It's ok. Wouldn't go there anymore. Were a larger group. The children were the last to get food.

We ate here twice and felt very comfortable. Price/performance ratio is right, the portions are appropriate. The ambience is a little old but the atmosphere is still pleasant.

If you're going to eat, there's room, if you don't, there's no place. That's it. So vomit the Balkans and so on.

I ate the best food in Germany here – simply fantastic!

We celebrated a wonderful birthday here, the food and service was great, there are parking spaces right next to the restaurant, if you like Balkan cuisine you will get your money's worth here

It was wonderful! We just had dinner at "Makedonia" and are very happy about our decision to go there. It was very tasty. The service was quick and extremely friendly. 100% barrier-free restaurant. Toilet not accessible with every wheelchair. Very friendly and courteous staff. We had 4 different dishes, all well prepared and very digestible. The food was actually good, but my wife and I visited the porcelain factory very often over the next few days. Was very unpleasant for us. Maybe next time it will be better, because the waiter didn't have his best day either.

Large selection of tasty dishes, there are also vegetarian options, and a ramp makes it easy to get into the restaurant even with a wheelchair. The prices are fair and the waiting times are okay. On weekends it is very crowded and therefore quite loud. There is an ice cream menu for those who still need dessert. There are some free parking spaces in front of the restaurant. Despite the fact that we were a larger group, the service had an overview and implemented everything to our satisfaction. There was a little surprise for the birthday child! :-) All in all, highly recommended. Happy to come back!

The food wasn't as good as I remembered, but I hadn't been there since the army left Heidelberg. The atmosphere was still the same and the service was adequate, again this could be due to our late arrival. Tastes are different so I would recommend giving it a try.

If you don't go there that often, the food is very good. BUT Somehow everything tastes the same, it's very rich but it's more like Greek.

We were there with a larger group. It was probably very busy in general as there were some waiting times, which started when ordering food. Rather inflexible with small requests/changes, which is a shame and didn't make a good impression. (For those things where changes would be possible) My starter was okay for my taste, the mushrooms could have been a little more cooked (stuffed mushrooms). The main course was very tasty and the salmon was highly recommended. The service was very stressed, especially at the beginning, but this got a little better over time. I don't know how to always touch guests and not everyone likes it, especially not with the bad air and heat in the restaurant. The dark colors make the place a bit oppressive. But that's just my feeling. For me the price-performance ratio was only right for the main course.

very good authentic cuisine, we always find something to eat here. This year we have, among other things. Celebrated several birthdays, the service was always great and the food was delicious. Macedonia is also a part of our childhood for all of us, as we were always here with our grandparents.

Ambience on the terrace good, food mixed: vegetarian cordon bleu, children's schnitzel and spaetzle good, gnocchi underground. Very special understanding of service: ordered a Sprite and a water for the children and asked if the two could be mixed directly so that we had two less sweet Sprites, this was confirmed. Two sprites were then calculated without comment. When asked, the reason was that the boss had just decided that it should be calculated that way. No card payment due to technical defect - according to the note, it's been a long time.

We had pre-booked a table. When I saw the building from the outside, I was very suspicious. We probably wouldn't have come there without a reservation. But what would have been a real culinary loss. The furnishings correspond to the 80s. Tables and chairs are from the same period. The rooms are designed in the style of traditional ballrooms. Just as I know it from wedding events as a child. The service was outstanding! The waitress knew exactly who ordered what, even though she served several tables. She was always friendly and not intrusive. The FOOD was unexpectedly VERY GOOD. My beef steak was cooked to perfection, and the salmon was also perfectly cooked. In short everything was perfect. The price-performance ratio was OK. We would definitely go there again.

Very tasty food at reasonable prices. The portions are normal size but high quality. Service was very nice and friendly, unfortunately a few drinks were forgotten and we then ordered twice. The ambience wasn't like that... it's just a club restaurant with a lot of dark wood.

Opening times are incorrect on Google. We drove there specifically and the front door was locked at 10:15 p.m.

A nice little restaurant and walking distance from our hotel. A wide selection of items on the menu. My brother and I tried the soup, salad and schnitzel dishes and a wine/beer. The Jager Art schnitzel was grilled and served with a mushroom sauce which was very salty for my own taste but all in all still a yummy dish. The Spicy Schnitzel was truly spicy and was good, served with fries. The dishes were well sized and extremely filling! Staff was nice and spoke English. Notes: • This restaurant only accepts cash as payment. • If you are sensitive to a hotter room/setting, this place was a bit toasty on a 15⁰ evening.

