Food was tasty but the service wasn't that good!

It was my first time here and the food was good.

The food tasted like a microwave and the service was lackluster. No Aperol in the house.

Solid describes it aptly...food was good and tasty, service consistent and quick. The ambience in the outdoor area has room for improvement, so a little more attention to detail is required. Overall, a nice Greek restaurant “around the corner” at a very fair price.

Apart from that... we decided to eat here at short notice... once and never again... I have never experienced such bad and unfriendly hospitality at a 🇬🇷.. No ouzo to greet or say goodbye.. When asked to please take the salad plates off the table.. They were very annoyed and put away together and on the neighboring table thundered... Watching football was more important to the older waiter.

The first impression was quite good, the second very very bad, the gyros was more than just fatty meat, a replacement dish was offered with few words and no apology. Even when it came to payment there was no excuse,

Be careful, I received a similar food overview of orders placed via the Uber Eats service in my spam email. The email address given in the legal notice on the page does not work. So data would be stolen somewhere and the users would not be informed. Therefore, it is better to order online.

I found the portion to be just right. While waiting for the food, I was of course offered Uzo. I find value for money to be completely okay. I find it difficult to rate the ambience. It seemed quite cramped inside, but to a tolerable extent. I guess in the summer you can also eat outside. This will probably defuse the situation inside.

To be fair, I have to say that I ordered the food through Lieferando. It said delivery was around 12:45 p.m. The food arrived almost exactly to the minute. Kudos to the supplier. I can't say much about the service on site, so I'll give it 3 stars for now. I can't rate the ambience at all, hence only 1 star. As soon as I'm there in person, I can assess it and change the rating. The food: I ordered a gyros with rice. I got gyros with rice, tzatziki and salad. I must have missed the salad because I was surprised. That's how delicious it was. A good, simple Greek salad with a pepperoni and an olive. The rice was different than usual. I'm not familiar with the one with celery and carrot in it, but it was a change and tasted good. Not at all dry like you usually get from suppliers. The gyros: really tasty. Gently seasoned, not too much or too little. An absolutely stable gyro. Garnished with a few onion rings and a little spice topping. Then there was a small package wrapped in aluminum foil. Delicious white bread. 3 small slices that were unexpectedly included. Plus the tzatziki. You can taste that the whole thing comes from a restaurant. Well balanced tzatziki, really tasty. The whole office smells like it now and my colleagues are happy. Notes: About the gyro... It was cut a little thick, so I had to use a knife to trim it. Gyros is usually finely sliced. Since the pieces were a bit big, the portion was also a bit small. But it was enough to fill you up. Final words: The restaurant is recommended as a delivery service and we'll just ignore the fact that the small gyros cost €18 + delivery fees. With that in mind, Jámas.

I ordered a portion for two people, paid EUR 48, the food was little and full of fat, only the salad and rice were tasty. Sexless meat!!! In fact, it was the first and last time I ordered from this restaurant. I do not recommend

I had dinner there with friends and I have to say that I was unfortunately disappointed. The food was really tasty. The meat was well seasoned, juicy, came with crispy fries and a crisp salad. But if you order a large plate of gyros and are then served a children's plate and then have to pay the full price, even though lunch is advertised on a board in front of the restaurant. Hmmm...

We ordered 2 main courses and a starter for 2. When we opened the starter we realized that there was very little and that it tasted completely like canned food. We didn't want to be put off by that (starter for 2 = €20). I had a grilled platter with Greek potatoes and my partner had gyros gratinated with fries. The Greek potatoes were tasteless and mushy and the meat was very dry. The taste of the gyros was very monotonous and the fries tasted like they were 1-2 days old and then put them in the microwave for a bit. All in all a very disappointing experience for 60(?!)€. Our anticipation of the meal was huge and was completely disappointed. The price is absolutely not justified.

Unangemessene Preise! Eine Suppe für 4,60 eu soooo klein. 50 ml. Ein dritter vom sehr kleinen Becherchen. Geht gar nicht. Essen zuuuu versalzen! Ungenießbar!!! Und einfach zu wenig für den Preis. Bekomme bei jedem anderen Griechen 3x mehr für den Preis! Nicht zu empfehlen!!! Heute noch ab ein Update!!! Aus Versehen hier wieder. Es hieß fleischplatte mit Champagner champignonsoße. Eine klebrige Soße mit Dosen Champignons. 🤦 Dazu Reis mit in einer Soße mit Dosen Gemüse!!!!!! Für 23 Euro!!!! Zu schlecht und zu wenig !!!!!!! Der schlimmste ist man hat das Gefühl man ist ein Mülleimer!

Leckeres Essen und Klasse Service

Tolle Atmosphäre, und der Chef war auch vor Ort. Und hat den Service gemacht.Wir gehen gerne wieder hin. Aber mit Tisch Reservierung.

Für eine Grillplatte 17€!! bezahlt, geliefert 1 Spieß Souvlaki und handvoll übersalzenen Gyros. Sparmaßnahmen hin oder her, aber das ist eine Frechheit.

Unerwartet leckeres Essen, wirklich einen Besuch wert. Auch Service und Ambiente sind gut.

