A really good restaurant in the Westend! . Lunch menu and day menu varied and diverse. Great pasta and rice dishes! Price performance is still right here! That's why we go there weekly!

Didn't have a booking, but got a great table. Staff, food, beer, atmosphere, value all fantastic. My eyes were bigger than my belly. Highly recommended.

Price/performance ratio is very good for cocktails and drinks.

They have happy hour in cocktails until 8 p.m. We ordered two cocktails around 6:30 p.m. and then a few light drinks, something to go with dinner, etc. But in the bill they included the normal price of the cocktail because we paid after 8 p.m. even though we paid before 8 p.m. have ordered. Then be careful!!...pay every order immediately, because you might not be in happy hour afterwards. Totally UNFAIR and they simply say that the bill is automated and the waiters can't do anything. Shameful...

Immer wieder gerne dort. Preis Leistung für Münchner Verhältnisse sehr gut. Und es gibt mexikanische Gerichte :-). Service und Ambiente passt auch.

As a group of 10, we easily got a table without a reservation during Oktoberfest. Very friendly service, quick service, low noise level. Oh yes, the food was also excellent: everything fresh, large portions and very, very tasty 😋

The food and beverage menus offer a quite large variety. We ordered turkey cutlet and grilled meat plate and they were both tasty. Portions are quite large and priced reasonably. We visited Red pepper on a Sunday afternoon and they were open till midnight which is another big plus. I will dine here again and recommend!

Nice restaurant for local people. If you visit München, you should try to visit this place. Some people blamed the quality of some food, but I recommend for Steaks. It was really reasonable and I never regret to have it. The mood and servers are so friendly. **They dont ask tips. Even if you pay with the card, there is no screen for tips. That's why I highly recommend this restaurant. At the old town, they ask you the tips even if you have a small 7euro self-served broth. l will be back for sure.

A little dim but the menu is incredible along with the taste and the setup is amazing as well. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to try authentic German or just a simple comfort food.

The food was okay but could be improved significantly (gambas with vegetables and rice/enchiladas). Less sauce and more original flavor would be better. A service that takes ages to arrive when there is very little activity and doesn't really understand the menu/drinks menu doesn't inspire much confidence either. It's a shame, the place definitely has potential, but I'd rather forego it.

It was very tasty, the choice of food and drinks was good and the service was very pleasant. Definitely recommend. It is also located on a nice street where you can just sit outside and chat. The other perk that's rather rare: they have a relatively good list of non alcoholic cocktails and other drinks which is usually difficult to find in Munich.

The taste of the dishes could neither be described as good nor bad. Overall, too oily and too greasy, the taste of the individual ingredients can hardly be tasted, more of an all-pervasive uniform taste. You can sit outside in the shade, it's quiet and not stuffy.

Good food at a very fair price!

The wrap is simply a worse version of McDonald's wrap. Descriptions from the menu sound good, but what you actually get is well. Cellars seem to be friendly, however.

We loved this place and their friendly staff so much, we went twice in one day. Once for food and the second time for dessert and drinks. It was great being able to sit outside and the food tasted good as well.

What a great restaurant experience! We recently enjoyed a delicious Cordon Bleu with crispy fries and a refreshing strawberry margarita here. The food was simply fantastic – perfectly prepared and incredibly tasty! We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere, although there were a lot of guests which resulted in a bit of a wait. But the wait was definitely worth it! Despite the hustle and bustle, the staff was extremely attentive and friendly. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good cuisine. The quality of the food and service definitely deserve five stars!

Good food but service is extremely slow and inefficient.

We went there for dinner after work and were very satisfied. We were able to sit outside and ordered beef steak with hash browns and wraps. Plus a small side salad. We didn't have to wait long, even though the outside area was very busy. The food was very tasty, the price was absolutely acceptable and the service was also very friendly and attentive. Gladly again and a clear recommendation.

