Preysinggarten for breakfast. The selection is very limited, with a bread basket, jam, scrambled eggs, muesli, and white sausage. The rather beautiful garden is filled with rhythmic, brass-heavy jazz. It's probably more of an evening spot.

We've lived in Haidhausen for many years, and the Preysinggarten is simply part of the neighborhood. You're always greeted very warmly, and it's especially great with children (there are books, something to color, and there's a playground next to the small beer garden, so it's really great with kids). A small, fine menu (including a children's menu) with Bavarian classics, Mediterranean dishes, and a changing daily special. There's something for everyone, and they also serve breakfast and cake. The prices are reasonable considering the quality and size of the dishes, and the taste is very good. When Costas (the owner) announced at the end of last year that he was going to retire, we thought it was a shame. But luckily, things turned out differently, and he and his team are continuing to run the Preysinggarten. We really enjoy coming here, whether for breakfast, dinner, or in the beer garden.

I regularly go to the Preysinggarten in Munich and can only say positive things about it. The atmosphere is incredibly warm – you immediately feel welcome. The owner is a very kind and attentive person who truly cares about his guests. The food is a delight every time: fresh, lovingly prepared, and delicious! I especially like that the restaurant is very family-friendly – children are just as welcome here as adults. The prices are also absolutely fair and, given the quality, completely justified. A place where you feel at home and that you'll enjoy visiting again and again. I highly recommend it!

I've known the Preysingarten since my school days, 30 years ago. I was there again recently: The ambiance in the garden was lovely and cozy, the service was prompt and friendly, and the food was impeccable—everything was excellent! I always enjoy coming back!

The garden/outdoor area is very nice, but in my opinion, the food isn't good value for money. It's tasty, but quite expensive. The breakfast selection could also be a bit larger. For example, a classic breakfast with cheese and ham would be good. However, the service was always attentive and very friendly.

We had a wonderful culinary experience at PreysingGarten 🥰! The food was delicious and served in generous portions. The staff was extremely kind, professional, and attentive throughout the evening. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, particularly suitable for families with children. The little ones were provided with coloring books and crayons, which kept them happily entertained. It's rare to find such attentive and family-friendly service. A matter of taste... we arrived for a business lunch with 9 people instead of 10, and whoosh... we were immediately denied a table and had to squeeze together. Sales > comfort - that's the way it is throughout. Of the 9 main courses, 2 arrived when the rest of the table was already finished. The service was at times attentive, but also somehow not really on the ball. We sat for 30 minutes with empty glasses and then decided to pay and forgo dessert, etc. (which is rather rare at a business lunch). The quality of the food was okay - but there was absolutely no positive vibe.

I've been coming here for many years, for an after-work beer or for dinner with the family. After a short break, I returned this week and am truly impressed. The service is fast and attentive, the food was delicious, the portions generous, and the atmosphere excellent. The penne was al dente with a fresh sauce. We also had a salad with perfectly cooked chicken breast strips. The children's portion of pasta was not only delicious for €6, but also quite generous. We had barely sat down when the waiter arrived. We were asked several times if everything was okay. And it was! The Augustiner half-liter was freshly poured, and the spritzer was perfect (not too watery, not too sweet). The prices aren't cheap, but unfortunately, they're identical to what you'd pay at comparable restaurants in Munich these days. We'll definitely be back!

A little gem that I've been missing in Munich for a long time. Admittedly, as a Menzinger, I don't get to the east very often anymore (thanks to Mr. Reiter and his Green clan) – but this trip is well rewarded: friendly service and good food at reasonable prices. The beer garden is also great after a stressful day at the trade fair.

The cappuccino was good, but the service was a bit lackluster. After the first round, no one came, and it took a while to pay. The atmosphere is quite good.

We had dinner at this small but lovely Bavarian beer garden on the Sunday before a trade fair. Really friendly service, a great place for a business lunch, and delicious Bavarian food at a great price. By the way, the trade fair was also a success.

A very small but nice beer garden in the middle of the city. The staff and service were really friendly and good. The price/performance ratio was good. I highly recommend this place. This won't be the last time we're here!

We were there in the evening. We actually wanted a snack, but we only got bread and olive oil. The bruschetta was excellent, though. It was very loud for conversation. A group was playing cards at the next table.

