Enzos Trattoria in Düsseldorf

We got the recommendation from an Italian woman and are very excited! Even special requests are gladly taken into account. Really Italian, highly recommended.

Kindness and availability are the characteristics of Giovanni's restaurant, a person who makes you feel at home even if you have only just met him. He organized a quick meal for us as it was close to closing time. When we return to Düsseldorf we will stop by as a group again! From the Italian guys I met in the pub

Nice service, really tasty food like in Italy, located in the middle of the old town but quiet and close to the entrance to the old town car park. We'd love to come back.

Very nice restaurant with great food!

The food was not seasoned at all. The chef's argument: most guests would season without tasting first. The wine is very expensive. Wine spritzer for €6.90. It doesn't work at all. After the meal, you weren't asked how you liked it. Unfortunately it was my first and last visit.

The food is okay but unfortunately nothing more. We definitely expected more for a trattoria. My tomato sauce was completely lacking in spices. 😵‍💫 Although the menu said gnocci with basil, there was just a small twig carelessly on top. 😵‍💫 The pizza rolls, on the other hand, were really tasty. Unfortunately, according to my companion, the carbonara was nothing special either 🥺😵‍💫 Summary of the whole thing: you can do it if you're hungry and need something to eat quickly, but you can also leave it alone 😂

Very good dishes, abundant and at a very good price. I highlight the pasta (penne with zucchini and salmon, spaghetti frutti di mare), salad and a four-cheese Roman-style pizza. Also, good closing espresso. Three adults, a prosecco, beer, large water and along with the coffees, a tea.

I was there with a regular, which is also my friend I'm really excited, very nice atmosphere. Great food including the antipasti, highly recommended. You'll be seeing me more often soon.

A super quiet and cozy restaurant. The pizzas we ate were very good, you can tell they are Italian and super well priced.

Great atmosphere but you had to wait ages for the waitress to come and then she was unfriendly even though there was almost nothing going on... the food really took a long time to arrive. The pasta was far too greasy and the pizza base tasted like it came from the freezer... unfortunately this restaurant didn't convince us...

A small, cozy Italian oasis in the old town of Düsseldorf. The small side street offers peace and quiet and the food tastes incredibly delicious. When we were there the boss was alone and we had to wait a bit, but it was actually completely worth it. It was a great evening

We spent a weekend in Düsseldorf and came across the restaurant by chance. We were immediately greeted in a friendly manner. The food came quickly and was very tasty. The prices are very cheap for the food. We were so excited that we walked there again on the second day. It was very crowded outside and inside but we were still greeted warmly. What was crazy was that the three of us chose light dishes in his eyes, so he chose us over a group of 15. Overall a really great restaurant

Traditional Sicilian food in a cozy, uncrowded side street. We liked it very much!

The food was good, the antipasti grade 1, pizza grade 2 and pasta also grade 2. However, the service is a smooth 6. The waitresses are completely overwhelmed, forget half of them and you have to wait 15 minutes until you are spoken to (even though they... The waitress walked past several times with empty hands) and then another 20 minutes until the (sometimes wrong) drinks came. A pity. I don't even know how long it took to eat - but so long that I'm fed up and will never go there again, damn it. Far too expensive for this poor, slow service…The restaurant wasn't full and the toilets were unclean. Not with me!!!!!

Nice little restaurant in a good location. Pizza and pasta taste good and are offered at very fair prices. As a starter there is bread with delicious olive oil, but no starter or dessert menu. In general, the menu is not particularly large, but there should be something for everyone. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and is located on a street that is not quite as crowded as the surrounding streets. If you are nearby, you can have a good, quiet meal here.

Highly recommended! Eating at Enzo’s was amazing, from the service, the quality of the food, the freshness, the environment, everything! Thanks Giovanni for such an amazing time at your house. With no doubt I will come back next time I’m in Düsseldorf.

Enzo's Trattoria is a smaller location. In the old City.. Very nice atmosphere with nice furnishings, cozy... When the weather is nice, outdoor seating is very popular. Here the boss still cooks himself!!! His nice, friendly wife takes over the operation. Courteous and helpful... The food is good and tasty.. Also available to take away, pick up... Also, Price/performance is ok.. It's best to go there and try it out yourself...

