Hotel Säntis in München

I had a very good stay because I had an exam nearby, so I was able to arrive the day before without any stress. I was able to check out an hour later for free and leave my car in the parking lot. The hotel staff were always exemplary, and the stay overall was very pleasant. The breakfast is rather small, but offers everything you need. The breakfast staff were also very friendly and attentive.

As a recurring customer, I made again a booking last week. I arrived around midnight w/o letting them know in advance. Arrived in the night, called the on-call service number...not serviced. Needed to find another hotel. Called them today for a goodwill solution, got nothing but stupid allegations to me... sorry guys that's not right. If you decide to keep my money, although not serviced, that's fine as the contract is saying that. But stay polite...Anyhow, you lost me as a recurring customer, for sure...

“A guest must have checked in in your name” I get this cheeky and stupid answer when something doesn’t work out in the coordination between HRS and the hotel! -It's quite loud on the corner, they can't help it but I don't have to anymore -The rooms are a bit old, but the price is okay. I still don't have to have it anymore.

Very very nice hotel, a little gem!!!! The rooms are small but very comfortable and clean, all equipped with TV and free wifi. The bathroom is also small but very clean. For your car there are many free parking spaces in the area. Breakfast offers a very rich and very satisfying variety with a lot of choice, especially savory ones. The staff was very friendly and helpful!!! I hope I'll be back soon.

The location of the hotel is perfect for us. Very friendly and competent staff, rooms clean and well equipped. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, we will definitely be back.

A delightful quiet hotel that was near my son’s place outside Munich, I highly recommend. Quiet, clean very nice rooms absolutely delicious breakfast not one negative word to say. 2 Thumbs Way up.

It‘s a good and decent hotel at a good location. Service was excellent, very friendly. Rooms are very small and clean. Breakfast was decent and more than enough.

This house was a really positive surprise! Because of the trade fair, I wasn't staying in one of the usual, modern 4-star hotels this weekend, but instead ended up in this rather small family business. My thoughts before arrival… “It’s only three days, it’ll be okay.” Today I'm leaving and I almost regret it a bit. I experienced incredibly good service here, consistently very attentive, helpful and authentically friendly and approachable staff and would therefore definitely like to recommend this gem to others! A highlight was actually the excellent quality breakfast! No discount goods, but everything fresh including incredibly delicious butcher's sausage. So… everything was wonderful all around! Thank you, dear team, for the really pleasant time with you!

We've stayed at this hotel several times now. Here, you can see that the guest is king. The staff is always friendly, whether at reception or breakfast service, and the cleaning staff deserves a special mention. We'd be happy to come back.

Was there 3 times. It was ok for the price range. Trash can in the bathroom was dented. During our last stay, two pizza boxes with dried-out pizza residue were found in the cupboard. It was after 8 p.m. and the reception was no longer manned. Complained the next morning. The reaction at reception was indifference: “the maid probably forgot”! What else has she forgotten???

Unfortunately my rating is very bad. On the one hand, the hotel does not offer enough parking spaces for its hotel guests. On the other hand, the rooms are very old and a lot of the paint on the doors in the hotel rooms themselves has chipped off. You also wait longer until the water actually gets warm. I also had a dog with me. As soon as you visit a hotel with a dog in other hotels - for a fee - you will usually be given a bowl or something similar in your room. I've also often received towels. When paying the costs for the cleaning because of the dog, you can encounter the unprofessional snorts of the lady at the reception who wants to make it clear to you in a customer-friendly manner that she obviously doesn't think it's a good thing. Anything but positive and unfortunately not a recommendation from me.

I checked into the hotel for 3 weeks, my wife was staying at the Großhadern Clinic for a major operation!! Very familiar, everyone was super nice, from the owners to the staff!! I felt like I was in good hands!! The breakfast... everything tippi toppi!! Thank you for that !! Only to be recommended!! Thank you 🙏

Since I was in Munich for one night, I chose Hotel Säntis as it was close to where I needed to be. We went straight to reception on Saturday evening and booked a room for one night without prior reservation. There was a small drawback, but this was offset by the positive aspects and therefore does not deserve a negative rating. The beds were separate, and since I wanted to sleep together with my wife, we pushed the beds together. Unfortunately, there was dirt under the bed, which could serve as a warning to the staff to take better care of this so as not to endanger the hotel's good reputation. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast had lots of delicious options and excellent coffee. Overall we had a good rest and the hotel is in a quiet area. I'll be happy to come back when I get the chance.

Rooms have been preserved in the "next house", a few hundred meters away from the actual hotel. No elevator, hallway not particularly well prepared, very small room, quite noisy/noisy (nearby street as well as pipes or similar from the house itself), bed/pillows ok. One day housekeeping apparently only removed the "please clean up" hanger and apparently did nothing else in the room. Instead of the card that is now common almost everywhere, there was a completely impractical key with a large metal pendant. The only really positive thing for me is the breakfast, especially the gentleman who took care of everything there - very attentive and totally personable.

