Pommes Freunde in Regensburg

Ich spreche hier keine Empfehlung aus. Die Pommes waren heiß, jedoch nicht gesalzen. Wurst und Currysauce waren lecker, jedoch annähernd kalt. Die Menge reißt es auch nicht raus. Da habe ich schon für weitaus weniger Geld weitaus mehr leckere heiße Currywurst mit Pommes gegessen. Weiter fehlt mir hier die gute alte, einfache Mayonnaise. Das Bemühen um schmackhafte Saucen in allen ehren, aber zu einer Portion Currywurst Pommes gehört einfach eine ordentliche Portion Mayonnaise. Das laut durch die Gegend rufen der Bestellnummer geht eigentlich gar nicht. Bei den aufgerufenen Preisen muss eine digitale Anzeige drin sein. Kostet ja nicht die Welt solch ein Teil. Das Ambiente möchte ich nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht herausragend nennen. Um meinen Tisch herum, an den ich mich gesetzt habe, war es sauber. Wiederkommen werde ich erstmal nicht. Dafür langt das Gebotene aufgrund der oben beschriebenen Gegebenheiten nicht.

War an einem Samstag in der Spätschicht da, hinter der Theke stand eine Blonde junge um die 20-23 jahre alte Frau. Absolut unfreundlich. Keine Servietten, keine Holzgabeln (hatte currywurst bestellt) mitgegeben. Bei nachfrage wurde ich ignoriert und der kollege hat sich um mich gekümmert. Also das verhalten der dame ist mir schon oft aufgefallen, sehr passiv aggressiv. Werde dies auch aufjedenfall weiter oben abgeben. Seit sie dort angestellt ist meide ich das Restaurant. Schade

Cheeseburger bestellt, aber ohne Hinweis einen Halal-Cheeseburger bekommen. Als Kunde erwarte ich das Standardprodukt, wenn nichts anderes angegeben ist.

Alles frisch, aber rasch. Sehr schmackhaft und nicht zu "scharf". Ein sehr positives Erlebnis.

Hamburger war ohne käse erst und dann haben wir denn hamburger gebracht und gesagt das das käse geschmolzen sein muss sie haben uns gegeben und das käse war da aber nicht geschmolzen wir haben es wieder gebracht und das cola war warm

Sehr unfreundlich und schlechter Service, Noch dazu sind alle Tische dreckig gewesen. Essen war kalt. Als die Kinder die leeren Trinkflaschen zurück brachte, sagte sie es gäbe kein Pfand zu bis das ich dann zur Kasse ging, auf einmal gibt es Geld dafür. Daraufhin verlangte Sie auch noch sehr unfreundlich das wir das Tablett aufräumen sollen, obwohl wir noch nicht mal am gehen waren.. Einmal und nie wieder.

Burger war sehr gut, Pommes auch. Currywurst für 9 Euro eher klein. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, trotz technischer Probleme am Samstag Mittag hat alles relativ schnell geklappt, und wir würden satt. Sitzplätze leider wenig, und es ist sehr laut für unseren Geschmack.

10 Euro für einen normalen Burger aber man muss extra erwähnen dass man Tomate und Salat drauf haben möchte. Am Bestellautomaten wird man vermutlich darauf aufmerksam gemacht, wenn man direkt am Schalter bestellt (in meinem Fall) nicht). Mein Sohn hatte chicken nuggets, die waren trocken und schmeckten nicht.

Das Personal ist meiner Meinung nach unzureichend geschult. Ich hatte einen Käsegriller bestellt. Erst zu meiner Bestellung zur Hauptmittagszeit wurde die Grillplatte eingeschaltet. Dass das Teil gut mal 15Min braucht bis es heiß ist, sollte jeder wissen der dort arbeitet. Da das Personal wegen der langen Wartezeit schon ein schlechtes Gewissen hatte, kam die Ware mit nur sehr leicht angebraten und richtig warm war sie leider auch nicht. Der Boden im „Restaurant“ ist immer dreckig, fettig und klebrig. Also je nach dem wo mal steht klebt man fest oder rutscht aus. Das eigentliche Aushängeschild, die vielen verschiedenen Saucen zu den Pommes, wurden mehr als halbiert. Dort gibt es nur noch 4 verschiedene Saucen und Ketchup/Majo sind schon zwei davon. Und dann zahlt man dort deutlich überdurchschnittlich für mittlerweile unterdurchschnittliche Leistung. Ich hoffe das wird wieder besser.

