The food is good, the service is friendly, and we always enjoy coming back.

A regular for years. Extremely tastefully decorated. Excellent, home-style cooking with impeccable service. Reservations are recommended on theme days. Still the best value in the neighborhood.

Quaint inn with changing dishes. The Sunday offers are very interesting. There are also horse roulades here.

A rather fancy restaurant with typical German dishes. Food was nice and tasty. Some members of the staff don't speak English and were offended that we don't speak German, which was the only downside of this visit.

We've eaten in this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. That's why I decided to celebrate my big birthday there, and I haven't regretted it in any way. Everything was harmonious, the ambience, the buffet was excellent, the staff and the boss, as we know them, were friendly and humorous.

Absolute recommendation! The food is great, the waiters are a dream and the ambience is great :)

We were here when we were fed up with spare ribs. They were excellent. Also the side dishes. Since it was a buffet offer, which unfortunately wasn't clear from the offer on the internet, you had to be patient and willing to wait in line. The staff can be understood as friendly, but you have to be willing to take a stupid saying in response to any question or order as humor. In addition to the spare ribs, we also had matjes and the Otto Schramm pan. We were very happy with both, but we would have suggested not serving the OS pan in such a hurry, so either using a larger pan or a plate. Krombacher's non-alcoholic beers are too sweet for me.

Is schnitzel really delicious?? French fries are also very delicious. Well, the German staff that was there around 4 o'clock on Monday was friendly, but the Southeast Asian staff that was there around 6 o'clock on Tuesday was unfriendly. The atmosphere was the same, last time I asked about the size of the beer, but this person didn't even ask and just ordered the biggest one; The schnitzel was so good that I went there for two days. Anyway, the schnitzel and fries are really delicious 💕🙂‍↕️ Beef schnitzel highly recommended!!

We were there in mid-January. The food is excellent, the ambience is very tasteful, very nice warm decor. What, on the other hand, not at all What went was the service! The path to the sanitary facilities was commented on in an unfriendly manner in the hospital plural: "We're not going down there." The tone of the female service staff was also ill-tempered and harsh, including towards other guests. It's a shame that you're seriously considering another visit because of this.

Stylish German restaurant, varied menu with themed offerings, fondue, etc. with prior registration.

Very cozy restaurant and well organized friendly staff. We were there for Christmas dinner with the sports group and the food (goose breast and goose leg) was super delicious. There was also something for our vegans (vegan Königsberger Klopse) and this was also very good. All sports fans enjoyed it there.

After the great "full of scampi" outside in the summer, I was there again today (unfortunately only) for the delicious and crispy fried goose leg with red cabbage and kale and dumplings. And it was again very tasty. The sauce was extra and sufficient. We also had the venison goulash and the spicy chicken schnitzels which were also very good. 👍 Thumbs up and it's great that a restaurant like this still exists. At a nearby table, a whole goose was perfectly carved and served to guests. I'm already looking forward to the Eisbein in January. Many kind regards to everyone who takes care of the guests there🤝

The two of us were at the Berliner Hof for the first time on November 20th, 2024 with a reservation by telephone. To make it short: Gastronomy is lived in this restaurant. This is reflected not only in the quality of the food (we had the vegetarian Königsberger Klopse and the Otto Schramms pan) and the service, but also in the ambience and the way we treat the guests. We still know terms like empathy and warmth. It's almost like you're visiting friends. That's why EVERYTHING is different at Berliner Hof - and at comparatively fair prices. Thanks for the great time!

06/26/23: Veal liver Berlin style: Delivered quickly and rarely eaten such tender veal liver, there could have been an apple slice more, but that's complaining on a high level. Sooo delicious. The best food at Lieferando... Let's see if I'm lucky and get delivered. June 5th, 2022: everything as always, super delicious food. BUT: Please do NOT sprinkle any herbs on my food, I wrote specifically. The cook cuts the chopped parsley early and it sits in a can all day. By the time the cook sprinkles them over the food, the little pieces are as dry as paper. And that's what it feels like in your mouth. Dried parsley pieces do nothing for food, at least nothing good. That's complaining at a high level, because the food is really good. Just PLEASE leave the old scattered herbs AWAY. May 22nd, 2022: super fast, super delicious food, everything as usual and not usual at all other restaurants. The BEST here of ALL, five stars isn't enough... October 23rd, 2021: very delicious farmer's breakfast with 4!!! cucumbers, thank you October 11th, 2021: The best farmer's breakfast there is.... I also got two cucumbers again, great September 27th, 2021: 50 minutes, hot tagliatelle, lots of garlic, as requested. Otherwise good taste after salt and good portion.

Yesterday we were at the Berliner Hof twice. We were 4 people for the slaughter banquet. My husband is seriously ill and can't eat this. He specially ordered black pudding. The question was asked again - potatoes or fried potatoes. He wanted potatoes - fried potatoes came. I took a bowl like I did 40 years ago to take some of the load down. Old people who are sick cannot eat huge portions. But they consistently refuse to give half a portion. If you sit in front of an overloaded plate and the potatoes are put in front of you, you'll feel sick. It's a shame, we have Indians, Spaniards and Italians with us - it's never a problem. When we have eaten we also drink, many guests left immediately after eating, a host has to see something like that. But unfortunately... When we were there to eat herring, we sat there for 4.5 hours and also drank very well. But that doesn't count. It's a shame a bit of accommodating older people would have been nice in this restaurant. Our Hoppegarten in Steglitz - my husband gets every small portion without any problems. So it's okay, you just have to think about the sick people.

