Very good food. Unfortunately too far away to just go there.

The food was super good. The salad and venigrette were fresh and delicious. Fresh rosemary and red onions enhanced the flavor of the meat. We can only recommend this restaurant in a quiet courtyard atmosphere with a glass of wine. Price/performance match.

I recently dined at Gaststätte Knossos in Heidelberg, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. At the beginning I was impressed. The service was very friendly, we were also given good advice about the daily menu and the normal menu. After we ate, the tide changed. The service got worse and worse. We ordered a wine but it was forgotten. After a while the waiter came and we changed our order. One wine, one wheat beer and two ouzos. Everything was brought, only this time the ouzos were forgotten. In the meantime, my desire to follow up also diminished. After our glasses had been empty for 15 minutes and neither of the two waiters had shown any interest in serving us drinks again, we asked for the bill. We then received half a glass of poured ouzo for free. It's a shame that this service drags down the rating, but I can only rate the food positively, the rest is poor.

A real insider tip!! The restaurant is somewhat hidden in a courtyard. There is a sufficiently large beer garden here where you don't hear too much street noise. We were welcomed and served in a very friendly and courteous manner. This small but beautiful restaurant offers a good selection of delicious food and drinks at a pleasant price-performance ratio. Everything is very clean and tidy. Also the toilets. You can definitely get to the toilet with a walker. I can only recommend this restaurant!!! Who e.g. For example, if you come to the Body Worlds exhibition, you should then walk 50 m further to the Knossos restaurant! It's definitely worth it! I wish the operator/staff always have many guests! You deserve it... 😉

A very bad restaurant, the food was terribly bad. The restaurant isn't Greek either - it just keeps the name. It has absolutely nothing to do with Greek cuisine... I don't understand the good reviews and I definitely can't recommend it. Just a shame!!!

Ich kann dieses lockal oder Restaurant nicht empfehlen. Das Essen war unterirdisch und hat überhaupt nichts mit griechischer Küche zu tun. Es ist eine Schande es ist auch kein griechisches Restaurant es hat nur ein griechischen Namen warum auch immer? Eine Enttäuschung sehr schlechte Küche. Nie wieder. Der Name des Restaurants täuscht wäre gut den Name zu ändern. Einfach Finger weg...

The portions seemed a bit small at first - but in the end they were just right! The meat platter wasn't as overwhelming as many others. But very tasty! Absolutely delicious dishes, friendly and funny staff. Great dessert. Prices were ok.

We spontaneously ate there. We got a place straight away. The service was really exceptionally attentive and very friendly. As soon as something went empty you were noticed and helped. The food itself was really good. The portions aren't the biggest, but you'll be full and the food is really tasty. As usual for a Greek restaurant, you can pay for a delicious ouzo.

.... wir dort sehr oft gewesen, es war einfach einzigartig, leider ist es uns entgangen, das der Besitzer gewechselt hat. Habe wie immer telefonisch vorbestellt, Tisch für 2 Personen. Kurze Zeit später angekommen, Tisch mitten im Raum, es war bereits 20.30 Uhr und auch ziemlich leer. Wir haben gefragt ob wir an einen Tisch am Fenster wechseln könnten, doch leider wurde das verneint, da man da 4 Personen sein müsste, verstehe zwar den Sinn nicht, da wie geschrieben das Lokal 3/4 leer war. Es kam die Vorspeise und der Salat, wir hatten überhaupt keinen Platz mehr auf dem Tisch und mussten unsere Getränke an den Nebentisch auch ein 2 er Tisch stellen, Im Rücken von meinem Mann ständig der Keller vorbeigedrückt, da es der Ausgang von der Bar war. Okay soweit gut, die Vorspeise war sehr lecker und so sahen wir dem Essen positiv entgegen. Ich hatte eine gemischte Platte, das Fleisch war überhaupt nicht gut, da man über das Rumpsteak und dem Hähnchensteak bestimmt mit einem LKW drübergefahren ist, weil so dünn kann man das nicht schneiden, mit Steak hatte es nichts mehr zu tun, einfach wie eine Schuhsohle. Geschmacklich einfach und doch geschmacklos ebenfalls bei meinem Mann. Wirklich sehr schade. Wir werden niemals mehr wieder kommen und ich glaube anderen ging es vor uns auch schon so, deswegen war es sooooo leer, denn so hatten wir es noch nie gesehen, mit so wenig Leuten. Sehr schade. Zwei Sterne Bewertung, da die Vorspeise und Salat gut war.

