Red Pepper in München

Ein hervorragendes Restaurant in München. Wir waren drei Abende hintereinander dort, nicht nur wegen der Nähe zum Hotel, sondern auch wegen der hervorragenden Qualität. Victorias Service war exzellent! Alle Gerichte waren lecker und ansprechend angerichtet.

Wir haben hier zu fünft sehr gut gegessen.

Auf Dienstreise genieße ich immer wieder dieses Lokal. Super freundlicher Service, gute Qualität von Getränken und Speisen, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis toll. Habe erneut ein sehr schmackhaftes Gericht genossen: Texassteak pikant; ein paar Monate zuvor Surf & Turf und wiederum ein paar Monate zuvor Steak mit viel Gemüse, dass nicht "zerkocht" war. Ich bin begeistert und empfehle es daher gerne weiter.

Es war so lecker, dass die Portionen schnell aufgegessen waren. Bei uns gab es Burito und Kinderschnitzel. Die beiden Gerichte sind sehr zu empfehlen!

Update: Die Preise sind inzwischen kräftig angestiegen, ohne gleichbleibende Qualität. In letzter Zeit war hier nicht viel los, trotzdem wirkt das Personal überfordert. Bereits zwei Mal habe ich beim Abholen eine von innen angeschmorte Verpackung erhalten, das geht meiner Meinung nach gar nicht. Diesmal war das Schnitzel auch verbrannt. Es wirkt, als hätte sich das heiße Schnitzel in die Verpackung eingebrannt Beim letzten Mal war ich mir unsicher, ob die Verpackung nicht von außen angeschmort war, aber diesmal sieht man, dass das Loch wahrscheinlich von innen nach außen geschmort ist. Verbranntes Plastik möchte ich auf keinen Fall in/an meinem Essen dran haben. Ich finde, man kann sich zumindest die Mühe geben, den Kunden genießbares Essen anzubieten, was bei mir jetzt nicht der Fall war. Wir haben für ein Abendessen dieses Restaurant ausgewählt...es war eine nette Atmosphäre die Bedienung war nett und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt Preis/Leistung war vollkommen in Ordnung empfanden die Portion echt groß ...das Fleisch war zart!

Köstlich! Eine riesige Portion Spaghetti mit Riesengarnelen! Leicht scharf, superfrisch und einfach lecker. Süße, frische Garnelen! Und ein toller Cocktail! Schmeckt wie Saft und macht betrunken wie Wodka. Keine Fotos, weil ich so hungrig war und sofort angefangen habe zu essen. Freundlich und lecker!

Super lecker, freundlicher Service

Das Essen war lecker, aber dieses Restaurant ist überhaupt nicht mexikanisch. Es soll zwar traditionelle mexikanische Küche imitieren, aber die Quesadillas waren eingewickelt, die Burritos hingegen nicht. Müsste es nicht genau umgekehrt sein? Trotzdem war das Essen sehr lecker und die Portionen riesig. Das Personal war freundlich, aber das Restaurant wirkte etwas leblos und leer. Zugegeben, es war Sonntagabend mitten in der Karnevalszeit…

Hier stimmt einfach alles . Die Speisekarte ist mexikanisch und etwas italienisch orientiert. Völlig ausgehungert haben wir am späten Abend noch etwas zu Essen bekommen. Und es war herrlich ! Als Vegetarier gab es sogar mehrere Optionen . Die Portionsgrößen sind mehr als ausreichend und der Service war auch super . Schnell , freundlich und aufmerksam. Danke für den schönen Abend !

Essen ist gut, aber kein Highlight. Cocktail war lecker, Service freundlich.

In der Karte findet jeder was, aber Service nicht ganz so toll.

Leider hat die Qualität des Essens, im Vergleich zu den Vorjahren nachgelassen.

Schlechteste Service ever, sehr lange bzw. extrem lange Wartezeiten. Bitte spart euch diese Erfahrung! Gruppe 20 Personen, vom Gastgeber wurde vorher reserviert, die Gaststätte war nicht voll. Ich selbst war nur Gast, die Wahl des Restaurants lag nicht bei mir, denn die wäre anders ausgefallen. Die Getränke haben 1 Stunde gedauert bis jeder etwas hatte. Das Essen wurde nach 1 Stunde 15 Minuten aufgenommen. Das erste Essen kam nach 1:40 Minuten für den einen Teil vom Tisch, die letzte Person erhielt ihr Essen nach 2 Stunden. Essen unter Durchschnitt, es war ok mehr aber auch nicht. Sehr viel Convenience. Braucht man nicht nochmal.

Wollten am Abend noch etwas trinken aber dann:Keine Heißen Getränke ab 22:00 und außerdem viele Kaltgetränke waren auch nicht mehr da! Schade!

Das Essen ist durchschnittlich; es gibt alles von indischer über mexikanische bis hin zu europäischer Küche, aber nichts davon ist wirklich herausragend.

wirklich wirklich sehr gut. Ich habe einen Burger gegessen und habe anstandslos anstelle von Pommes Bratkartoffeln bekommen. Ich bin sehr kritisch bei Bratkartoffeln, die bekommt in Süddeutschland fast kein Restaurant nach meinem Geschmack hin. Ich liebe es dünn, cross und schön fettig. Hier war es geschmacklich einfach fantastisch :) Ich komme gerne wieder

The menu is quite broad, from pasta, schnitzel, burgers, and steak, but there's no clear focus. I had the burger, which was okay but not a highlight. It was sufficient for lunch; I wouldn't go there in the evening.