This was my first time at Preysinggarten. When we arrived, we were seated very quickly. The service was friendly and attentive, not overly intrusive. The salad had a well-seasoned dressing. I had the Kässpatzn, which, for my taste, could have been a bit more flavorful. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.

We ate outside, but no one was impressed with the food, but it was okay. I had the Thai curry, but unfortunately the vegetables were still very hard and lacked the flavor you'd expect from a stir-fry dish. The salads were good and the portions were large. Everyone was very pleasant, and the atmosphere was nice.

I happened upon this great restaurant in the neighborhood and decided to stop by. Great staff, super delicious food, 100% recommend!

I've been here often. Now the owner has changed. I ordered a Wiener Schnitzel. The food arrived within three minutes, not a good sign. It was horrible, completely flavorless. A brown, greasy mess; you couldn't see or taste the difference between the schnitzel and the fried potatoes. It was strangely bad, never again!

You used to be able to have a great breakfast here, but now they only serve three different omelets and a much too sweet fruit salad (with honey syrup poured over it without asking, which unfortunately makes the fruit salad unbearably sweet) with or without muesli or yogurt. The omelets were good, special requests were easily accommodated, and the ambiance was as nice as ever. Unfortunately, the place is no longer the true culinary insider tip for breakfast that it used to be. It's a shame.

Was today for the first time since the reopening. Bright and friendly as always, although it is irritating to watch the dishwasher at work through the always open kitchen door. Child friendly with plenty of toys for little ones and appropriate noise levels. Alone, when it comes to food, it's a clear step backwards. There is still a farmer's omelette for breakfast, but now without potatoes, but rather carelessly served with very ripe cheese without any garnish or side dish. After waiting and asking for over half an hour. The ripe cheese in the omelet could work if the salmi note of the cheese were offset with a few fresh, crunchy flavors. So even with the bread that had to be ordered separately, it wasn't much of a pleasure, especially because the bread was already noticeably dry around the edges and was obviously from the day before. The milk foam in the coffee was clearly overheated and not particularly creamy.

Yesterday evening it was a very, very successful visit to what was probably the friendliest inn in Munich. It's been a long time since we've been treated so kindly and in such a familiar way. Although the restaurant was extremely busy and there were no staff in the kitchen, there was no rush or stress in the dining room, just friendly faces and bright smiles. The inn itself is very comfortably furnished and invites you to linger. Our food was super tasty. We wish the Preysinggarten team all the best and love Thank you for the lovely evening with you

One of the few places open for Christmas Eve dinner on our family trip to Munich. So glad we encountered this restaurant and were able to make a reservation. From the moment we walked in, to the time we left, we experienced a warm welcome and exceptional service and hospitality. And of course, the food was delicious. Don’t think we could have picked a better, festive and homey place. Sincere thanks to the entire staff for hosting us during the holiday season and for their warmth.

Nice atmosphere.” > some months later: pasta with salmon > overcooked, greasy sauce, smelly fish; my friend took a pizza ai funghi > very standard, not even tasty. None of us finished our dishes.

Expensive, if at all mediocre restaurant. Dishes expensive and nothing special. Käsespätzle were definitely not homemade and were very, very expensive. Overall, I think it's too expensive to really enjoy it. The outdoor area is nice in the summer, it's also nice to sit inside and the advantage is that there is hot food all the time and the restaurant doesn't take a lunch break.

We celebrated our wedding here and the evening was better than we could have imagined. The entire communication and pre-planning was super accommodating and a lot of fun. The tables were beautifully set and prepared and the evening went smoothly. The whole team was very quick and incredibly friendly. At no time was anything missing from anyone. Thank you for the unforgettable time we were able to spend with you.

The Preysinggarten is an institution in what is probably the most beautiful corner of the city. This little gem is located in the middle of the French Quarter. It impresses with its warm and rustic ambience as well as first-class service. The breakfast is delicious, although the farmer's omelet with feta and tomato could have been a bit more sophisticated. We would be happy to come back at any time

Nice, cozy place to feel good. The food was delicious and fresh across the board. The "star deduction" is for the really unpleasant, "burnt" kitchen smell that settles throughout the restaurant and in the clothes. Otherwise, the restaurant can be highly recommended.

We celebrated our daughter's baptism in the Preysinggarten last week. It was a wonderful celebration from start to finish. Everyone was very welcoming and tried to make sure we had a wonderful day. The terrace, the table decorations, the food and the service were wonderful. We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful location for this occasion.

