McDonald's in Regensburg

Sunday, October 12, 2025, around 2:00 PM, I received an order from the McDonald's Drive-Thru for two double meals, all without fries! Unfortunately, I only noticed this when I got home. What can I do, dear McDonald's team?

Employees make mistakes, and I'm not even listened to for their mistakes! They hang up in my face, even when I've spoken politely, just because they don't want to admit their mistakes. All I can say about the service is: go to another McDonald's. That's a disgrace. They take two hours for a five-minute walk and just an order of three McFlurrys.

Beware of food poisoning! I bought a Big Tasty for lunch today. After 1.5 hours, I had severe stomach pain and really bad diarrhea. I've never had it this bad before. Great when you're out and about with the dog and there's no toilet anywhere. I threw my pants away right away. Never again McDonald's!

Two out of four cheeseburgers tasted like they were yesterday's, and the other two like the day before. Seriously, it can't be that difficult to make burgers like that and then charge such an outrageous price of €2.50 for cold, dry food. I'd rather eat rice cakes from five days ago. Even they aren't as dry as the burgers. Oh, and besides, I cut the burger into small pieces and threw it on a pile of ants. Even they didn't eat it.

I ordered two Filet-o-Fish. Half of the underside of one was completely soggy, and the breading on the fish had become very hard. Both had only half a slice of cheese on them, and it was extremely thin. The breading on this one, too, had become quite hard. Almost completely inedible. By the way, the bag was dry, which indicates that the liquid must have seeped into the bag at the restaurant before packaging.

11:30 p.m. ...no toilet paper or soap... Toilet seat loose, and when I came downstairs, everything was covered with sticky notes... 👎👎

The new decor is very well done, but the only drawback is that the prices are simply more expensive. The offers and vouchers are sometimes only 10 cents, and every now and then the regular breakfast is more expensive than the grande.

PLEASE finally hire someone to do the final check of orders! Something is "forgotten" every time, and when you report it, the rude assumption is that you didn't order it at all, even if it's on the receipt. Feel free to post your automatic reply below that you'll pass it on, but everyone would be better off if something actually changed.

I ordered small fries, which still hadn't arrived after 20 minutes, and after repeatedly asking for them, I was sent away. The older gentleman was so unfriendly and loud that, as a young woman, I felt quite uncomfortable.

Great location, lousy employees. The employees here are very self-absorbed instead of serving customers, and the wait times are unusually long. I left without food and went to another branch. This location is a negative example!

22 years ago I worked in this restaurant. Now, from my position as a 48-year-old man living in my homeland, I can honestly say that I have never had a worse job than this (except in another restaurant of the same chain in Germany). The attitude was inhuman. Today, given that Bulgaria is in the EU, there is a certain restraint in the manners towards Bulgarian guest workers. But at that time it was a nightmare experience. Especially since I was forced to walk home at night after the exhausting shift, covering a distance of 7-8 km. Many things cannot be erased from memory. And yet, in life we ​​have one mission - to develop and complete our earthly path as real humans. It is a pity that most businessmen forget that everything comes to an end, only the soul remains...

I have a different idea of a fast food restaurant. The service was too slow, something we observed with other guests as well. The receipt didn't come out of the ordering machine, and when I pointed it out, I was yelled at. The fries were fresh but without salt. This was the last time I was here.

Instead of vegetarian nuggets, they gave us regular meat nuggets. As if you wouldn't notice 🙄

Unfortunately, it was a very bad experience. We only ordered two drinks and had to wait over 10 minutes, even though the place was barely busy. The waiters stood there rather awkwardly and made no attempt to prepare the drinks. Unfortunately, very poor and incompetent service!

Very ridiculous. The employee on August 1, 2025 at 2:30 a.m. was very rude. No hello or greeting. He simply took the receipt by hand and 23 minutes later the order was still not ready. He didn't want to work and was rude to all customers. Worst McDonald's experience in the whole world. I wish you a speedy recovery.

I ordered food to my home, but they were missing fries. I called, and the fries were delivered to my home within minutes. Not only were there fries, which I was missing, but also chicken nuggets and a cheeseburger. Very good.

The matcha is very nice here (not intense but sweet in taste) - points deducted because the packaging is impractical for taking away as you often swallow an ice cube, a straw would make it better, otherwise great!

Most orders arrive incorrectly. What do they actually understand? I order a Cafe Creme from McCafé and I get regular coffee, and why is it often cold?! The cup is completely dirty. Simply a rip-off. I haven't been to McDonald's in years. The McDonald's Classic 2 for 1 vouchers don't have a price listed. It's just €6.10... Tiny and a truly sad sight (see photo, salad next to the burger). Never again. It's better to get a kebab for €6, which has something pretty healthy with salad and at least fills you up. Fast food is fine, but there are actually other places that offer nutritious food.

