Very pleasant atmosphere, good food and fair prices

Was today for the first time since the reopening. Bright and friendly as always, although it is irritating to watch the dishwasher at work through the always open kitchen door. Child friendly with plenty of toys for little ones and appropriate noise levels. Alone, when it comes to food, it's a clear step backwards. There is still a farmer's omelette for breakfast, but now without potatoes, but rather carelessly served with very ripe cheese without any garnish or side dish. After waiting and asking for over half an hour. The ripe cheese in the omelet could work if the salmi note of the cheese were offset with a few fresh, crunchy flavors. So even with the bread that had to be ordered separately, it wasn't much of a pleasure, especially because the bread was already noticeably dry around the edges and was obviously from the day before. The milk foam in the coffee was clearly overheated and not particularly creamy.

Yesterday evening it was a very, very successful visit to what was probably the friendliest inn in Munich. It's been a long time since we've been treated so kindly and in such a familiar way. Although the restaurant was extremely busy and there were no staff in the kitchen, there was no rush or stress in the dining room, just friendly faces and bright smiles. The inn itself is very comfortably furnished and invites you to linger. Our food was super tasty. We wish the Preysinggarten team all the best and love Thank you for the lovely evening with you

One of the few places open for Christmas Eve dinner on our family trip to Munich. So glad we encountered this restaurant and were able to make a reservation. From the moment we walked in, to the time we left, we experienced a warm welcome and exceptional service and hospitality. And of course, the food was delicious. Don’t think we could have picked a better, festive and homey place. Sincere thanks to the entire staff for hosting us during the holiday season and for their warmth.

I wanted to create a new review but it seems not possible. This was my older review: “Simple but well prepared food with fresh products. Nice atmosphere.” > some months later: pasta with salmon > overcooked, greasy sauce, smelly fish; my friend took a pizza ai funghi > very standard, not even tasty. None of us finished our dishes.

We received a very friendly welcome. Food tastes good. Prices very reasonable. But Munich. Augustinian €5.90

Expensive, if at all mediocre restaurant. Dishes expensive and nothing special. Käsespätzle were definitely not homemade and were very, very expensive. Overall, I think it's too expensive to really enjoy it. The outdoor area is nice in the summer, it's also nice to sit inside and the advantage is that there is hot food all the time and the restaurant doesn't take a lunch break.

We celebrated our wedding here and the evening was better than we could have imagined. The entire communication and pre-planning was super accommodating and a lot of fun. The tables were beautifully set and prepared and the evening went smoothly. The whole team was very quick and incredibly friendly. At no time was anything missing from anyone. Thank you for the unforgettable time we were able to spend with you.

The Preysinggarten is an institution in what is probably the most beautiful corner of the city. This little gem is located in the middle of the French Quarter. It impresses with its warm and rustic ambience as well as first-class service. The breakfast is delicious, although the farmer's omelet with feta and tomato could have been a bit more sophisticated. We would be happy to come back at any time

Nice, cozy place to feel good. The food was delicious and fresh across the board. The "star deduction" is for the really unpleasant, "burnt" kitchen smell that settles throughout the restaurant and in the clothes. Otherwise, the restaurant can be highly recommended.

We celebrated our daughter's baptism in the Preysinggarten last week. It was a wonderful celebration from start to finish. Everyone was very welcoming and tried to make sure we had a wonderful day. The terrace, the table decorations, the food and the service were wonderful. We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful location for this occasion.

The restaurant is very comfortably furnished and invites you to linger. The prices are high, as is usual in Munich and the surrounding area. Unfortunately the cappuccino was very hot and the milk wasn't foamed well. For €4.90 for a café I expect a little more experience behind the bar and a corresponding café for the price. The taste of the café was ok, but unfortunately the preparation wasn't.

Restaurant whose interior is more reminiscent of a dining room. With the same acoustics: when it's full you can no longer understand your own words. Not suitable for conversations inside. The cheese spaetzle with salad was below average and totally overpriced at almost 18 euros. Service friendly. Overall poor price/performance ratio. Conclusion: Never again, unless you can sit outside in the garden and just want a drink.

