Ein typisch griechisches Restaurant mit einer großen Auswahl an Gerichten und Getränken. Das Essen ist ziemlich lecker und der Service ist ausgezeichnet und sehr höflich. Es gibt auch reservierte Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage direkt unter dem Restaurant. Aufjedenfall Empfehlenswert.

The food is very, very tasty, but UNFORTUNATELY it has become a bit expensive. The service was also better - it's the certain "little things" that have changed in this regard. Actually it should be the other way around - if more expensive, then better or at least consistent service...

The ambience is nostalgic, like original from the 80s. The waiter friendly. I expected more from the food as the menu seemed very extensive and attractive. The anchovies weren't fried crispy, just dry. Maybe they were fried. A single bell pepper ring is a careless decoration. The tomato rice is pathy and watery. The small salad with mediocre standard dressing. You could have at least put herbs and spices in it. The cream/paste was delicious. The points deduction mainly applies to this fact, as you are only informed when you receive the bill...hehe... (stupidly) grinning; cash payments only. No notice beforehand, neither on the door nor verbally. ABSOLUTE NO-GO! It's a shame about the actually nice restaurant that doesn't make any effort for food. Therefore unfortunately not recommended.

Very tasty Greek food. There is great new furniture outside and it is also very cozy inside. The food was hot and the portions were large. Plus, the owner is super nice! :) We recommend!

For a dish for 25 € you should expect more... Gyros fart dry tomato rice stretched to the point that is no longer possible and the taste is not good either You won't see me here anymore.

Eating there with my friends, I thought it was very tasty at the beginning but unfortunately we weren't happy with the food. I can't recommend it

We ate there today, the restaurant was well attended. But I had to wait about 40 minutes for the drinks alone. Food completely overpriced. I ate a supposed pork fillet with cheese sauce for €20. 5 fries and the meat with the sauce. It was simply inedible, totally over salted and couldn't be eaten. I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. Will not recommend it to anyone!

Had dinner there on New Year's Eve. Place is clean. Food and service a complete disaster. We ordered food and drinks. Only after 1 hour were both placed on the table at the same time. The meal, which cost €20, was totally oversalted and carelessly prepared. Map looks different online than it does on site. The service couldn't keep up with the amount of people. I don't recommend this restaurant.

Open on New Year's Day is special... the atmosphere is Greek from the 80s and 90s... the service is friendly... What leads to the deduction is that the beer from the tap is served two fingers too little... you can see when the foam has collapsed... A pity...

Very good delicious food. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. We've eaten here several times now and it's always excellent. I can only recommend everyone to eat here.

Good Greek restaurant with a large selection of dishes. We've been there several times. Parking in the garage in the evening was always easy and convenient. Unfortunately, it wasn't that busy on weekdays; only 5-7 of the many tables were occupied. We will definitely come here again.

Gyros with pita highly recommended, soft, delicious pita and good gyros. Rice tastes different than usual, and maybe a little underseasoned, but otherwise good. Prices are okay so far, in the end it was a successful evening

I can only recommend the Poseidon on Rohrbacher Str. in Heidelberg. Everything is very tasty 😋 But the prices have gone up and you should perhaps turn the price screw up a bit. Do you really have to increase the price of everything? Otherwise there is nothing negative. Service is really exemplary, many other restaurateurs can learn a lesson from it. We'd love to come back.

The food had nothing to do with what the menu promised

Man darf sich von der etwas altbacken wirkenden Einrichtung nicht abschrecken lassen, denn das Essen ist aus meiner Sicht lecker, frisch und gut gemacht. Hier gibt es die üblichen griechischen Gerichte, die man von so einem Restaurant auch erwartet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, auf Essen und Getränke muss man nicht lange warten. Die Preise sind in Ordnung, von Gefühl her zuletzt aber ein bisschen gestiegen. Aber gut, alles ist zuletzt etwas teurer geworden. Das überbackene Gyros finde ich super gut, aber auch die Lammkoteletts sowie auch die Haxe und verschiedenen Fleisch-Pfannengerichte sind besonders zu empfehlen!

Poseidon is the best place in Heidelberg for authentic Greek food. After 20+ trips all over the Greek mainland and the islands, I know good Greek food when I have it, and Poseidon has it! It is also the perfect place for a small group birthday party, New Year's Eve celebration or other special occasions because the atmosphere is so cozy and just very intimate. The seating is spread out nicely, so that you have a little privacy and are not crammed up against other people. They also have a super friendly staff, and the decoration and background music is tasteful. Combined with the outstanding food, we always have a good time there.

Parken kann man in der Tiefgarage. Langes warten bis man Bestellen kann , essen wir soweit in Ordnung wenn auch kleine Portionen

Originale Küche wie bei der Mutter von meinem griechischen Freund. Sehr lecker,sehr gemütlich, sehr netter Chef und Sohn. Komme auf jeden Fall wieder😊

Das Essen, Service und Ambiente waren super. Die Speisekarte bietet außergewöhnlich viel Auswahl. Selbst am Samstag Abend bekommt man einen Tisch ohne Reservierung. Allerdings ist keine Kartenzahlung möglich, darauf wird leider nicht vom Service hingewiesen.

War am Wochenende Griechisch essen gegangen, Bedienung war sehr nett,(Chef persönlich). Restaurant ist typisch griechisch eingerichtet , nur mir ein bisschen zu dunkel, das Essen war sehr gut .

Absolut empfehlenswert sind die gebratenen Auberginen und die Auberginen Creme!! Auch die Hauptspeisen sind immer lecker, hier haben wir fast alles schon probiert. Unser liebstes griechisches Restaurant in der ganze Gegend!!

Das Ambiente erinnert doch stark an die achtziger und neunziger Jahre. Was aber gar nicht schlimm ist. Es ist dennoch sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Service war okay. Das Essen leider nur mittelmäßig . Sowohl das Fleisch, als auch die Meeresfrüchte waren bestenfalls mittelmäßig. Normalerweise kommt das Beste ja zum Schluss. Was in diesem Fall leider nicht zutraf. Als ich zahlen wollte, sagte der Chef, dass keine Kartenzahlung möglich sei. Und nur Bargeld akzeptiert wird. Hierzu gab es weder einen Hinweis am Eingang des Restaurants noch wurde bei der Bestellung darauf hingewiesen. So kam ich mir fast wie ein Zechpreller vor und musste sehen wie ich Bargeld organisiere. Den Gästen am Nebentisch ging es übrigens genauso. Ein absolutes no go !!!!!

Vielseitig und mega lecker. Wir sind seit langem mal wieder da gewesen und finden es noch leckerer als vor 2 Jahren :-) und deshalb jetzt wieder öfter.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, rustikale Einrichtung, richtig gemütlich und das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich :) Parkplätze sind neben dran in der Tiefgarage.

Für uns eindeutig der leckerste Grieche in Heidelberg. Preis-Leistung ist absolut stimmig und auch auf Sonderwünsche (zb vegetarisch) wird eingegangen.

As soon as I entered Poseidon I was entranced. It has a lovely layout, with cozy nooks, and areas with multiple tables so large groups can carouse, ceilings low enough to be comforting and high enough to feel spacious. The decor is eclectic and inviting. The menu is almost exclusively Greek cuisine (with some concessions to German and tourist tastes). The service is first-rate: I don't know if the owner does everything himself, but he seems to, and shows friendliness to all the customers. I never had a problem getting attention, and every wish was promptly granted. I haven't tried many dishes; the moussaka I had was a bit too crisp for my liking, though the taste was fine (if a bit salty). The overall impression I got, though, was that this is a place I'm happy and willing to try many times.
