Difficult without a reservation during the week if you come with three or more people. There is always a place for two. Nice atmosphere but unfortunately only Ganserkölsch and no early but you can't have everything. Rhenish trendy bar with multi-cultural staff but everyone speaks German.

Just a shame! Loved the shop. I come from Bad Godesberg. But I have actually never experienced such poor service as at the Christmas market at Bebelplatz!

The waitress who practically scolds you if you don't leave a tip. Receipt thrown on the table and left without even saying goodbye or thanking, despite the rather high bill. As for food, little variety of dishes. I certainly won't be returning.

Very cozy, super nice, courteous service... Ronny in particular always made sure that our Kölsch never ran out. Top man👍Food 1a at normal, fair prices. I'm not a Cologne native, but I can understand every Cologne resident who lives in Berlin who comes there to feel close to their old home.

You have to have been there at least because of the countless photos on the walls. I had the stuffed cabbage, it was decent and even the K-Pü was homemade. Service and atmosphere were good. All in all it was too loud and too crowded for me. Still recommended!

There were two of us here and we are native Berliners. Had the dumplings and a tarte flambée, and the cold dog for dessert. Well, I have to say, the waiter was quite nice, but the Königsberger Klopse were too “different” for me. If you have a well-known classic on the menu and people come specifically for it, then it should be the original, classic Königsberger Klopse. I didn't like them at all. Which is a shame, because there are hardly any traditional restaurants with real German cuisine left in Berlin. If you mess up the dumplings like that, you could rename them or leave them out completely. And it was even “worse” with the cold dog, which was really completely different than what a cold dog should be. If you really want to eat it and relive old childhood memories, you will be totally disappointed here. But the hammer only came at the end. There was one beer too many on the bill, which we definitely didn't drink. We (two ladies) said this very kindly, but it wasn't canceled, we had to pay for it, on the grounds that it couldn't be checked anymore and we could tell a lot. That was such outrageousness that I have never experienced in my life!!!! And we don't look rancid or run down, quite the opposite. They are both over 50 and were more than elegantly dressed. As I said, we are from Berlin and go out to eat in restaurants at least twice a week, but have never experienced anything so cheeky and outrageous. As if I needed to steal a beer... It's a shame, they don't want regular guests here, they're just looking for quick tourist money.

It is a beautiful place to visit and it looks very nice.

It's now quite a tourist hangout and you won't find a real Köbes here. The food is mostly convenience (just ask for the apple strudel or cheesecake for an incredible €13 - all frozen goods), but still quite ok (Himmel & Ääd). The Kölsch is very tasty

Basically a very nice evening with a nice waiter and delicious food. However, the bitter aftertaste was the outrageous price for a little more mustard with the meatballs. 70 cents for a spoonful of mustard is not appropriate and spoils the otherwise good impression. An otherwise trendy restaurant should think about whether this is really necessary and whether it is worth leaving a negative impression.

Nice for Rhinelanders in exile, it gives them a feeling of home. However, the location is very touristy, as are the prices. But I assume that the rent is appropriate.

Beautiful Cologne pub in the middle of Berlin. Kitchen includes regional food and Cologne classics. There is Gaffelkölsch. Well, there are better ones for my taste. The service was very good

Stylish restaurant on Schiffbauerdamm in Berlin. Decoration with many black and white photos of mostly GDR and FRG politicians. It was packed on a Wednesday evening with a mostly younger crowd. Food: German and good. Tight seating conditions. Conversations were hardly possible, too loud and there was also musical sound that was unnecessary. There were four of us and after the quickly served meal we went to a small restaurant a wine bar to entertain us. We recommend making reservations even in winter.

The food was great and cheap, the service was 100%, the atmosphere was really nice!

Pub / restaurante alemán local. El personal es agradable, fácil de ordenar. Excelente selección de elementos del menú. Los precios eran razonables. El ambiente me pareció muy alemán. Good pub, the food is quite average. But that's not what is faimous for. It is a nice place to spend a few hours and have few beers.

After entering the restaurant, we were shown the seat because a bus with 50 people had just arrived, who of course had priority seating. We then went into the heated outdoor area to drink our Kölsch. It was a bit expensive at 6.30 euros, but it's a tourist trap. We still had fun!

We wanted to celebrate a friend's 30th birthday at the permanent representation last night and had made reservations for 21 people. When we arrived we were greeted extremely unfriendly and told that each person MUST eat at least one main course. It was already shortly before 10 p.m. and we arrived at the STÄV already full, so we were just looking forward to cool drinks. The consumption requirement was never discussed during the reservation process. We then got up and left, which was particularly a shame for the 90-year-old grandparents of the birthday child, who had been looking forward to celebrating their granddaughter's big evening with us and had made the special journey. They only seem to be interested in making a profit here, so for me it's a soulless shop/tourist trap.

Unfortunately very bad experience - not recommended!!! Extremely rude service, especially from Surab. The team is very unreliable: Despite making a reservation by phone and confirming it in writing for late in the evening, we were rudely thrown out of the restaurant because we didn't want to eat any more food at 10 p.m. Clearly not recommended!!!

Unfortunately a very bad experience! Had a reservation for 9:30pm for drinks after a 30th birthday dinner. Reservation by phone was no problem. We were told on site that every guest had to order a “proper main course” and that was communicated as such when making the reservation. But unfortunately that wasn't the case. So everyone, including the 90-year-old grandparents, had to get up and leave again. That's what I call Germany's service desert. I hope you found 20 more guests to eat at 10 p.m. 🤣

recently had the opportunity to dine at Ständige Vertretung, a popular restaurant in Berlin. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the friendly service. The restaurant has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is simple but stylish, with exposed brick walls and wooden tables. Well-known shop, but probably more for tourists. It takes quite a long time to get your food. The service is professional and friendly despite a lot of stress, that's not the reason. But waiting more than half an hour for simple dishes is a lot.

