I've never eaten such good Greek food before. The service was also very good. The ladies were polite and friendly. I come from Berlin, and restaurants there are always quite loud. I was surprised how relaxed the noise level was. If we vacation here again, we'll definitely come back.

Always full, so reservations are essential! Friendly and efficient staff, but you do need to be patient. The kitchen could be a bit faster.

A restaurant in the heart of Zell. We got a table here with a reservation, as chances of getting a table spontaneously seemed rather slim. The food was good and the portion sizes were adequate.

Seven of us went there for dinner. The welcome was really good... genuine hospitality. The food was amazing; there was nothing to complain about for the seven people. The food came to the table at the same time. Everything was freshly prepared. There was so much that we couldn't finish it all. They even offered to take the leftovers home with us. We can only say thank you... keep up the good work.

We couldn't get a seat without a table reservation. When asked whether a takeaway meal could be prepared, we were told that ordering would take at least two hours. I don't think you have to wait two hours for your food in a restaurant. They simply didn't want us as guests...well, not then!

We had a delicious meal here last night with eight people. The food was truly delicious, and the large appetizer platter for everyone was a real surprise. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The service was very friendly and well-organized. The fact that we had to wait a little longer for the food was probably due to the large order and the restaurant being busy. Conclusion: Highly recommended.

We were there on a Thursday evening. It was quite crowded inside. We were able to get a seat outside. They kindly informed us that there might be a wait. This didn't bother us because they assured us that appetizers would be served relatively quickly. The flatbread with feta cheese, tomato sauce, and garlic was really delicious. The main course arrived after about 30 minutes, which was fine. The gyro baked with Metaxa sauce was very tasty. The waitress even asked us every now and then if everything was okay. This deserves a full five stars.

A very pleasant restaurant: excellent advice when ordering, very friendly and competent service, and, of course, extremely tasty and plentiful food. The "Poseidon" plate was fantastic, and if we're back on vacation, we'll definitely eat at El Greco! One final important tip: MUST make a reservation! Unfortunately, everything was booked the first evening, and we were only able to enjoy such an excellent meal the next day.

We didn't have a reservation, but upon request, we were given two seats outside. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly.

Never been treated so badly. No sign indicating whether a reservation was made, nor any sign saying we should wait at the entrance. A snarky reply, everyone here would know that. BUT NOT A TOURIST! Five negative points, if possible! Tourists, avoid this place!

I absolutely cannot understand why guests are treated so poorly. We sat down at a table that was obviously free and were looking forward to a good meal. After a while, we were sent away because we hadn't made a reservation. There were three tables for two available and they weren't marked as reserved. Why not put a sign on the table or welcome guests by seating them? Very unfriendly to tourists.

Very nice restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious; everything was homemade, I'd say. The picture shows the Metaxa sauce, which I ordered to try. This is also homemade, and not powdered like most other sauces.

The salad wasn't well-mixed and didn't taste good. It was simply a huge chunk of onion, a bit of lettuce, and a huge dollop of sweet, ready-made yogurt dressing. My chicken also came with a disgusting, sweet, ready-made sauce.

6 tables free, and yet a message that it will take "sehr lange". When I comment that 6 tables are free, the lady turns around without answering and walks away. Missed opportunity! Addition: The owner's comment on my and other people's bad review says enough about the service in question, I think.

Although we arrived spontaneously without a reservation and the restaurant was busy, the waitress immediately attended to us attentively. She pointed out that there might be a wait and kindly offered us a seat – which was perfectly fine with us. We were on vacation, so relaxed anyway, and knew that good, freshly prepared food takes time. In the end, the wait was more than worth it – not just for the food, but especially for the atmosphere and the exceptionally friendly staff. This is exactly what you want for a successful evening.

Delicious Greek food offered at a fair price. Portions are a good size. There's an air-conditioned dining room inside, and a few tables are available outside on the street. The service is pleasant and available in English as well.

Had a lovely meal here on June 24th, we hadn't made a reservation. But despite it being a Tuesday, the place was almost full. If we had arrived half an hour later, we would have been unlucky. The service was quick and despite it being busy, they had everything well organized. The portions were more than enough and the tsatsiki was super tasty. The place was modernized and atmospheric, only the sanitary facilities could do with a makeover. It was clean, but really dated from the 80s. All in all, highly recommended.

The food was good. The restaurant was okay, clean, and the service was simple. We had to wait a very long time: 20 minutes for drinks and almost an hour for the food. We wouldn't go back. We had reserved a table, but it wasn't set.

The gyro was very fatty and looked like it had been sliced ​​off a doner kebab skewer. The finely chopped coleslaw was of mediocre discount-store quality. The bifteki (meat joint) was okay. The side dishes were generally below average. Nothing outstanding in terms of taste. On the plus side, the friendly service and the side salad with the bifteki. We often eat Greek food, but certainly not here anymore.

