Unfortunately, I've had several very unpleasant experiences at this McDonald's branch. As a woman, you feel anything but comfortable there – employees are pushy, ask personal questions like "How long are you staying here?" or say things like "I'll come with you." This is completely inappropriate and clearly crosses the line between friendliness and harassment. I've also noticed that at the McDonald's Drive-Thru exit, boxes of burger buns and presumably other food items are regularly left outside for extended periods – packaged, but still openly accessible. This poses a high risk of contamination from animals or environmental influences and, in my opinion, raises serious doubts about the hygiene standards. Overall, unfortunately, this isn't a place where you feel welcome or safe as a customer.

The toy is shown as available on the vending machine, you get another one and you can't return your Happy Meal even though you only wanted it for that reason

Long wait and the order I received was completely wrong.

The slowest McDonald's I've ever seen. Even when the place is empty, you easily wait 6-7 minutes for your order. The drive-thru is also disastrous. At the counter where you order, you're told that only cash payments are accepted. It's great when there are other cars in front of and behind you. Then communication at the drive-thru is often very difficult. You have to repeat yourself constantly, even if you speak really slowly and clearly. The second star is because nothing has been forgotten so far.

Newly renovated, the staff quite nice, just a little confused. There's only one restroom on the first floor. The biggest weakness is the shakes: they're thin, very sweet, and taste bad.

I recently visited McDonald's in Regensburg Königswiesen and I have to honestly say: I was really pleasantly surprised – especially by the interior design! I wouldn't have expected such a modern, stylish, and cozy ambiance in a fast-food restaurant. The interior is not only functional but also tastefully designed. Warm colors, beautiful wooden elements, comfortable seating, and a well-thought-out lighting concept make the visit truly pleasant. It doesn't feel like a traditional fast-food restaurant, but almost a bit like a modern café. The atmosphere invites you not only to eat quickly, but also to simply take a moment to breathe and feel comfortable – whether alone, with friends, or with family. What I also really liked: the cleanliness! The dining room was well-maintained, the tables were wiped regularly, and the entire area appeared tidy and inviting. The restrooms were also in very good condition – you can really tell that attention to detail is taken care of here. The team was friendly and attentive, despite the busyness. I received a friendly greeting, ordering went smoothly, and the food arrived quickly. For me, this McDonald's is truly a prime example of how modern fast food can be combined with style and quality. I'll definitely be back – not just for the burgers, but also for the truly lovely atmosphere! Kudos to the team and the design – it makes all the difference.

There were 6 orders waiting and 5 of the employees were just standing, talking and laughing. I waited more than 10 min even though there were more employees on shift than customers waiting. And then our order was wrong 🙄

Unfriendly staff, you can't get some things in the evening. And dirty to no end, but that's what this MC has always been - nothing has changed even after the renovation, on the contrary, it disgusted us.

The McDonald’s on Defreggerweg in Regensburg recently pleasantly surprised us. It's been a while since we've enjoyed such fresh and well-prepared food here. The burgers were juicy, the fries were perfectly crispy and the drinks were refreshing – simply a pleasure. Even though some of the tables were a bit dirty, we generously overlooked this due to the quality of the food. It was a welcome change to finally have such fresh and tasty meals again. Overall, a pleasant visit that definitely leaves you wanting more.

Unfortunately everything is dirty. The table was dirty, the floor was dirty, just disgusting. The employees didn't seem to mind, despite asking, the tables weren't cleaned. No thanks, never again here.

Not a fast food restaurant - waited 16 minutes for food. Tables hadn't been wiped down, rubbish was on the floor... there was a normal flow of visitors.

An employee poured a whole Coke down our legs when he brought us food. He neither apologized nor bothered to get a new Coke. While we ate in wet clothes, he kept glaring at us. We're not asking for much, but an apology would have been appropriate...

All the time in a winter jacket, the temperature inside is about 12 degrees. . Service unpleasant. It bothered her that I wanted to order from her (because of an allergy), that I had to go to the display. Instead of ordered espresso, 2 dcl of breakfast coffee.

Just another McD - not super fast, not super tasty, but freshly prepared & eatable. Very cold inside - you have to wear your coat/jacket to survive sitting there🙁

Food poisoning!!! I bought a cappuccino today at 4:30 p.m. which my husband and I drank and 2 hours later me and my husband started having symptoms, vomiting and all that great stuff.

Not a single star if that were possible. Dude, what's the point? I order on lieferando at 7:13 p.m., wait until 8:17 p.m. ONLY to receive the message that my order should arrive at 9:40 p.m. to 9:50 p.m.? There was no warning or message that it might take a little longer today, and when I wanted to cancel my order at customer service, I couldn't because according to the restaurant it was already prepared and being delivered, which can't be TRUE because it should have been there a long time ago if that were the case. That's NOT 5 minutes by car, unfortunately I know that because I've driven the route thousands and thousands of times, both by car and by bike. If your drivers are all busy and the forecast is more than 2 hours then you should put a damn lid on it and don't let any new ones arrive OR at least say something! And if the order was just for me I wouldn't be so mad, but that's really happening NOW, especially when I'm also ordering for my two older parents who are ALSO hungry right now! By the way, it's STILL not there, even though I should have been able to get there by car in the time it took me to type THIS, you liars! update: it's still not there. It's now 10 p.m.

When I asked if they could just give us the pattie instead of the hamburger, the answer was 'NO!' - but due to gluten intolerance, my husband can no longer eat it when the bread comes. When he tried to explain this, the police were called and threatened that they would take him away if he didn't leave the restaurant immediately. A terrible place!

