Very tasty pizzas, father and unisono have everything under control. Always friendly, good advice. Always happy to go there again.

Delicious, typical Italian food in our village—we love Ottavio. For us, it's the best pizza in town. Everything is freshly prepared; nothing comes out of a can or tastes boring. The pizzeria is rather small but incredibly cozy. The decor is fresh and modern. We always enjoy coming back to our favorite Italian restaurant!

Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for our drinks and food. Otherwise, the food was very tasty, so there's nothing to complain about.

We had truly delicious pizzas!!! My wife was also thrilled (and she's quite picky about food). The espresso was also good, and the staff was very friendly. In short, highly recommended!!

Sat on the outdoor patio in beautiful weather. Within 5 minutes, the waiter came with my menu and asked if I wanted a drink. I ordered a pizza, and the drinks arrived fairly quickly. However, after waiting more than an hour, I still hadn't received my pizza. A whole family who had been there for just 15 minutes did get theirs. The waiter got tipsy and asked where my pizza was after over an hour. "Oh," he said. He ran inside and 30 seconds later delivered my pizza. No apology whatsoever for the over-hour wait. Apparently, my pizza had been sitting inside for a long time, because it was lukewarm. When I went to pay, the owner got tipsy and complained. No apology either, just the answer that I had to pay 18 euros. Worst service I've ever experienced in a restaurant.

A true Italian restaurant. The aroma from the kitchen is truly mouthwatering. The tortillini was deliciously creamy, the pizza dough super crispy. Normally, we have a few leftovers from the pizza crust, but it was too good to resist. Unfortunately, we were completely full from the main course. We would have liked a dessert, but we just couldn't fit it in. The desserts vary and aren't on the menu. This is because the selection depends on the ingredients available, and they only use fresh ingredients. Truly sublime!

We had a delicious meal on the cozy terrace outside in the sunshine. The staff was friendly. The food was truly amazing, the only downside being that when it's busy you have to wait about an hour (s'machen 😉). Recommended... but quality takes time.

We've been here several times with friends for dinner. The pizza, pasta, and salads are all delicious. The service is very attentive, and they take great care to provide shade for guests outside, for example. I highly recommend the chicken and fruit salad—very creative and delicious. We'd love to come back.

Very tasty pizza! Original Italian

A wonderful Italian restaurant in Angermund. The pizza tastes authentic, just like in Italy; the dough is crispy, and the tomato sauce is delicious. The pasta is also delicious, nice and creamy, and with plenty of sauce. The owners are welcoming, and the service is friendly. The wine is also excellent. I particularly recommend the Vitello Tonnato appetizer. The interior is pleasantly quiet, as there's no loud music, and you can also sit outside and relax. We always enjoy coming here.

Highly recommended. We didn't have a reservation (6 people). It was quite busy. Two tables were pushed together, and we received very friendly service. The pizzas were freshly prepared and very tasty. Highly recommended!

It's been my favorite Italian restaurant for 26 years. I had my first pizza there when I was 11. Adriano was always super nice, usually offering a pizza roll to take with me ☺️. The food is prepared traditionally, just like "Mom" makes it at home in Italy. And you can taste it. Absolutely authentic. All in all, Ottavio is a nice little Italian restaurant with a traditional family atmosphere. I can absolutely recommend Ottavio.

Basically, everything in life is a matter of taste.... But I personally really liked it with Ottavio and the team! The food was delicious again and I felt good! What more could you want? And yes, I have to admit, I personally don't like the facility that much - but I want to eat delicious food there and not live there :-) So give it a try - I think OTTAVIO is highly recommended! We would love to go there again!!!

Trattoria Ottavio is a real gem for lovers of Italian cuisine in Düsseldorf! The Pizza Mega and Pasta Mega are simply unbeatable – authentic, fresh and full of taste. The staff is particularly impressive: incredibly friendly, attentive and with real Italian warmth. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. The atmosphere in the trattoria takes you straight to Italy. Whether inside or outside on the terrace – you not only enjoy the food, but also the ambience. Very small trattoria. Due to the spatial conditions, it's not that comfortable, but it's still attractively furnished and decorated. Nice service. Our food was tasty and the portions were more than enough! Conclusion: gladly again!