We booked a table. We asked for an outside table, but all four tables were reserved. Ordering was quick, and so were the drinks. The food took a long time, even though only three-quarters of the restaurant was full. The grilled food came faster than the salad plate, and the appetizer came with the salad. After about an hour and a half, we were finished and left; two of the four outside tables were still free.

I found the taste less pronounced and authentic than the food on the Greek mainland, but I still enjoyed a very tasty Poseidon dish (19€). Price-quality ratio is good. Staff is friendly and more than willing to accommodate special dietary needs.

Grill buffet in the vineyard, great environment. Unfortunately, the meat was a bit dry in places and I found it difficult to allocate the portions.

Had a very tasty meal today. We had flatbread with a large portion of tzatziki, the Poseidon plate and the suflaki skewers. The meat was cooked to perfection. Well seasoned and really juicy. The main courses included a very tasty salad and at the end an ouzo (on the house). The wine (Riesling sweet and Samos) was exactly to our taste. The staff was super friendly. We'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful evening. The food was excellent. As a starter we had bread with tomato sauce, garlic and feta. As the main course, a shepherd's skewer and one bifteki. Both dishes were accompanied by a very fresh and well-portioned mixed salad. There was also a portion of fries and a very tasty tzatziki each. Tastes great! Quality top! We'd love to come back!

Today we were with 4 adults and 2 children (10 & 1 year). We were warmly welcomed by the service staff. The order went quickly and we were asked nicely if we wanted to get the dish for the little ones with the starter. Everything was fine up to this point. Then the salads came for us and then the 2 plates for 2 people each, the portions were more than enough, but our junior had to wait quite a long time for his gyro plate. It was a bit stupid for us at the table. Well, overall it didn't convince us. The table we were sitting at was quite small and we had to be careful that the little one didn't get to the hot plate.

I walked here full of courage because of the good reviews, and the reception was friendly and attentive with the menu immediately. After consuming the drinks and food, we finally quickly received the starter. We started the starter cold or we already got the main course that made us feel nauseous. We quickly got everything in order because there was a large group of men who came to eat and otherwise we would have had to wait a long time for the main course. That is not our problem, but the problem that there were too few people in the kitchen. Now we had no choice, otherwise we would certainly have done it differently. The food looked tasty, but our enjoyment of an evening out was ruined, and we actually felt discriminated against because we were not Germans but Dutch. It's a pity that this evening was ruined in this way and that is why no tip was given when leaving. This case didn't deserve that. Too bad but unfortunately

We were here on Saturday September 28th. The food in this restaurant is delicious, but the service is really very bad. After we were taken to our table it took 20 minutes before someone came to ask if we wanted something to drink. Then the starter arrived on time, but then it was quiet again for half an hour. Apparently the cook had then prepared our main course. When they brought it, everything from the starter was still on the table. However, it made no impression whatsoever. The restaurant was now half empty, but the staff was so busy with themselves that they still didn't pay attention to their guests. We were curious how long it would take before someone would ask us if we wanted anything, coffee or dessert, but that was a hopeless mission. In the end we paid and left. The food was very good but the service was really bad. Very unfortunate.

Es sollte ein Tisch im Vorfeld reserviert werden. Wir sind spontan eingekehrt ohne Reservierung, das Lokal war gut besucht Die nette Bedienung hat es noch möglich machen können, dort zu essen. Und es hat sich gelohnt, Geschmack war vorzüglich, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis perfekt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen die Lokalität gerne weiter.

This Greek restaurant absolutely deserves its good reviews. The food is excellent, the staff is very friendly and you sit very nicely, especially not so close together. From now on it will become an integral part of our Moselle tour. Clear recommendation.

Leider kamen wir nicht dazu, dort zu essen. Grund? Die Türe war zu und in der Tür stand eine Tafel. Auf dieser stand, dass das Restaurant am ABEND zu bleiben würde wegen technischen Schwierigkeiten. Alles gut, aber da leider nicht ersichtlich war, von wann das Schild war und ob es noch Gültigkeit hat, da es gerade 12 Uhr war, schauten wir mal durch die Fenster. Schließlich wurden draußen ja auch 3 Frauen bedient!!! Schön wäre es gewesen, wenn man einfach mal die Türe aufgemacht hätte und uns dann nett gesagt hätte, dass das Restaurant mittags dann auch noch nicht aufmachen kann. Statt dessen, gab es Kaffee und nette Worte für diese 3 Frauen und für uns ein lapidares an die Tür klopfen und auf die Tafel zeigen!!!! Einfach nur unmöglich und frech! Für Essen und Ambiente gebe ich netterweise mal 3 Sterne, abgeleitet aus den bisherigen Bewertungen!

Everything was good, but unfortunately it wasn't clear when the sign was from and whether it was still valid, as it was just 12 o'clock, so we took a look through the window. After all, 3 women were served outside!!! It would have been nice if they had just opened the door and then told us nicely that the restaurant couldn't open at lunchtime. Instead, there was coffee and nice words for these 3 women and for us a succinct knock on the door and point to the board!!!! Simply impossible and cheeky! I would kindly give 3 stars for the food and ambience, based on previous reviews!
