a very nice evening in a great atmosphere with very good food and service, highly recommended, we would be happy to come back

We were there on March 12th. in the “WEINBAR”. We were given a table that later had no space for 2 large plates, two small ones and the drinks. When we asked for an open sparkling wine as an aperitif, the serving lady offered us a sparkling wine. When we asked where from, we received no answer. In the meantime we had received a bottle of water for 9.50. In the tray wine list we then found a white Trento Doc from Cesarini for €79.xx (retail price €19.xx). The lady then abused the capsule over the agraffe and poured us a drink without tasting it. By the way, wine bottles at the next table also suffered from this lady's cruel opening ceremony. A service employee had now brought us olive oil. The lady said it was from Sicily. Our inquiry to the producer remained unanswered. A young man helped: Toscana (Arezzo). That's how it tasted too. Conclusion: A total failure for a WINE BAR. But the food (Vongole and Salsiccia) was good.

Very expensive for nothing!!! A bowl of raw arugula salad and two almost raw king prawns on an extra huge plate...at totally overpriced prices. Not even a little hungry! I don't know if that's common in Hamburg, but that's where I celebrate my home meal!!!

We had dinner here last week. Food and wine were excellent. At the end we treated ourselves to a tiramisu (also very tasty) and 2 espressos. After we left the restaurant we realized that we had paid over 15 euros for the two espressos. We find that very outrageous, especially because the espressos weren't even good and weren't hot enough either. It's a shame, unfortunately that really overshadowed the overall impression. However, to our advantage, they had forgotten to charge for the bottle of water ;-)

Super cozy, great atmosphere and good food

To start, I ordered a pizza with squid, my friend ordered a pizza with ham. I usually got squid while my friend just got ham. The service was very incompetent, because in the end the waiter tried to explain his mistake by saying that the pizza was called something different on the menu (proper name), but he didn't add that the octopus he brought me was also called something different. The boss/manager was very smart and solved our problem

Our visit to this renowned restaurant was supposed to be a special evening, especially since my fiancée urgently needed a break due to her health situation. Unfortunately, the entire evening was ruined by a chain of mishaps and unprofessional service. We ordered two pizzas – one San Daniele and one with seafood. But what we were served did not meet our expectations in any way: instead of pizzas, we only received a meager portion of ham and a separate plate of shrimp and potatoes. Furthermore, the cappuccino my colleague had ordered simply wasn't brought, even after asking several times. When we asked the waiter about it, we were fobbed off with a rude answer: “I'm sorry there was a misunderstanding, but the food is on the table now, what should I do?” Such an indifferent attitude is in you Restaurant that presents itself as upscale and exclusive is simply unacceptable. After several unsuccessful attempts to find a solution, we decided to leave the restaurant. My fiancée was so emotionally upset by the unnecessary stress that she burst into tears. At that moment we just wanted to pay for what we had actually consumed and leave the restaurant as quickly as possible. Despite the overall disappointment, we ended up only being charged for the bruschetta, two bottles of water and a wheat beer, which was at least fair since we didn't touch the main courses. Nevertheless, the entire process completely ruined our evening - an evening that was supposed to bring my fiancée some relief and peace. Although this may have been an isolated incident, I cannot easily overlook this experience in a restaurant that caters to an exclusive and discerning clientele. The service was far below the expectations one would have at such an establishment. Unfortunately, all I can do is rate the restaurant with one star.

Great food, great service and nice ambience

A popular location in Hamburg Eppendorf. It used to be expensive, but many of the more stable prices now make everything “worth the price”. The open terrace and the friendly service, who are happy to offer to pack up uneaten food, are very good. Minimal deductions only because my guest remembers nothing particularly striking about the dishes at this business lunch.