The restaurant is very comfortably furnished and invites you to linger. The prices are high, as is usual in Munich and the surrounding area. Unfortunately the cappuccino was very hot and the milk wasn't foamed well. For €4.90 for a café I expect a little more experience behind the bar and a corresponding café for the price. The taste of the café was ok, but unfortunately the preparation wasn't.

Restaurant whose interior is more reminiscent of a dining room. With the same acoustics: when it's full you can no longer understand your own words. Not suitable for conversations inside. The cheese spaetzle with salad was below average and totally overpriced at almost 18 euros. Service friendly. Overall poor price/performance ratio. Conclusion: Never again, unless you can sit outside in the garden and just want a drink.

It's a shame, this restaurant used to be a popular destination for family trips, where you could have dinner with the family in a cozy atmosphere - with the typical Munich garden flair. However, prices have now become prohibitive. 20 euros for pasta with sauce is simply a disgrace and hardly affordable for a family with two children. Unfortunately, the restaurant is now only aimed at the chic crowd, who make reservations three weeks in advance. A rustic piece of Munich's guest garden history is lost as a result. Bye Preysiggarten.....

I was really looking forward to the salmon pasta with lobster white wine cream sauce, but unfortunately the dish was served with tomato sauce. This was disappointing as I was particularly looking forward to the special sauce. Other than that, the food was fine and the service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a solid visit, but unfortunately not the dining experience I was hoping for due to the wrong sauce.

Sorry, but the prices are absolutely not justified. Service was very nice and friendly, but 18 euros for a small portion of ham noodles is really cheeky. This does not explain inflation or VAT increases.

Nice place with good service. The waitresses were always attentive. However, extremely expensive. Augustiner almost 6€ for a half. Food was “okay” but mediocre quality for the price. Pizza dough so-so. A friend's cheese spaetzle wasn't anything special either. But we paid almost €20 for each dish. Unfortunately overall not recommended.

High prices for poor service and mediocre food. The starter plate took 30 minutes to arrive and is very small for the high price. The schnitzel was out, the meatballs were still cold inside and we still found pieces of chicken between the sauce. Neither food nor drinks came at the same time and it took a long time to arrive. The beer was poured under the brand and at a high price. The cheese spaetzle was just tasteless. I wouldn't come here again.

Nice place. We sat outside. The menu was a mix of Asia, Italy and Bavaria. Even though the mix made me skeptical at first, everything tasted good (we were a large group - so everything was there).

Very nice beer garden, very nice atmosphere. We had specifically made a reservation outside for a birthday party for 10 people. When we arrived we were told they could only offer us an inside table. However, on the reservation book you could see that our reservation for outside had already been crossed out (probably occupied by other guests). As an alternative, we were offered that we should split the group up, one table inside, one table outside. When we mentioned that we didn't want to do that at a birthday party, we were told that it would be cold later anyway, so we might as well just go in. Probably unlikely at 25 degrees in summer. We then decided on another restaurant. Very unfortunate.

We ate outside in lovely temps at 8:30 pm. Big portions. My grilled chicken salad was really tasty, and our servers endured my awful German with great good cheer. My husband loved his minestrone and our friend's scampi spaghetti looked delicious.

We have arranged to meet up with former colleagues for our annual meeting in the Preysinggarten. Even though the temperatures weren't that summery, we sat outside in the garden and felt very comfortable there. Service as well as food and drinks were great. When it finally got too cold for our ladies, we were able to move inside without any problem. In short, we all felt very comfortable, a piece of down-to-earth Munich hospitality!

The planned evening for the company summer party in the beer garden fell through. It was possible to change tables to the restaurant at short notice (changed by telephone). After arriving at 6 p.m. when ordering our food, we were informed that the table could only be occupied until 8 p.m. After the overpriced dishes, we were looking forward to dessert. Instead we received the announcement that the table was only available until 7:15 p.m. and we had to leave the restaurant!!! It's great that Haidhausen has even better things to offer. It's unbelievable how we were treated here. I have reserved a table for 14 people. When we arrived we were informed that we could use the table for almost 3 hours. Afterwards they would set up a table for us with blankets in the rain. After almost 2 hours, we just had the tickets for dessert in our hands, when the service manager came to collect the money. You already have a reservation from 7:20 p.m. The waiters were very nice, but the management was dishonest and unfriendly! We definitely won't be celebrating there anymore!!!