Der Hamburger und die Süßkartoffeln waren unglaublich lecker, und die Soßen waren auch sehr gut. Ich habe eine eigene Kombination daraus kreiert, und der neue Geschmack war einfach spektakulär.

Die Saucen schmecken lecker! Ebenso die vegane Currywurst. Und die kleinen und großen Freunde sind gut.

Leider war ich sehr enttäuscht. Das Essen war kalt und hat geschmeckt, als käme es direkt aus dem Supermarkt. Für die Preise habe ich deutlich bessere Qualität erwartet. Ein Teil des Personals war freundlich, andere Mitarbeiter jedoch unhöflich und desinteressiert. Insgesamt wirkte alles unorganisiert und lieblos. Die Atmosphäre war unangenehm und ich habe mich dort nicht willkommen gefühlt. Ich werde definitiv nicht wiederkommen und kann dieses Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Eine leckere Abwechslung beim Einkaufsbummel im DEZ. Heiße und leckere Pommes, große Saucenauswahl und trotz Trubel (Faschingssamstag) sehr freundlich!

War heute dort das erste Mal essen, habe mir dann eine Currywurst bestellt und der Angestellte Gabor war sehr freundlich und nett, das Ambiente war ebenso so gut insgesamt 5 Sterne von mir

Die Freude und Freundlichkeit des Personals sucht wirklich seinesgleichen. Man fühlt sich absolut willkommen und die Herzlichkeit lacht den Angestellten aus dem Gesicht. *Ironie off* Nachtrag 03.02.26: der einzige Mitarbeiter am Abend war tatsächlich sehr freundlich, Bestellung ging schnell und war soweit okay - für meinen Geschmack war der Bacon zu wenig oder eigentlich gar nicht kross und viel zu viel Soße auf dem Burger. Dafür sah der Boden unmöglich aus! Wenn man den armen Angestellten nicht alleine im Laden ließe, könnte auch mal einer Boden und Tische reinigen. Sorry dafür, aber ihr tut wirklich alles erdenkliche, um schlechte Bewertungen zu bekommen.

Tatsächlich enttäuschend. Wie in anderen Bewertungen schon geschrieben, passt hier meiner Meinung nach Preis-/Leistung nicht. Auch mir ist die Burgergröße für den Preis eindeutig zu klein. Was dazu kam... Freitag Abend 18.30 Uhr. Volles Lokal, absolutes Chaos. Ein Mädel arbeitet sich dumm und dämlich, der Rest ist mit Diskussionen beschäftigt.

Waren heute zum ersten Mal dort. Preis Leistung stimmt hier leider überhaupt nicht. Die Burger treffen nur so vor Fett. Vom Fleischpattie hat man auch nix geschmeckt, nur von der Sauce und von dem vielen Fett. Und die größte Ärgernis ist, wenn man am Bestellterminal nicht aufpasst, zahlt man unbewusst Trinkgeld. Alles in allem nicht zu empfehlen.

Vorauswahl beim Trinkgeld am Terminal…in dem USA vielleicht üblich, hier empfinde ich es als nogo und grenzt schon Täuschung.

Es war wirklich eine schlechte Erfahrung. Wir hatten uns für die Mitnahmeoption entschieden – es gab nur Burger und Kartoffeln –, aber ich glaube, die Zubereitung dauerte über 30 Minuten. Ich sah, dass der Burger schon nach 10-15 Minuten auf dem Tisch stand, und erst ein paar Minuten später wurden die Kartoffeln aufgefüllt. Das war aber nicht die Erfahrung, die ich sonst gemacht hatte. Und ich muss zugeben, das Essen war super. Aber meine Erfahrung war wirklich deprimierend.

