The service was a complete disaster... Endlessly overwhelmed... You had to wait forever for drinks... Orders were taken carelessly... The food was a child's portion in my opinion. I've had better taste. All in all, consider yourself lucky if a few guests continue to visit your store. I will definitely avoid you and not recommend you.

The food was solidly good. There were enough service staff, 3 people for around 15 tables outside. (There was no customer inside) But unfortunately you were quickly forgotten or ignored and you had to wait 10 - 15 minutes for your drink Food was put on the table very carelessly and the plate was very sparsely prepared.

Always a nice experience to eat here. The food has never disappointed us so far, starters are fantastic, fries are always crispy and crispy and the lamb is always perfectly cooked. Service is quick and reliable, even when there is a lot going on, and you can have nice conversations with the owners every now and then. In terms of price, the restaurant is in the green range if you consider the quality of the food. Generally a great restaurant and worth recommending to anyone who comes here.

Service was quite friendly, but the food wasn't good at all. Gyros tasted old and oily and the fried vegetables on the starter plate also tasted like old, overused fat. Price-performance doesn't fit.

I recently dined here and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The service was notably slow, and the staff didn’t really check in with customers throughout the meal. The food was mediocre at best, with a salad that was definitely not fresh. Overall, I expected a lot more and was left feeling underwhelmed.

Gyros with sheep's cheese (€16.90) from the Athens restaurant near Heidelberg. Super friendly and fast service in the cozy beer garden. The gyros with sheep's cheese was extremely tasty, seasoned very delicately. The very large plate seemed quite empty; there was no decoration or more food. The grilled pepperoni as a starter (€7.80) was also super tasty 😋

A little hidden away, between allotment gardens, is a Greek restaurant. Very pleasant atmosphere. Very friendly and attentive staff. The food is delicious and highly recommended! Be sure to try the mocha! 👍👍👍

Unfortunately not recommended after my visit. Service staff seemed annoyed. Drinks were forgotten. People asked if tzatziki would be included with the meal. This was answered in the negative. We ordered what tzatziki was with the meal. We say we specifically asked if tzatziki would be included We got an answer, we should have heard better

Went for dinner yesterday, after 3 apartment viewings - all of which were a flop - at the Athens in Heidelberg. We chose the restaurant online at short notice and it was a hit for us that day!!! From the outside, you can't imagine how neat and clean the inside is. Respect!!!Very nicely decorated. We had a Pan.Sheep's cheese with 🍅 and pita bread as a starter and for the main course we had gyros with metaxa sauce, sheep's cheese sauce and tzatziki with fries and salad. It was really excellent and decent sized portions. We would have had an ouzo at the end, but we still had to drive home. Unfortunately we cannot award 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 stars because they don't exist. But that's exactly why we'll be back. This is not a threat but a promise!!! Keep it up. See you next time in Athens. Another note: only cash payment is possible, because the Greeks also know: only cash is real.

I came here today on the recommendation of a Greek friend and was really impressed by the authenticity of this place. It's a real family business! The taste of the red wine spritzer (Makedonikos) has so far been unsurpassed. The presence of a lizard on the terrace gave the place the perfect southern feel.

Everything tasted wonderful. Service was great. Atmosphere was very pleasant. The owners were very nice. An incomparable taste experience, next time we'll try the grilled fish!

everything is perfectly fine! The food is delicious, the hosts are friendly, and the preparation is quick. Local isn't appealing to me, but I only get takeaway there. And nothing is cheap anymore anyway, but the price/performance ratio is ok!

I almost let myself be put off by a few bad reviews, but it was another taste experience like the last few visits.

Special requests are fulfilled. The food tastes freshly prepared.

Today it was unbearable to talk to friends (four of us!) because there was also a wedding/birthday with live music, tables were still full of other guests, hardly any space, and the waiters were overwhelmed. You should be told on the phone when you make your reservation that there is still a company there. Sometimes we had to shout at each other to understand something, for a cozy meal on Saturday evening the school grade was 6 today!!! We've been guests there for years, but the four of us have had enough for now. Maybe you shouldn't clutter up the whole room so much if you can't get around anyway. Less is often more!!!

I can highly recommend this! Also a great location, a little outside. Good parking options. Great service! We got super delicious tiramissu and a delicious cake on the house! Great!👍👍👍🥰

Placing an order wasn't easy. A little friendlier would have been nice too. And the food is just below average. And if the empty plate has some crumbs on it before serving, they kindly blow it away! Doesn't work at all...

