It was our first time there and we really liked it. The waiters were nice and accommodating, the food was very good and tasty. My 7 year old daughter raved about her spaghetti 🙂. A successful evening. The acoustics are actually a bit loud when the house is full.

We were already there in autumn 2023 because I had read that there was gluten-free pasta and because the kids love pizza. Because of our good experiences we will be going back now. There has been a new owner and team since April. In addition to the gluten-free pasta, there is now also gluten-free pizza (Schär Mehl). Upon request, the cheese was swapped for buffalo mozzarella :-). There was something for the kids to paint and also pizza and pasta as a children's portion. Courteous service! Ambience as usual. As a suggestion, the kids pasta could be served with fussili or something similar instead of spaghetti. It's easier for little ones to eat. We'd love to come back.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ Overall, the food in the restaurant was very tasty. However, the tuna pizza would have tasted better without the caramelized onions – the combination didn't quite fit in my opinion. The steaks and salmon, on the other hand, were absolutely top and cooked to perfection! The service was also extremely friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the waiting time for the food leaves a lot to be desired. The long delivery time marred what was otherwise a great experience.

A table that had been reserved in advance was not free. We ordered 4 pizzas, 3 of which were not brought to the table as described with the statement "then the rest was probably gone". Our child was offered a salad as a "substitute"...... After the complaint they just said “we can’t change that anymore”. Overall very disappointing 😔

Was there for the second time. On the first visit there was fresh homemade gluten-free pasta which was very good. Now, on my next visit, I ordered the same dish, this time made from regular gluten-free pasta. Also good but not as good as before for a long time. Unfortunately! In addition, a gluten-free surcharge was added to the bill without prior notice. So the dish cost €20.50!!! Grotesque because previously the homemade pasta was available at no extra charge....

As a Salento native I can say and recommend this restaurant to all visitors who come to Norderney and those who live there. Pasta is the bomb guys. the freshness and taste is spectacular. The best and tastiest pasta in all of Norderney

Staff far too arrogant, exaggerated and unpleasantly intrusive and friendly. You could tell they just wanted to make money and constantly sell us something. For example, the larger bottle of wine and not the glass or we were asked twice intrusively if we wanted tiramisu for dessert. There was no Italian flair at all (Turkish music). There was no pizza that evening and at a factory you would expect the pasta to be homemade. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. The tomato sauce was watery, there were far too many large peppercorns in the carbonara and bacon, which was described as cooked ham on the menu. The bowl consisted mostly of stalks. And here, too, the menu had potato wedges, even though the bowl had soft fried potatoes. THE WORST OF ALL: Far too expensive for that 💶💶. For 4 people, we had a salt, three simple pasta dishes, two cokes, a beer and a wine, €112 paid. The price-performance ratio is very bad. Overall just not recommended.

The restaurant was very busy, unfortunately we had to wait an hour for the food, we were unlucky that it was very loud in there, guests and music. But everyone enjoyed the food.

The food was authentic Italian and of high quality. The service was attentive and informal. In my opinion, the ambience could be improved - it lacks coziness.

We ordered takeaway noodles from the restaurant and were served straight away without waiting. The already very short waiting time was shortened with a free drink. Very good and exemplary service! The food was very tasty and well cooked. The noodles are homemade. The ingredients are of high quality.

A restaurant where I really like to give 5 stars! The service was very good and attentive, you felt very welcome. The furnishings are modern and everything is very clean. I can highly recommend the food, both the pasta and the salmon and prawns were very tasty and freshly prepared. I really enjoyed it and would love to come back on my next vacation! I had dinner there with my friend yesterday and can recommend this restaurant to everyone! If you don't eat there during your vacation, you're definitely missing out. The food was incredibly tasty and dealing with intolerances went smoothly. We will definitely come back!

It is very loud in the restaurant. Soundproofing might need to be done. We had to wait an hour for our food. When this finally came, the pizza was also very burnt. The next table was given a piece of cake. Without comment without anything, it should probably be considered compensation for the waiting time. Even though we waited longer, we were not offered any compensation. When I wanted to give my feedback on site, all I said was "I understand, I understand, I understand" and I continued to work and look at my colleagues. You weren't taken seriously at all. You can tell the locals on Norderney have enough customers and they don't have to offer any service. It's a shame to have to have such an experience on vacation.