It's a shame, this restaurant used to be a popular destination for family trips, where you could have dinner with the family in a cozy atmosphere - with the typical Munich garden flair. However, prices have now become prohibitive. 20 euros for pasta with sauce is simply a disgrace and hardly affordable for a family with two children. Unfortunately, the restaurant is now only aimed at the chic crowd, who make reservations three weeks in advance. A rustic piece of Munich's guest garden history is lost as a result. Bye Preysiggarten.....

I was really looking forward to the salmon pasta with lobster white wine cream sauce, but unfortunately the dish was served with tomato sauce. This was disappointing as I was particularly looking forward to the special sauce. Other than that, the food was fine and the service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a solid visit, but unfortunately not the dining experience I was hoping for due to the wrong sauce.

Very nice team. Unfortunately we weren't asked once if we wanted anything else. Breakfast is definitely better than pizza, pasta, etc. The garden and outdoor area is very beautiful. Like the restaurant itself. Very cozy

Sorry, but the prices are absolutely not justified. Service was very nice and friendly, but 18 euros for a small portion of ham noodles is really cheeky. This does not explain inflation or VAT increases.

Nice atmosphere, especially outside. Food is OK, but nothing special. The prices are far too expensive for that. There are better alternatives in Haidhausen.

Nice place with good service. The waitresses were always attentive. However, extremely expensive. Augustiner almost 6€ for a half. Food was “okay” but mediocre quality for the price. Pizza dough so-so. A friend's cheese spaetzle wasn't anything special either. But we paid almost €20 for each dish. Unfortunately overall not recommended.

High prices for poor service and mediocre food. The starter plate took 30 minutes to arrive and is very small for the high price. The schnitzel was out, the meatballs were still cold inside and we still found pieces of chicken between the sauce. Neither food nor drinks came at the same time and it took a long time to arrive. The beer was poured under the brand and at a high price. The cheese spaetzle was just tasteless. I wouldn't come here again.

Nice place. We sat outside. The menu was a mix of Asia, Italy and Bavaria. Even though the mix made me skeptical at first, everything tasted good (we were a large group - so everything was there).

Very nice beer garden, very nice atmosphere. We had specifically made a reservation outside for a birthday party for 10 people. When we arrived we were told they could only offer us an inside table. However, on the reservation book you could see that our reservation for outside had already been crossed out (probably occupied by other guests). As an alternative, we were offered that we should split the group up, one table inside, one table outside. When we mentioned that we didn't want to do that at a birthday party, we were told that it would be cold later anyway, so we might as well just go in. Probably unlikely at 25 degrees in summer. We then decided on another restaurant. Very unfortunate.

We ate outside in lovely temps at 8:30 pm. Big portions. My grilled chicken salad was really tasty, and our servers endured my awful German with great good cheer. My husband loved his minestrone and our friend's scampi spaghetti looked delicious.

We have arranged to meet up with former colleagues for our annual meeting in the Preysinggarten. Even though the temperatures weren't that summery, we sat outside in the garden and felt very comfortable there. Service as well as food and drinks were great. When it finally got too cold for our ladies, we were able to move inside without any problem. In short, we all felt very comfortable, a piece of down-to-earth Munich hospitality!

The planned evening for the company summer party in the beer garden fell through. It was possible to change tables to the restaurant at short notice (changed by telephone). After arriving at 6 p.m. when ordering our food, we were informed that the table could only be occupied until 8 p.m. After the overpriced dishes, we were looking forward to dessert. Instead we received the announcement that the table was only available until 7:15 p.m. and we had to leave the restaurant!!! It's great that Haidhausen has even better things to offer. It's unbelievable how we were treated here. I have reserved a table for 14 people. When we arrived we were informed that we could use the table for almost 3 hours. Afterwards they would set up a table for us with blankets in the rain. After almost 2 hours, we just had the tickets for dessert in our hands, when the service manager came to collect the money. You already have a reservation from 7:20 p.m. The waiters were very nice, but the management was dishonest and unfriendly! We definitely won't be celebrating there anymore!!!