Very tasty Greek. We have been there several times and have always been very satisfied. Highly recommend the garlic bread as a starter. Prices are also completely reasonable. In summer you can also sit outside. Staff is very nice and friendly.

The visit to this Greek restaurant was disappointing. The service left a lot to be desired, the waiting times were unbearably long and the worst thing was that in the end they didn't even offer Uzo. Absolutely disappointing and definitely not recommended.

Wir waren zu viert hier sehr lecker Essen. Wir waren im Vorfeld etwas irritiert bezüglich einiger Bewertungen hier bezüglich Höflichkeit, etc. Wir können das nicht bestätigen. Sowohl die Chefin als auch Ihr Mann und Ihr Sohn waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch ausreichend. Alles in allem können wir das Restaurant sehr Empfehlen! Auch wir werden wieder kommen, wenn wir mal wieder auf dem Wohnmoilstellplatz in HEidelberg sind. Von dort sind es ca. 1,4km Fußweg. Vielen Dank nochmal für den schönen Abend und bis zum nächsten Mal.

Die etwas ältere Bedienung ist vielleicht nur eine Aushilfe gewesen. Sie hatte ganz vergessen das wir bestellen wollten und wir haben lange gewartet und mussten drinnen daran erinnern als sie auf dem Sofa lag. Insgesamt hätte sie freundlicher sein dürfen. Das Essen hingegen war sehr lecker.

Leider hat der Service in diesem Lokal sehr abgebaut im Gegensatz zu früher Wir haben uns regelrecht geärgert bei unserem letzten Besuch so dass es wohl auch bei diesem letzten Besuch bleiben wird

Pro: - Das Essen war sehr lecker - Portionen waren recht groß, so dass man ausreichend satt wurde - Atmosphäre gemütlich - Preise ok - barrierefrei zugänglich Contra: - Irgendwie gab es keine richtigen Karten, nur ein ausgedrucktes Blatt mit einem Teil der Speisen (Vor- und Hauptspeisen) sodass man Getränke und z.B Desserts erfragen musste. - Auf dem Kartenauszug gab es keine vegetarischen Gerichte, sodass ich mir nur einen Vorspeisenteller und Dessert bestellt habe, auf der Karte online ist die Auswahl größer! - Auf den Ouzo zum Schluss mussten wir relativ lang warten, Kartenzahlung ist nicht möglich (also unbedingt Bargeld mitnehmen!!! ) und man hat mir 2(!!!) mal Pfirsich- statt Granatapfeleistee gebracht trotz mehrfacher Nachfragen. Erst beim dritten Versuch klappte es. Fazit: Insgesamt waren wir - trotz der oben genannten Abstriche - doch ziemlich zufrieden und kommen wieder!

Wir waren mit sieben Personen hier. Gyros war nicht richtig durch. Vier Personen hatten am nächsten Tag Durchfall. Salat war lieblos zusammengestellt. Hierher komme ich nie wieder!

Essen und Preise soweit gut. Essen kam schnell. Um 16 Uhr gab es trotzdem nur die Mittagskarte. Keine Kartenzahlung. Daher nur die drei Sterne. Geht gar nicht heutzutage.

Seit langen nicht mehr so ein guten Gyros gegessen. Sehr lecker 😋. Familienbetrieb in einer Kleingartenkolonie. Akzeptieren keine Kartenzahlung. Trotzdem würde ich sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Einfach nur empfehlenswert, sehr nett, essen spitze

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier essen und werden gerne wieder kommen. Der Chefsalat hat geschmacklich meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Der Saloniki-Teller wurde anstelle von Lammsteak mit Schweinesteak bestellt und auch hier hat das Essen einfach nur begeistert. Das Ambiente ist außen sehr entspannt und drinne wirkt es sehr edel. Es gibt einen großen Parkplatz für Autos direkt am Restaurant sowie einen großen Fahrradstellplatz. Das Restaurant ist etwas abgelegener und somit bekommt man beim Essen nichts von der Straße mit.