Bei der Lieferung haben die pommesfreunde das wichtigste vergessen, die Pommes... Burger trocken weil sie einfach zu lange totgebraten wurden und ohne irgendwas oben drauf nur ewig viel Soße. Bacon hatte etwas von einer Schuhsohle

Kreuzkontaminationen garantiert, nichts für Menschen mit Allergien oder Zöliakie…

Essen ist geschmacklich gut. Größe der Portionen ist eher im unteren Bereich angeordnet. Bei Reklamation zur Menge der Portion, habe ich einen leeren Blick ohne Antwort erhalten. Aufgepasst werden muss jedoch bei der Abrechnung am Terminal. Hier wird automatisch ein Trinkgeld aufgebucht. Kann man abwählen, wenn man es jedoch überliest oder sich bei der nächsten Bestellung nicht daran erinnert, hat man ein nicht gewünschtes Defizit. In Summe ärgert mich das Trinkgeld und Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht überein.

I visited Pommes Freunde in the DEZ shopping center in Regensburg and was very satisfied. The fries were super crispy, freshly prepared, and the selection of sauces was really good. The burgers were also delicious and nicely presented. The staff was friendly, and despite the busy atmosphere, everything was quick. The price-performance ratio is definitely right. I'll gladly come again!

If you order and make a special trip there, the order gets cancelled. That's really unacceptable, outrageous!

Service und Ambiente kann ich nicht beurteilen, da Lieferung, aber das Essen, sprich Currywurst und Pommes BBQ waren ultra lecker. Klar nicht ganz billig, aber der Geschmack machts! :-)

Ich war heute im Regensburg DEZ bei POMMES FREUNDE und bin total zufrieden. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut, aber das Highlight war der Service. Ein großes Lob an Sophia: Sie war so freundlich und sympathisch, dass man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Tolle Qualität und super Mitarbeiterin – ich komme gerne wieder Danke Sophia :)

Das Essen ist wirklich lecker, vor allem Chicken Burger, aber zu klein für 10€ einzeln bzw. 15€ im Menü. Man braucht mindestens zwei oder drei Hamburgers (ohne Pommes) um satt zu werden. Ich werde leider hier nicht mehr kommen, obwohl es wirklich gut schmeckt. Und übrigens, für Halal bezahlen braucht man nicht, da alles auf einer Platte zusammen gebraten wird und vermischt wird.

I like going to Pommesfreunde, but I can't recommend this location. Five people were served food before me, even though they had ordered after me, and my food had been sitting behind the counter, ready to eat, the whole time. The employees were so busy with personal conversations that they simply forgot my food there, and when I asked if it was for me, I was asked what my problem was.

Mur ordered fries. The wait was endless. Never again.

The food is really delicious, but everything else is really bad. We ate there today and when we ordered at the ordering machine, it was really annoying that they automatically added a 5% tip (a tip for something when you're self-service), and we didn't get a receipt, which is really annoying and not allowed. Almost all of the tables were dirty, with fries and sauces lying on the floor. Not an atmosphere where you enjoy eating. When we were finished eating, we wanted to hand the tablet back to the dish return, but everything was so full that there wasn't even room. The taste was really great and it's also great that you can choose your own sauce for the fries, but the atmosphere and service still have a lot of room to improve.

So, I have to say upfront that I knew what I was getting into and how much it would cost, but €11.60 for currywurst with fries and a 0.33l of Coke is extremely outrageous for what you get! Compared to the advertising image, half the currywurst is missing, and they also cut corners on the fries! The fries taste not far from McDonald's. On the currywurst scale :D from 1-10, where 10 is Curry 36, this currywurst ranks closer to a 4, so it's not a disaster, but nothing special either, and the price and quantity really lower the rating; purely based on taste, I'd give it a 6. For comparison, currywurst and fries at Curry 36 cost around €5.20. One thing that annoys me is that the self-service terminal automatically leaves a tip like in the USA... WHAT'S THAT ALL ABOUT! I'm wondering, tip for what? I placed my order and paid at the self-service terminal, and then I have to pick up the sausage myself; it's not brought to my table. I can/should also clear the tray myself, so what service am I supposed to automatically tip at the cashier for?! I wouldn't recommend eating here; the price-performance ratio is simply not right.