I sat outside in the beer garden when the weather was good. That was really nice. The breakfast was somehow bland. It seemed to want to convince people with thick letters of cheese or salami. Quite expensive for the quality. It wasn't for me and I probably won't come back.

Beautiful outdoor area for when the weather is good. The interior is also very cozy and traditional. The food as well as the service is just ok (it used to be much better). For mediocre food and service it’s also quite expensive. Definitely above average prices for Munich for quite a bit below average food. It’s alright if you want a nice place to sit outside when the weather is good and don’t mind way over paying for an at best mediocre meal.

Schweinebraten was excellent. Only negative was that service was slow - perhaps it's just a leisurely pace, but after ordering and receiving our drinks, it took over an hour to bring our food.

The food is not tasty - the pasta is like ordinary boiled horns. They promised half the portion for half the price - they paid for the full portion. Twice they brought the wrong orders - it took a long time to find out.

Actually a nice restaurant and beer garden! But the etiquette leaves a lot to be desired! You come into the restaurant on Tuesday evening around 5:30 p.m. and instead of someone saying a friendly and warm welcome, they immediately say: you have a reservation! The whole place was empty!!!! Reservation or not!! We demand that much tact as neighbors and permanent guests in the beer garden!! How difficult is it to think in a friendly and, above all, solution-oriented way!! ?? Then in God's name, just add more to Stui!! Man oh man! There should always be room for two people from the neighborhood!! Especially since everything was empty!!! What's wrong with you restaurateurs?? Everything has become more expensive! But the service is getting worse and worse!! I really annoyed us!

We were there today after a long time. Years ago the Preysinggarten was really better Regarding food, service and prices, it should actually be called "Hohepreising-Garten", in any case the drink prices are sometimes 50% more expensive than in the restaurants in the surrounding area. Great food and lovely atmosphere sitting outside in the sun. The waiter we had however was not very friendly and came off a bit rude. As you can see from the photos though, the food was excellent and I was ready to lick the plate clean.

When you entered the restaurant you were greeted with the words “I’ve already put everything away.” There was an undertone of shouting into the restaurant that two new guests were there and the cook shouldn't clean up. You immediately felt like you weren't wanted. Which is very sad because the atmosphere was very inviting. A pity !

Delicious food, warm atmosphere, hospitable and friendly staff... Tuna spaghetti was delicious... Parmesan cheese and pastrami pizza was also delicious... Prices were reasonable... Ladies and Gentlemen Today we were in the Preysinggarten and all of our friends and I are of the same opinion, Hossa, what a super tasty and beautiful restaurant this is. The service was super friendly, even though the store was completely full and it was certainly very stressful. The food came without a long wait and was really incredibly tasty. A huge thank you to the kitchen and the service for a great evening. Absolute recommendation if you are visiting Munich. Best regards and enjoy your meal

The ambience is great, nicely furnished guest room, unfortunately bad pizza dough and somewhat inattentive service. And a tiramisu in a restaurant should be with egg and amaretto; I make the children's version myself at home.

Very friendly service. Waiters know mostly things on a menu and they are very friendly, service 5+. Food is ok, it is good, slightly dry, nothing special, could be better, so 4 stars. Atmosphere was too noisy 4 stars. Overall, it is a good place to visit. But there are much better and high-quality places.

Perfect for families with children to eat out

Beautiful restaurant with a familiar feel to it. The service is extremely kind and warm, you feel like you’re invited into someone’s home. The owners are Greek and put a lot of thought and love into their food and business. Highly recommend!