The food was good. The service was a complete disaster. One dish arrived 10 minutes late and another 25 minutes late. The brilliant conclusion was that the wrong receipt was brought in and after correction it was noticed that the wrong table was billed. Other guests also had longer waiting times and errors in their orders. For me there is clearly NO reunion here.

For me the waiters were a bit too brisk, preferring to be a bit more reserved!

If I could give the service 10 stars I would. Really welcoming and gave great recommendations. We tried the linguini recommended to us by the waiter and it was great. The pizza we had was also great and was a huge portion. Decently priced for the location also. Definitely go to this place!!

Basically delicious, but I have mixed feelings... I ordered Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese over the phone. Here you were asked if you could be there in less than 10 minutes. I think this is very good, so you can make sure there are no soggy noodles. When I was there, I was greeted by a very nice young man who immediately asked me about my order. Since I had of course researched the prices in advance, it was clear to me that the pasta cost €18. Still a high price for this. When we arrived at my hotel, the noodles looked delicious. It was a really big portion. I ate a little and I really like the taste. The pasta sauce was fruity and meaty. Unfortunately, what I didn't like at all were the sometimes huge pieces of meat that were in the sauce. Wasn't that minced correctly??? Unfortunately, the food didn't taste that great either.

We were guests here yesterday and were still thrilled. The service was top, had great recommendations and was really “on the ball”. The food was great! We haven't had pizza this good in years. The starter was also super tasty. There was no room left for dessert, but the espresso martini is a real recommendation! It was the first, but certainly not the last visit.

We were there twice as a family. Pizzas and pasta dishes were technically perfect. Individual ingredients seemed very fresh. The desserts were extremely delicious. A real tasty sin! Service was very courteous and motivated.

Famished after arriving here for 12 hours, we got three pizzas and a salad. Extra point for the vegan version, extra point deducted for the infantile, completely over-the-top, extroverted, chummy behavior. Pizzas are quite good so far, but typical for the island or overpriced due to the traffic light coalition.

We spontaneously went to the restaurant on our last evening in Norderney. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, the restaurant is modernly furnished and the waiters are cheerful and friendly. Admittedly, the starter took a while, but the main course of pizza and pasta was amazing... and of course we then ordered the tiramisu - a dream. We can only recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back.

After we were quite disappointed with the restaurant last year, we had a second chance about 2 weeks ago this year. (Last year there were various situations in which we were sure that Barbara Schöneberger was just around the corner with "Do you understand fun?" We were now greeted very effusively by a young man and shown to the table. The place was half full. The drinks came quickly, as did the food and it was very tasty. As we were clearing away the waiter asked if we could have dessert or coffee. We said no. 1 minute later he came with the bill and the words "So, shall we then?". We probably looked a bit irritated, but at least he asked "or do you want to order something else?" No, we just wanted to finish our drinks in peace. We had a bill of 92 euros and tipped 3 euros, which we thought was appropriate given the waiter's behavior. This in turn visibly irritated the waiter; he had probably expected more. I would also like to mention that his behavior towards our 20-year-old daughter was not at all appropriate. We certainly won't go there a third time. Too bad.

Pizza great, pasta with little taste and the punch too much iceberg lettuce and not enough of the delicious stuff

We were very satisfied. Our little boys didn't bother us. Everyone was very, very friendly. And best of all my kids could have gluten free pizza or pasta. Without contamination. Our children have celiac disease and going out to eat is unusual.

First, I was brought the wrong drink. When, after about 40 minutes of waiting, I asked when my pizza would arrive (the restaurant was about 40% full), the service person started to argue with me that 40 minutes would be a normal waiting time. He asked me if he should cancel the pizza in the kitchen and I would like to leave. When the pizza was served about 5 minutes later, the bill was already on the table. There was hardly anything on the pizza and it was cold. When I asked when paying if I could pay with a credit card, I was told yes if it was covered.

Simply beautiful and delicious!