.... we have been there many times, it was simply unique, unfortunately we missed the fact that the owner has changed. As always, I pre-ordered by phone, table for 2 people. Arrived a short time later, table in the middle of the room, it was already 8.30 p.m. and pretty empty. We asked if we could move to a table by the window, but unfortunately we said no because there would have to be 4 people there, but I don't understand the point since, as written, the restaurant was 3/4 empty. The starter and the salad arrived, we had no space at all on the table and had to put our drinks on the next table, also a table for two, with my husband constantly pushing past the cellar as it was the exit from the bar. Okay, so far good, the starter was very tasty and so we were positive about the meal. I had a mixed platter, the meat wasn't good at all, because a truck had definitely driven over the rump steak and the chicken steak because you couldn't cut it that thin, it had nothing to do with steak, just like the sole of a shoe . Simple in taste and yet tasteless for my husband too. Really a shame. We will never come back and I think others felt the same way before us, which is why it was sooooo empty, because we had never seen it like that before, with so few people. Very unfortunate.

Positive: - delicious food at a good price - attentive service - Ambiance is minimalist Greek Negative: - Greek is broadly defined here (a bit like the motto sounds Greek and is delicious then it is Greek) - unfortunately the waiter didn't bother with the name of the dishes. (But is otherwise very attentive...too attentive?) - Too many little things disrupt the picture, such as chargers in thick, surface-mounted sockets Conclusion: if you really want to eat Greek, this is not the right place for you. But if you want delicious Greek-style food at a good price, you'll find exactly that here.

We have reserved a table for 6 people. Parking is a bit difficult to find on Saturday evening, but if you're looking you'll find it. Very warm welcome. Service was very professional, quick and very warm from start to finish. The ambience is very nice. Seats are comfortable and cozy. The food was very tasty. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures because I was so hungry🤤😁.

So delicious - simply a complete success. Starter great, main course great (garlic rules the world, dessert great. Wine recommendations can be refreshed. But all around A1!

The food was ok, but nothing more. The ambience was also only in the lower standard range. What we couldn't understand is why all the couples were packed at these small tables even though not a single large table was occupied. As a precautionary measure, everyone had reserved signs, I can totally understand that some tables are blocked for regular customers on the weekend, but not all of them during the week!!! Not a single one was occupied in two hours. But the couples had no space to neatly place the salads, including the dish and drinks, and then eat. So the overall package of food, ambience and service didn't convince us.

For the past 4 years I have been coming here regularly on business trips about every 2-4 months. Even if I come alone, I am always greeted warmly and the food is always delicious! I haven't tried fish yet but with a few exceptions the meat is always juicy and heartburn the garlic potatoes with tzatziki are great!

Knossos is my absolute favorite restaurant. The conditions are always very friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent, there is nothing more to say about it. My favorite is the lamb skewer with rice. The atmosphere is modern and very chic.

Angenehmes, gemütliches Restaurant mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Etwas schwierig zu finden, da in einem Wohnblockinnenhof. Das Essen war reichlich und gut.

Wer ein gutes Bier möchte ist mit einem Augustiner Hell hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Eventuell ist das einzige griechische in diesem Lokal der Metaxa und Ouzo. Wenn das die Besitzer lesen macht mal eine griechische Karte. Danke

Mit Abstand bestes griechisches Restaurant in HD. Top Qualität in allem, besonders Fleischgerichte, es wird fast alles über die Holzkohle zubereitet, was heute eher eine Seltenheit ist.

Super netter Service, Familiengeführtes Lokal mit authentischer griechischer Küche, es wird dort noch mit liebe zu Lebensmitteln gekocht.

