Very good Italian restaurant in the heart of Unterbach!

The service was excellent, the atmosphere was friendly and informal, and they accommodated my parents' requests. Despite the restaurant being very busy, the staff were always on top of things and provided feedback. Here's to the next 25 years. Please keep up the good work; we'd love to come back.

Very friendly staff, pizza was delicious.

Total chaos! Waited 2 hours for the food. Neither the starters nor the drinks were brought at the appropriate time, reservations were made in advance and the table was neither clean nor appropriate for the number of people. When asked, they said it was so full that no other seats could be offered, but this was the case with others and we had to sit at a table of four with five people even though reservations had been made for 5-6 people. Unfortunately, the table and chairs were dirty and old garden furniture. The staff was completely unreasonable and ended up not showing up again. In addition, when the criticism was expressed, the waitress was extremely unfriendly and, on top of that, aggressive and provocative. You were also asked about the same things every five minutes by different staff, you placed the order, but nothing came or only when you asked. Absolutely no recommendation anymore, even though we used to go here regularly.

It was great. Despite a lot of people on May Day, we felt very comfortable. The food was very tasty.

Landed there by chance on a busy Saturday evening and got a table for two! And it was really good. The food was delicious, the service staff were extremely courteous, friendly and you could tell that they really enjoyed their job. If I ever happen to be in the corner there, I would go there again.

Ein kleines gemütliches Restaurant. Eine tolle Speisekarte voller italienischer Gerichte und... natürlich auch Pizzas ;-) Sehr aufmerksames und nettes Personal. Wir (5 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) haben alle hervorragend gegessen. Also... von uns eine klare Empfehlung.

Came here for dinner on the recommendation of the hotel nearby. Cozy restaurant and friendly staff. Food was delicious. We paid 90 euros for a starter, two main courses, two desserts, two beers and two wines.

Very nice and authentic little Italian restaurant in Unterbach am Breidenplatz. The pizza is especially great. Service is always friendly and very helpful. Price/performance is still right here.

Ordered something to take away. We were really excited about everything. Pizza: super seasoned and extremely good dough. Pasta with salmon: a poem. The salad: fresh and very well prepared. We would love to eat with you again. Grazie Mille!

Angenehmer und familienfreundlicher Italiener mit guter Küche. Die Gerichte sind sehr gut gemacht ohne Chichi. Ob Pasta, Pizza, Saltimbocca oder die Dorade - alles prima. Da schmeckt man, dass der Chef noch selbst kocht. Das Ambiente innen ist eher urig, im Sommer kann man nett auf dem Platz sitzen.

Very disappointed. I booked table for baptism of my child. Confirm the menu with chef, anyway he did it his way, because he knows better. My guest and two babies 10 and 14 months were waiting over two hours to get second course not even main course. After we ask politely about second course Chef came out of the kitchen screaming out of his lungs that it’s not McDonald and we need to leave the restaurant because we are drunk. Imagine drink wine without food for over two hours. Yes, we were hungry and getting annoyed. But nothing rude. Half of my guests left and they present us the bill with full price. Preorder wine and courses which was never served. After we refused to pay the bill they want to call the police. We asked them to call the police to solve that. Unfortunately the didn’t, because we were right. As a waitress mentioned we are Russian, Polish, Romanian scums that no need to discuss. I’m a restaurateur and wine expert myself worked and run restaurants in Europe. I was hoping for cosy and close to my home option. If you read this Chef, please know that’s not the way. I know it! You ruin my celebration in so many ways, because of your sick ego. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Can’t recommend the food because it never arrived.

We have been regular guests there since “La Rucola” opened and have never been dissatisfied. The boss cooks himself and the core of the serving staff has been there for years. That is the simple explanation for the consistent quality. As a tip: Lumache alla diavolo as a starter and fillet with Gorgonzola sauce or tagliatelle rolled in Parmesan as a main course. Finally, a Marsala and the evening is well spent.

On the way home, a quick pizza near the highway. Excellent. Delicious pizza, super friendly service.

Be a good Italian for us for 20 years. But too loud for a romantic evening. Otherwise great and in summer it is very nice on the terrace.

Highly Recommended. Very friendly service and you get good, tasty food for your money. Since the restaurant is not particularly large, a reservation is recommended, especially for larger groups.

The boss is very welcoming. We don't speak German but they did everything to make us feel comfortable. The food was delicious. Italian music made us travel to Italy. Fair price. And the toilets were very clean. Grazie mille for the great welcome from the staff. Above all, not to be missed

We went to the pizzeria yesterday at lunchtime for our daughter's baptism and were warmly welcomed there. All dishes ordered were freshly prepared and tasted excellent. Above all, the friendly service and the familiar atmosphere in the restaurant make your stay there very special - highly recommended in all respects. Absolut begeistert. Der Service war unfassbar professionell und herzlich, das Essen kam nach nur 15-20 Minuten und das Essen war bezaubernd gut. Als Dessert können wir das „Mousse al Cioccolato & Pistacchio“. Das war das beste Desert, das ich je gegessen habe. Vielen Dank!