I sat outside in the beer garden when the weather was good. That was really nice. The breakfast was somehow bland. It seemed to want to convince people with thick letters of cheese or salami. Quite expensive for the quality. It wasn't for me and I probably won't come back.

For mediocre food and service it’s also quite expensive. Definitely above average prices for Munich for quite a bit below average food. Schweinebraten was excellent. Only negative was that service was slow - perhaps it's just a leisurely pace, but after ordering and receiving our drinks, it took over an hour to bring our food.

The food is not tasty - the pasta is like ordinary boiled horns. They promised half the portion for half the price - they paid for the full portion. Twice they brought the wrong orders - it took a long time to find out.

Actually a nice restaurant and beer garden! But the etiquette leaves a lot to be desired! You come into the restaurant on Tuesday evening around 5:30 p.m. and instead of someone saying a friendly and warm welcome, they immediately say: you have a reservation! The whole place was empty!!!! Reservation or not!! We demand that much tact as neighbors and permanent guests in the beer garden!! How difficult is it to think in a friendly and, above all, solution-oriented way!! ?? Then in God's name, just add more to Stui!! Man oh man! There should always be room for two people from the neighborhood!! Especially since everything was empty!!! What's wrong with you restaurateurs?? Everything has become more expensive! But the service is getting worse and worse!! I really annoyed us!

We were there today after a long time. Years ago the Preysinggarten was really better Regarding food, service and prices, it should actually be called "Hohepreising-Garten", in any case the drink prices are sometimes 50% more expensive than in the restaurants in the surrounding area. About the service: At the beginning it felt like there were 5 waiters there, but we still had to wait almost 15 minutes for a card, We were then served by 5 waitresses one after the other, one brought cards, one took the order, Another brought drinks, food came from someone else and we paid again to someone else, who also wanted to make us pay a bill that was three times as high from a neighboring table. Everything is a bit strange. The restaurant was really better 2 years ago and somehow had a neighborly, authentic feel to it Flair, I have no idea what kind it is today, I can't even say. In the past you could just do it Going out for a beer, if you came there with visitors you would almost be ashamed. To eat: Tzatziki was totally sour (no idea where it came from), had never had such a taste... pita bread was burnt, other bread was old (already hard). Honestly, I don't want to say that it's better everywhere else, but something is going wrong here. High prices, poor service and unambitious food are probably too much of a good thing. Sorry.

Great food and lovely atmosphere sitting outside in the sun. The waiter we had however was not very friendly and came off a bit rude. As you can see from the photos though, the food was excellent and I was ready to lick the plate clean.

Two medium-sized meat patties (totally cold inside) with fried potatoes for 19 euros are simply too much! It's a real shame... I still know the Preysinggarten from before and unfortunately the food has deteriorated a lot :-(!

When you entered the restaurant you were greeted with the words “I’ve already put everything away.” There was an undertone of shouting into the restaurant that two new guests were there and the cook shouldn't clean up. You immediately felt like you weren't wanted. Which is very sad because the atmosphere was very inviting. A pity !

Delicious food, warm atmosphere, hospitable and friendly staff... Tuna spaghetti was delicious... Parmesan cheese and pastrami pizza was also delicious... Prices were reasonable... After visiting the Deutces museum, you can come to this restaurant and have a pleasant and delicious meal. Don't forget to make a reservation because it is a boutique restaurant...

Ladies and Gentlemen Today we were in the Preysinggarten and all of our friends and I are of the same opinion, Hossa, what a super tasty and beautiful restaurant this is. The service was super friendly, even though the store was completely full and it was certainly very stressful. The food came without a long wait and was really incredibly tasty. A huge thank you to the kitchen and the service for a great evening. Absolute recommendation if you are visiting Munich. Best regards and enjoy your meal

The ambience is great, nicely furnished guest room, unfortunately bad pizza dough and somewhat inattentive service. And a tiramisu in a restaurant should be with egg and amaretto; I make the children's version myself at home.

Very friendly service. Waiters know mostly things on a menu and they are very friendly, service 5+. Food is ok, it is good, slightly dry, nothing special, could be better, so 4 stars. Atmosphere was too noisy 4 stars. Overall, it is a good place to visit. But there are much better and high-quality places.

Beautiful restaurant with a familiar feel to it. The service is extremely kind and warm, you feel like you’re invited into someone’s home. The owners are Greek and put a lot of thought and love into their food and business. Highly recommend!