It was my first time there! Ordering at the terminal went smoothly, but there was no slip of paper (pickup is done via an assigned number) and no digital display (numbers were shouted through the entrance area), which naturally seemed a bit disorganized and chaotic. The wait was about 5-6 minutes (meal with burger, fries, and a drink) - my burger sat on the tray for about 90 seconds and had to "wait" for the fries. Unfortunately, the taste was only average for the price! Not bad, but not great either. Special requests were fulfilled (a salad on the burger can be ordered for free). At the end of the day, the total was €14.90 for a burger meal with fries (there are three different variations to choose from) including a 0.33 liter drink. Since the quality isn't any better than at the usual fast-food giants, it's safe to say you're almost better off at the Golden M or the BK... What really stands out is the counter with various sauces that you're almost only familiar with from fries in the Benelux countries, which you can get for free (ketchup and mayo are also available, of course)! All in all, okay - but simply too expensive for the taste!

We stopped by Pommesfreunde today. After detailed and very helpful advice regarding allergens (well-managed!), we ordered the grilled sausage double pack and a single portion of fries. The food was prepared quickly and was packaged super cool. But then we got a shock when we got home! 😱 We ordered too little. 😅 The food was so delicious that we said we'd order more next time! The grilled sausage tasted excellent, and the portions were just right. The side of fries was also well-portioned; I have no idea why some people are complaining. The single portion of fries was a bit larger than the side and also a decent size. The curry sauce blew us both away. It tasted so damn good, now other curry sauces are in a bad place. 😁 All in all, a great experience and good food, which was quick and plentiful, to our satisfaction. Good taste, but a lot of things were disappointing There was nothing to complain about in terms of taste – the burger was delicious, the bun fluffy and well-toasted, the ingredients fresh. Unfortunately, that was almost all that was truly convincing. The portion size is a real disappointment: The burger patty was more reminiscent of the size of a simple hamburger from a well-known fast-food giant, and the fries – well, they were more or less symbolic. For €15.90, you honestly expect a lot more. You won't be filling up here, at least not with a regular meal. What was particularly negative was the ordering process via the terminal. The menu navigation is misleading – a drink seems to be included in the menu, but is suddenly charged an extra €2.50 at the end. Even more brazen: If you're not paying close attention, a 10% tip is automatically added – for a restaurant where you click together your own food. That's really borderline. The staff also seemed unengaged or unfriendly. Conclusion: The taste is excellent, but the overall package is simply not worth the money. If they improve this – especially in terms of portions, value for money, and service – it could be a real recommendation. Unfortunately, this leaves a rather stale aftertaste.

For this price, it's outrageous how small the portion is. And even more outrageous that they automatically add a 5% tip to the bill for the staff, who react irritably to questions. Will I go there again? NO!

There's nothing to complain about the food and ambiance, but I've had several negative experiences with the service. It's happened several times that ordering at the ordering terminals and card payments didn't work. While that's not really the staff's fault, according to one employee, this is a common occurrence. Today, however, things got a bit chaotic when we were told at the counter to please order at the terminal because card payments weren't accepted at the counter. While we were ordering there, three other customers were still being charged by card. The terminal wasn't working, and the employee just said she'd be right there while she checked out other customers who had arrived long after us. At one point, the salesperson, who didn't come over, casually informed us that we'd have to order again because it wasn't working or leave. There was no apology, etc. either. Since the line was too long for us to wait in line again, we ended up leaving and most likely won't eat there again. Edit: I've been waiting for almost two weeks for the amount debited from my account to be refunded.

By far the worst pommesfreunde in Bavaria. Staff are completely unmotivated (I've often seen them in the back kitchen on their phones while customers are waiting in line), the wait times are incredibly long (sometimes 20 minutes for a currywurst, while maybe 1-2 meals are served in that time), usually very dirty and messy, and they simply charge 50 cents more for the menu than what's on the order board, without prior notice. The food is okay for pommesfreunde, but I've often gotten cold because it sometimes sits around for minutes before being paged. Edit: I really don't understand how they manage it, but they manage to consistently hire worse staff. The place is packed, people are queuing, and waitresses are calmly stocking the fridge with three people.

Ordered twice, received something with spring onions twice. Please retrain the person taking orders or replace them with someone who can read. Absolutely outrageous!

Fries Friends offers a cozy atmosphere and now has a large selection of specialties - everything from hot dogs, currywurst and fries to burgers and sweet potato fries. The burgers taste good, but I deducted a star because they are unfortunately a bit small for the price. Today I tried the currywurst with fries for the first time - it was delicious, especially in combination with the spicy curry sauce. By the way, the sweet potato fries are always a good choice here and taste consistently good compared to many other places. Overall, a solid recommendation for anyone who wants delicious fast food in a relaxed atmosphere.