Breakfast is ok, staff is ok. The mattress is a disaster.

small, nice hotel in Munich. The room isn't huge but it's sufficient. The tub with shower function is of course no longer that popular these days, but you can live with it. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about, everything was very clean, great breakfast with super nice service and all the staff were very friendly. Can be recommended.

We always enjoy coming to this hotel. Far from hip... but this hotel has its own charm, plus the incredible friendliness of the entire staff... we really enjoy it. A special thank you goes to Ms. Schwab who helped us out of a big misery... thanks again...

A wonderful hotel that was absolutely convincing in every respect (with a fantastic breakfast!). From there you can easily get to the Oktoberfest with the U6. Many thanks also to Fabian for the perfect advice.

I would come here again for a few days. The employees are all very friendly and accommodating. But the “waiter” at breakfast is him Top banger. A really cool guy. Stay as you are Hotel and rooms are super clean The connection to the center by subway is a 3-5 minute walk away.

Great for visiting the city. Spacious and clean room, with an excellent breakfast and close to the metro.

Clean rooms. Unfortunately a bit noisy from the street at night when the windows are open and too warm when the windows are closed. Nice and friendly staff. 5 - 10 minutes walk to the subway stop and then about 15 minutes to the city center

Very small room, without air conditioning and being on the street there is a lot of chaos... either you can't sleep due to the heat or the noise of the cars... the restaurant for what it offers is not cheap and the food is nothing special

Super large, clean business room, as well as the bathroom. Bus stop opposite and subway station a few minutes' walk away. Breakfast is sufficient, everything you need is there. Staff and boss very nice and helpful. Parking directly at the hotel. We will definitely stay at Säntis again next time we visit Munich.

The standard rooms are getting old. The beds were too hard for our taste. Plus points for the good breakfast and the good location.

Relatively small inn, which appears to have been renovated not long ago. The rooms are small and unfortunately not air-conditioned but the windows really filter out all street noise effectively. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is rich. WiFi had a few problems but the staff really tried to help.

Very nicely decorated and clean... Nice receptionist and quiet room at the back. I can't say what it's like if you have a room at the front facing the street. There is a restaurant downstairs where you can sit comfortably on the terrace. I felt very well.

We stayed at the Säntis Hotel for 3 nights as a bowling club. The rooms were clean and everything needed was there. The size of the rooms was completely sufficient. The breakfast was really good and the service was great. Everyone was always very friendly and helpful. The whole price-performance ratio was perfect. The connection to public transport was also perfect. There was a bus stop just a few steps away from the hotel and the nearest subway station was also within walking distance.

Nice cozy hotel. The room and bathroom were a pleasant size. Hotel's own free parking lot. There are two electric charging stations 50m from the hotel. Nice breakfast with excellent service. The selection of rolls could be better. Unfortunately the WiFi was broken but it will be repaired soon.

Great hotel. Location is really ideal, easy to reach by car or good public transport connection. There are also a lot of things within walking distance such as parks, restaurants, cafes, pharmacies, etc. Staff very nice, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Rooms are clean and tidy. Despite the fact that the room faced the street, this didn't bother us much. Parking space available behind the house

We only stayed here for one night. The request for two additional pillows when booking was ignored. Since we only got there around 10 p.m., the reception was already closed and so nothing was possible here. The key cards for the room and parking lot can be obtained from the restaurant next door after the reception closes. The room was cut at an angle and therefore the TV tended to get in the way when walking past. The bed was ok, but not good (a topper would help). I also assumed a double bed size 180x200, but that wasn't the case, there is only 160x200cm. What a shame! The free parking space at the back is an imposition. Super tight and if the hotel is busy there's no chance of being able to park there. Then you have to look for a place somewhere in the residential area, which is of course impossible. The breakfast was really delicious and there was a lot of choice.

Nice little hotel with friendly staff. Room facilities and size are absolutely good for a short stay. The bed was comfortable. The nearest public transport stops are just around the corner. The hotel offers free parking. The breakfast could have been a little more extensive.

The hotel is super clean, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast has a large selection of different cheeses, sausages and jams. Various muesli options, fresh fruit and fruit salad. Various types of bread and rolls. Juice, water coffee service. Simply feel good whether in the breakfast room or the room. I spent a week in this hotel and was very satisfied with the stay. The cleanliness of the room cannot be faulted and the peace and quiet is what a hotel is for. The friendly receptionist is very welcoming and very informative. The breakfast is very balanced and the nice man at the breakfast buffet is very friendly and even makes you a nice warm drink. A really nice start to the day. The buffet is always freshly baked and prepared and the jam is also homemade. I really recommend staying here. (Even if the situation is criticized, there are ambulances everywhere)

Worst hotel I've ever been in. The rooms weren't cleaned the whole week. When we arrived, the room wasn't cleaned either. There was dust, hair, etc... on the bed linen, on the floor, on the furniture. It is appropriate for a hotel to clean the rooms after each change of guests. The bathroom door didn't close properly and it was way too small. There was still hair in the shower and the toilet wasn't cleaned before I arrived. Overall this hotel deserves 0 stars.
