We always go there for lunch. There is soup and salad beforehand. The soup always changes! The food is super delicious, the service is excellent. Inside it is very cozy and has typical Greek furnishings.

We were there before an HSV home game, where you are greeted very warmly as an HSV team. The food is good, the prices are at the threshold. Advantage for almost €19 is just okay. The quality of the food is good and sufficient. We will come back.

We were there on Saturday with a group of 11 people. Reserving a table via Google was no problem, you even received a text message reminding you on the day of the reservation. We sat outside, there is a large outdoor area, mostly covered. Service was friendly, food was delicious and came quickly despite 11 orders. We will definitely be back.

Had lunch, which I liked, but my wife didn't quite like. There were service staff at the start who were unknown to us. The man who served us was super nice, but unfortunately he didn't speak German very well. Ordered small beers and large ones arrived. We shared tiramisu. Not homemade, but you could eat it. Finally my wife had an espresso. Unfortunately with an insert. A wasp, luckily already dead because my wife had the wasp in her mouth. Asked the service man about it. Sounded like we were responsible for it. He suspected the wasp in the sugar bowl. But that can't be the case because it died with its wings spread and didn't fit into the neck of the sugar bowl. I'm bringing new ones, was the reaction. I don't want to, I've lost my appetite, so my wife says. The service man leaves, only to return after a few seconds with an espresso. My wife loves the store and I only go there to make her happy. The store isn't completely unacceptable, but in my opinion it's not necessarily worth a visit either.

The food was good, everything else was not. 30 minutes waiting time for ordering for dessert, for example, and then preparation time. 2 in service for 100 people... There was smoking at almost every table, including inside.

For lunch we had the gyro plate with fries and a large special. A supper and a salad were served beforehand. Everything was very tasty and the price was completely okay. The service was great. Gladly again.

We were at this Greek place 1/2 year ago. We were thrilled with the food and service. Now we were there again yesterday. I have the feeling that the entire staff was different. The food was very bad. Meat too dark and hard. The calamari tasted old. The bread is just too dry. The service wasn't attentive at all. So all in all it turned out really bad. A pity!

Wir sind Stammgäste und sehr regelmäßig im Restaurant. Die Begrüßung ist immer sehr herzlich. Der Service ist freundlich und schnell. Und das auch, wenn der Laden mal wieder sehr voll ist. Das Restaurant ist rustikal eingerichtet und sauber. Auch die Tagesgerichte waren immer lecker, wenn auch nicht typisch griechisch. Aber, muss man ja nicht essen… Mein Tipp, Puten Souvlaki mit Pommes. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Been there for the second time. This time the staff was rather unfriendly and short. As a matter of course, I received the warm starter plate as a main course and my main course salad as a starter!?! The warm appetizer plate had a lot of meat on it, even though this wasn't listed on the menu for the warm appetizers, unfortunately I don't eat meat. The baked eggplant etc. were not seasoned at all, my salad had no dressing. After we paid (we hadn't been there for 2 hours) the glasses, which had just become empty, were immediately pulled from under our noses and the candle was taken away. Simply impossible, never again!

Very friendly and unobtrusive staff, I really like that. The food is also highly recommended. For smaller groups of 10-12 people, there is a fireplace room where you can have some privacy. We'd love to come back.

The service was completely overwhelmed. Ordered drinks. Waited 25 minutes, clearly too slow. Starters very tasty. But then the main course for 16.90 € dry meat skewer, grilled almost to death. Today we spontaneously went to this restaurant with 3 people because we were just on the corner. The service staff do a good job, as does the chef. We all enjoyed the food very much. Nice little familiar Greek restaurant with large portions -

Unfortunately quite reduced. There are no more olives in the salad. The portion of French fries has become smaller. In general, the courts have become smaller. There was actually potato salad in the cold starter plate???!!! The tzatziki has also changed for the worse, it no longer tastes as tasty as it used to. I'm sorry, but that needs to be addressed, because the prices have become higher and the food is worse and less. That simply does not work.