Gutes Griechisches Restaurant ! War früher direkt im Barmbeker Bahnhof, und ist immer noch zu empfehlen. Gute Gerichte, tagesmenue mit vorsuppe, ein Salat und Hauptgang.das einzige was oft fehlt und woanders eigentlich immer dabei ist ist ein Schlag Tzaziki, die Bedienung vom Chef Michael ist bestens und sehr aufmerksam. Ausprobieren !

Zum Glück gibt's auch in der Wohngegend zwischen Barmbek und Saarland einen tollen Griechen! Immer wieder gerne. Super auch die umfangreiche Mittagskarte - perfekt.

Geschmacklich wirklich nicht gut und vor allem auch nichts besonderes. Tut mir leid das so sagen zu müssen, aber dies war der schlechteste Grieche bis jetzt 😕 Nicht zu empfehlen und für mich persönlich kein weiterer Besuch wert.

Der nette Griche von neben an. Freundliche Bedienung und große Auswahl an Authentischen griechischem Essen. Jever und DAB vom Fass. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Restaurant erinnert ein wenig an die achtziger Jahre! Es fehlt einfach mal ein neuer Anstrich. Ansonsten war alles okay! Essen war sehr lecker und frisch,da gab es sonst nichts zu mäkeln.

Die Vorspeise und der Salat zum Hauptgang waren lecker. Leider haben die Hauptspeisen keinem von uns geschmeckt (4 verschiedene Gerichte) und wir haben alle irgendwie Magengrummeln :(

Lamm Souvlaki mit Pommes bestellt und 15 Minuten später abgeholt. Endlich mal wieder original Griechisch! Tsatziki sehr lecker, Lamm zart und medium, Salatbeilage sogar m. Pepperoni 👌 Sehr zu empfehlen!

Unfassbar gut! Bester Grieche in ganz Winterhude und Barmbek.

Naja… Essen wirkte nicht ganz frisch, geschmacklich für mein Empfinden auch kein Highlight - da habe ich schon wesentlich besser griechisch gegessen. Der Service war irgendwie… Befremdlich. Kein Lächeln, kein Gespräch, aufs nötigste begrenzt. Alles in allem: Unterer Durchschnitt, ich würde nicht noch einmal kommen.

Mittagstisch. Essen Ok, mit Suppe und Salat ist der Preis mehr als erfreulich.

Michael, der Wirt gehört fast schon zur Familie und seine Lammspieße sind eine Referenz! Ich kann dieses gemütliche Restaurant und die leckeren Gerichte ausnahmslos empfehlen!

Wenn man schon mal in Barmbek ist und Hunger hat kann man hier sehr gut essen. Es gibt hier ein für Hamburger Verhältnisse ein sehr seltenes Bier ein original Dortmunder DAB vom Fass. Die Preise sind moderat. Die Bewirtung fachkundig. Auch die sanitären Anlagen alles super und der Chef legt auch Wert darauf das sein Restaurant sehr Kinderfreundlich ist. 💯 Prozent original Barmbek.

Solides Leckeres Essen. Hat sich deutlich gebessert und mittlerweile gehen wir gerne hier hin zum Essen.

Sehr leckerer Gyrosteller, aufmerksames Servicepersonal

Es handelt sich um ein kleines solides typisch griechisches Restaurant in einer ehemaligen Eckkneipe. Man kann wunderbar draußen sitzen. Die Tische und Stühle haben ihre beste Zeit hinter sich. Das Essen war in Ordnung. Die Toiletten sind einigermaßen sauber.

Das Essen war eine Wucht, kann man nur empfehlen. Von den Gewürzen super, das Fleisch auf den Punkt, was will ein Gast mehr.

Sehr freundlich schon bei der Reservierung am Telefon, die Begrüßung vom Chef selbst war ebenfalls sehr freundlich. Die Bedienung wirkt ein wenig burschikos ist aber auf ihre Art okay. Das Essen mit Vorspeise wurde zeitlich sehr gut abgepasst Das Essen war sehr gut gewürzt und abgeschmeckt. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr einfach gehalten, ist bestimmt nicht der gemütlichste Grieche aber sauber. Die Preisleistung ist okay. Das Gyros war sehr gut das Fleisch könnte gerne zarter sein. Es gibt bessere in Barmbek, sind aber auch teurer.

In Barmbek gibt es einige griechische Restaurants, so dass ich auch das Restaurant Kentauros ausprobieren wollte. Zum Mittagstisch gibt es auf der ausreichend großen Mittagskarte neben dem Hauptgang eine Suppe (eine Brühe) und einen Salat (mit primär Salatblättern). Der Hauptgang war eine Art Grillteller. Insbesondere das Gyros auf dem Grillteller hat mich überhaupt nicht überzeugt. Das Fleisch war sehr zäh. Die weiteren Fleischstücke waren in Ordnung und gut gewürzt. Die dazugehörigen Pommes waren eher knapp bemessen. Nicht gefallen hat mir der Service, denn die Bedienung war eher etwas muffelig. Insgesamt nicht überzeugend. Es gibt bessere griechische Restaurants in der Ecke.