I can't recommend this branch. It's better to drive further down the highway. The next McDonald's comes along. You wait a long time and then you get food that, by McDonald's standards, was poorly prepared and gave the impression that it had been sitting for a while. I gave up on the hamburger after two bites. It tasted weird and was dry. I got exactly one napkin on the tray with the half-warm McDonald's rib. The nuggets were okay, but the box was already badly damaged when the employee slapped it down on the table without a word. Cleanliness was rather poor. What I find funniest, though, is the waste separation. A very grumpy employee simply throws everything from the drop-off shelf into a bag next to the separation station. It even has a nice note on the tray shelf: "If you don't have time, our employees will separate the waste for you." Absolutely unexemplary junk shop. I'll never stop here again.

There are no straws available with soft drinks anymore, even if you paid for them. You're really wasting a lot of money. It's shameful!

Unfortunately, I've had several very unpleasant experiences at this McDonald's branch. As a woman, you feel anything but comfortable there – employees are pushy, ask personal questions like "How long are you staying here?" or say things like "I'll come with you." This is completely inappropriate and clearly crosses the line between friendliness and harassment. I've also noticed that at the McDonald's Drive-Thru exit, boxes of burger buns and presumably other food items are regularly left outside for extended periods – packaged, but still openly accessible. This poses a high risk of contamination from animals or environmental influences and, in my opinion, raises serious doubts about the hygiene standards. Overall, unfortunately, this isn't a place where you feel welcome or safe as a customer.

The toy is shown as available on the vending machine, you get another one and you can't return your Happy Meal even though you only wanted it for that reason

Long wait and the order I received was completely wrong.

The slowest McDonald's I've ever seen. Even when the place is empty, you easily wait 6-7 minutes for your order. The drive-thru is also disastrous. At the counter where you order, you're told that only cash payments are accepted. It's great when there are other cars in front of and behind you. Then communication at the drive-thru is often very difficult. You have to repeat yourself constantly, even if you speak really slowly and clearly. The second star is because nothing has been forgotten so far.

Newly renovated, the staff quite nice, just a little confused. There's only one restroom on the first floor. The biggest weakness is the shakes: they're thin, very sweet, and taste bad.

Warm colors, beautiful wooden elements, comfortable seating, and a well-thought-out lighting concept make the visit truly pleasant. It doesn't feel like a traditional fast-food restaurant, but almost a bit like a modern café. The atmosphere invites you not only to eat quickly, but also to simply take a moment to breathe and feel comfortable – whether alone, with friends, or with family. What I also really liked: the cleanliness! The dining room was well-maintained, the tables were wiped regularly, and the entire area appeared tidy and inviting. The restrooms were also in very good condition – you can really tell that attention to detail is taken care of here. The team was friendly and attentive, despite the busyness. I received a friendly greeting, ordering went smoothly, and the food arrived quickly. For me, this McDonald's is truly a prime example of how modern fast food can be combined with style and quality. I'll definitely be back – not just for the burgers, but also for the truly lovely atmosphere! Kudos to the team and the design – it makes all the difference.

There were 6 orders waiting and 5 of the employees were just standing, talking and laughing. I waited more than 10 min even though there were more employees on shift than customers waiting. And then our order was wrong 🙄

The McDonald’s on Defreggerweg in Regensburg recently pleasantly surprised us. It's been a while since we've enjoyed such fresh and well-prepared food here. The burgers were juicy, the fries were perfectly crispy and the drinks were refreshing – simply a pleasure. Even though some of the tables were a bit dirty, we generously overlooked this due to the quality of the food. It was a welcome change to finally have such fresh and tasty meals again. Overall, a pleasant visit that definitely leaves you wanting more.

Food poisoning!!! I bought a cappuccino today at 4:30 p.m. which my husband and I drank and 2 hours later me and my husband started having symptoms, vomiting and all that great stuff.

When I asked if they could just give us the pattie instead of the hamburger, the answer was 'NO!' - but due to gluten intolerance, my husband can no longer eat it when the bread comes. Was there the second time around the morning hours, after work. I ordered something to take away both times. The first time I ordered a Royal Ts hamburger was missing and the second time I ordered 9 chicken nuggests. Logically, you only notice this at home. This McDonald's looks like a comfortable home. 🥰 Today, January 11, 1995 my husband and I went on our first date starting as employees on McDonald's. Now we celebrate 30 years together. We have visited McDonald's in many countries, states, and towns. It seems fitting for us to have a Sundae as a continuation of our adventures through many more years. There is dissociative amnesia here in the branch! Something is constantly being forgotten or entire orders are mixed up. Even when you make a complaint, you forget something. The pick-up system also works less and less often, so you have to explain things for minutes before someone gets it. It is noticeable that the Mc Chicken is becoming flatter and the small side salad and the dressing have been reduced. The Big Mac consists only of sauce and rolls. Crispy chicken has also somehow shrunk. We love it
