Restaurant Heinrichs in Heringsdorf

We were a bit skeptical based on the average reviews, but the atmosphere appealed to us so much that we wanted to try it out. So we reserved a table. And we weren't disappointed, it was awesome! The atmosphere, classically cozy with modern accents, invites you to linger. The service was very attentive. There is a very select selection of wines and other drinks. The menu is slim but very selected and cleverly composed. The dishes were very good with some regional ingredients. Everything was consistent and tasted very good. Unfortunately, you get fed up so quickly that you can't try everything.

We were there yesterday spontaneously and without a reservation. Every table was full, but we were lucky and got another one. It was a successful evening for us. We had a starter, main course and dessert and everything was great and very tasty. The atmosphere is really very cozy and inviting. Our waiter was also extremely friendly. We would stop here at any time if we wanted to experience a special evening. Keep it up!

Excellent service, food was very good and overall a lovely evening

No star would be more appropriate because, despite a confirmed reservation with a dog 6 days ago, no table was provided in the restaurant last night and we were supposed to have the birthday dinner we wanted in the bar next door. Something like that doesn't work at all... we struggled to salvage the ruined evening, which luckily we managed to do spontaneously in another restaurant. But Heinrichs again? Absolutely not... the other bad reviews speak for themselves.

I can't understand the bad reviews. The food is terrific. The service is calm, courteous and simply friendly. In addition, the guest room is really cozy and beautiful. Price performance is also very good. Best meal we had in Heringsdorf.

One can only wonder what the hood is supposed to be here. The food (plaice) was downright bland and tasted like it had been warmed up. It was to be served without the wine ordered, although the "supply" was provided quickly upon request. And finally there was this carefree service, not entirely focused on the well-being of the guests. A bit disappointing. Alternative to this restaurant: Honest fish sandwich including beer/wine in a good beach bistro.

Service poor - service very annoyed. Not every table gets bread and olives (perhaps they just forgot). No wine service - it is not given away. - The starter was still there - the main course had already arrived (according to the statement: the kitchen was too quick)....an evening wasted Was there as an accompanying person... A compliment to the deputy restaurant manager - very friendly, competent demeanor.

The food was good, but not quite reasonable considering the prices. The manager was rude and ruined the evening for my wife and me. Even the people at the next table noticed it. The wine was good but too expensive for the quality. If it had been possible, I would have canceled the order and gone to another restaurant.

Unfortunately, we probably chose the wrong restaurant for our anniversary. Service annoyed and quite brisk. Food, well, sometimes cold Price & performance not justified. All in all: maybe we just weren't lucky that one evening or we're already too "spoiled" by better food, ambience and service. I wouldn't go there again and can't recommend the restaurant either.

We were really looking forward to eating at this restaurant as the menu outside looked extremely tempting. When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a lady who didn't speak any German, but politely led us to the reception. There we had to speak to another employee who told us in a very unfriendly manner that the restaurant doesn't open until 6 p.m. and that we should make a reservation in the future. The sound makes the music and I had the impression that young guests are not welcome in this restaurant.

Our stay at the Strandhotel Heringsdorf on Usedom was simply fantastic and we can only recommend the house - based on our experiences - to all holidaymakers: Apart from the fact that the hotel is located directly on the beach promenade, just a few steps from the beach, we were particularly impressed from the friendliness and professionalism of the service staff. The culinary quality in the hotel restaurant "Heinrich's" was simply outstanding. Special requests were also fulfilled effortlessly and the kitchen always managed to impress us with its culinary delights. Overall, the Strandhotel Heringsdorf offers a perfect combination of first-class service, historical-modern combined architecture and excellent gastronomy. We are happy to have spent our vacation and some dinners there and would like to say “Thank you!” Werner Munch

A pity! I actually wanted to end my last day of vacation here particularly deliciously, but at 5:50 p.m. I asked whether it was even possible to eat there without a reservation. I was told in a not really friendly manner that the door would be opened from 6 p.m. and that I could then take a seat in the other part. When it came to service, I missed a friendly smile to greet me. I waited full of anticipation for the foamed lobster soup with scallops. It was tasty, but it would definitely have been much better hot rather than lukewarm. Then came the sole with a great leek and sweet potatoes. And again everything was just lukewarm. I have no idea if it came from the kitchen or if the service was too busy somewhere else. As soon as I put down my napkin, my plate was cleared away, which almost felt like being thrown out. I can only describe my conclusion from this evening as "It's a shame about dinner" and I don't feel like making a second attempt.

I was ignored by service for almost half an hour. Then I was told that there would only be a buffet that evening and no menu. The tone was consistently quite unfriendly and people were obviously overwhelmed.

The four of us wanted to eat there yesterday. Half past six in the evening. What a rude and unfriendly lady there was at the reception. Empty restaurant, supposedly all tables reserved. A colleague told us that it was only like that from 8 p.m. We would have eaten by then. Then the colleague took the daily menu from the noticeboard with the corners of her mouth down and said harshly: “But there is only one here!!” (Very spartan) We then left and had a very good meal somewhere else and were served in a friendly manner. If you don't feel like gastronomy, you should do something else. Keep your eyes open when choosing a career. Hospitality is something else and you'll never see me here again.