Ottavio has been our first address for pizza in the north of Düsseldorf for decades. Best Neapolitan pizza. Always friendly and prepared super quickly. The two pizzerias that have been added in Angermund are far from being able to keep up.

looking forward to an Italian... came spontaneously Bottled shandy Spaghetti Carbonara and Calzone well nothing special... There are no reviews of more than 3 stars. Cozy restaurant is something different... more of a snack bar with a few seats... Too bad!

The food is always freshly prepared and tastes very good. The service is always friendly and accommodating.

The pizza is excellent. Thin dough, airy edge, simply perfect. I haven't eaten a margarita pizza this good in a long time. The restaurant is small but nice. There are no alternatives in the area in Duisburg, Kaiserswerth, Stockum that come close to this quality. Price-performance is great!

Food was okay, hospitality was lacking. The stress was clearly too much for the owner. We wanted a table in the sun, but that was not allowed. For dessert we were ridiculed and referred to the neighbors. In short, we were not treated hospitably. The ice cream at the neighbors was fantastic and we received very friendly help.

The Margherita was delicious after a hike. The woman at the counter was very friendly. Good price quality.

The pizza is really good, that's all you can say.

The pizza is perfect for us. A thin, crispy base, well topped depending on the pizza, spicy tomato sauce, simply delicious. In addition, they have been offering three new, very creative pizzas since March 2024. The toppings consist of either goat cheese, walnuts, honey and parmesan cream, zucchini cream, grilled peppers and parmesan cream or truffles and burrata. Real gourmet food and definitely worth trying. The salads are crisp, the dressing is OK. All pasta dishes are delicious, the service is friendly. The only downside is that the trattoria is simply very small. No problem in summer, there is a terrace where you can sit comfortably. In winter it is advisable to reserve well in advance, otherwise the trattoria will be fully booked. Then you can just take your pizza or whatever you want to order home with you.

People do not accept criticism at all. Instead of fixing internal problems in relation to the client, they try to remove negative reviews through law firms. It would be better to spend these funds on improving the service, rather than competing with windmills. If I didn't like it, then make sure that next time I leave satisfied, instead of filing complaints with Google. Amazingly!!!

The pizzas here are absolutely delicious and a true taste experience! Every bite is a delight - from the crispy crust to the fresh toppings. The selection of ingredients is great and the combinations are creative and appealing. No matter whether classic or unusual, every pizza is a masterpiece! I can't get enough of it and am looking forward to my next visit to enjoy these fantastic pizzas again. The dessert is fantastic.

Please Pizzeria is very busy and it only has a small area that is used as a restaurant. The food was super tasty and the service was very friendly. My experience was quite positive.

In my opinion, one of the best of many pizzerias. The pizzas are top notch, starting from the dough. It's a shame that Ottavio no longer delivers and leaves the field to ambitious competitors whose products don't deserve the name pizza!

Trattoria Ottavio, is not just excellent pizza, delicious pasta, great salad and terrific tiramisu. It's like visiting friends or coming home. My trusted Italian for almost 30 years. A huge compliment to the pizza maker, every wish, no matter how unusual, is fulfilled and then tastes great! Stay as you are.

Wer Lust auf Qualität und auf tolle Gastgeber hat, sollte auf jeden Fall vorbeikommen. Ob Pizza oder Pasta,hier kommt jeder auf seinen Genuß. Man wird herzlich empfangen und der Chef kümmert sich auch persönlich um seine Gäste. Und ganz wichtig zum Schluss - der Tiramisu ist göttlich! Also, nix wie hin und lasst es euch schmecken!

Das Essen ist oft nicht warm. Pizza 🍕 Margarita hat kaum Tomatensauce, Pizzaboden zu dünn. Im Winter zieht es von der Tür. Personal nicht immer freundlich.

Wir gehen sehr gerne dort hin und haben schon viel von der Karte probiert. Alles war vorzüglich. Sehr freundliche Atmosphäre.

