Solid Italian restaurant with very friendly staff. Always busy. Large menu selection. Good wines.

Dessert and drinks were perfect. The staff was great 👍, it couldn't be better. Thank you.

We happened upon this restaurant today and were very pleasantly surprised. The staff are incredibly friendly and personable. The food is simply outstanding. The excellent Italian cuisine with a selection of classic and special dishes is highly recommended. The pasta parcels with truffle filling and sage butter were especially world-class. Overall, a clear 5 stars for the review.

We waited 45 minutes for our food and then didn't get it at the same time. When my food finally arrived, the Parmesan cheese (on the fiorellini) was moldy. That shouldn't have happened, but it can happen. However, the staff handled the situation extremely poorly! I ended up losing my appetite. They also ruined our mood with their drama.

We landed in this great restaurant shortly before lunch and were warmly greeted with a greeting from the kitchen. Our culinary journey continued with the diverse menu - regional/seasonal cuisine is very important here! At the end of the day, you can taste the homemade limoncello and chat with the friendly waiter and listen attentively to the family tradition. We would be happy to come again on our next city trip - warm greetings from Kaiserslautern

Great restaurant, the food was super tasty

I can't recommend it. Even though the restaurant had free tables, people were squeezed into a row next to each other. Dirty tablecloth, 6 tortelloni for 13.50 euros. Was very happy to just get out of there. What is partly described in the reviews here as “quaint”: It is a slightly better pub, but not a restaurant to enjoy a nice evening

Little is true here now: We waited over three quarters of an hour for our food. The pizza is so small that it didn't fill me up and the taste was average at best. The prices on the Internet are not correct, everything has become significantly more expensive. The service was nice, but that doesn't help since you're there to eat. Unfortunately the shop no longer has anything to do with the old Tosca.

I'm sorry, but we really can't talk about an Italian restaurant. The pizza is frozen. The service is very, very slow. I cannot recommend this restaurant to gourmets accustomed to real Italian cuisine.

The food suited me 4.5/5 and the waiting time was also acceptable. The service took a while. Probably understandable in connection with the trade fair from my point of view. The atmosphere was very nice. No card payment possible!

More than 1 hour of waiting for pasta and pizza…

We were very well served by the young man. The food was very good, we had several courses. Unfortunately we couldn't pay by card and had to scrape together cash, which was embarrassing for us. It's a shame actually...

We stayed at the nearby Holiday Inn and were looking for a restaurant within walking distance. We came across this place after looking at the menu on Google. We set off without a reservation and reached our destination after about 10 minutes. We arrived shortly after 6 p.m. with two people. We received a very friendly welcome and were assigned a table that was beautifully set. We found the atmosphere to be cozy, albeit rustic. The place already exudes a certain quality. After we sat down, we were handed the menu, and shortly afterwards a small greeting came from the kitchen with a friendly smile. The menu is more than comprehensive, pizza, pasta 🍝 sure 👍 but there is much more. Homemade ravioli with great ingredients, lamb dishes, steaks, fish and much more. The prices are in the upper third but in our opinion the price-performance ratio is right. So our soups were very tasty. The ravioli is great 😊. Freshly cooked and delicious. The quantities of the dishes tempt you to have dessert.🍮 Finally, the obligatory coffee and espresso were the perfect finale. As mentioned, a little more expensive but there are also possible alternatives to make it cheaper. We can only recommend the kitchen and thank you for the hospitable treatment. Not always like that today. Happy again, keep it up 👍.

There are still old prices on the internet. Already intense. 0.25l Schumacher €3.90. I found the pizza dough to take some getting used to. Dry and firm. There was no airy edge and the topping lacked juiciness. Because Italians probably don't make dough.

After a call and asking where the room was, I was informed of it with this wording: “Google it, dude” so I ended the conversation by hanging up and then got a call back and the employee insulted and threatened me!!! Such primitive…and associated behavior from a service provider…. 100% not recommended P.S. Ad is out

We ate very well. The service and wine selection were excellent. Our Christmas dinner with the Jonges lapwings also takes place here. Very good public accessibility.

Around average Italian food. The pasta was quite good but the Tiramisu was too sweet and had no taste of coffee. I got a big chunk of a large toblerone with my coffee but it tasted a bit old. Also as a goodie to the coffee it was just odd. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the interior gives a nice almost cozy atmosphere.

They are very dirty, the short waitress takes her snot out and sticks it on the plate seen by my eyes. eyes do not want to charge large bills by card to keep the benefit they are racist and the wine bottles are refilled it is a restaurant scam the food is super terrible

A really nice evening with lovingly prepared food and friendly staff. You can also go here for a romantic dinner. I have nothing to complain about. I think its price is worth it.

Very mediocre salad on a terrace with shouting men on a busy road. The waiter meant well, but this was really only out of necessity, not for the fun of eating there.