Three days in Hamburg, three stops at the tavern. Large selection, great taste. Rarely had such good lamb chops. Drinks were cheaper than in the tourist hotspots. The Taverna is guaranteed to be on the visit list the next time you visit Hamburg.

We were there yesterday and very disappointed. We booked a table at 5 p.m. Unfortunately we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food (and not the first time). When we asked, we were always put off. If we hadn't been there with friends, we would have left. We had a theater date afterwards. So all we had to do was wolf down the food in 15 minutes. The staff's apology didn't help much. The food was ok. But we won't come back. Last but not least, we had a banana juice on the bill, which we didn't even order, let alone consume. The store has really slowed down.

Wir waren gestern mit vier Personen vor Ort, um vor dem Theaterbesuch mit griechischem Essen einen schönen Abend einzuläuten. Nach 1 1/2 Std. standen die Speisen endlich auf dem Tisch. Uns blieb eine viertel Stunde um die Mahlzeit zu beenden, denn unsere nachfolgende Veranstaltung wartet nicht, bis die - vermutlich wegen der Annahme zu vieler Lieferado-Bestellungen - überforderte Küche das Essen zubereitet hat. Nachfragen beim Personal wurden beiläufig abgetan und „Entschuldigungs-Ouzos“ helfen dann auch nicht weiter, besonders wenn man“s eilig und keinen Alkohol trinkt. Geschmacklich war es nicht überragend und festigt nach einem enttäuschenden Besuch das Ergebnis: Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Wir waren gestern dort und sehr enttäuscht. Wir haben zu um 17.00 Uhr einen Tisch bestellt. Leider mussten wir 1,5 Std. auf unser Essen warten (und das nicht das erste Mal). Auf Nachfrage wurden wir immer wieder vertröstet. Wären wir nicht mit Freunden dort gewesen, wären wir gegangen. Wir hatten hinterher noch einen Theatertermin. So blieb uns nur, das Essen in 15 Minuten runterzuschlingen. Die Entschuldigung des Personals half wenig. Das Essen war ok. Wir werden aber nicht wieder kommen. Zu guter Letzt hatten wir noch einen Bananensaft auf der Rechnung, den wir gar nicht bestellt, geschweige denn verzehrt haben. Der Laden hat echt nachgelassen.

Unfortunately that was nothing: Yesterday we were there with four people to start a nice evening with Greek food before going to the theater. After 1 1/2 hours the food was finally on the table. We had a quarter of an hour to finish the meal, because our subsequent event didn't wait until the kitchen, which was overwhelmed - probably due to accepting too many Lieferado orders - had prepared the food. Questions from the staff were casually dismissed and “apology ouzos” don’t help, especially if you’re in a hurry and don’t drink alcohol. In terms of taste, it wasn't great and consolidates the result after a disappointing visit: We won't be coming back.

Wir sind zu Dritt und kommen schon seit langem sehr gern hierher! Den Mittagstisch genießen wir sehr. Er ist immer sehr lecker und preiswert. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich - und das Lokal einfach gemütlich! Morgen mittag sind wir wieder da!

Obwohl das Restaurant voll war und wir nicht reserviert hatten, wurde uns 2 ein Platz fertig gemacht. Vielen Dank dafür. Das Essen hier ist super. Der Service ist fleißig, aufmerksam und super nett. Nicht weiter zu empfehlen, mir ist im Laden schon schlecht geworden und das ganze Essen kam raus. Meine Begleitung ist direkt vor dem Laden schlecht geworden. Uns geht es immer noch nicht gut. Wir sind hier im Hagenbeck Hotel zu Besuch und wollten eigentlich nur ein Abendessen.