I do not recommend this place. As soon as you arrive, you are forced to order quickly to free up the table as quickly as possible. We came to taste a specific menu linked to the Schlemmer Sommer and we were disappointed. The main course we wanted was to consist of fried squid with pea puree, lemon butter sauce and tomato ragout. Finally, we were treated to calamari on a few salad leaves without sauce. The waiter tried to explain to us that it was an old menu... The menu we came for was offered from June 15 to August 31. Yesterday was August 30.... Look for the error. For our starter, the Buratta was not worthy of an Italian restaurant. Rewe's is much better. The service was long and after waiting 30 minutes for our dessert we asked for the bill. What a surprise the bread was paid for. And the bottle of still water costs the modest sum of €9.50. The value for money is not there. Obviously I won't come back.

You can feel italian soul in this place. Great wine selection. About food: antipasti was better than main courses but still everything was testy.

What a wonderful hostess at lunchtime on July 23rd, 24! Such an authentically warm and competent lady who made the equally perfect menu including drinks for my daughter and me a spontaneously chosen, but all the more special enjoyment experience! Thanks for that ! We are absolutely thrilled!!!

Sitting outside in the evening can be quite nice, as long as you don't get assigned to one of the middle tables, where there is another table for two very close to it. Inside, space is even more limited, which results in little privacy. An even bigger subjective problem is the food and drink offering, which doesn't offer anything particularly appealing to vegetarians. Things look even worse for vegans, as well as for people who don't consume alcohol. Accordingly, the evening could not really be enjoyed. It's a shame, because traditional Italian cuisine has a wide range of really great vegetarian and vegan dishes. The dessert was the only bright spot and the highlight.

Overwhelmed service, food (pasta was ok) before the wine, no white champagne by the glass, no zero dosage by the bottle (everything was just 'out'), three crumbs of cheese plate with two grapes 20 euros and the bread that was left out without being asked charged extra. Sorry. This is simply not a good wine bar...

Italy in the middle of Hamburg. Very friendly reception. Tables are available both indoors and in the protected outdoor area. The cellar with Italian charm is always attentive and knows its wine list. The dishes focus on Italian classics that come to the table in very good quality. A place to linger and enjoy. Arrive by taxi as parking in the area is difficult.

Went here spontaneously for the evening. The name sounded great. The manager/owner was very friendly and personable (the man with the white hair and glasses). The service employee we encountered was uninviting, stoic and seemed unfriendly. The whole evening he seemed very unhappy that I had come to the store with my wife (We are the only foreigners/southerners, surrounded by Germans). Twice I was dissatisfied with the food or drink and people tried to dismiss the whole thing (e.g. the burrata was bad). In the end the gentleman with the white hair and the glasses came to meet me, but I felt like I had to fight for it, he was very unfriendly to the customer.

Die Atmosphäre ist gut inklusive entspannter Hintergrundmusik, die Lage auch. Dafür 2 von 5 Sternen. Das Essen war völlig überteuert für Geschmack und Zutaten, das kriege ich Zuhause besser hin. Der Hauswein war relativ schlecht, und er wurde mit einem Kork-Rest eingeschenkt, was in einer Weinbar auffallen sollte. Es ist ein zu kleines Weinkartenagebot für eine Weinbar. Der Kellner hat sich das Tringelt selbst festgelegt und zwar über 10%, ich musste ihn fragen wie er auf den Betrag kommt, eine unangenehme Situation aushalten und es auf die 8% korrigieren, die ich bereit war zu geben. Ich werde nicht wieder kommen, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sowohl für Service als auch Verköstigungs-Qualität lediglich Eppendorf-Anpassung, jedoch in Realität unangemessen.

The atmosphere is good including relaxed background music, as is the location. 2 out of 5 stars for that. I can't recommend the rest: 1. The food was completely overpriced for the taste and ingredients, I can do it better at home. 2. The house wine was relatively poor, and it was poured with a cork residue, which should be noticeable in a wine bar. It's too small a wine list for a wine bar. 3. The waiter interrupted us for 5 minutes in the middle of our dinner with some stories about his training and I wonder why, but that's not a bad thing, just slightly unqualified, but then he rudely set the tip himself and it was over 10% , I had to ask him how he came up with the amount, endure an unpleasant situation and correct it to the 8% that I was willing to give, he showed no signs afterwards that he wanted to thank you for the tip or apologize for the situation. I won't come back, the price-performance ratio is just an Eppendorf adjustment for both service and food quality, but in reality it's inadequate.

