. That was definitely the last time we were there.

Great food, reasonable prices - you can definitely get enough for €20 - nice staff and enough space. We only thought our experiences were good and would be happy to come back.

The food was really great, we had schnitzel, pizza and pasta. Everything tasted really good. The restaurant is nice and attractively decorated. Just plan some time. In our case, the restaurant was almost completely full and we waited almost 20 minutes with the cards on the table until our order was taken and almost 45 minutes until the food was at the table. However, this is probably due to a lack of staff, because the people who served were constantly on the go and actually quick.

We have been here several times and are always thrilled. The food is fresh, warm and very tasty! There is only one star deducted for the service, as the staff has difficulty keeping up on busy days. But everyone is always incredibly friendly and accommodating. We will be back definitely!

The atmosphere is very nicely decorated. The service is also quite good. We didn't have to wait very long and got our food after about 10 minutes. However, the taste of my order wasn't very good. My pizza (Maggerita) was dry, tasteless and sometimes had more in common with dry flatbread than with a pizza. I'm almost sorry to say this, but it was honestly one of the worst pizzas I've had in a long time. Of course I can't rate the other dishes. Price-performance ratio was okay.

Absolutely sensationally delicious food. If there were a restaurant like this in our area, I would eat there once a month. Right from the start... As a guest you are welcomed very friendly and quickly, they make sure that you get a nice seat so that you feel comfortable there. We recommend reserving a table a day in advance, the terrace is nice and you can sit in the glazed winter garden. The atmosphere is really nice. We were really positively surprised by the furnishings inside, simply super comfortable. We couldn't have imagined it would be so beautiful. About the staff... Everyone tried very hard and was super attentive. Parents with children are treated very courteously, whether it's a chair or an extra spoon, it's great. If you drop a fork, you're so attentive there and there's fresh cutlery straight away. To eat, absolutely delicious and so beautifully prepared. We had pizza, a salad plate with shrimp, tortellini and baked potatoes with chicken, so we ate there twice during the week of our vacation. It was just mega. Please make sure you form your own picture. I hope and wish the team that the Essbar will continue to offer as good food as we were able to enjoy for as long as possible. Great and many thanks to the nice and attentive team. We would eat there again and again. A great top. 🙏👌

Vacationing here for years. Never tested the restaurant. Today by chance and by far the best price, performance and service. Children were also more than enthusiastic. Always enjoy eating fresh. Will probably come more often next time.

The food was great. The taste was delicious and the quantity was sufficient. The service leaves a lot to be desired, our food and drink orders were only ready after a good 20 minutes. We ordered a starter and main course, which only arrived after about an hour, so the starter was completely forgotten, but not on the bill, it was there, even though the waitress was informed about it beforehand (lack of communication from the waitress). But we would like to be proven wrong and will give the Essbar a second chance in the next few days.

I was served promptly and well. It was open all day long. The prices are cheap. Sometimes even cheaper at lunchtime. I really enjoyed the penne. .

We absolutely love this restaurant! The food was incredibly tasty and the value for money was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very inviting. We were particularly impressed that special requests for our children were fulfilled without any problems. Originally we only wanted to go to each restaurant once during our vacation, but this restaurant impressed us so much that we definitely want to come back here again. Absolute recommendation!

Came across the restaurant by chance and I have to say my expectations were shattered... Awesome... Great service, great food and the ambience was great too. I can only recommend. Unfortunately we discovered it too late but we'll come back next time.

We were there on Monday and had a very good meal. The service was very nice and quick. The food was very good. The pizza and the XXL hamburger were very tasty. We will definitely come back on our next vacation in Scharbeutz...

Staff friendly, food generally good, but for the second time I was completely disappointed with the paprika schnitzel. The dish used to be great, but today it can only be described as paper between breadcrumbs, with the breadcrumbs on each side of the meat being even thicker than the "schnitzel". I even mentioned the problem with my last order to the waitress and still only had a hint of schnitzel on the plate, just cheeky... of course everything has become more expensive, but I can still probably get decent ones for the higher price Expect quality. Just sad, but please don't complain afterwards if the customers stay away

Ordered takeaway food and was ready after 15 minutes. Very friendly service. Card payment was no problem. Unfortunately, the Margherita pizza was very dry, as were the gratinated tortellini. Very unfortunate. Probably won't eat there again.

We were there from May 12th. - May 17th, 2024 in Scharbeutz and visited this restaurant twice. We actually wanted to go to a different restaurant every day, but after we ate "schnitzel with asparagus" for the first time, it was clear to us that we would go to this restaurant again. The second time again schnitzel with fried potatoes. We haven't had anything so perfect and super tasty for many years, So, our recommendation relates to the schnitzel including side dishes and the very nice and super fast service. Thank you very much to everyone at “Essbar”...and we will definitely come back to you!!!