Haben hier mehrere Pizzen zur Abholung bestellt und waren sehr positiv überrascht. Es gibt genügend Auswahl und der Service ist schnell und gut. Unsere Pizzen waren in 20 min abholbereit. Preislich sehr fair und geschmacklich top!

A welcoming change to the usuual restaurants. Here one goes back in time and place to feel and experience the traditional italian hospitality. This is a typical family run tratoria where the whole family is envolved in providing a stress free and friendly ambiente complimented by tastey delicious food. The starters; Italian antipaste accompanied by the small freshly baked pizza rolls were simply delicious. The pizzas; a diavolo and a calzone were one of the best we had in Germany so far. Good old home made pastry complimented by fresh ingredients were really yummy yummy. Thank you all for such an unforgettable experience of a relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. We ARE comimg back to treat ourselves to another fantastic evening

Miserabler Service. Der tätowierte Kellner geht eine Zigarette rauchen wenn schon längst der Nachtisch hätte bestellt werden können. Bei leerem Restaurant war seine Rechtfertigung, dass er der ganzen Tag Dinge tun muss. Ein sehr hartes Leben hat der Junge Mann. Mein Mitgefühl.

Wir sind begeistert von den Köstlichkeiten, die hier serviert werden. Überaus empfehlenswerte italienische Küche in einem tollen Ambiente! Der Chef rundet das ganze mit seinem sehr zuvorkommenden Service ab. Bravo!

Gestern am frühen Abend nach langer Zeit mal wieder bei Ottavio in Angermund bei herrlichem Sonnenschein gewesen. Auf der schattigen Terrasse haben wir gut gegessen und getrunken zu absolut angemessenen Preisen mit nettem Service. Komme gerne wieder!

Die Expertise der Familie weist Tradition und Handwerk aus, welche von den Angermunder Bürgern sehr geschätzt und honoriert wird. Die Trattoria Ottavio ist extrem beliebt und dementsprechend frequentiert.

Klein aber fein!! Wir waren mit einer 15köpfigen Wandergruppe zum Mittagessen da. Alle Speisen waren sehr, sehr lecker. Das Personal super freundlich und alles sehr sauber.

Wir gehören mittlerweile zu den Stammgästen, da es dort so gutes Essen gibt! Egal ob Pizza, Nudeln oder Salat. Alles schmeckt sehr gut. Der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich. Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam, man wartet nicht lange auf sein Essen. Der beste Italiener in der Umgebung.

Heute seit langem mal wieder Pizza bei Ottavio bestellt. Wir hatten fünf verschiedene Pizzen, alle haben grandios geschmeckt. Einfach mit Abstand die beste Pizza weit und breit! Besonders zu empfehlen ist die „Adriano“ 😉

Essen sehr gut, freundliche Bedienung und es sah alles gepflegt aus.

Leider waren meine Pizzen öfter mal kalt. Die Pizzen lagen schon anscheinend Minuten lang kalt auf dem Ofen, obwohl ich 5 Minuten früher als vereinbart vor Ort war, wie immer. Außerdem verstehe ich die dreiste Preiserhöhung von vor der Corona Zeit nicht. Siehe Bild. Nachtrag: Preise wurden wieder angezogen :D. Zeitmanagement für abholen immernoch miserabel laut meiner Verwandtschaft. Ich gehe da ja nicht mehr hin.

Adriano und sein Team haben es einfach drauf. Ob es das Bruscetta, die Pizza, die Lasagne oder das Tiramisu war, es war einfach alles ein Gedicht. Bitte macht weiter so.

Seit klein auf schon immer bei Ottavio gegessen. Der Geschmack ist immer 10/10. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Das Team immer nett und zuvorkommend.

Personal sehr freundlich. Ambiente schön. Es gibt schönen Biergarten. Nudeln waren für meinen Geschmack zu al dente

Leckeres Essen und eine Top Bedingung. Einfach nur weiter zu empfehlen. Meine Empfehlung ist die Tortellini alla panna.;)

Sehr gute Pizza, der Hauswein OK aber nicht hervorragend, sehr nette Bedienung. Allerdings Recht teurer for eine Pizzeria an der Straße.