From entering to leaving the restaurant there was a feel-good factor in a cozy atmosphere. Food, drinks, service at the highest level paired with warm friendliness. The anticipation of the next visit makes you happy!

We have been guests at the Poletto Winebar several times because they serve delicious Italian food and good wine. The service staff are also consistently very nice and competent. But yesterday everything was different. After 3 hours we still hadn't been served a main course, while around us the guests who arrived after us were served their food, paid and left again. Only we were ignored by the kitchen. I just felt sorry for our waiter. He became increasingly distressed, apologizing to us and assuring us that our meal would be next. Just to bring food to another table again. He then spoke directly to Mr. Poletto about our problem, but he just shrugged his shoulders and didn't apologize to us. When we spoke to him, his partner, Mr. Francia, denied his responsibility and preferred to go to another table to toast with the guests. We then left, paid for what we had eaten up to that point and cooked some pasta at home. Conclusion: If the restaurant is full, it's better not to go. We may use the lunch menu again, but never again on Saturday evenings. To be clear, the best service people are the poorest creatures when management lacks leadership and organization.

On Sunday evening we went to Poletto's wine bar. Very nice atmosphere, typical wine bar, brilliant wine selection, delicious menu and overall a welcoming atmosphere. The attentive service recommended a delicious starter - calamaretti on a lentil top! Afterwards we had pasta from the Parmesan wheel with truffles. A classic, but deliciously prepared here!

Very nice Italian shop. You can definitely eat very well here too. But we were only there briefly for a wine. Great service, great wine. I can only recommend this store.

A place that could become a second living room. The food is down-to-earth and really tasty, you should definitely try the cake stand. The wine list meets most requirements and invites you to discover, especially when it comes to Italy. But the heart of the bar is the service team and its wonderful manager. These people make you feel welcome and make every evening a really good evening.

Remigio Poletto und sein Team sind allerbeste Gastgeber. Der Service ist aufmerksam, sie können auch sehr gut beraten zu den Speisen, die phanastisch zu den Weinen passen und die Weine als auch der Umfang des Weinkellers sind ein Traum. Ich bin begeistert und gehe regelmäßig in die Poletto Winebar Eppendorf!!! Macht weiter so.

seit Jahren, unser Lieblingsrestaurant, persönliche Begrüßung durch Remigio oder Luigi, sehr netter, kompetenter und aufmerksamer Service, immer eine gute Stimmung. Sehr gute und ausgewählte Weine.

Wir waren heute Abend mal wieder in Polettos Winebar, wurden am Eingang herzlich vom Inhaber Remigio begrüßt. Der Service von Pasquale war professionell und freundlich, die Weinempfehlung, ein Torrione Petrolo, genau unser Geschmack. Wir hatten Pasta Salsiccia und Pizza mit San Daniele Schinken. Beide Gerichte waren frisch, heiß und lecker. Wir kommen bald wieder.

Super schönen Abend dort verbracht

Familie Anderson hatte eine Einladung (von einem guten Freund, danke Claus) hier und war zum ersten Mal da. Wir fühlten uns an diesem Sonnabend (ab 17:30 Uhr bis 20:30 Uhr) wohl und waren mit dem sehr guten Service zufrieden. Das Essen war perfekt, die Getränkeauswahl (W-Wein, Wasser, Apfelschorle, Whiskey 18 Jahre, Grappa, Espresso) sehr gut. Es war zu unserer Zeit enspannt besucht, nicht komplett voll und wir hatten eine ruhige, schöne Atmosphäre. Gern kommen wir wieder! Danke für die Gastfreundschaft!