I had a fantastic time here. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We recommend!

I loved the little flowers in my food, everything was so tasty. The excellent service was the cherry on top.

We were in the restaurant, which is located directly on the beach promenade, shortly after it opened (from 6 p.m.). We had reserved and wanted a cozy place for two. Unfortunately this was not complied with and so we sat on the presentation plate in the middle of the restaurant. The staff also needed a little "getting started" until you had the feeling that you were a valued guest - but after that everything was at a good level. The choice of food was very limited, as is usual in good restaurants, but it could actually have been a little more generous. All in all, it's not a surprising or experimental cuisine, but it's very well executed in terms of craftsmanship. We had corn-fed chicken on beluga lentils and zander fillet, parsnip... The starter, a foamed wild garlic soup, tasted excellent! The “Grüner Veltliner” (0.2er) to accompany the main course was a little too high in temperature. We would have loved to choose a suitable dessert, but there were only 3 to choose from, which unfortunately didn't appeal to our "taste buds", so only a delicious blueberry liqueur rounded off the meal. Another word about the price level - average... In summary - despite the very manageable selection, it is recommended and tastes very good!

I am a regular and, above all, happy guest at the 'Heinrichs' restaurant. As in all sensual experiences, it is the UNITY of content and form that makes your stay there a lasting pleasure. Freely based on the words of our poet laureate Goethe when he says 'No pleasure is temporary, because the impression it leaves is lasting' At Heinrichs you will meet a highly motivated team that has made high-level gastronomy their passion. The cuisine, gustatory balanced, tasty and - depending on the season - varied, is represented to the guest by a service team, which the guests entrusted to them not only see but also recognize over the course of the evening. Excellent cuisine and friendly service who care about their guests.

The Strandhotel is one of our favorite restaurants in Heringsdorf. We pay attention to regional and organic ingredients. The service was ok. There was no greeting from the kitchen at all. The bread wasn't one of the high-quality types of bread, more like baked goods. The plates were excellently prepared. Meat and fish perfect. The sauces were excellent. Celery a taste experience. Overall it is a nice restaurant, however our expectations were not met. Little things, special features in the service, ambience were missing.

Very nice and stylishly furnished restaurant in the Hotel Strandhotel Heringsdorf. Very friendly service and delicious food, decoratively and lovingly prepared, I can especially recommend the tagliatelle with truffle cream sauce. There's good wine and espresso afterwards, and you'll be really full. It is often quite crowded because many hotel guests also eat in the restaurant, so I recommend reserving a table in advance.

Once again an absolute delight. Anyone who wants to eat very well on Usedom can't ignore "Heinrich". The quality of the food is very high. The service was very courteous and the ambience was dignified. This is where the palate comes to enjoy 👍🏻.

Wir sind spontan auf das Restaurant gestoßen und wurden herzlich empfangen. Tolles Essen, besonders die Wildgerichte haben es uns angetan, so dass wir in unserem Urlaub mehrmals im Strandhotel ins Restaurant und auch in die Safari Bar eingekehrt sind.. Toller Service, tolle Atmosphäre. Bis bald !!

This evening the four of us each ordered the 3-course menu and were very surprised at the quality of the food. The service was very accommodating and very friendly. We were very impressed with the starter, the rump steak was very tasty and at the end the dessert was also very convincing. We would definitely like to come back to this restaurant on the beach promenade!!

After the many negative reviews, we were a bit skeptical. As hotel guests, we still reserved a table. We were warmly welcomed and both being seated at the table and taking the order went quickly and smoothly. The food was delicious and really high quality. We were in the restaurant for a total of 2 hours for a 2-course menu. It's still acceptable - after all, we're on vacation and want to enjoy the time.

Unfortunately not for us. In our opinion, the price-performance ratio is not right here. The main courses cannot be ordered individually, but are available as a minimum as a 2-course menu (either with a starter or dessert). Every dish is the same price, regardless of whether it is a pasta dish, steak, schnitzel or fish. The taste of the food was okay, but not exceptional either. Although the ambience is nice, we felt a bit uncomfortable because we felt like we were being watched. The service was also quite "cool". Maybe more of a restaurant for the "rich and famous" as they say.

First the positive - the food is very good, creatively prepared and tastes classed as higher-end cuisine. A 2 or 3-course menu plus wine accompaniment leads to an entertaining dinner. Highly recommended! Now the less positive thing - after other reviews had complained about the service, people (whoever reads the reviews) tend to pay more attention to it. Table was reserved, then waited at the entrance for a table to be assigned. Unfortunately, all (2 or 3) of the service staff were so busy that it actually took almost 5 minutes before we were assigned a table. After that, everything went smoothly until dessert and to our complete satisfaction. Unfortunately there was not enough dessert and had to be added later. Conclusion - fine cuisine with some room for improvement in the service. Still worth recommending.