Everything is ok, very nice and quiet place

We visited the restaurant several times at the end of April. The staff was friendly, we had great food and a fantastic cocktail. It was non-alcoholic but something fantastic :) Very good value for money, I highly recommend it to anyone who goes there :) So,,, for everyone. Unfortunately no photo. :(

It was very nice there! Nice atmosphere outside and very modern inside. The prices are very good! Especially for Munich! The Mexican schnitzel is a nice change from what you usually get! Pleasant spiciness and I think the sour cream was also a bit spicy. :) I thought it was good!

Let's start with the decor - the restaurant does not resemble Mexico in terms of appearance, atmosphere or energy. A waiter who spoke very little German came to take our order, and he couldn't count on Spanish either. When the two of us wanted to order three different dishes, he asked not very gently if we were going to eat them alone since it was just the two of us. He asked several times what exactly we wanted, but didn't write anything down. After a while, the next waiter appeared and asked about our order again because the previous one didn't understand. The portions we got were large and the price for them was very good. Fresh lettuce with good dressing for each dish and mohito definitely deserve positive attention. That's it for the positives. In general, the food was good, two types of meat and the shrimp were prepared correctly, but if you want to eat Mexican food, you will definitely be disappointed. However, none of the three typical Mexican dishes tasted like them. Even the guacamole had a very strong onion flavor, but no tomatoes. If the restaurant had not focused on typical Mexican specialties, it would certainly have received a higher rating.

As always, a great evening with good food and delicious wine. The ambience is very good, you can have a conversation without shouting. An ideal meeting point for a nice evening with friends.

Rustic location with a delicious range of various delicacies. The prices for Munich are also moderate. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop by there again.

After waiting 50 minutes, they bring schnitzel instead of hamburger. I don't know how they managed to receive orders both late and wrong.

Als ich in diesem Restaurant eine Bestellung aufgegeben habe, erhielt ich etwas vollkommen anderes als das, was ich bestellt hatte. Der Kellner versuchte mich sogar gewaltsam zu überreden, das falsche Gericht zu essen. Die Wartezeit war viel zu lang, und ich bin äußerst unzufrieden mit dem Service. Ich werde nie wieder hierher gehen.

Immer leckeres Essen, sehr nette Bedienung.. Bei gutem Wetter auch Sitzmöglichkeit draußen.. gut besucht, aber es findet sich immer eine Sitzmöglichkeit.. Aufgrund der Lage ist die Parkmöglichkeit leider etwas schwierig, aber man findet immer eine Lücke Da geh ihr gerne hin 👍🏻

Excelente! Comida,rica, fresca y abundante! Red Pepper será para mi la mejor opción sin duda alguna!, tienen una carta internacional y la verdad la eh probado toda y todo está muy rico, la atención es excelente , una maravilla! La música hace el ambiente muy agradable! Lo recomiendo!

Been here afew times. The foods are really nice. Never had a bad meal. The workers are ALLWAYS friendly, and polite. a must try. Lots on offer.. and cocktails.....

Nice restaurant near S Bahn Donnersbergerbrücke with a huge menue, you can eat almost everything, from steak to good mexican food to vegetarian dishes, pasta, german dishes. It's unlikely that you'll leave this place hungry. 😁🤭 Drinks are tasty too, the prices are fair, and staff is relaxed, attentive and friendly. 😅😅

