Tolles Frühstücksbuffet und sehr angenehme Atmosphäre 😊

Es hat alles gepasst. Sehr schönes Restaurant, freundliche Mitarbeiter, gutes Essen und günstiger Preis.

Wir waren heute mit vier Personen im Restaurant sehr unzufrieden. Der Krabben Burger war lieblos dahin geklatscht. Die Pettis auf dem Grill waren schon fast schwarz, die kalten Krabben aus dem Kühlschrank drauf Spiegelei und das ganze hat 1 Stunde Wartezeit beansprucht. Lachsfilet auf Bandnudeln war ebenfalls nicht dem Restaurant würdig. Das Gericht war nicht richtig abgeschmeckt. Es war eine dünne Tomatensoße, ohne Kräuter und Geschmack, und dann auch nur lauwarm. Andere Gäste haben noch einen Brotkorb bekommen. Auch hier wurde bei unserem Tisch verzichtet. Als kleine Wiedergutmachung wurde das Getränk (eine Wasserflasche)von der der Rechnung abgezogen. Begründung, wir haben heute viele Gäste. Hier ist jedoch anzumerken, dass die meisten Gäste nach uns gekommen sind und ihre Speisen wiederum vor uns erhalten haben. Wir waren schon öfter im Hotel als auch im Restaurant gewesen. Nach diesem Aufenthalt hat sich dieses Wohl erledigt. Schade, da es eigentlich ein schönes Haus ist. So kann man sehen, wie Mitarbeiter oder auch Köche den Gast vergraulen können.

Kurzfristige Online-Reservierung hat super geklappt, Personal Vorort sehr nett und kompetent. Leider war beim Ofengemüse die Pastinaken etwas holzig/zäh aber ansonsten alle Gänge super.

Wir waren schon sehr oft Gast im Restaurant Leuchtfeuer und freuen uns jedes mal über die mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail frisch zubereiteten Speisen. Hervorzuheben ist vor allen Dingen das super freundliche und sehr kompetente Serviceteam. Hier stimmt einfach Alles und wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch!

Wir haben mit 4 Personen das Frühstücksbüffet genossen und waren recht zufrieden. Die Begrüßung war freundlich und der Tisch angenehm gewählt. Das Büffet im Nebenraum war sehr gut bestückt und wurde kontinuierlich nachgefüllt. Das Personal war präsent und gab freundlich Auskunft. Wir werden bei nächster Gelegenheit Wiederkommen.

Super netter Empfang. Tolles Ambiente. Die Teller so schön angerichtet, dass man das Kunstwerk eigentlich nicht zerstören möchte. Aber leider hat es zu gut geschmeckt. Vielen für den schönen Abend.

Ein Besuch im Leuchtfeuer ist für uns immer etwas Besonderes... das Ambiente...das freundliche Personal und natürlich das Essen. Liebevoll und ansprechend serviert. Toll zubereitet und immer ein Geschmackserlebnis. Gerne immer wieder.

Hier kann man alles loben, Super Ambiente mit toller Aussicht, das Essen ist sehr lecker 😋 die Getränke toll und das Personal aufmerksam und freundlich. So macht es Spaß, Dankeschön.

Vor einigen Tagen war ich mit meinem Mann wieder einmal bei Leuchtfeuer essen. Das Ambiente ist wirklich gelungen – besonders die Strandbar, in der wir saßen. Sie wurde vor kurzem renoviert und ist jetzt super gemütlich geworden, mit einer entspannten Atmosphäre zum Wohlfühlen. Der Service ist durchweg sehr gut und aufmerksam. Das Team ist freundlich, herzlich und hat immer ein Auge dafür, dass es den Gästen an nichts fehlt, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu wirken. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die hervorragende Qualität und Auswahl der Speisen. Die Gerichte sind saisonal, frisch und mit viel Sorgfalt zubereitet. Mein persönliches Highlight ist das vegane Gemüsecurry – absolut fantastisch! Das Gemüse ist perfekt gegart, schön knackig und voller Geschmack. Für mich eines der besten Restaurants hier im Ort – ich komme immer wieder gerne zurück!

