A great Spanish restaurant with excellent service and a wonderful ambience! The fajitas and enchiladas were incredibly tasty, the meat tender and perfectly cooked. The highlight was a delicious greeting from the kitchen: Mousse de Chocolate. A real insider tip for everyone who loves Spanish cuisine!

It's a nice place with lots of food and cocktails. We had different main courses and were unanimous in our opinion that it tasted okay but wasn't particularly good. The cocktails were good. The service was polite but sometimes a bit cold. You can definitely have a good evening there, but you shouldn't expect the best.

Landed here by chance. There were four of us and we were thrilled with the food and service. The only annoying thing is other guests who think they have to entertain the entire store with their conversation volume.

Overall good, well seasoned food. Suppe a la scampi was tasty, but it didn't taste like seafood or fishsoup. The dominant taste was that of vegetables. Al-Mundo grill was composed of different meat and vegetables and made rich flavour and a big portion that was a pleasure to eat. Service was attentive and prompt. They accepted a credit card with a possibility/wish to add a tip.

We had the pleasure of dining at Al Mundo Restaurant yesterday and it was an excellent experience. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we felt very welcome. The menu offers a diverse selection to appeal to all palates, and every dish we tried was delicious and perfectly prepared. Mezzes are a must. What was particularly impressive was the friendly and attentive service, which made our evening particularly pleasant.

We once again enjoyed a birthday dinner with the family in a small circle... we were warmly greeted with a Prosecco and immediately felt welcome and at home... the food tasted fantastic and it was another successful evening thanks to the friendly and courteous service ... thank you very much... we would love to come back 🫶👍

We went there for dinner on a Monday evening without a reservation. The service was very attentive, but subtle and professional. The food (3 small starters and main course) tasted very good and was served nicely. Later in the evening, after attending a concert, we stopped in again for a goodnight drink. This time too we received extremely friendly service. The environment isn't great, but overall it's ok. Thank you very much, we will definitely come back. Addition: we were there a third time and once again we were very satisfied. Top friendly service and delicious food!

You've lived "around the corner" for almost 15 years and don't even notice this restaurant. Then comes the request that the family wants to try “something new” and experiences an evening full of surprises. The reception: friendly with a bit of Berlin charm that we love so much, plus a free table without having reserved. We like that and we immediately felt welcome. The map is extensive and offers many familiar faces from the Mediterranean, the Gulf of Mexico and the Orient. A combination that works very well - especially when boundaries disappear on the plate and you simply combine them. The restaurant already won my heart with the starter. The Pimientos de Patron are FINALLY mini peppers that are not overcooked and still taste like vegetables. The aioli with the patatas is so good because the garlic is noticeable, but it won't be a rollercoaster ride in your body for the next three days. We had aperitivos, which were all great: Prosecco-Aperol (what's the use of water in the drink), Hugo with plenty of elderberry and my new favorite: Rosato Tonic. Little surprise later in the evening: Even the apple spritzer is a work of art and comes lovingly arranged. Our main courses were enchiladas (vegetarian) and fajitas (surf & turf) as well as the announced cross-over (fajita meets oriental). We were thrilled! I would have liked to try the desserts, but I couldn't fit any more. We look forward to the next visits. A place to linger inside and outside with very relaxed service/catering and a more than strong recommendation from the whole family. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

As Berliners who have already gotten to know a variety of restaurants in the city, we happened upon this Mediterranean restaurant while taking a walk. We really liked the outside, especially the beautiful outdoor area, which immediately appealed to us. We spontaneously decided to stop in and didn't regret it at all. Ambience and Atmosphere: The restaurant exudes a touch of holiday with its charming Mediterranean ambience. The lovingly designed furnishings and cozy lighting create an inviting atmosphere that invites you to linger. The outdoor area is particularly beautiful and offers a perfect place to enjoy the warm evenings. Menu: The menu is diverse and offers an impressive selection of Mediterranean dishes. From tapas to fresh salads to hearty main courses – everyone will find something to their taste here. The tapas that we enjoyed at the beginning of our visit were particularly a highlight and left us wanting more. Eat: Our main course was a burger that completely impressed us. The meat was perfectly prepared, the ingredients were fresh and the taste was excellent. The other dishes that we saw at the neighboring tables also looked very appetizing and confirmed the positive impression of the kitchen. The salad was crisp and flavorful – a perfect complement to the tapas and burger. Service: Another highlight of the evening was the extremely friendly and attentive staff. The service was warm and courteous, making the visit a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We felt welcome and well looked after at all times. Conclusion: This Mediterranean restaurant is a true discovery in Berlin. The combination of a diverse menu, delicious food and outstanding service makes it a must-visit place. It was a very nice visit that we enjoyed to the fullest.