Waren beim Wandern durch Zufall hier vorbei gekommen. Schöner schattiger Biergarten, sehr freundliche Bedienungen und - wir hatten Nudel - leckeres Essen. Preis/Leistung stimmt.

Das Essen im La Rucola war sehr gut, das Personal war aufmerksam, schnell und sehr freundlich. Der Salat ist sehr üppig und mit sehr leckerem Dressing angerichtet. Die Tortellini Panna waren auf den Punkt. Gute Portion fürs Geld und sehr gut zubereitet. Das Ambiente ist an sich sehr angenehm, leider stört aber etwas, dass die Speisen für den Lieferservice ständig durch den Gastraum getragen werden müssen, das sorgt für leichten Abzug in der B-Note, deshalb nur 4 statt 5 Sterne fürs Ambiente. Könnte man 4 1/2 Sterne vergeben, hätte es die gegeben.

Suoer leckeres Essen, frische Nudeln, Tageskarte. Nettes Personal und wenn draußen kein Tisch mehr frei ist, wird einer von drinnen geholt. Immer wieder gerne gehen wir dorthin.

Wir waren das erste mal hier essen und vermutlich zum letzten mal. Die Bedienung war super unfreundlich und erst nach mehrfacher Erinnerung wurden die Getränke gebracht. Die Pizza war ziemlich Geschmacksarm und am Boden ziemlich angebrannt. Die hier gebotene Qualität entspricht nicht dem was man woanders für das gleiche Geld geliefert bekommt. Das Ambiete an sich ist ziemlich heruntergewirtschaftet, was man definitiv an den Sanitären Anlagen erkennen kann.

Im Sommer unter Schatten spendenden Bäumen (und Sonnenschirmen) super. Mitten in Unterbach, aber ruhig. Passt zur Wanderung um den U-See. Perfekt für die Mittagspause, empfehlenswert mit dem preiswerten Menü.

Seit dem wir in Unterbach wohnen kaufen wir unsere Pizzen nicht mehr woanders. Super sympathische Inhaberin. Die Pizza ist immer super lecker !

Wirklich gute italienische Gerichte, hammermässig die Tagliatelle mit Steinpilzen, werden IM Parmigiano-Käse am Tisch angerichtet. Spitze!!!!

Absolut schlechter Service. Man reserviert einen Tisch für eine Bestimmte Uhrzeit und kriegt den Tisch mit 20 Minuten Verspätung. Man bestellt als Familie etwas und die Gerichte kommen Teils garnicht oder sehr verteilt auseinander wodurch ein gemeinsames zusammenessen schlecht möglich ist.

Alles war so wie wir es kennen. Super

Ich habe das Mittagsmenue für 13€ gehabt, dazu gehörte eine kleine Vorspeise, Salat, Hauptspeise und ein Cappuccino. Alles von sehr guter Qualität.

What a good restaurant! The pasta is so great, so tasteful and then with the fresh truffle of Umbria it is absolutely the best. The selection of wine is attractive. When you opt for a pizza you have a rich choice. Top restaurant to dine in with a very friendly staff!

Sehr leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen. Freundliche Bedienung. Das Ambiente ist leicht altmodisch, aber ok. Wir waren Dienstags da und hätten ohne Reservierung keinen Platz bekommen, es war richtig voll. Dann ist es auch recht laut.

War zum ersten Mal da. Hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Wir waren zu 10 Leuten, und jedes essen sah sehr gut aus. 👍 bedienung war freundlich. gehe bestimmt noch mal dort essen.

Für mich nach wie vor einer der besten Italiener in Düsseldorf. Wir waren letzte Woche nach langer Zeit mal wieder dort und waren erneut begeistert. Von der Vorspeise (Vitello Tonato ) über die Hauptspeisen wie z. B. Saltimbocca a la Romana ) bis zum Dessert war alles top. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich und auch bei dem Inhaber handelt es sich um einen sehr herzlichen Menschen. Wir werden ganz bestimmt demnächst wieder kommen.

Super leckeres Italienisches Essen. Kellner seit Jahren die selben und immer sehr nett. Preise sind ebenfalls angemessen und die Atmosphäre ist auch sehr schön. Kann nur empfehlen hier mal hinzugehen.

unglaublich unfreundliche Bedienung! Wir hatten Besuch aus Finnland und der Schweiz, die dort Essen wollten. Im Außenbereich waren viele freie Tische. Niemand kam zum bedienen, statt dessen wurden auf den (freien) Nachbartischen überall "Reserviert"-Schildchen aufgestellt. Natürlich hat sich unser Besuch dann abgelehnt gefühlt und ist gegangen.... Wirklich eine sehr traurige Gastronomieerfahrung vom Breidenplatz in Düsseldorf-Unterbach....

Die Pasta mit Lachs war sehr gut. Man muss etwas Zeit mitbringen, aber dafür wird alles frisch zubereitet. Und man sollte reservieren.
