Portofino Pizzaservice in Scharbeutz

We ordered for pickup via Lieferando. Food was even ready before the stated time. Both pizza and spaghetti. Warm, good tan, delicious taste of its own.

Easy to order via Lieferando and the food is ready to be picked up quickly. The pizza was well topped and the baguette and sauce that went with it were also very tasty. The pizza was better than the local Italian restaurant and not nearly as expensive.

Every holiday begins with a take away pizza from Portofino. I am always very satisfied. Simple but solid pizza with a huge selection and very fair prices for the location right by the sea. And the small pizzas also fill you up. I am happy :)

At first glance, an inconspicuous ice cream parlor. You can sit right by the water, the ambience is great. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. Drinks and food were okay too. Price performance with the view is okay.

Our favorite place in Scharbeutz, the location on the beach, beautifully sheltered and still outdoors! Perfect to end the evening with pizza and pasta!

Not a gourmet temple, but one of the few restaurants that are still open on the beach in the evenings. Everyone enjoyed it.

Unfortunately, the menu prices stated on the internet are completely wrong. You pay around €4 more per pizza, which should of course be changed, but the pizza is still delicious.

One of the few shops that were still open on the way from Timmendorfer Strand to Scharbeutz (Friday evening 8:15 p.m.). Pizzas and casseroles were delicious!

2 pizzas, 2.8 km distance. After ordering at 7:30 p.m., the app writes that it will be 9 p.m. Well, maybe a lot to do, but OK. I called at 9:07 p.m. ".bla bla bla...are just there...busy, bla bla bla...coming in 20 minutes". Another call at 9:45 p.m., no one picked up. Pizza arrived at 10:01 p.m. In summary, we waited 150 minutes for two pizzas and they weren't really that great either. What upsets me is that they basically lied to me when I called. You could have said, we have so much to do, it will take more time x - do you still want to cancel the order or would you rather cancel?" That would be customer service.

Unfortunately very poorly organized, you have to wait a long time. And orders that were made locally for pickup were processed well before orders that were ordered for pickup via Lieferando. I waited 1 hour instead of the 15 minutes that was stated. Unfortunately not recommended.

We ordered delivery and at 6:57 p.m. we received the information that it should be there in about 10 minutes. We now have 19:52 and nothing is there. 2 calls in between: “we have a lot to do”. When I asked for compensation they simply hung up. Edit: the food was pretty much just as bad. I would have given a maximum of 2 stars for that. Taste okay, consistency rubbery. The meat in the calzone was completely dry and fried. Garlic bread completely burnt, just like the money you paid for it. Crispbread. If we had had an alternative, it would have been used straight away. And as an addendum, I spent half the night on the toilet. Thank you very much, never again. Update: my review has now been reported as defamatory to Google. Since I was able to prove everything, it is now back. I'll save my thoughts on that...

It was a very disorganized pizzeria. Ordered online for pickup and should arrive in 45 minutes. Went there and had to wait another hour (!) despite asking several times. One of the three pizzas was extremely burnt and the cheese crust that was ordered and paid for was non-existent. To that I just say two words: NEVER AGAIN

A disaster!!! We wanted to order and time passed until someone came. I would like to mention that there wasn't much going on. Then we ordered and the wait began again. 25 minutes until food and drinks arrived at the same time. A little tip: drinks are served in advance and not at the same time as the food. Since we were three small families and ordered the bill, the waiter took everything down again so that nothing was billed incorrectly. When the waiter came with the bills, every single bill was wrong. Sometimes invoices were torn up and then only half of the invoice was given, I very much doubt whether this is correct for tax purposes. The waiter was visibly overwhelmed and couldn't get anything done. He became more and more unfriendly and finally felt like he was the king. The location is great, but unfortunately the waiters were already talking about us in advance. We noticed this beforehand when the waiters next to our table made gestures like putting their hands in front of their heads. This shows us the character of this restaurant, I no longer visit the restaurant.

Very tasty ice cream, great pizza, tasty burger and absolutely nice staff. Despite being very busy, we were served promptly and politely. We'd love to come back.

I think the pictures (on the terrace 3 years ago) speak for themselves! We definitely won't be coming back again.

We waited 24 minutes for a waffle with sugar and then we were told sorry, my colleague forgot it. 24min!!!! And the waffle isn't even cooked properly impudence. Waited today from 7:10 p.m. to 7:35 p.m Today is Thursday August 1st, 2024

There is delicious ice cream here. Nice service and a great view of the water.

Great location. But: I was there with my wife summer 23. The ice cream did not meet our quality criteria. Overly sugary and undifferentiated in taste. Our honest criticism was taken to court by the local. Honesty is obviously forbidden here

We ordered 3 pizzas there. Our Margherita pizza had salami on it. On the Portofino pizza, which according to the menu is topped with spinach, LEEK and hollandaise sauce, there was spinach, SALMON and hollandaise sauce. Only the Pizza Vegetaria was correctly topped. As a vegetarian, this order was a complete disaster; the Pizza Vegetaria tasted OK. We won't order there again.

We were just there, I had spaghetti with shrimp and rocket. It was super tasty, everything was right, service, food, price. I give it top marks in all areas

The waffle batter is made with rum flavor and almond! This is not mentioned on the menu or when ordering. Not suitable for people with allergies or people who don't want rum flavor in their waffle. I was very disappointed.

The spaghetti ice cream at Portofino in Scharbeutz was simply heavenly and a real treat. With the best ice cream parlor on the Baltic Sea beach, we were able to enjoy the great view to the fullest. The service was excellent and rounded off our visit perfectly. We'll definitely be back!

Simple food for reasonably moderate prices in this region. Sauces very spicy, pizzas are okay. You can also take it with you, but the price will be higher!