Went there with friends and were able to spend a nice evening away from the hustle and bustle (Ürige is 1 minute away). With good food and very good wine. Thanks to Enzo and team Marion

The antpasti were of very high quality and super tasty. The pasta dishes were also great. I've never had so much truffle on the pasta as at Enzos and the combination with the carpaccio was also delicious. You always get a free drink at the end. Enzos has now become our favorite Italian restaurant. The service is perfect and the atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable. It's never too loud, so you can have a good conversation.

We spontaneously went to Enzo's on a Monday evening. After a warm welcome from Giovanni and his wife Christina, we were able to order drinks straight away, alongside a bottle of San Pellegrino and 2 glasses of the pleasantly soft and balanced Primitivo (apparently the house wine). The two of us shared the sumptuous and very tasty antipasti misto plate. Parma ham, salciccia, warm Mediterranean vegetables and plenty of parmesan. My wife chose Tagliarini truffles on carpaccio, I chose the spaghetti with (6) prawns. Both again (almost too) plentiful and well seasoned. Plus another glass of Primitivo. In addition to the final 2 espressos, there were 2 delicious dolci on the house. Il account was €84, which can certainly be described as fair and reasonable given the generally sharp rise in prices in the catering industry compared to the delights on offer. We were once again very satisfied and enjoyed the evening.

I thought the pasta was a bit pricey, but it was plentiful and delicious. I especially liked the appetizer platter. There were few staff members during the busy dinner time and it felt like they were understaffed. It seems better to go early.

Since my first review wasn't published here is my light version!! I'll start with the service. First of all, we had to wait a long time until we were served to order a drink and then we had to wait that long for the food. That's why we only ordered two normal pizzas. When they came, one of them was also wrong. so that one was already finished when the other got his pizza. The pizza didn't taste good. Soggy, thick dough that didn't taste like anything. Conclusion: Highly praised things aren't always good!!! I won't come back a second time. I hope this review won't be criticized again as I'm just giving my opinion. That's what a review is for!!!

Wir sind regelmäßige Gäste bei Enzo's Trattoria und jedes Mal begeistert uns die ehrliche, authentische italienische Küche aufs Neue. Die Gerichte sind köstlich zubereitet und die Auswahl an Weinen ist einfach fantastisch. Dazu kommen faire Preise, ein wunderschöner und ruhiger Außenbereich sowie das besonders sympathische, freundliche und aufmerksame Personal. Enzo's Trattoria ist ein absoluter Geheimtipp in der Düsseldorfer Altstadt.

Wir waren gestern Abend zum ersten Mal und eigentlich rein zufällig hier... Manchmal muss man auch Glück haben! Es war ALLES so fein...im Sinne von: Ausserordentlich MEGA gut ! So möchte man bewirtet werden.. Essen wie bei guten Freunden. . . Wir kommen sehr, sehr gerne wieder! Danke für einen bezaubernden Abend !

Sehr schade, hatten einen sehr schönen Abend in geschlossener Gesellschaft. Essen war gut, Service in weiten Teilen aufmerksam. Zum Schluss hin hatte ich mein Portemonnaie verloren, es wurde mir aber relativ schnell übergeben. Leider fehlten am Ende 150€. Ich möchte niemanden beschuldigen, aber der eigene Verein würde keinen beklauen. Ganz fader Beigeschmack. Am Ende kann man sagen, selbst schuld, aber ich hätte auf die Ehrlichkeit des Personals gehofft.

Sehr leckeres italienisches Essen

Nur vier Sterne: Saltimbocca mit etwas wenig Fleisch auf dem Teller und zum Ende ließ der Service doch immer mehr nach. - Trotzdem eine Empfehlung, denn das Essen schmeckte und die Bewirtung war überaus freundlich!