Service and kitchen very good. Pasta dishes in particular are very good, especially the tagliatelle. The bean soup, pizzas and and and... Everything was great. You can't neglect the ambience either, subtle plant arrangements. There is also a small bar where you can just have a drink. There are also seats outside, for example for smokers, provided the weather is good, of course. Visit the great restaurant yourself and taste whether it suits you.

Very expensive and not good. We were five to have dîner there. We had a plate of anti pasta for 5 made of industrial ham and canned veggies and shrimps but vharge 100 Euros !! Then the main courses, pasta, were not tasteful and overcooked...

I went last week. I personally liked the decoration and the friendly workers. The food is worthless and very expensive!! My boyfriend ordered the wild boar meat dish and that was NOT wild boar, very poor quality and the dish, for what it was, almost €40!!! I ordered pasta fruti di mare and it was another disappointment… Who would think of adding crab sticks to this dish?? Nothing fresh and €20 a plate…. Without a doubt a bad experience regarding food. I will not return even if they invite me…

I give two stars, because the staff was really friendly and understanding. But unfortunately I was very disappointed with the quality of the food, for which I had to wait about 45 minutes. In general, I'm willing to wait longer for good food. But the pizza I got was, in my opinion, based on a lot of ready-made products and was even cold in the middle. Even the utilization, which was rather low, does not justify the waiting time or quality For a price of >10€ (food only) you simply don't get the advertised quality here.

I've eaten here several times now and I've always enjoyed it very much. In my opinion, it's actually the best Italian restaurant in the area. The staff is always friendly and accommodating.

What a disaster this had become. Place lost all its glory and we are coming here for years during the Prowein event. First eve we paid 4500 euro for 15pax and last night we were scammed 7500 for 20 pax. 600 euro for simple starters and wines on the bill we did not even had. Thinking we are stupid as more than half of the group Americans. Never come back again and this was a +10 years tradition

Unfortunately, this wasn't a pleasant evening for me. The food (walleye and tuna) was mediocre and the atmosphere was far too loud and restless. Example: The people at the next table were watching cell phone videos with sound and had a dog with them that put both its muzzle and paws on the tables. For me, neither belongs in a restaurant. The service was a bit understaffed but very friendly. Overall, there are much better alternatives in Düsseldorf. Especially for the price.

Haben für Silvester reserviert, erst per Mail und dann nochmal nachträglich telefonisch. Auf beiden Wegen wurde uns nicht mitgeteilt, dass es ein ausgewähltes Silvester Menü gibt. Da das Menü teuer ist, wenn man bedenkt dass man die angebotenen Speisen nicht mag. Sehr schlechter Service!

Nog nooit zo slecht gegeten, melanzane opgewarmd in de magnetron. Deze was nog koud. Ook de foccacia was niet vers, evenals de scampi en calamari.

Das Restaurant kenne ich schon seit 1979 als ich nach Duesseldorf kam.Es ist ein Restaurant zum Wohlfühlen,die langjährige Inhaberin eine ueberaus liebenswerte Dame.Die Speisen exzellent und immer frisch zubereitet.In diesem Restaurant ist alles stimmig.

I must strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. It's a complete waste of money and a mockery of authentic Italian cuisine. Believe me, if you appreciate genuine Italian food, you'll see right through this sham. I'm baffled to see that this restaurant has a rating of 4.3 stars! This wasn't my first visit, regrettably. It was recommended to us, swayed by its closeness to our Mercure hotel. My experience last year was appalling, but somehow, this year, they've managed to plummet even lower in standards. Let me share our recent ordeal: 1. I reserved a table for 10 via email, receiving a confirmation (see attached picture). 2. Upon arrival, they bluntly denied our reservation, despite our email confirmation. After a grueling 30-minute wait during MEDICA—one of the city's largest trade fairs when everything is booked—we reluctantly accepted a table. The staff's rudeness was astonishing. They even blamed us for emailing instead of calling. Absolutely surreal! 3. At the table, it was a 20-minute wait just to get menus, which we eventually had to fetch ourselves. Another 20 minutes passed before they took our order. 4. Unexpectedly, they served us 3 Antipasti plates we never ordered, likely as a poor attempt to compensate for the initial mishap. Yet, they had the audacity to charge us €219 for these, including three small pizza bread baskets. We protested, and they reduced it to €185—a still ludicrous sum for such subpar fare. 5. The main course arrived after an almost 2-hour delay. We entered at 8 and were served past 10! 6. The final bill was €518.50 for abysmal food and service. In contrast, just across the street is "Trattoria Zucchero," a far superior restaurant. I had recommended it, but unfortunately, it's closed on Mondays. To reiterate, if you value excellent cuisine and service, please steer clear of this establishment. Consider yourself duly warned should you decide otherwise.

Nettes Restaurant mit fantastischem Essen und einer großartigen Bewirtung. Die Chefin und die Angestellten sind witzig, sympathisch und schnell.

Immer wieder ein Besuch wert. Das Essen hat eine sehr gute Qualität, der Koch versteht sein Geschäft. Aber auch der Service ist sehr gut, sehr aufmerksam und äußerst freundlich. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.