Stay away from this store!!! Absolutely outrageous, rude and distorting competition! Ordered three pizzas for delivery at 2 p.m. for 6 p.m. got the message at 6 p.m. that the pizzas had been delivered and then called at 6:30 p.m. and asked politely what was going on with the pizzas?! The answer was that you shouldn't wait in line, you had a lot to do and the pizzas would be ready and delivered soon. Then we just hung up... and the pizzas arrived cold at some point. A very, very bad experience and an absolute no-go...especially with such a large selection of stores and all at the beginning of the season! Sorry…six, sit down and think about everything.

We ordered pizza and it was quite good but nothing special…

It could easily be veganized by avoiding cheese. Finding our address was a bit complicated, which we didn't understand. Nevertheless, the pizzas were very tasty, but unfortunately a few centimeters too small in diameter. However, after a complaint, an hour later it was generously and free of charge. I was probably a bit sloppy when communicating. I'm sorry for that. Sorry, really.

We haven't eaten such bad ice cream with pieces of water in a long time. Aroma zero. The waffle tastes bland, very soft.

The ambience (glazed area with a direct view of the beach) is great, the service is nice. The food tasted good and was sufficient, prices were reasonable. What I didn't like was that straight after the meal, even though the glasses were still full and no sign was given to the staff, the bill came straight away without asking first whether we wanted to order anything else

Short background (the 2 of us on vacation, in the hotel, room number etc. with names given when ordering, me with crutches, stated that it can be handed in at check-in) We ordered via Lieferando for 7 p.m. At 6:57 p.m. the information came: "It's being prepared" and at 7:13 p.m. the call said he was there and asked me if I could come down and do it for him because he was there in his PRIVATE CAR and couldn't wait. I asked why he could give it away and he said no, he couldn’t…. Told him My girlfriend is coming down to lose weight takes a moment. My girlfriend 3 minutes downstairs and waits and checks the whole street. No one there, she gets the phone from my room to call him, no one answers. At 7.19 p.m. we are on the street. He arrives in a "fat Benz" and my girlfriend asks (understandably) annoyed why can't you deliver it (4m) away to the reception (he's a delivery service?!) His answer was “Do you want to have your food or not?” She replied “Of course” He asked me on the stairs: “What kind of sick friend do I have?” and then asked her loudly: “I’m not sick.” He added: “Next time, order somewhere else.” He gave her two bags in an unfriendly and pissed-off manner and drove off in his Benz (without advertising) quickly and loudly, almost driving into people. In the end we didn't get anything we ordered. I have never experienced anything so unfriendly and disastrous.

Be careful when ordering via the homepage. I chose dishes online that I then wanted to order over the phone. I was told on the phone that the prices on the internet were no longer up to date and that the pizza now costs €34.90 instead of €28.90. Basically not an issue, but something like that is out of style and smells like a rip-off. That's why there was something different today👎

On the way to Timmendorf we had another iced coffee, a waffle and a smoothie here. The waffle was big and delicious. Service was nice. The view of the sea is spectacular, so you can enjoy a short break.

I definitely won’t come back again for several reasons: - Waiting times was so long even though there was not much happening at the time. - Spaghetti Cabornara was very salty, besides they even did not take care of how to arrange the food properly on the plate. It looks very ugly, I felt disappointed. Visiting this restaurant destroyed my day a bit.

Not recommended! Waiting times were very long even though there wasn't much going on. Ordered a waffle with cherries and a scoop of ice cream. The waffle came after 20 minutes, a very long wait for a simple waffle. The ice cream then took another 5 minutes to arrive. The batter of the waffle was exceptionally yellowish, taste was ok. €8 overpriced for what it is. Only the view and the friendly service are plus points!

The ice cream was lush but the quality wasn't particularly convincing. The ingredients tasted rather cheap. The view is great, but doesn't really put the mediocre quality into perspective

Köstlich scharf 🌶️ und der Pizzateig ein Gedicht- zum selbst abholen oder im Sommer bei gutem Wetter direkt vor Ort essen. Ich mag es noch mit extra Knoblauch 🧄

Netter Service, tolle Aussicht auf die Ostsee, Kaffee in Ordnung. Leider war der "warme Apfelstrudel" eiskalt und nicht frisch gebacken, sondern ganz klar aus der Verpackung. Geschmacklich leider nicht zu empfehlen!

Eis war geschmackliche gut, optisch okay, ansonsten reichlich. Bedienung war im Grunde nett aber schaute bisschen überarbeitete aus. Der Ladeneingang vollgestellt mit irgendwelchen Liefergütern, Flaschen usw... Na ich weiß nicht. Aber insgesamt. Okay.

Nudeln waren sehr lecker, Wein gut, schöner Ort. Ganz wunderbarer Kellner /Besitzer, ein echter Herr im Sinne von Gentleman, nette Unterhaltung, danke und alles Gute.

Diese Pizzeria bietet eine Große Auswahl von Italienischen Spezialitäten, wir hatten uns für Pizza entschieden und wurden nicht enttäuschend. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Danke gerne wieder :)

Pizza hat gut geschmeckt. Der Service war freundlich aber man muss sehr viel Zeit mitbringen. Wir haben lange aufs Essen gewartet und wir haben sehr lange auf die Rechnung gewartet. Der Blick aufs Meer ist sehr schön.

Waren auf ein Eis dort. Nichts besonderes, aber essbar. Kugel in Location für 1,90, to go 1,80 Euro. Service eher so lala, man muss teils recht lange warten, bis jemand kommt. Auch ist der Service wenig aufmerksam. Toll ist der Platz direkt am Meer mit Blick auf die Ostsee.