We celebrated a special occasion today with family from the south. What can you say: The food is really a dream, every dish is very cleverly prepared and the team is pure warmth. Big compliments to the kitchen, especially the Penne Shishtawuk and the "Sweet Goat" that blew us away! We're looking forward to next time. Thank you for the lovely evening!

Such a cozy and stylish restaurant! There is food for big and small appetites, for example mezze; These are starters that are reminiscent of Spanish tapas, soups, tortillas and burger menus, for vegetarians in a halloumi version. Everything was very tasty and recommended, including the homemade lemonades and cocktails; the fries were crispy and also homemade. And I haven't been treated as warmly and friendly as here in Berlin for a long time. Price-performance ratio is also right. What a great restaurant. There is everything from oriental to Italian to Mexican and every meal is a pleasure. We ate there with our company for a total of 3 days and pretty much got through everything. The people were So excited that they wanted to eat there for the fourth day. But what impressed me most was the staff and the friendliness on site. Something you don't find so often these days. Always attentive and responds to all requests. When we are back in Berlin, we will definitely come back

An incredibly beautiful place with a wonderful atmosphere. We've enjoyed going there for years. The restaurant is located on a quiet side street and you can sit outside wonderfully in the warm season. As soon as you arrive, you feel the inviting, cozy atmosphere of the place and the staff always lovingly ensure that you have a nice evening and feel welcome. The food is simply delicious, always particularly fresh and there is something on the menu for every taste. You can also have a wonderful vegetarian meal here. The delicious mezze and salads are also special. Thanks to the lovely staff & the boss for the beautiful atmosphere, which is simply really special and has made the restaurant a place of soul for us. Whether to celebrate or to wind down after a strenuous day.

A restaurant for a perfect evening!

I was in Berlin for work and had planned a dinner with business friends and then I came across this absolute pearl in Berlin and didn't regret it. Service, drinks, food and ambience were great. The food was varied, the price was absolutely OK and the team was great. They say Berlin is worth a trip, even more so with this restaurant. Highly Recommended!

My partner and I started making a habit out of coming here for dinner almost every week, and we've managed to go through almost the entire menu and I can vouch for each and every of the dishes so far. The waiters are really professional, the atmosphere is really cozy, the staff is welcoming and the food always leaves us full and happy, and all for really fair prices.

We ordered for 12 people. Since I had to park, I was the last to come in and didn't have a seat. But that would be solved ad hoc. After studying the menu, I was surprised because Google listed Al Mundo as a Spanish restaurant, which in retrospect turned out not to be a bad thing. The mezze starters were very tasty. Especially the patatas fritas con aioli. We also liked the piementos. We had both vegetarian and regular main courses. Everyone was very happy with the taste and presentation of the dishes. SUPER - RESTAURANT, all 6 meals ordered, including the starter soup (who ever got various side dishes with a soup on a separate plate?!!) and the dessert plate were well cooked - plus very friendly service.

Essen war super lecker, aber was ich besonders hervorheben möchte ist der Service. Man ist ein Berlin ja eher reduzierten Service gewohnt aber nicht hier.. so aufmerksam und wertschätzend hab ich das fast noch nie erlebt. Großes Lob dafür!

Ein stimmiges Gesamterlebnis mit 2 Freunden - ein gemütliches, indirekt beleuchtetes Restaurant in der Abendzeit. Immer echt aufmerksame, nie aufdringlich wirkende und zudem vom Wesen her freundliche Mitarbeiter die einem ein Essen kredenzen, das die Geschmackssinne vor Freude tanzen lässt. Unbeschreiblich gut. So geht Gaumenschmaus! WIR sind ganz sicher wieder bei Euch, um unsere Gaumen erneut zu kitzeln.

Das Essen im Al-Mundo ist vorzüglich. Wir hatten drei Vorspeisen, zwei Hauptspeisen. Wir wurden sehr gut bedient, das Essen war super, das Pils gut gezapft, alles sehr sauber, wir waren begeistert und kommen gern wieder.

Ich war mit ein paar Mädels gestern dort zum ersten Mal essen und es war einfach mega lecker und eine super freundliche Bedienung. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall nächstes Jahr wiederkommen.

Endlich habe ich es mal wieder geschafft, in meinem alten Kiez zu speisen, und zwar im Al Mundo! Leider war der Chef nicht da, aber alles war schön: Erst ein wunderbar zurechtgemachter Martini (siehe Foto), und dann ein Orient-Teller, lecker und reichlich. Es gibt eine schöne Auswahl an guten Weinen. Die ganze Idee und das Ambiente des Al Mundo gefällt mir! Komme wieder!