We went to Makedonia for lunch. The service was friendly and quick, the food (cevapcici, mixed salad and potpourri plate) was very tasty. We had nice weather and had a great spot in the shade on the terrace. Anyone who finds the interior no longer up to date will probably have to write their review to the club's board. The tenant can hardly do anything here on his own. Everything was clean and the toilets were spotless too. I understand even less reviews that find the prices excessive - I have rarely eaten so well at such low prices in recent years. We will be back definitely! A little tip to the landlord: it's a shame that EC card payments are not possible, but it should be clearly communicated on the card and on the website. So, finally a meal that was delicious without exception. I had the senior plate with veal and spaetzle. The meat really tasted like meat. The restaurant was a bit louder due to the large number of guests, but whatever. Anytime again 😊

Very cheap and good restaurant near the Leonardo Hotel. I had the so-called Potpuri with different types of meat and fries. It was freshly prepared and cheap compared to other restaurants. Together with a large drink 20 euros is a more than reasonable price on a business trip. All dishes were fresh and you can see into the kitchen. For a sports home it is absolutely top and the quality is more than convincing. There was also the classic farewell schnapps. Overall, definitely a recommendation and the tip from the Rotary friends was more than worth it.

Unfortunately the atmosphere is not very friendly. Cramped tables and dark colors and very old fashioned. But you get the food very quickly. But also for a proud price. Card payment is not possible. But it was no problem for the staff that we left the restaurant to get cash.

A classic communist tavern. The restaurant is a real hole. Big pieces of meat, but not fresh but thawed. 90% of the meat is pork. Some older waiter is crazy. The prices compared to the quality of the food are still high. I don't recommend it.

Very nice family style restaurant. The Goulash was great and I really enjoyed the lamb and rosemary potatoes. Do note that they only accept cash. My server did make an exception and accepted payment via PayPal. They are not used to proving to-go containers as I was given a paper plate and foil to take home.

Ich kenne das Makedonia schon sehr lange, war aber auch schon lange nicht mehr da. Trotzdem hat es nichts von seinem Charme und dem unglaublich bemühten & freundlichen Personal verloren. Sogar einen Rollstuhllift gibt es mittlerweile. Zwar könnte das Restaurant ein bisschen mehr 'Farbe' gebrauchen, aber gerade für Feiern ist es immer noch perfekt. Den Stern Abzug gibt's zum einen wegen der fehlenden 'Farbe', zum anderen aber, auch wenn es immerhin explizit gekennzeichnete vegetarische Gerichte gibt, dafür, dass es kein einziges veganes Gericht gibt. Ja, ich weiß, Mazedonien ist Grill und das können sie auch wirklich gut, aber auch Gemüse kann gegrillt werden genau wie Tofu oder Fleischersatz, es könnte Bohnenmus oder -eintopf auf der Karte stehen etc. Aber: wer fragt bekommt den Beilagensalat problemlos mit Essig-Öl-Dressing & das Knoblauchbrot hält, was es verspricht. Ich hoffe, das Makedonia wirds noch lange geben.

Sehr freundliches Personal, obwohl viel zu tun war. Bei Änderung der Speisen ein wenig Aufpreis, aber alles wurde zur Zufriedenheit erfüllt. Immer wieder.

Leckere Speisen zu relativ günstigen Preisen, und ein flotter und freundlicher Service. Zugegeben das Ambiente im Innenbereich ist etwas eingestaubt. Dennoch gerne wieder einmal!

Wir waren vom Essen so begeistert, dass wir dort in kurzer Zeit bereits mehrmals waren! Das Restaurant selbst ist vom Ambiente jetzt nicht der Knaller, passt aber ein wenig zur mazedonischen Mentalität und Leben. Das ist nicht negativ, sondern eher im positiven Sinne zu verstehen. Wer einmal in Mazedonien in einem heimischen, kein Touri-Restaurant essen war, weiß was ich meine :). Der Service war im allgemeinen gut. Allerdings werden die Vorspeisen zu zügig abgeräumt. Noch nicht mal alles aufgegessen, da steht schon jemand zum abräumen parat. Etwas ungemütlich und nicht sehr nett. Die Positionen sind ausreichend und machen satt. Wir werden definitiv des öfteren kommen!
