You can't go to Chambino with the same expectations or memories of Chambao, diagonally opposite... It's really just an offshoot in every respect. The food is just okay, the tables are sticky, the service is very clumsy and amateurish and the ambience is meaningless... As we all know, you only have one chance to make a good first impression... unfortunately Chambino didn't manage to do that for us.

The food is good! (If you can get a waiter to serve you!!) Make sure you have enough time to wait for a server to notice you! Aprox30 min wait 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Unfortunately I can't judge the food because we were asked in a very rude manner to vacate the place outside, as it was reserved (without a sign) and to either sit inside or leave. We decided to leave and won't be visiting the local place again in the future.

Unfortunately very disappointed We wanted something to drink and eat as a family but the first thing my 6 year old son had to do was go to the toilet, which he wasn't allowed to do because we weren't guests. Even if we weren't paying guests, that's not hospitality. In this day and age, not allowing a little boy to use the toilet is very questionable. 0-8-15 Italians Overpriced Not recommendable

Restaurant with a spectacular location, the peppers and croquettes are delicious. Also as a final touch, exquisite and professional service.

Monday evening in Heidelberg. Friendly welcome from the staff at Chambino. Without asking, the flowers they had brought were immediately provided with water. As a starter there was a Spanish tapas platter. It was exactly to our taste. The Chateaubriand that followed was exceptionally good and cooked to perfection - no one will be able to imitate them in a hurry. There was also a very good recommendation for a suitable red wine. It was a successful evening. Recommended wholeheartedly. We will be back. Thank you for the lovely evening.

We celebrated our wedding with +- 40 people in the Chambino as a closed group. From the communication in advance to the ambience on site, everything was perfect! The guests were very enthusiastic, the tapas and the pre-selected food and wine selection were super delicious. Thank you for making this day so positive :-)

Bestes Restaurant in und um Heidelberg

Durch Regen zufällig dort gelandet, dann bei tollem Service hervorragende Tapas und gute Getränke

Nette kleine Café-Bar mit leckeren Tapas, aber auch anderen Gerichten.

Service wirkt gestresst, aber freundlich. Leider wurde bei unserer Bestellung etwas vergessen. Ambiente und Ausstattung super

We got there, sat down and they took out drinks order 2 mins later. Great! We got our drinks another 2 minutes later. Great again! Then we waited 30 minutes for the waiter to come back to take our food order. When he did, he told us that the menu was 70% sold out and that they only had some cold and smaller dishes left. This was at 7PM. Thank you for not letting us know as we sat down. We ordered some anti pasti - only thing that resembled a main dish. We then waited, and waited, and waited. 40 mins later we got the simple tapas plate. The food was okay, nothing more. We then asked to pay, and we waited. Then we asked again. Then waited again. Aaand we asked a third time. Nothing. We gave up and got up. Only as we were about to leave, the waiter came to let us pay. A wonderful waste of time that was.

Sehr schönes Restaurant in bester Lage. Wir haben uns zu viert einmal durch die Tapas -Karte gegessen und waren begeistert. Es war für jeden etwas dabei und auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt unterm Strich. Wer zum Beispiel an einem langen Tag in Heidelberg ein bisschen Entspannung am Nachmittag sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben!

Es geht immer besser aber das Chambino bietet eine gute Mischung und ein angenehmes Preis / Leistungsverhältnis. Highlight war die dunkle / schwarze Aioli mit fermentierten Knoblauch

Super Tapas. Mal was anderes. Der Zitronengras Hummus war sensationell, ebenso die Kartoffeln mit der Mojo Verde! Es war alles lecker! Der Koch super freundlich, die Bedienung sehr nett! Ich komme sicherlich wieder.

The cheese platter is ridiculous for 16 euros, literally 4 tiny pieces of cheese. Service was unfriendly, a short Asian waitress was literally rolling her eyes at every request. View and location are good.

Friendly service, delicious food and a cozy setting. Make a reservation it is worth it. We went for a number of dishes to share and the food was packed with flavour making it morish and a reason we will be back.

Just loved the vibe of the bistro, very friendly staff, awesome view of the Neckar river & old bridge of Heidelberg. I would cherish our visit to Chambino forever.

Schönes kleines Lokal, leckeres Essen, könnten teilweise aber größere Portionen sein. Preis-Leistung vollkommen in Ordnung, gute Getränkeauswahl und zuvorkommendes Personal

Kann mich in keinem Punkt beklagen. Wir waren Tapas essen mit Cocktails und es hat echt super geschmeckt. Preis-Leistung geht voll in Ordnung, das Ambiente ist cool und jede Bedienung war richtig nett. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Heerlijk. Spareribs kwamen los van bot. De steak werd gebracht met al gelijk de vraag of het goed was zo.

Efter at have ventet 1/2 time på at bestille mad, fik vi at vide, at man kun kunne bestille 2 ting fra menukortet denne dag. Vi bestilte så denne pålæg- og ostetallerken, og der gik yderligere 3/4 time, før den kom. Kvaliteten af maden var dog god. Dvs usædvanlig langsom betjening