Wir waren mit 6 Erwachsenen bei Giovanni und seiner Frau. Ganz ehrlich war mein erster Eindruck, Oh No schnell weg, da ich nur die Tische draußen und die Papierfaltkarten gesehen habe. Dann haben wir uns eingelassen darauf und nach Gerichten gefragt die nicht auf der Karte waren. Das war dann der Volltreffer. Wenn wir Zeit mitbringen, wie man es beim Italiener kennt, dann bekommen wir einen schönen Antipasti-Teller und der hatte es in sich. Total lecker und liebevoll! Auch haben wir dann unseren Hauptgang zum Teil nicht von der Karte bestellt und alles war super gut hergerichtet und hat wunderbar geschmeckt. Später hat sich Giovanni zu uns gesetzt und viel mir uns gequatscht. Ein wirklich wunderschöner Abend bei dem man eines besseren Gegenüber dem ersten Eindruck belehrt wurde. Sehr schlechte Bedienung, Zutaten vergessen, und ein Essen war nicht vorrätig - sagte man uns aber erst, als die Hauptgerichte bereits serviert waren. Ärgerlich, aber kann vllt. mal vorkommen. Dann der Knaller zum Abschluss: Sie bestanden ausdrücklich (und bis zum Schluss trotz Diskussion!) auf Bezahlung ohne Rechnung. Keine Auflistung der Gerichte, nicht einmal ein handgeschriebener Zettel, nur ein mündliches „achtzigeurozehn“. „Ist bei uns so“. Fassungslosigkeit am Tisch. Als „Erlebnisgastronom“ zu empfehlen, wer aber einfach nur gut und gepflegt italienisch essen möchte geht besser wo anders hin. 1 Stern: Fehlendes Gericht wurde (erst nach Beschwerde beim Chef) durch gute Alternative ersetzt. Restliches Essen leider weniger appetitlich.

Lugar muy céntrico, tranquilo, para estar a gusto con amistades o compañeros de trabajo. La comida muy rica y raciones grandes. El servicio muy amable y nos colmaron de atenciones. Volvería sin duda.

Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt dafür gerne einen Stern. Leider hatte die Kellnerin an diesem Tag wohl einen schlechten Tag bzw. im generellen keine Lust auf Ihre Arbeit daher leider nur 2 Sterne

Wunderbare Erfahrung mit fantastischem Essen, toller Weinempfehlung und Gruß aus der Küche! Etwas abseits vom Trubel des Carlsplatzes erlebt man hier einen schönen Abend mit entspanntem Ambiente. Wir werden hier sehr gerne wieder einkehren!

Toller Italiener in einer ruhigen Straße mitten in der Altstadt von Düsseldorf. Pizza, Pasta und Salat waren sehr lecker und die Preise sind absolut fair. Ein Restaurant, wo man immer mal wieder einkehren kann.

Eine kleine und feine Trattoria. Die ruhig aber zentral in der Altstadt liegt. Die Gerichte sind sehr lecker und reichlich. Hier stimmt noch das Preis Leistungverhälnis.

Die Pizza ist Standard, der Service war heute leider nicht so toll, anscheinend weil die Kollegen nicht da waren. Falsche Gerichte gebracht, Getränke vergessen, mehrfaches nachfragen und dann kann man noch nicht mal mit Karte zahlen. Ok nett war die Bedienung.

ganz tolle Pizzeria! sehr urig, super liebes Personal. In einer Seitenstraße gelegen, daher sehr ruhig und gemütlich. Sowohl Pizza als auch Nudeln sehr lecker. Fairer Preis.

Essen an sich = 3,5/5. die Nudeln mit Trüffel haben eher nach der sahnigen Sauce als Trüffel geschmeckt. Leider erst am Ende erwähnt, dass das Kartengerät nicht funktioniert. Also erstmal ne Runde zum Bankautomaten. Leider nur Semi-professionell.

Seit Jahren besuche ich Enzo‘s. Früher auf dem Carlsplatz jetzt in der Akademie Str.6 Immer sehr freundlich und nett, das Essen ist immer sehr gut zubereitet und schmeck super. Ich kann Enzo‘s bestens weiterempfehlen. Hier ist man jederzeit willkommen.👍