Wir haben um 18.30 dort gegessen, bis die ersten Getränke da waren sind 20 Minuten vergangen, der Laden war nicht sonderlich gefüllt. Das Essen kam etwa weitere 20 Minuten nach den Getränken. Die Spieße waren in Ordnung, nichts besonderes. Aber das Rumpsteak war anstatt eines Medium-Rares, ein Medium-Done und die Jägersoße zum Schnitzel war ungenießbar, sodass meine Begleitung sich fast übergeben musste und andauernd husstete. Salate sind ebenfalls nicht zu empfehlen, sie sind geschmacklos und wenn sie Geschmack haben leicht bitter. Das Setting an sich ist schön, neben der Kleingartenanlage, meine Familie selbst hat dort seit über 50 Jahren einen Garten, der ehemalige Grieche war auf jeden fall besser als die jetzigen Betreiber. Die Zutaten scheinen aus dem nächstgelegenen Aldi zu kommen. Ambiente und location sind top, aber an Service und Qualität mangelt es.

Wir waren eigentlich immer regelmäßig und gerne im Athen.Das Essen sowie der Service waren immer in Ordnung…. Nur leider mussten wir bei unserem letzten Besuch feststellen dass dies so nicht mehr der Fall ist . Der Service war schlecht und unfreundlich. Das Essen nicht mehr so schmackhaft. Wir gehen nicht mehr hin.

Wir waren am Pfingstsonntag zum Abendessen da. Drei Personen. Wir haben die Spargel-Spezialitäten bestellt, eine davon ein sehr saftiges und leckeres Rumpsteak, das beste meines Lebens soweit, und das zweite, sehr leckere und gut gegrillte Schweinemedaillons. Der dritte Teller war ein Gyrosteller. Kurz vorher sind die Vorspeisen gekommen, und vor allem ein Htipiti-Käsesalat, der sehr intensives Umami-Gefühl im Mund gebracht hat. Und das alles mit sehr netter und freundlicher Bedienung. Ich könnte noch viel mehr beschreiben, aber am Liebsten mache ich das nicht, weil ich wieder sehr arg hungrig werde. Auf jeden Fall, ich selber als Gastronom, würde das Restaurant empfehlen. Ich bedanke mich für das leckere Essen und wir sehen uns auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Essen war okay aber geschmacklich kein Highlight, der Beilagensalat sehr untypisch für ein griechisches Restaurant (Couscous ist eher orientalisch, keine Olive, keine Peperoni, kein Tzatziki und sehr neutrales Dressing). Sehr ärgerlich war jedoch, dass es nur eine kleine reduzierte Karte gab und dies bei der Reservierung nicht mitgeteilt wurde.

Sind aus der Not heraus hier gelandet, sind echt überrascht gewesen. Zwar wegen eines Festes in der Nähe nur eine gekürzte Speisekarte. Essen war aber echt sehr gut im Geschmack und frisch dazu. Auch das Gyros war sehr lecker und gar nicht trocken wie wir es oft von anderen Griechen gewohnt waren und daher normalerweise nicht bestellen. Die Preise passen auch noch, was will der Gast mehr?

We were excited about this space when we arrived. We were looking forward to changing it up from the German meals we’d been having on our travels and the outdoor patio was so inviting. The man who greeted us wasn’t super friendly and it turned out he didn’t speak any English. We made it through, our food took quite some time and was okay, but when paying at the end of our meal he didn’t offer me the change I was due from my 50 euro. He acted like he didn’t understand me when I waited for the change and wandered off without doing so. The overall experience wasn’t what we’d hoped, mostly due to the less than friendly staff.

Quite big place, and still almost completely full on Sunday afternoon. Meat (Athens Teller) was great and more than enough, plus it comes with separate plates of salad (regarding the size, on a second thought ultra-wide objective photos do not give a proper justice to the actual size of the plate). They had some problems with making Greek coffee, but quickly offered an alternative, and even brought an extra Greek mocca for free once they could fix the problem; that was a really nice gesture.

2 mal Lammkottlet --> 2 mal komplett Durchfall umittelbar danach..... dafür ca. 80 € gezahlt. Und ein Getränk zuviel auf der Rechnung.

Schöne Lage, hübsch hergerichtet. Super freundliches und tolles Personal. Leckeres Essen und super Preis-Leistung.

Endlich haben wir es mal geschafft, vorbei zu kommen. Bestellt hatten wir schon. Das Essen ist super lecker. Wer gegrilltes liebt, ist hier richtig. Es war nicht zu voll und wir konnten uns mit der Chefin und dem Team unterhalten. Sehr nette Leute. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!