Tolles Restaurant. Gemütlich zum Sitzen, freundliches und aufmerksames Personal und kreative, sehr leckere Küche. Das Essen wird schön angerichtet und die Portionen sind super. Auch für Veganer und Vegetarier ist etwas dabei.

Ein wirklich schlechtes Restaurant. Sie akzeptieren keinerlei Kartenzahlung, und der Manager war sehr unfreundlich und unhöflich.

Sorry aber komplett überteuert und schwach. 8.50 für ein Brotkorb ( je 3 Scheiben Bagette und Vollkorn) und zwei langweilige Dips. Flannkuchen war zu lange im Ofen und an den Ecken verbrannt.., Fisch langweilig. Salat sollte mit Ziegenkäse sein...das war gar nichts...wirklich schade weil die Location und das Hotel sehr schön sind..

Einfach alles super !! Ich hatte einen Burger mit Friten und mehrere Long Ireland. Alles war bestens! Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Bedienung, ich wünschte es wäre immer so hier oben!!!

Eine sehr interessante Kombination von köstlichen Lebensmitteln läßt das Essen zu einem absoluten Genuss werden. Der Service ist sehr gut, nett aufmerksam. Das Ambiente fügt alles zu einem perfekten Abend zusammen. Top Team, top Essen, top Atmosphäre.

Wirklich sehr leckeres Essen! Wir hatten uns eine Vorspeise geteilt und haben direkt die eine Portion schon aufgeteilt und auf zwei Tellern schön angerichtet bekommen. Hauptgang und Cocktails waren super lecker und die Bedienung zuvorkommend :) Gerne wieder! Auch ein Plus: Klopapier von Goldeimer und Wasser von Viva con aqua

Wir hatten eine schöne Weihnachtsfeier mit sehr gutem Essen und audmerksamen Service. Bis zum nächsten Mal.

Schönes Ambiente. Sehr gute Qualität. Und das Personal einfach spitze. So etwas von flexibel und aufmerksam. Preis Leistungverhältnis stimmt.

Restaurant mit einem sehr schönen Ambiente und freundlichem Personal. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Und das zu einem guten Preis. Wir waren im Dunkeln da. Tagsüber hat man wahrscheinlich einen guten Ausblick auf die Medem. Das ist uns leider entgangen. Aber wir werden irgendwann noch einmal im Hellen vorbeikommen.

Simply terrible. The waitress told us they didn't have sweet potatoes, even though it was listed on the menu. The food selection, given the prices, leaves a lot to be desired. Salad should be called salad, and not something else. We left.

I went there for breakfast and definitely recommend it. A very extensive selection with high-quality products. Everything was delicious. The staff was also extremely friendly and attentive. Ten out of ten.

A very nice ambiance, Nordic and modern, on the Medem. Very tasty and unique dishes at a great price for these days. Our daughter had four fish fingers and mashed potatoes with chives, plus a free mini Magnum ice cream for €5.50. You can't complain at all. Very nice outdoor area with beach chairs on the Medem. Highly recommended.

I just had a quick coffee and sat in the garden. It's a very nice hotel. Outside, there's a beautiful view of a small river with canoe rentals. Great.

We rented a canoe here and paddled along the nearby river. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I have to say, I'd like to give the food a sixth star. What I like to do is dress simply and eat high-quality food. And then you see how I'm treated. And here, it's simply fantastic. The service is fantastic, polite, friendly, accommodating, and very friendly. The food, as already mentioned, unfortunately doesn't deserve a sixth star. We will definitely go back.

Beautiful restaurant in the hotel on the banks of the Medem, with very good food at really reasonable prices. The 3-course menu for €39 was absolutely delicious, plentiful, well-presented, and served very hot (I haven't experienced that very often). The drinks selection was very good. Unfortunately, the Primitivo red wine was sold out on the second evening. The service offered a really great alternative. However, you should make a reservation in advance, as many hotel guests dine there. Please keep up the good work.