Completely shocked at the arrogance of the dozens of young men in service. Attitudes treat the guest as if they had to express gratitude for the opportunity to leave their money there. On the first evening, 5:30 p.m., long queue in front of the “entrance”, 90% of the tables free. A “servant” had other things to do than look after those waiting. No entry, we can come back an hour later. 2 days later, now reserved: The two of us ate there for €140 and can judge. (You have to be able to prepare giant prawns that weren't there! - pizza is great) But that's almost irrelevant considering the arrogance. Conclusion: There is probably no need to win customers through products and services. The crowd brings it. Last year, the year it opened, everything was perfect.

Pizza was delicious, service was nice too. However, we charge €2 for a small bowl of parmesan and €2 for chilli oil (without us being told this). Next time, maybe let me know beforehand if you're going to charge money for something like that.

The carbonara for two was incredible. Fresh pasta, great guanciale and perfect preparation - just fantastic. The guys in service are really friendly, funny and super fast! Despite not having a reservation, we got a great table!

Miserable service - no one came to take the order for a long time even though the waiters were nearby. (Local wasn't full) As a guest, I had to get up myself to ask the waiter to come to us... actually a disgrace for the service. Food was quite good. When we wanted to have our leftovers packed up, we were laughed at unpleasantly by the waiter because there apparently wasn't enough... I don't know what the problem was, but we don't like throwing away food that's still good! We had to get up again to pay because no one came - the waiter was in the kitchen chatting and eating with his colleagues. No apology, nothing. Due to the poor service we won't be coming back.

Wurde als Einzelgast an einem 6er Tisch mitten im Raum platziert. Servicekraft hat mich kumpelhaft angesprochen (klopft mir auf die Schulter und spricht mich per Du an). Es wurde das falsche Getränk gebracht. Das Restaurant war mit ca 30 Gästen zu ca 40% ausgelastet. Nach ca 45 Minuten fragte ich mal nach, wann ich mit der Pizza rechnen kann. Als Antwort wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass 45 Minuten noch keine lange Wartezeit in einem Restaurant sei. Ausserdem wurde mir nahegelegt , wenn es mir zu lange dauert, die Bestellung zu stornieren und zu gehen. Bevor mir die Pizza ein paar Minuten später serviert wurde, legte mir die Servicekraft die Rechnung auf den Tisch. Auch beim Bezahlen zeigte sich die Servicekraft nicht kundenfreundlich. Auf meine Frage, ob ich mit Mastercard zahlen könnte, erhielt ich die Antwort, wenn sie gedeckt ist ja

We were looking forward to a nice last evening on the island and were unfortunately totally disappointed. The reservation via OpenTable didn't seem to work at all and we waited a long time for our drinks. The staff probably didn't like the fact that we didn't take an aperitif and made it clear to us. When we ordered a pizza, we canceled the Parma ham and when we billed, this “own creation” was supposed to be 2 euros more expensive than the pizza with Parma ham. The waiter was angry and ignored us until we called the boss. Afterwards, 5 euros were thrown on the table and we should clearly finally disappear. Never again!

Ate super tasty! Price performance top! All fresh ingredients! We will definitely come back, would give 10 stars! My husband had a T-bone steak, which wasn't on the menu, but was prepared in English and served at the table! Keep it up!!! Thumbs up!!!

Finally a good pizza on Norderney again! For a long time it was the pizza from Dino's, but it has deteriorated incredibly over the years (small pizza, bad dough, expensive price). The manufacturer's pizza is fluffy, tastes super fresh and the price-performance ratio is 100% right here. The service is 1a! You feel super comfortable as a guest. This will be our new regular pizzeria! 10/10 😍

We ordered a vegan pizza to take away. There was even vegan cheese on top. The price is a bit high, but the pizza was still very tasty - for us, the best vegan pizza we have eaten abroad in East Frisia and the surrounding area. It's great that vegan options are offered right on the doorstep. The pizza was a bit soggy in the middle, but still very tasty and very filling. We will be back!

Great food, but unfortunately not worth the price... a little over 16 euros for a spaghetti carbonara and then a children's portion is too much... the pizza was perfect, but very expensive for 22 euros! The “background music” is also much too loud and is reminiscent of house music... you can do that, but it's also cheaper...