Had a reservation for 6 people at 7:30 p.m. We arrived on time and were told that the table wasn't ready yet and that we should please wait in the adjacent bar. At 8:30 p.m. and about 5 inquiries later the table was ready. The waitress didn't seem very friendly and only came to the table after 5 minutes to bring the menu. While ordering, she forgot to take the drink orders. The food took a long time to arrive, but otherwise it was good to very good. I still wouldn't come again.

We are in Heringsdorf for a week and test a different restaurant every evening. Heinrichs impresses with its great charm and the very tasty and beautifully prepared food. The service was new and didn't yet know the processes. We received greetings from the kitchen twice, which was more amusing than annoying. Unfortunately we had to wait a very long time for the order (i.e. to be able to order). It wasn't full, but oh well. The staff tried to be professional but failed because of the agreements. It felt like all the waiters were there for us. The food was very good and is definitely a reason to eat there again. The service still needs a lot of practice. At the next table, guests also complained about being kept waiting so long. Unfortunately, loudly. That's not right. We've all started a job and weren't immediately professionals. But whatever. Thanks anyway for the great evening.

1 star just because 0 stars is not possible. We live in 2023 and it's a restaurant right on the beach promenade! However, the super unfriendly staff were either too young for their usual clientele or the rather casual and loose clothing style due to the hot temperatures that day was a thorn in the side. When we sat down and the waiter initially didn't respond at all, we were left sitting there for 10 minutes without being considered. Last but not least, an unfriendly woman stormed up to us and asked us to leave the restaurant because they were fully booked. Please note that there were only two couples sitting inside and all the tables outside were empty. With this statement we were immediately left behind. Service and quality that are simply underground! But if you can afford to alienate younger paying customers like that, then please.

The food was great, but the service was very, very bad. Totally disorganized. Everyone was stressed. Very unfortunate

Ambiance was rather dignified, food was delicious, service was far too slow and disorganized. I see the owner's duty to intervene. There wasn't enough for tips. I doubt whether you still have to hang animals that you probably shot yourself in the winter garden.

Sehr gute regionale Küche mit freundlichem Service.

Gehobenes, stilvolles Restaurant in einem Hotel. Sehr netter Service, zuvorkommend und dennoch nicht aufdringlich. Essen von sehr sehr hoher Qualität. Preislich im oberen Niveau angesiedelt, aber das Geld auf jeden Fall wert.

Das Essen war ganz gut, aber für die Mini-Portionen ist der Preis leider viel zu hoch. Wir sind mit Vorspeise und Hautgang nicht ganz satt gewesen und haben dafür 120€ bezahlt, plus zwei Gläser Wein und eine Flasche Wasser. Die beiden Kellner war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Leider war der eine etwas schwerhörig und hat daher gefühlt durchs ganze Lokal getönt. Was ich als unangenehm empfunden habe, war das permanente Stöhnen und Räuspern älteren Kellners. Das Ambiente erinnert sehr an ein Schiffsinneres. Urig-rustikal mit ein bisschen schick für die älteren Generationen ;-)

Bei einem kurzen Besuch im Haus des Strandhotel,waren wir zum Abendessen. Bei freundliche Bedienung und schmackhafte Speisen,war es mal wieder wie ein Traum. Wir können es sehr empfehlen

Wir haben hier nur kurz verweilt und einen leckeren Apfeltee mit den Kindern getrunken. Die Bedienung war mega nett und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir hatten reserviert und alles hat geklappt. Das Essen und der Service war sehr gut, obwohl auch zu merken war, das Corona auch Nachwehen hat.

Wir waren am Wochenende das erste Mal im Heinrichs essen. Das Restaurant war gut gefüllt. Dank unserer Reservierung haben wir einen schönen Platz am Fenster bekommen. Das Essen kam sehr schnell, war toll angerichtet und hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, kann jedoch ein bisschen aufmerksamer sein. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Essen grandios! Weinauswahl gut. Kaum ein Platz zu bekommen ohne Reservierung! Bedienung sehr freundlich und nett. Wünsche wurden alle erfüllt!

Perfekt! Die Speisen und der Service waren überzeugend. Hier stimmte einfach alles. Die Begrüßung war freundlich, das Weinangebot ist gut gewählt, das Menü (Chateaubriand) war ganz hervorragend. Als wenn das nicht reichen würde, war der Service auch noch super zuvorkommend. Wir wünschen anderen Restaurants auch so eine freundliche und aufmerksame Ewa (die sich um uns gekümmert hat). Es war aber nicht nur Ewa, das gesamte Team war vorbildlich, es war immer dann da, wenn es gebraucht wurde. Die Preise sind - gemessen an der Qualität - sehr fair. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden bestens bewirtet. Hier ist man wirklich Gast und nicht nur Kunde.