Sehr lecker Essen und Getränke 😊

Ich komme hungrig aus Berlin, war kurz noch im Münchener Büro und habe Hunger, als ich den Rezeptionisten vom Hotel gefragt habe: "Wo bekomme ich etwas zum essen?" War die Antwort: Red Pepper! Ich also nach dem Abwerfen von Koffer und Co zum Restaurant. Die erste Ernüchterung, "Warm" erst ab 17 Uhr, aber der freundliche Mensch an der Tür meinte, komm rein, dauert gerade zwar noch ein wenig aber die viertel Stunde geht auch vorbei (Ankunft 16:45Uhr). Also freundlich empfangen worden. Drinnen, zweite und letzte Ernüchterung, etwas einfach eingerichtet, vielleicht auch typisch für Restaurants in der Gegend? Keine Ahnung, jedenfalls einfach und mir Blindfisch etwas zu dunkel aber es reichte um Karte und Essen zu finden. Jetzt aber die beiden wesentlichen Punkte: Das Essen. Ich hatte Bruschetta, Steak mit Rahmsoße und Röstitaler und zum Nachtisch Apfelstrudel, dazu eine Cola. Mit Trinkgeld lag ich hier bei vierzig Euro, aber ich versuche immer zum nächsten Fünfer Schritt aufzurunden. Den Preis finde ich in Ordnung, auch wenn wir uns nächstes Jahr mit der erhöhten Mehrwertsteuer von dann wieder 19% umsehen werden. Also, Preis in Ordnung, Qualität? Ich finde es nahezu Perfekt. Alles war genauso, wie es beschrieben war und so wie mein Gehirn es sich entsprechend vorstellte. Ein halbes Zucken gibt es, es war mich, für meinen Hunger, zu heiß. Es war so frisch zubereitet, dass ich nicht Schlingen konnte. Ich musste langsam essen... Das zweite, der Service, und auch hier, neben dem freundlichen herein bitten auch innen alles sehr, sehr gut, schnell aber ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Schnell und perfekt freundlich. Danke dafür! Gerne komme ich wieder, wenn ich in München bin, dann aber mit etwas weniger gierigem Hunger....

Eins meiner Lieblingslokale, immer nette Bedienungen und lange warten muss man auch (fast) nie. Große Auswahl an verschiedenen Drinks und Speisen. Seit längerer Zeit gibt es leider keine Gerichte mit Schwein mehr, was vielen Gerichten den Geschmack nimmt - ausserdem sind die Plakate für sie Happy Hour der Cocktails weg, da möchte man dann natürlich weniger ausgeben. Das ist sehr schade. Sonst immer einen Besuch wert!

Hatte als Gericht das Grillgemüse in pikanter Paprikasoße (vegan). Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen, hat super geschmeckt und die Portionsgröße war ausreichend für mich. Ambiente ist sehr aufgeräumt mit schöner Begrünung in den Fensterbereichen. Ein paar Großflaschen von Spirituosen an der Bar im Eingangsbereich erwecken aber einen für mich unpassenden Eindruck einer Disco. Würde das Restaurant aktuell weiterempfehlen!

Servicio y ambiente muy bien, sin embargo la comida mexicana que ofrecen, no tiene absolutamente nada que ver con mexico. Pedimos un Burrito y unas enchiladas (foto adjunto).

The Red Pepper is surprisingly cheap, but the food explains why. The menu is way too big for the restaurant and they seem to support all kinds of international food (Mexican, US, German, Austrian). The service and the atmosphere were alright and everybody was nice, but the food was disappointing. The food tastes like warmed up industry food. I ordered a "Jägerschnitzel". What I got was a Schnitzel without crust and way too much sauce. The sauce was clearly warmed up and not cooked on the same day. Tasted like someone got it out of the freezer and heated it up or like really bad industry sauce powder that you just mix with warm water... If you are looking for a cheap restaurant in the near, because you work in the neighborhood, the restaurant is totally fine. If I visit the restaurant again, I would go for a hamburger or a steak instead. Maybe it's also just me and I simply ordered a dish that gets rarely ordered, but on the other hand: why putting it on the menu then? I would highly suggest to the restaurant owner to cut down the menu to 10 maximum 20 dishes. The cook will be thankful.

Hier kann man gut und bezahlbar essen. Der Service ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und wir waren noch nie unzufrieden mit den Speisen. Besonders bei schönem Wetter kann man draußen echtes Westend-Flair genießen. Die Auswahl ist gut, aber nicht ZU groß, was dafür spricht, dass es frische Zutaten gibt. Das schmeckt man auch!

Für München eher günstige Preise. Sowohl Essen wie Cocktails geschmacklich gut. Gibt auch ausreichend Tische an der ruhigen Seitenstraße