There are all sorts of restaurants in Munich - I walked past every time, but thanks to a tip I finally took a look there - with a reservation, this Sunday at 9 a.m. and what can I say - so wonderful - Simply beautiful, delicious breakfast - To put it together yourself, as a good eater, I definitely got full - by the way, for all of you tea drinkers, go there, there's lots of fresh tea of ​​all kinds, even with an explanation ;) what it does to the body. We had dinner in the Preysinggarten. In any case, looking at the menu is fun, but it goes away when you see the prices, especially the drinks. The food was really tasty and good. Things don't seem to be quite right in the Preysinggarten at the moment! Five of us were there for dinner early on Saturday evening and were quite surprised at what we experienced. First of all, the staff is friendly and the drinks were served quickly. Unfortunately, when we ordered the food, the positive impression soon disappeared. About 5 minutes after we chose, we were told that 1 of our meals was "out". Since no one in front of us already had food on the table, it wasn't that it was over, but rather that it wasn't cooked that evening. It can happen, but you can also say it directly. Another 5 minutes after our alternative order we were told that this dish would not be available either; why does it take 5 minutes to determine this again (probably a shortage of staff in the kitchen). Not too long later, we had the alternative orders on the table. However, the other dishes that were originally ordered and that were not “out” that evening did not arrive. About 10 minutes after the first meals were served, we asked about the whereabouts of the other meals; The staff were apparently surprised too. Shortly afterwards, a chestnut cream soup and two portions of Thai curry finally arrived, in which the sauce sloshed so generously in the deep bowls that the innkeeper didn't feel comfortable with it, and he asked if the portions could be served again, with significantly less Sauce should be brought. We politely declined. The taste of the food was generally ok, although not particularly. However, instead of the "Tagliatelle with fresh salmon fillet in prosecco and lobster cream sauce" (on the menu) there was spaghetti with salmon pieces and tomato and spring onion sauce, which tasted good, but nothing like lobster cream sauce! Instead of the white house wine we ordered, another white wine came. A word about the drinks prices, which at €5.80 for a light wine and €9.80 for 0.2 liters of white wine are absolutely not appropriate for a restaurant of this category, where small children are still running around at half past seven in the evening! I don't have to go back to the Preysinggarten so quickly.

Mein Lieblings-um-die-Ecke Restaurant. Tagsüber wie abends, allein wie auch mit Freunden. Weiter so

Essen war sehr unterdurchschnittlich. Schweinebraten mit Miniknödel ertrinkt in dunkelbrauner Fertigsauce. Griechische Vorspeise mit wenig Aroma, schlechter als vom Hamberger aus der Packung. Pita hart und geschmacklos wie aus der TK. Preise im oberen Mittelfeld. Insgesamt ehr schade, weil es eine sehr schöne Location ist.

Der Preysinggarten ist der perfekte Ort für einen Kaffee, einen Kuchen, oder ein leckeres Abendessen! Frisch zubereitet und sehr schmackhaft zubereitet. Besonders empfehlenswert ist das Kalbsschnitzel, zart wie Butter, hochwertige Panade und ein einziger Gaumenschmaus! Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Je nachdem was man isst, ist es ein Gaumenschmauss und deliziös bis gut und ok. Ich kann den Salat mit dem Ziegenkäsetaler empfehlen, ebenso die Pita und das Schnitzel. Nur diesmal hatten wir zu zwei das Souvlaki. Leider viel zu trocken und hart das Fleisch. Hier muss ich nochmal Kritik an den Griller äußern. Der Service ist wie immer super. Die Geräuschkulisse kann ein großer Störfaktor sein, wofür der Wirt nichts kann (Architektur des Lokals). Dennoch ist es sehr laut, vorallem wenn es voll ist, leider eher eine Kantinenatmosphäre! Empfehlen und immer wieder hingehen, für Leute die es mögen und/ oder damit klar kommen, würde ich das Lokal aber immer wieder!

Wir sind Rosenheimer und sind nach einem Museumsbesuch auf Empfehlung in den Preysinggarten eingekehrt. Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten (Samstag Abend) wurde es möglich gemacht,dass wir entspannt essen könnten,bis die Reservationen eintrudelten. Das Personal inkl. Chef waren ausgesprochen freundlich. Wir hatten das Gefühl dass hier viele Stammgäste ein und aus gehen.'man kennt sich". Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen waren zum satt werden. Nur die Getränkepreise haben uns schockiert. Also leider kein Wein zum Essen. Trotzdem kommen wir gerne wieder.

Essen war ok Penne mit Tomatensauce als Kindergericht hat leider allen 3 Kunden nicht geschmeckt, da mit Gewürzen verfeinert die nich für Kinder üblich. Zum Schluss wurde nicht das borniert was wirklich konsumiert wurde. Auch kein einlenken vom Wirt. Getränke mussten alle bezahlt werden. Fazit. Kommen nicht wieder. Dafür gibt es genug Lokalitäten in der Nähe

Sehr schöner Laden, super Essen. Aber eine 0,4l Saftschorle für 6,80€ ist schon frech.