Sun and shade, excellent food (but please don't add frozen fries to that delicious burger... It's a sin). The bill was correct except for the water, I don't understand. 0.75 l... €6 and something :/

We were in the Schanigarten for lunch and felt completely at home. The service was very attentive and friendly. I had a schnitzel with a cornflake coating – a really large portion and a real highlight in terms of taste! The atmosphere was relaxed, perfect for an enjoyable lunch break. We'll definitely be back!

Friendly, helpful staff. I'm always so grateful when locals are willing and able to speak English and are tolerant and patient with us knuckleheads that don't speak German. And, the food was great, by the way.

Friendly waiter and a cosy place, I did not have high expectation for the fajita as the place did not come across as an authentic mexican spot, but I was pleasantly surprised, it was actually really good ! , prices are fair and you get excellent value for money

Delicious enchilada and very friendly service!

I was at Red Pepper recently – a nice little snack bar. The burgers were really tasty, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Nothing over the top, but solid quality. The staff was friendly and pretty quick, and you didn't have to wait long. Overall, a pleasant place for a quick bite. For an evening meal, I personally think it's a bit too unspectacular – it's missing that certain something. But for a lunch break or if you're nearby: absolutely fine.

We were there for lunch. The menu selection was somewhat limited. The food was okay, but unfortunately, it didn't blow me away. The steak was a bit lonely on the plate. The prices were quite reasonable, though.

Price/performance ratio is absolutely OK. Outdoor seating is also available in the summer. Service is quick and polite. We'll be back, see you soon.

We were here at lunchtime. I had the vegan gnocci with tomato sauce and found it really tasty. Only the passion fruit juice spritzer was far too watery, but the main thing is that the food tastes good :)

We've been at Red Pepper three evenings now. On the first two evenings just for cocktails, which are a dream. This is the most Pina Colada I've ever had. On the third evening we also had dinner together. All the dishes were delicious, the service was really nice and friendly and the small beer garden in front of the house was a great success. We would love to come back when we are back in Munich 😁

This was my third time there and there will be more times. I'm very satisfied and feel "at home" there alone with my dog, even if he's not a poodle 😉 I don't actually need a ticket: the bruschetta is so delicious! And the cappuccino was excellent.

Price/performance ratio is very good for cocktails and drinks.

They have happy hour in cocktails until 8 p.m. We ordered two cocktails around 6:30 p.m. and then a few light drinks, something to go with dinner, etc. But in the bill they included the normal price of the cocktail because we paid after 8 p.m. even though we paid before 8 p.m. have ordered. Then be careful!!...pay every order immediately, because you might not be in happy hour afterwards. Totally UNFAIR and they simply say that the bill is automated and the waiters can't do anything. Shameful...

Immer wieder gerne dort. Preis Leistung für Münchner Verhältnisse sehr gut. Und es gibt mexikanische Gerichte :-). Service und Ambiente passt auch.

As a group of 10, we easily got a table without a reservation during Oktoberfest. Very friendly service, quick service, low noise level. Oh yes, the food was also excellent: everything fresh, large portions and very, very tasty 😋

The food and beverage menus offer a quite large variety. We ordered turkey cutlet and grilled meat plate and they were both tasty. Portions are quite large and priced reasonably. We visited Red pepper on a Sunday afternoon and they were open till midnight which is another big plus. I will dine here again and recommend!

Nice restaurant for local people. If you visit München, you should try to visit this place. Some people blamed the quality of some food, but I recommend for Steaks. It was really reasonable and I never regret to have it. The mood and servers are so friendly. **They dont ask tips. Even if you pay with the card, there is no screen for tips. That's why I highly recommend this restaurant. At the old town, they ask you the tips even if you have a small 7euro self-served broth. l will be back for sure.

Good food at reasonable prices, fast, friendly service and a kitchen that sometimes caters to special requests.

A little dim but the menu is incredible along with the taste and the setup is amazing as well. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to try authentic German or just a simple comfort food.

The food was okay but could be improved significantly (gambas with vegetables and rice/enchiladas). Less sauce and more original flavor would be better. A service that takes ages to arrive when there is very little activity and doesn't really understand the menu/drinks menu doesn't inspire much confidence either. It's a shame, the place definitely has potential, but I'd rather forego it.

It was very tasty, the choice of food and drinks was good and the service was very pleasant. Definitely recommend. It is also located on a nice street where you can just sit outside and chat. The other perk that's rather rare: they have a relatively good list of non alcoholic cocktails and other drinks which is usually difficult to find in Munich.

The taste of the dishes could neither be described as good nor bad. Overall, too oily and too greasy, the taste of the individual ingredients can hardly be tasted, more of an all-pervasive uniform taste. You can sit outside in the shade, it's quiet and not stuffy.

The wrap is simply a worse version of McDonald's wrap. Descriptions from the menu sound good, but what you actually get is well. Cellars seem to be friendly, however.

We loved this place and their friendly staff so much, we went twice in one day. Once for food and the second time for dessert and drinks. It was great being able to sit outside and the food tasted good as well.

What a great restaurant experience! We recently enjoyed a delicious Cordon Bleu with crispy fries and a refreshing strawberry margarita here. The food was simply fantastic – perfectly prepared and incredibly tasty! We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere, although there were a lot of guests which resulted in a bit of a wait. But the wait was definitely worth it! Despite the hustle and bustle, the staff was extremely attentive and friendly. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good cuisine. The quality of the food and service definitely deserve five stars!