Fantastic place! We went on a recommendation from a friend who lives near Duisburg, and enjoyed a memorable lunch! Staff great, food great ... and a willingness to allow customers to enjoy themselves! We still don't know why many were in fancy dress!! Laughter and friendship all around!

Tuvimos una gran noche aquí, nos encantó cada minuto! Servicio excepcional a pesar de estar lleno hasta las branquias. Grolsch en el grifo mientras esperábamos a que nuestra mesa estuviera preparada. Apuntan tu cuenta de bebidas en la espalda de un compañero de cerveza y eso te sigue a la mesa. Toda la comida era abundante comida de pub, porciones de mamut. Recomiendo encarecidamente el nudillo de cerdo a la parrilla (Krosse Schweinshaxe), Stav burger & Flannkuchen. De alguna manera logró exprimir en un Applestrudel con salsa de vainilla y helado de vainilla que estaba delicioso. We ate inside. You sit at large tables with other guests. The decoration is impressive. The map is online. Located directly on the Spree near Friedrichstadtpalast. We had currywurst, stuffed cabbage and meatballs. The prices aren't exactly cheap but it was worth it for us. Delicious.

We had a long-planned business dinner in the evening. The reservation and a few exchange emails worked perfectly. The ambience in the StäV is very loud due to the station atmosphere and is communicatively disruptive for older people - but familiar. The service was proactive, correct and friendly, even with small subsequent order changes. Extremely negative, more like minus 6 stars: When paying (everything was complete for the whole group) I was given several tip options on the payment Tamagocchi as usual e.g. in America and Canada with 7-12-17%. I wanted to round up well and smoothly, as is usual in Germany with around 5% for good service at such events, since in Europe/Germany the minimum wage can always be assumed. However, I had to listen to it three times: "Were you not satisfied with the service / did you not like it / were you really not satisfied with the service, your company [...] has enough money???" They were simply awesome!!! It was just extremely provocative. In the end there was the 5% for everything OK. In German locations, if the service is just normal, it is still the general standard. But the emphasis ruined the whole evening for me - I have never experienced such extremely provocative begging behavior in Germany. Only, and only because of this, I award one point for the StaeV - their managers are responsible for it too! The rest of the service and the food were 5 points - the pork knuckles were very well received by the meat eaters. Kudos to the kitchen despite the overall rating - you do a really good job and almost everyone in our large group was at the table at the same time! Great organization and professionals at the pans. But unfortunately nothing can make up for the final experience - you are your team. From now on I will have to make and spread a different core recommendation within the company. Sorry, Staev, you somehow made your operating staff too sharp...

The restaurant "Ständige Aktuell" is located at Schiffbauerdamm 8, 10117 Berlin. This is a good restaurant. The ambience and atmosphere there is very pleasant. I drank good beers there and ate a Rhenish sauerbraten. Both were very delicious. The staff is very friendly, helpful, socially competent and very valuable. Highly recommended! Modern but with history and German food culture baked into the food and the service. Location is excellent and the atmosphere is semi beer hall/food hall. Everything that was ordered was on point and the menu was broad. Great blutwurst for me, curry wurst and pork knuckle and the deserts were excellent!

We were there at 4pm on weekdays. The tables are too close and it's too loud.

Right in the middle, right on the Spree and of course not an insider tip. But the food is great, the beer is tasty and the service is quick and attentive.

The restaurant was quite cozy at first. The bill we received was on the high side, partly due to the hamburger. When we wanted to tip, this was not appreciated. According to the waitress we paid too little and we received angry looks/angry words. Too bad it had to end like this, because it was quite fun.

At first it was a very nice experience. When we wanted to pay, and gave a tip, the waitress wasn’t impressed by our tip. She said we should pay more to tip everyone working in the restaurant even when the hamburger was quite expensive… Wouldn’t recommend in the end, since it gave a bitter after taste.

Lively atmosphere and really good German food. We loved the beer, the chicken schnitzel and the fantastic chocolate lava cake. The servers were attentive and very kind. It's a great place to spend a few hours in the evening.

Embrace Your Non-Touristy Side! This local pub was recommended by a Berlin local and my wife and I were glad we tried it. Pizza was tasty, the pub had a nice atmosphere, and the bartenders were very friendly, even if their English wasn't the greatest. With so many spots that cater to tourist, this is a great option to experience a meal or drink with the Berlin locals.

Good food.....home cooking! Unfortunately, despite a reservation (6 people), we had to clear the table after 1.5 hours because they had obviously overlooked the reservation and were not prepared to offer an alternative table, which was a shame. The waiter would quickly get soggy after we at least wanted to finish our drinks.

Worst experience ever. I came with my friend and his family who had come from a very distant abroad. It was their first time in Germany and it was exactly his birthday when we were there. I baked a cake especially for him and brought it to the restaurant and politely asked the waitress if I could put the cake in the fridge because I was afraid it would melt since I had spent so much time on it. Unfortunately the waitress told me that this wasn't possible and that the manager doesn't like and doesn't accept customers bringing cake or even putting it in the fridge temporarily. I explained that my friends were here on vacation and the hotel was very far away, as was my hometown. I understand that it's not good for catering establishments to bring your own food, but the fact that they don't even allow you to put the cake in the fridge was absurd and complete lack of understanding. Aside from that, I chose this place specifically to introduce them to German culture and good German food, as I had been here before and liked the food, but the service and experience ruined a lot and made it impossible to have the food again enjoy. will never come back again.