Leider sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Die Preise waren selbst für München zu teuer, eine einfache Saftschorle hat 5,40 gekostet .. Es gab Pizza, Gyros, Pasta alles mögliche. Die Pizza kam offensichtlich aus der TK, genauso der griechische Vorspeisen Teller hat nach nichts geschmeckt:/ Man hat zwar gemerkt, dass die Bedienung bemüht war, trotzdem wurde eine Bestellung vergessen und Zutaten die auf der Karte standen weggelassen. Lediglich die Einrichtung ist schön und gemütlich aber wir werden leider nicht mehr herkommen..

Une soirée qui a mal commencé mais très bien fini. Plusieurs soucis en début de repas, à commencer par un mail une heure avant notre réservation nous annonçant que celle-ci avait été annulée par l’établissement. Heureusement résolu rapidement par téléphone. Accueil ensuite plutôt désagréable entre la première serveuse qui ne retrouve pas notre réservation (qui était pourtant la première de sa liste), et la seconde qui s’empresse de nous dire que nous devrons partir à 8:30. Étrange manière d’accueillir des clients. 35 minutes plus tard nous passons commande dont 2 plats arrivent avec des erreurs. Nous peinons à obtenir l’attention d’une serveuse qui finalement ne repart qu’avec une seule des deux assiettes. Impossible de la faire revenir à notre table, je me résous donc à aller moi-même en cuisine pour expliquer le problème (c’est bien la première fois que ça m’arrive!). Au final néanmoins, les plats étaient très bons. Nous avons apprécié l’existence d’un menu enfant (le seul restaurant de Münich que nous avons testé qui offrait cela), et les livres et coloriages à leur disposition. Le cadre est très jovial.

Sehr lecker und coole Location aber: 4,30€ für eine Brezel mit Butter ist frech. Vegane und vegetarische Auswahl sehr dürftig.

Sehr kinderfreundliches, gemütliches und angenehmes Restaurant. Essen ist gut, Ambiente ist gemütlich und nett. Immer wieder schön, hier Zeit zu verbringen. Gerade im Sommer, mit dem schönen Garten. Preise sind eher hoch, aber für München noch nicht überzogen.

Gutes deutsches, mediteran und asiatisch angehauchtes Lokal. Im Sommer und dieses Jahr (2023) bis mitte Oktober in einem kleinen Garten an der verkehrsberuhigten Preysingstraße eine so schöne Möglichkeit zu Frühstücken, Mittag- oder Abendessen zusich zu nehmen. Bei schlechtem Wetter im Altbau, nicht ganz so geiles Ambiente (laut und einfach, fast wie eine Kneipe eingerichtet). Aber das essen ist wirklich gut. Hier findet jeder etwas, garantiert. Allein das lesen der Speisekarte (dazu noch Tagesgerichte) macht einem die Auswahl und somit das Bestellen nicht einfach. Als explizit vegan Gericht habe ich jetzt nur das Thai-Curry wahrgenommen - und bestellt, was sich gelohnt hat. Unbedingt auch nach dem leckeren Brot vom Heidhausener Bäcker nachfragen, frisch mit super Kruste. Sehr nettes Personal !!! Hier muss man einfach öfter hingehen...

Sehr leckeres Essen aber das Essen dauert manchmal etwas länger.

Vorab: An einem Sonntag Vormittag sollte man hier auf jeden Fall reservieren, das hatten wir bei unserem spontanen Besuch ein paar Wochen zuvor bereits gelernt 😉 Das Lokal ist ein klassisches Wirtshaus mit einer sehr schönen Terrasse draußen. Wir hatten zum Frühstück die Weißwürste, den griechischen Joghurt - beides sehr gut! Empfehlenswert ist auch die Guacamole zu einem Brotkorb! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall zu Mittag/Abendessen wieder - die Gerichte an den Nachbartischen sahen hervorragend aus 😀