Tolles griechisches Restaurant!:)

Das Restaurant macht vom Inneren her einen ziemlich gedrängten Eindruck. Es gibt noch einen Anbau, in dem es in kühleren Zeiten echt kalt ist. Der wird auch nur geöffnet, wenn es voll ist. Da dann die Verbindungstür offen steht, wird es im angrenzenden Raum auch schnell kühl. Also immer warm anziehen, wenn man dort hin möchte. Das Essen schmeckt, aber auch nicht überragend. Ein Kellner schlawenzelt ständig um einen herum und guckt,ob es nicht noch etwas zu bestellen gibt. Das nervt etwas. Ansonsten gibt es vor und nach dem Essen einen Ouzo.

Mittagstisch : große Auswahl und sehr günstig. Zu jedem Gericht wird ein Salat und eine Suppe serviert.

Kleines etwas verschachteltes Restaurant. Leckeres traditionelles griechisches Essen, mehr als nur Gyros. Die Tintenfischringe sind sehr gut zubereitet, keine Gummiringe. Zu empfehlen: der Nautilusteller.

Essen und die Bedienung waren top. Das Ambiente ist ein bisschen altbackend. Waren zum Mittagstisch dort. Habe mir Gyros mit Champignons in Tomatensauce und Käse überbacken mit Pommes Frites bestellt als Vorspeise gab es Tomatensuppe und einen Salat (9,80€) war mal wieder sehr lecker und auch eine sehr gute Portion. Dieses mal habe ich mir Souzukakia mit Pommes Frites (13,50€) bestellt. Die Hackröllchen waren so fluffig einfach nur lecker kann ich nur empfehlen. Heute gab es Bifteki mit Pommes Frites und Tsatsiki(15,50€). Das Hack war sehr saftig und locker. Kann mann auch nur empfehlen. In meiner Rolle als Google Local Guide hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, das Restaurant Taverna Omiros in Hamburg zu besuchen, und möchte meine Erfahrungen teilen. Das Essen in diesem griechischen Restaurant war absolut köstlich und zudem preiswert. Die Portionen waren großzügig bemessen, und ich konnte die authentischen Aromen der griechischen Küche voll genießen. Der Service war in Ordnung. Die Mitarbeiter waren höflich, aber es schien, als könnten sie ein bisschen mehr Aufmerksamkeit auf die Bedürfnisse der Gäste legen. Leider war die Location etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte eine Modernisierung vertragen. Das Ambiente war nicht besonders ansprechend und die Karten bei uns drei Gästen waren etwas "abgegrabbelt", aber das leckere Essen hat dies weitgehend wettgemacht. Auch die Auswahl an Speisen war sehr gut. Alles in allem war mein Besuch im Taverna Omiros in Hamburg eine positive Erfahrung, hauptsächlich aufgrund des köstlichen und preiswerten Essens. Sah von außen etwas rustikal aus, waren aber positiv überrascht. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht. Wir haben frisch, gut und preiswert gegessen. Würde ich sofort wieder hingehen!

Leider hat uns nicht gut geschmeckt. Schlechte Bedienung, obwohl wenig Gäste. Getränke lauwarm bei 28 °C.

Die Tagesempfehlung war frischer Spargel mit diversen " Beilagen " Lachs ,Rib eye Steak oder Lammfilet. Diese wurden dann in Vorfreude auf den Spargel bestellt.Das Fleisch war hervorragend, allerdings gab es dazu 4 äußerst dünne Spargelstangen weich gekocht! nicht zu glauben..... immerhin die Tagesempfehlung die Reaktion des Kellners : das ist der günstigste Preis für Spargel in ganz Hamburg .Für mich keine Empfehlung, Schade

Außen Anlage sehr unsauber nicht einladend. Das Essen war nicht gut..Die Einrichtung war entsprechend gut. Wir werden dort nicht wieder hingehen.

Bin immer wieder höchst zufrieden. Seit den 70er Jahren existiert das Restaurant (früher IMBISS) und es ist immer wieder ein Genuss. Plätze sind fast nur mit einer Reservierung zu bekommen. Das Restaurant ist (fast) immer ausgebucht.