In unserem Urlaub hier in Heidelberg wollten wir gerne mal wieder Griechisch essen gehen. Und durch die Rezensionen fiel unsere Wahl auf dieses Restaurant. Die Reservierung des Tisches war, dank der freundlichen Mitarbeiterin mit einem kurzen Anruf problemlos gemacht. Das Restaurant befindet sich umschlungen mehrerer Wohnblocks welches uns auf Anhieb leider nicht so gut gefallen hat, doch das Ambiente innerhalb des Restaurants war wirklich goldig. Die Servicekräfte waren bis zur Zahlung der Rechnung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, was uns wirklich gut gefallen hat. Da es hier leider keinen klassischen Gyrosteller gibt, haben wir uns jeweils für einen Grillteller entschieden. Der "vorab" Salat war sehr sehr lecker und von der Portion auf perfekt gewesen. Die "Pommes" oder Kartoffelchips waren wirklich sau gut! Bei dem Fleisch waren wir leider maßlos enttäuscht. Sehr kleine, dünne Scheiben welche leider viel zu lange gebraten wurden. Ein klassisches Zaziki gab es dazu leider auch nicht. Eher eine Knoblauch- Kräutercreme welche geschmacklich jetzt nicht schlecht war, wir uns aber mehr auf ein klassisches Zaziki gefreut haben. Was unseren Besuch leider abschließend sehr trübte war der Bezahlvorgang. Als wir gerne mit Karte zahlen wollten haben wir das Gefühl gehabt, dass sich die Stimmung der Kellnerin schlagartig änderte. Bei dem daraufhin ausbleibenden Trinkgeld wurde uns noch halbherzig ein Uzo angeboten und wir verließen das Restaurant mit gemischten Gefühlen.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit sehr sehr freundlichem Service. Das Essen war sehr gut und kam auch sehr schnell an den Platz. Das Restaurant ist schön gemütlich eingerichtet und hat seinen ganz eigenen Charme. Kann ich jedem empfehlen der bei gemütlicher Atmosphäre gutes griechisches Essen genießen möchte.

Wir waren mit 4 Personen zu Gast. Das Fleisch war bei dem Grillteller teilweise zäh, zudem fehlte erheblich Metaxa Soße bei zwei Metaxa Soßen Gerichten. Wir fanden es auch etwas schade, dass es keine klassischen griechischen Gyrosteller auf der Karte gab. Das Essen war okay, haben wir aber auch schon wesentlich besser gegessen. Als Gruppe von 4 Personen waren wir in Summe leider etwas enttäuscht….

Hier kann man sehr lecker essen. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Das Essen und die Preise waren okay, bis auf den Tintenfisch, der war zäh und ungenießbar. Mindestens genauso ungenießbar war die Servicekraft (scheinbar die Frau des Küchenchefs), die nun schon das zweite Mal absolut unfreundlich, schlecht gelaunt und ungastlich bedient hat. Z.B hat sie uns nahegelegt - wir saßen noch nicht einmal - dass wir doch bitte sofort von der Karte bestellen sollten, damit die anderen Gäste, die danach kämen, dann Platz haben und damit die Küche es leichter hat. So etwas hatte ich auch noch nicht erlebt und das sollte in der Gastronomie ein absolutes No-Go sein. Den auf der Speisekarte angegebenen Lammschmortopf (den man zwei Tage im Voraus vorbestellen muss/kann, was ich auch versucht hatte) "gäbe es nicht und eine Vorbestellung sei nicht möglich". Wieso steht der dann so plakativ auf der Karte? Wir kommen jedenfalls kein drittes Mal - Parakaló.

Wir waren im Knossos wg der guten Bewertungen, seitdem muss sich allerdings einiges verändern haben. Das Pita war gut, aber die Hauptspeisen waren sehr klein und geschmacklich würde ich sagen “okay“ Das Personal schien nicht so viel Lust zu haben. Die Terrasse könnte auch einen Feinschliff vertragen.

Also dieser Grieche ist wirklich super und so lecker. Die Bedienungen sind super freundlich. Das Essen war total gut sei es die Vorspeise oder der Hauptgang. Alle am Tischen waren soooo zufrieden. Wir hatten sowohl vegetarische (Vorspeise) als auch Fisch und Fleisch Gerichte (Hauptgang) und jedem hat alles geschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne und auf jedenfall wieder ☺️