We took the U-Bahn south from Kurfürstendam to explore the Wilmersdorf area and find some good quality German food! And the Berliner Hof did not disappoint in any way. We walked the quite streets and found this little local gem! Very friendly staff and they were even impressed by my German speaking skills. My son had a perfect schnitzel! The wife had a really good fish (Forelle) and I had the Zwiebelrostbraten which was excellent! The youngest had a kids menu schnitzel! Everything was tasty and cooked to perfection! We shared a Kaisersscharrn for dessert which was explained as pancakes (kaput gemacht) with vanilla ice cream and apple sauce! Really nice! Take a tour to Wilmersdorf and eat some great German food here!

The best chef in Berlin. You should always make a reservation here. The service staff is uniquely good. The donations to the table are unique. International soccer stars often come to Sebastian. Bravo 👍 I'm looking forward to dinner tonight.

Der Empfang war sehr nett. Das Essen ... wie immer reichlich und lecker. Die lockere und entspannte Atmosphäre während unseres Auffenthalt war sehr angenehm. Nur unser Kellner war weder locker noch entspannt und wirkte mit seinem schwarzen Bärtchen etwas lustlos. Der Chef hingegen war immer bereit einzuspringen, wo es nötig ist. Er empfahl seine Angebote des Tages gab auch Tips für für die nächsten Aktionen und Veranstaltungen in seinem Lokal. Daumen hoch, wir kommen wieder.

Friendly staff, warm and delicious food, and a variety of flavorful beers all satisfy. I really want to find it again^^

The operation is quick, both in operation and with the mouth. The exchange of blows was very funny. Personally, I had bad luck with my choice of dish. Everyone else at the table enjoyed it. I had a large salad, which unfortunately wasn't that big... but the dressing was just sprinkled on it. When I told the waiter this, the chef came shortly afterwards with a gravy boat... but by then I had already eaten everything. As I said, it wasn't that much. But as I said, the others enjoyed it. All rather good home cooking. Then a few calories for dessert: Kaiserschmarrn. It had nothing to complain about, although I didn't understand what vanilla ice cream was supposed to be about. But that was also delicious.

We were traveling in Berlin for 2 days, ate at the Berliner Hof both days, very tasty, decent portions, fresh mushrooms (I love them), great service with typical Berlin heart and soul. Prices okay too, no one can complain about that 😉 with that We would love to come back next trip!

Food average, service okay. No reason to come back. By the way, you get a schnapps on the house if you write a good review, which of course explains a lot 😉 the bad reviews are commented on immaturely, aggressively and almost insultingly. This also gives us a deep insight. ...So I'm excited to see what I'll "hear".

First of all, the positive: The beer tastes good. Let's get to the food: The Königsberger meatballs were totally over salted. When I asked the waiter about it, he reacted ambivalently and said that the dish had already been sold five times today and no one had complained. I'm looking forward to the owner's comment. Before you come, make the effort to read the reaction to the one-star review.

The food was just edible. The schnitzel tasted just as much like old oil as the fries. The only thing that tasted good was the beer. When asked about the quality there were only excuses. Never again.

My husband and I were there on Tuesday, we had a small salad as a starter that apparently hadn't been washed, mine had a meat side dish and what was it? Thank you very much for that, it's just sad that we still had to pay for the salad and there wasn't even an apology for the fact that there was an animal in the food. Schnitzel tastes better and is definitely better than there. The only thing that was somewhat edible were the fries. We definitely won't come here again and definitely don't recommend it.

A restaurant directly at Volkspark Wilmersdorf. Our schnitzel and fries were a 10/10! Crispy yet juicy. The Kaiserschmarrn was also very tasty, especially with the apple sauce on the side. The prices are clear. We spent €14.50 per person for the schnitzel. You can easily pay €21 for that elsewhere in Berlin.

Convenience: the mushroom sauce for €4 as a side dish tasted “cheesy” like a cream sauce made from powder. Very small, second-choice canned mushrooms were also used here. Everyone can imagine the taste. The steak was more of a cheap cut with tendons. The service was rather average, only the ambience was nice. We go here every 5 years, but we are always surprised that nothing has improved.

Had a Haxe meal with my husband on Saturday, like everything else, GREAT again! You can't do it at all, and first the sauce... Maybe skip one or two restaurants in the future and go here straight away.

Went here yesterday with friends to eat pork knuckles, the best in town!!! We also know three other restaurants in Berlin that even have the word “Haxen” in their name, no comparison! On top of that, extremely worthy of a prize.

A very well-kept restaurant with courteous and warm service. We were there with 8 children and everyone enjoyed it very much.

The food was great and the service was very accommodating. Unfortunately, my receipt took away some of my joy because it contained an avoidable comment that excluded me as a woman and as a customer of the restaurant and was somewhat shocking. I mentioned this topic to the service staff when I left the restaurant and the only answer I got was, “yes, that will stay that way” and “our customers think it’s funny”. Short reminder - I am also a customer and would like to share in the quality of all other customers and not be treated as inferior. Maybe an incentive for the future ;)

The “Tuesday Schnirzel” was flawless, the mixed Italian starters were delicious. Good value for money. But hello: Satisfied: 4 stars Excellent: 5 stars (Starters: 5 stars Fried potatoes: 3 stars) If there were RESTAURANT CATEGORIES for the assessment, the Berliner Hof would get 5 stars in a “good home cooking” category.

A “must” for every Schalke player in Berlin if you want to see Schalke’s games. Food top! Nevertheless, the lady who served us on Saturday, March 9th, was very unfriendly and practically drove us away when we were about to leave. “Make room, people are working here...” Restaurant was almost empty…

First time there and really impressed. Very cozy, lots of nice and fast waiters. The beer 🍺 was very tasty, the steak was fried to perfection, with great fried potatoes. Lovely again.