I am completely satisfied and can recommend it to everyone.

Everything tastes good, the staff is sometimes overwhelmed at peak times

Today I ordered a snack for my mother-in-law from Friesfreunde for the first time. She is an absolute bratwurst fan. Unfortunately, more than disappointed. A red sausage without anything, i.e. no sauce, no fries, absolutely nothing for €7.95, cut up into small pieces in the cardboard. This is not only cheeky, but outrageous. Absolutely overpriced, no recommendation. Never again. The ambience was fine, looked chic. I can't say anything about the cleanliness, we left immediately. The staff was slightly overwhelmed even though there were only a handful of guests there and there was even a beeper to wait for the sausage. Zero stars

Hello. Unfortunately I can't give more than 2 stars. 1. To order. I find it absolutely confusing. Currywurst fries 9 euros as a base. As soon as you have chosen the sausage and choose a drink you are at 15 euros. Incomprehensible. 2. You will not receive a ticket as a receipt after payment. You have to remember the issue number...chaos is inevitable here. This should urgently be improved. 3. The burger was very nicely prepared and looked appetizing. Unfortunately, the bun/roll was buttered several times before it was toasted, so the fat just ran out of the burger when I ate it. I found that to be negative in terms of taste. My fries were very hot and super tasty 5 stars...unfortunately my child's fries weren't ready. 1 star. The cheese sausage was also very roughly cut, and there was also 1 piece of another sausage in the plate. 4. I think the ambience is okay. As a tip. Consider adding additional staff during lunchtime. This means that the cleanliness of the tables, the checkout process, etc. would be better guaranteed. With good will you get 3 stars.

Fries were great, the burgers tasted really good too. Unfortunately, you can't enjoy the burger 100% because there's way too much sauce on it and you lose most of it. Uncomfortably simple. And I found the tables a bit too small.

An absolute disappointment. Fast food at overpriced prices. Unfortunately, the menu navigation is absolutely misleading. For a burger that you order from the menu, you also get fries and a drink. The drink could not be deselected. If you want to order the burger individually, you don't have the option to order side dishes. I spent about 10 minutes at the terminal and tried out all possible combinations. If I hadn't been accompanied, I wouldn't have continued ordering! For 17€ an absolute disgrace! Small portion, limp fries, the burger tasted good. Unfortunately that was the only positive thing about my visit. You have to pay an additional 15ct deposit for the glass bottles but the waitress said we should just put the bottles in the carriers. No trace of the deposit. This probably doesn't hurt the individual. We didn't get a receipt from the terminal either. The lady behind the counter said we just have to remember the number shown. Unfortunately, the transaction details for card payments that you may need are on receipts. Have you ever heard of a receipt requirement?

Perfect food and great service! I ate here for the first time today and I have to say: everything was great! As soon as I entered I was greeted with a smile and given very good advice. The food was not only prepared quickly, but also tasted excellent. A special thank you to Sophia for the friendly advice and quick preparation! I'm already looking forward to my next visit when I'm back at Donau Shopping Center.

The fact that employees in the fast food sector are not necessarily the most motivated employees is nothing new and ultimately understandable - and of course this also applies to fries lovers. However, what ends up on the plate or in the paper box of the fries lovers is bordering on cheeky. Tiny portions at absolutely overpriced prices - the Kids Box in particular is just ridiculously overpriced. And then the whole thing looks like it's been put through a meat grinder when you order take-out. No thanks, once there and then never again.

I visited the Affenfreunde branch in the Donau shopping center because a colleague recommended it to me. Unfortunately my first visit was extremely disappointing. Cleanliness in the store was a big problem. The tables were very dirty, with sauce stains and residue that had obviously been drying there for several hours, if not over half a day. These stains were not only unhygienic, but also sticky and greasy. The floor was also in poor condition - scattered pieces of chips and other leftover food gave the impression that it had not been cleaned for a long time. The staff seemed underutilized as several employees were engrossed in conversations instead of taking care of the hygiene in the restaurant.