Sehr gemütliches südländisches Ambiente mit Berliner Flair: das Restaurant war gut gefüllt, es fühlte sich trotzdem an wie mit der Familie im Wohnzimmer. Hier trifft sich die Nachbarschaft, aber auch als Touristen wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist sehr vielfältig, wir konnten uns kaum entscheiden. Das Essen war frisch zubereitet, außergewöhnlich (karibisch) und sehr viel! Dazu wurde uns ein passender Wein empfohlen. Für die Kinder gab es zum Abschluss einen Mini-Cocktail. Die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und erfüllte all unsere Wünsche. Der Preis war angemessen. Nach einem Sightseeing-Tag genau der richtige Ausklang.

2019: Angenehme Atmosphäre, aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service sowie toll gewürzte Gerichte - was will man mehr, um einen wunderschönen Abend zu verbringen? Sehr zu empfehlen!!! UPDATE 2023: Es hat sich nichts geändert: super schmackhaftes und raffiniert gewürztes essen, aufmerksamer Service, angenehmes Ambiente - gerne beim nächsten Mal wieder!

Gleich 2 mal da gewesen, Die Enchiladas waren 1a und der Beilagensalat auch überragend gut, dazu 2 Saucen auch beide sehr gut. Beim zweiten Mal Den Al Mundo Teller gehabt, die Fleischsorten waren sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich gewürzt, Gebratenes Gemüse und Kartoffelspalten als Beilage auch Perfekt harmoniert. Vor dem Essen wurde frisches Brot mit Olivenöl serviert.

Unfassbar einfach, zufällig unter der Woche reingegangen. Spanisches Flair, gemütlich klein aber nicht zu klein. Essen echt heftig gut. Fajita de Pollo wirklich empfehlenswert. Viel Geschmack, gute Schärfe, auf den Punkt gebraten. Als Nachtisch ein Glas Don Papa Rum, was will man eigentlich mehr?

Mein Partner und ich waren im Juli zum ersten Mal in Berlin und haben dieses Restaurant für uns entdeckt. Eines Abends hatten wir Heißhunger auf was besonderes und sind schließlich auf dieses süße, aber feine Restaurant gestoßen, was natürlich aufgrund der Nähe zu unserem Hotel perfekt gepasst hat. Die Bedienung war einfach super, das Essen war FABELHAFT!!! vor allem die Lavendellimonade? Noch heute träumen wir hin und wieder von dem guten Essen, obwohl es schon einige Monate her ist ... wenn wir das nächste Mal in Berlin sind, werden wir diesem Restaurant auf jeden Fall wieder einen Besuch abstatten!!

Wir haben ohne große Erwartungen dieses Restaurant nach einem langen Messetag dieses Restaurant aufgesucht und waren wirklich begeistert! Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der Getränkeservice! Das erste Mal hatten wir das Gefühl, dass sich jemand Gedanken gemacht hat, wie man einer Flasche Wasser mehr Wertigkeit verleihen kann so dass man gerne Bereit ist den "Gastronomieaufschlag" zu bezahlen. Gleiches gilt für den Weißwein. Wir haben uns 1/2 Liter geteilt. Bekommen haben wir dann zwei schöne Weißweingläser die mit crushed Ice gefüllt waren, welches dann für den Kühler genutzt wurde. Also wunderbar kalter Weißwein - optimal angerichtet an einem warmen Spätsommerabend. Auch das Essen war hervorragend! Vorweg hatten wir drei Mezzen die eine gute Portionsgröße hatten. Zum Hauptgang gab es eine Mangosuppe die interessant und wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Der Orientteller war ebenso toll! Das Gemüse war auf den Punkt gegart so dass es noch knackig war, das Fleisch war ebenso gut gebraten. Kurzum tolles Essen in schönen Ambiente und untermalt von einem wirklich aufmerksamen und netten Service. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Wirklich sehr sympathischer Service und solide Küche. Die Karte ist international und bietet eine Auswahl für jeden Gast. Unbedingt sollte man die Mezze probieren und sich darauf einlassen nicht nur eine Mezze bestellen. Zu empfehlen sind die Spinatröllchen und der Hommus.

Wir wollten mal nicht italienisch, griechisch, chinesisch,...essen, sondern mal was Neues ausprobieren. Ein sehr gepflegtes und sauberes Restaurant erwartete uns, der Service einzigartig, nicht aufdringlich, aber immer da. Die Gläser wurden bevor sie an den Tisch gebracht wurden noch einmal poliert und es wurde immer wieder nachgeschenkt, wenn das Glas leer war. Das Essen selbst - mediterran und libanesisch - ist geschmackvoll angerichtet - das Auge ist bekanntlich mit - und war sehr sehr lecker. Mein Hähnchen Karibik sogar eine Geschmacksexplosion. Die Portionen sind reichlich, so dass bei uns kein Platz für Nachtisch blieb. Für uns war es ein toller Abend und wir werden definitiv wieder kommen.