Is a typical fast food restaurant

Was there the second time around the morning hours, after work. I ordered something to take away both times. The first time I ordered a Royal Ts hamburger was missing and the second time I ordered 9 chicken nuggests. Logically, you only notice this at home. I find this extremely unprofessional, especially given the prices.

Very!!!! Busy, full parking, full drive-thru, very full lobby. Staff seem to be managing. Single use toilet area, small seating area inside outside seating area very cold and loud in winter. This McDonald's looks like a comfortable home. 🥰 Today, January 11, 1995 my husband and I went on our first date starting as employees on McDonald's. Now we celebrate 30 years together. We have visited McDonald's in many countries, states, and towns. It seems fitting for us to have a Sundae as a continuation of our adventures through many more years. Mc Drive intercom system is subpar even for McDonald's conditions and then extremely unfriendly staff.

We waited more than 30 minutes for our food, other customers who ordered far after us got their food much earlier. This no longer has anything to do with “fast” food. There is dissociative amnesia here in the branch! Something is constantly being forgotten or entire orders are mixed up. Even when you make a complaint, you forget something. Can someone get to the bottom of the situation from those responsible? Update 12/15/2024 Today the fries were forgotten again, as is often the case! The pick-up system also works less and less often, so you have to explain things for minutes before someone gets it. It is noticeable that the Mc Chicken is becoming flatter and the small side salad and the dressing have been reduced. The Big Mac consists only of sauce and rolls. Crispy chicken has also somehow shrunk. We love it

Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience on our last visit. We were there to enjoy our meal in peace, but an employee spoke to us rudely. He complained that we were “constantly ordering” and that he had to “go upstairs several times” because of it. We thought that it was normal in a restaurant to place orders if you wanted something else. His unfriendly behavior completely spoiled our enjoyment of eating. This really shouldn't happen in a customer service based company like McDonald's!

I waited 10 minutes for the food and then it was cold. Chicken nuggets were chewy and only lukewarm. I ordered Cola without ice and got water with syrup and instead of a Cola I only got water. And the promised codes from the Mc App simply didn't work there, it always worked in other McDonalds. Restaurant itself is just dirty.

The store is easily accessible. BUT: Dirtiest McDonalds I've ever been to. There are leftover food everywhere on the floor, tables and seating. The benches are also partly badly worn and damaged. The veterinarian would describe this as unhygienic. The toilets are under water, especially at the sink or below. Soap dispenser is empty. A hand air dryer is available for drying your hands. Staff not unfriendly and sufficient. Food OK. Overall, the overall impression is not convincing.

The food was good, but it took a long time to get served

Food is okay, not great but ok. Employees, on the other hand, couldn't behave at all. We completely laughed at a young employee with a disability in front of customers and made jokes about him. Mrs. Manager didn't actually react to it at all... I was really embarrassed to see and be part of such scenes. A customer stood up for the young man.

I usually order via the app and pick up at McDrive. Since the branch on Vilsstraße has failed to ensure completeness of the order, I have been getting my food from Defreggerweg for some time now. Unfortunately, things are going wrong here too. Whole burgers are simply folded in. When we asked when picking up whether everything was packed, the apparently annoyed employee replied that the order was complete. It wasn't like that again. Been cheated financially and not fed. It's a shame... Update: Ordered here again yesterday and picked it up at the drive-in - Same topic as last time: When asked if everything was packed, the answer was "yes" again. However, the Big Tasty was forgotten again. I don't know what's so difficult about handing over a complete order correctly at least once. I have now unintentionally given away a double-digit amount in this branch alone. For my part, I don't like McDonald's Regensburg. After all, there are others like BK or KFC. Or just cook yourself...

Food was as you would expect. The leader seemed stressed and somewhat unfriendly. The two urinals in the men's toilet were overflowing with urine. Writing no longer works properly. I know from my acquaintances that the women's toilets were normally clean.

DIRTY SHOP! The food is cold and not complete, the service doesn't understand you and you can use the toilets from the dining table! PS: Team Regensburg doesn't need to write anything below, just grab a cleaning bucket while you're at it and clean the shop!

We are used to McDonald's in the Netherlands, but this location was a breath of fresh air in comparison. The price indicated when choosing the dish was actually the price we paid. My daughter had a question and was kindly helped by an employee. I'm not used to that anymore. In short, are you near Regensburg and are you hungry? Then I can highly recommend this McDonald's to you.

I ordered an iced coffee shake to take away. Firstly, it took forever to get it done, the staff weren't necessarily friendly and seemed annoyed. When I got the shake for €4.60 (I think a predecessor wrote €4.30) but no matter, both were overpriced. After 2 normal pulls, on the way to the car, the straw was empty and the cup was full of just ice cubes. I'd rather go to a nice coffee shop and pay €1 more, at least you get something out of it and it's more comfortable too. McDonald's, me no more!

I'm shocked! Never seen such a dirty McDonalds!!! And that even though there wasn't much going on. It's best to take a cloth and disinfectant with you; you'll have to clean it vigorously before sitting down. Very disgusting, we definitely won't be coming back

We were in the restaurant at night and unfortunately the fries weren't cooked through, the burgers didn't taste good and the food took an awfully long time. One star because there was a small compensation.

Nice McDonald's. As always, I ordered via the app and just gave my order code. The food was delivered quickly to the outside table and the staff were very nice and friendly. The ashtrays were emptied and the outside area was clean and tidy. Therefore I cannot understand the many negative reviews. If we're in the area again, we'll be happy to come back