If you tip 3 euros, the staff's eyebrows will go up. Aggressive selling and loud. If you like it... have fun!

I was satisfied with the food. Service was sometimes very unfriendly. First, people made fun of the choice of drink (alcohol-free Radler), then complained about the €3 tip ("I won't accept anything less than 10%!"). For me it wasn't a nice experience.

Aufgrund Empfehlung haben wir dort gegessen. Die Bedienungen sind von übertrieben höflich bis genervt alle vertreten. Essen war gut, teils gewöhnungsbedürftig: süße Zwiebeln, Gorgonzola und Kirschtomaten auf Pizza Tonno. Von "Tonno" war nix mehr vorhanden. Bei der Pasta mit Gorgonzola und Birnen/Walnuss fehlten die Walnüsse komplett. Die Pizzen kamen 25!! Minuten nach der Pasta. Sorry, geht gar nicht. Ausrede: Der Pizzabäcker ist alleine. Hochsaison, kein Tisch ohne Reservierung möglich, Leute, das ist bekannt, dann stelle ich mehr ein. Für diese drei Gerichte (ohne Getränke) legt man 50+ Euronen hin. Deftig, dafür muss mehr kommen. Unser Fazit: es gibt bessere Restaurants, hier ist "mehr Schein als Sein" und viel Gesabbel und Süßholzgeraspel.

The food, once pizza, once pasta, once chicken with risotto were delicious and came at the same time. However, the service clearly left a lot to be desired. There was a lack of attention when ordering the first time and re-ordering drinks. The table had already been cleared, even though people were still eating. There was an incorrect "pro forma" receipt before payment. Even after payment, the tip given was missing from the receipt and had gone into the waiter's cash register. It wasn't really clear who the waiters' whispers were aimed at during the visit. But it was obvious that it was derogatory and aimed at guests. Even if it is of course a tourist restaurant, an address like that of the Düsseldorf owner of the restaurant on the hospitality receipt would also have been fun for business people. The conscious indoor atmosphere of the restaurant is only fun when well-filled. Conversations over dinner are not easy, almost impossible in a group. The price-performance ratio fits Düsseldorf or Cologne. In the immediate vicinity, however, a glass of wine is two euros cheaper and a vegetarian pasta dish costs 18 euros plus 2 euros for a mini bowl of parmesan - an announcement that is not justified by this service.

I'll keep it short: food was average. My Margherita pizza was ok. The pasta dish for 2 with buffalo mozzarella was disappointing. There was a maximum of half a mozzarella per person and the sauce was extremely oily. Price-performance ratio is therefore so-so for Norderney. But what really wasn't nice was the service. I like friendliness and a joke sometimes, but it was rather intrusive and unpleasant. Just over it. That was the deciding factor in not going there anymore.

Man wird als FREUND begrüßt - aber der Schein trügt. Die Mannschaft hat gute Schauspieler. Diese negative Erfahrung haben wir gemacht. Wir haben ca 1h auf unser Essen gewartet. Keiner hat sich zwischendurch um unseren Tisch gekümmert. Wahrscheinlich war unsere Bestellung wertmäßig zu klein. Mit zunehmender Zeit die wir hier verbracht haben - konnte man einiges hören und sehen. Es ist schon bemerkenswert, wenn sich Service Personal darüber unterhält und jubelt - wieviel man schon für eines der teuersten Gerichte auf der Speisekarte gebucht hat - in einer Art u Weise die wahrscheinlich keinen gefällt - schon gar nicht den Gästen. Auch am Nebentisch haben sich Gäste beschwert was unseren Eindruck verstärkte. Das Essen war okay - es wurde nachdem wir nachgefragt hatten - 15 Minuten später serviert. Ein Aushängeschild war das GANZE nicht. Wir können aus unserer Erfahrung dieses Lokal nicht weiter empfehlen. Da gibt es auf Norderney BESSERES!

Nice location and nice service. However, instead of a children's margarita, a normal one was prepared. It can happen, I don't have a problem with it. I find it a little unfortunate to make the pizza only €1 cheaper than the normal one. Unfortunately, both pizzas had no taste either. Both pizzas were completely lacking in spices.