The location is great, the staff, including the manager and his wife, are very friendly and more than accommodating. We booked a room for my mother, and everything was done to make her stay as comfortable as possible, despite her needing a walker. Special requests, such as an additional stool in the bathroom, were immediately accommodated. As a highlight, we were even able to get a used beach chair, as they were replacing all the ones on site. Yesterday we went there again for dinner, and the staff was once again incredibly accommodating and friendly. The food was also amazing, the wine was great, and the portion size was… okay.

I think we had the best spot outside in our beach chairs. We were warmly welcomed and quickly seated. Unfortunately, it took half an hour for the menu to arrive (even though there were only three other guests). We wanted to have a few cocktails explained to us, but they rolled their eyes. Unfortunately, after placing our order, we had to wait another 40 minutes for the first two drinks to arrive. But the wait was worth it! Very, very tasty cocktails. Please bring your time, patience, and plenty of money. The price was a bit high per cocktail, but you don't want to be like that. You can definitely visit sometime.

The food was delicious, the service was very attentive and friendly. I was given the opportunity to eat with my daughter in the “main room” or choose to go to a smaller area. I found that to be very thoughtful. Thank you for that. The ambience was created with a lot of heart. If I go on holiday here again at some point I will definitely come again.

I had the pleasure of dining at the Leuchtfeuer restaurant in Otterndorf and can only recommend it! The ambience is cozy and inviting – perfect for a relaxed meal in a pleasant atmosphere. The menu offers a great selection of regional and seasonal dishes that are freshly prepared and taste excellent. I was particularly impressed by the fish dishes - perfectly cooked and prepared with attention to detail. The meat dishes were also prepared to perfection and of high quality. Service was friendly and attentive, although it can take a little longer during busy times. A reservation is therefore recommended. Overall, a great restaurant for anyone who wants to enjoy good German cuisine in a relaxed environment. I'll definitely come

Very cozy restaurant! We were there for a hearty Sunday breakfast and were not disappointed. Everything you can imagine is there in abundance and is always replenished. Friendly, attentive staff. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Nice atmosphere, great rolls for breakfast. The salads for the breakfast buffet should be stirred once before placing them in the buffet. I was bothered by the skin that formed on the surface. Otherwise it was a great breakfast there.

Very friendly staff and good cuisine

First of all: from a culinary point of view, it's really, really good if you use salt and pepper. Otherwise: “Clothes make the man” and “dogs are not welcome” was our impression. We certainly won't be coming back and are happy to leave our money elsewhere. The staff seemed arrogant and unwelcoming...we know other places. September 1st: we booked based on a recommendation, well in advance of our arrival. When we book, we always mention our dog and the desire not to get in the way of any other guests or employees. We were promised a place based on the weather when we made a reservation several weeks in advance, and there was no mention of the fact that dogs were not allowed in the restaurant. It supports the decision to no longer recommend this location.

Very, very tasty food, a little more expensive, but definitely appropriate for the atmosphere and especially the excellent staff! We'll be back!

Very tasty food! The appetizer plate for two made a big impression on us visually. Everything from the pumpkin soup to the marinated salmon tasted delicious! The “North Sea” tarte flambée with cranes and salmon tasted very tasty. Pike perch fillet with hazelnut crust on risotto was very tender and versatile with different flavors on the plate. Value for money considering the quality is very good.

This is just a review about the canoe rental there. We didn't use the restaurant itself. We (4 people) were able to book a canoe via a telephone reservation. The lady at the reception was very nice and accommodating. For 2 hours we paid 25 euros for a 4 seater. The trip on the Medem was very nice and quiet. Overall a nice experience and recommended.

Modern restaurant with an interesting menu. The baked oyster mushroom and celery puree dish was delicious. The service was very nice and accommodating. The prices are reasonable, but like almost everywhere these days, they are relatively high.

Today we had six adults and a toddler for dinner. The food was tasty, but unfortunately no longer hot, which was probably due to the staff being very uncoordinated. The staff often forgot orders, so you had to keep asking, each time a different service came. The child was served last.😡 Given the prices, the service should definitely be better. We are a little disappointed.