Freundliche Bedienung und essen war ok.

Mal abgesehen davon, dass man direkt an einer Hauptstraße speist und an Plastiktischen sitzt und es kein Gezapftes gibt - deswegen ein Punktabzug - die Pizza war überraschend lecker, geschmacklich sehr gut abgerundet, die wirklich leckere Pizza ließ alle Unannehmlichkeiten schnell vergessen.

Das Eis ist lecker - eine Bedienung gibt es nicht wirklich - Eis drinnen bestellen und auch drinnen bezahlen - ab und zu werden auch die Tische mal abgeräumt.

Aktualisierung: Mittlerweile haben sich die Preise stabil eingependelt und die Qualität ist immer noch gut. Alt: Eine Preissteigerung von 7,90 auf 12,90 für einen Salat, der jetzt auch noch kleiner geworden ist, geht leider gar nicht. Ebenso bei der letzten Pizza, € 9,50 > 11,90 - auch wenn es bislang immer geschmeckt hat... .. Schade...

Alles Gut . Heute mal Pizza auf die Hand zum Mitnehmen. Leute sind freundlich nett und zugewandt.

Die Pizzabrötchen sind super, genau wie die Pizzen selbst. Mittlerweile gibt's alles zum Abholen, was in dieser Zeit natürlich praktisch ist. Wenn man mag, kann man bei gutem Wetter auch nebenan Eis mitnehmen.

Alles was ich gegessen habe war Super. Es ist Handarbeit und kein Fastfood. Und dafür bezahle ich gerne etwas mehr. Wenn ich sparen möchte kaufe ich Tiefkühlkost. Das geht dann natürlich schneller. Hier arbeiten Menschen und Fehler passieren. Sehr schade das Heutzutage so wenig Verständnis gezeigt wird. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Weiter so. 👍👍👍

Also hier in den Rezensionen wird vermehrt auf den schlechten Service hingewiesen und dass die Behandlung der Gäste unfreundlich sei. Es wäre gelogen wenn ich nun behaupten würde ich wäre immer königliche behandelt worden. Um genau zu sein wurde ich sogar einmal richtig angeschnauzt, aber das Essen ist über fast jeden Zweifel erhaben. Ich würde es mal als barsche Freundlichkeit bezeichnen und irgendwie hat es auch Charme.

Wirklich lecker freundlich und schnell

Essen ist echt super und netter Inhaber sowie hilfsbereite Kellner, mit den Getränken das kann schon mal dauern, aber nur wenn es voll ist, ansonsten immer konstant super Essen.

Preise sind genauso hoch, wie die Nase. Maßlos überteuert. Es war fast schon witzig, die rote SOS Schrift am Fenster zu sehen während Corona. Auf einmal musste man wieder liefern & freundlich sein. Zum Glück ist das ja wieder vorbei ;)

Essen lecker, Service schlecht. Getränke und Speisen zügig aufgegeben. Als Vorspeise einmal Bruschetta und als Hauptgang zwei unterschiedliche Pizzen. Die Getränke kamen sehr schnell, der Rest ist Geschichte. Nach einer halben Stunde kam die Vorspeise. Ein sehr gutes Bruschetta, keine Frage! Die Pizzen kamen letzen Endes nach einer geschlagenen Stunde, obendrein noch eine falsche dabei. Ich habe diese zurück gegeben und beschlossen keine weitere zu bestellen, wir teilten uns die eine. Nach weiteren 10 Minuten kam die ursprünglich bestellte Pizza, angeblich hatte man die falsche zu uns gebracht. Ende vom Lied ich sollte dennoch beide bezahlen, nach einiger Diskussion erließ man mir die zweite. Auf den Hinweis, dass es schon sehr lange gedauert hätte bis die Pizzen überhaupt serviert wurden, sagte man mir wir hätte doch Bruschetta gehabt, wir sollten uns nicht so aufregen. Auffällig war, das in der Zwischenzeit ein Dutzend take away Bestellungen raus gingen bzw. abgeholt wurde....Falsche Priorität!