Wir hatten uns sehr darauf gefreut, endlich mal wieder einen gemütlichen Abend in Polettos Winebar zu verbringen, die Atmosphäre ist sehr schön und läd zum Verweilen ein. Leider haben wir diesmal direkt mehrere unschöne Erfahrungen gemacht: die Kellner mischten sich bei jeder Gelegenheit in unsere Gespräche ein und kommentierten alle Themen, die in unserer Gruppe besprochen wurden. Darüber hinaus waren die Trüffel-Nudeln im Parmesanlaib (für 34,50€!!!) geschmacksneutral und weichgekocht und zu allem Überfluss bekamen wir eine Rechnung, auf der ein Mineralwasser zu viel abgerechnet war. Als wir den Kellner darauf aufmerksam machten sagte er nur "Ihr sollt ja nur so viel zahlen, wie ihr auch wirklich konsumiert habt!" - keine Entschuldigung oder ähnliches sondern pure Arroganz... Auch wenn wir früher sehr gerne in Polettos Winebar gegangen sind, müssen wir diese sehr schlechte Erfahrung erst einmal verdauen.

Das Ambiente war von angenehmer Natur, wenn gleich auch die Tische ein wenig dicht beieinander standen. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht, wobei viele Stammgäste zu sein schienen. Tischbestellung ist hier ratsam. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und kompetent. Das Vitello Tonnato war sehr schmackhaft und kam seiner piemontischen Herkunft sehr nahe. Die Antipasti di Verdure waren ausgezeichnet und harmonierten sehr gut mit dem gereichten Brot. Die Spaghetti Chitarra mit schwarzen Trüffeln waren zwar schmackhaft, aber die Nudeln waren zu weich und ein wenig zu dick. Dafür waren die Kalbsbäckchen exelent in Geschack, Konsistenz und Zartheit. Besser geht es eigentlich nicht. Auch der Wein fügte sich gut in das Ganze ein. Das hat natürlich auch seinen Preis. Insgesamt war dieses Restaurant den Besuch wert.

Obwohl wir eine Bestätigung unserer Reservierung zum Mittagessen am 3. Oktober 2022 ( Tag der Deutschen Einheit ) hatten , standen wir an diesem Tag vor verschlossenen Türen. Wir blieben ohne Information.

In der Erwartung auf sehr gute Küche,wurden wir maßlos enttäuscht.Dem Servie war es nicht möglich 2 Vorspeisen zeitgleich zu servieren.DER SERVIE HAT SICH ENTSCHULDIGT. Die Bruschetta für über € 16(3Scheiben) ist ein absoluter Witz.Völlig überteuert und qualitativ nicht besser wie beim Italiener(€6,50) um die Ecke.Die bestellte Restpizza,kam lauwarm auf den Tisch.Daraufhin wurde sie nochmal in den Ofen geschoben,was ihr dann den Rest gegeben hat.Jetzt war es keine Pizza mehr,sondern eine Gummischeibe.Sollte ein Koch eigentlich wissen.Meine Frau hat das Relikt dann stehen lassen.DER SERVICE HAT SICH ENTSCHULDIGT.Die Tagliatelle mit Pfifferlingen war OK,aber auch nicht herausragend.Nachdem wir unseren Unmut geäußert haben,wurde ein 2 Service intruiert,zufällig,doch mal nachzufragen,ob wir zufrieden waren.Nach unser negativen Aussage,wurden wir jovial zu einem Grappa eingeladen,den wir frustbedingt annahmen.Nach erstellung der Rechnung,mit dem vollen Preis für die Gummischeibe,HAT SICH DER SERVICE MAL WIEDER ENTSCHULDIGT.Resumee:Hier wird preislich ein hohes Niveau vorgegaukelt,welches auch nicht ansatzweise gehalten werden kann.Wir hätten nicht gedacht,das Frau Poletto für dieses Niveau Ihren Namen hergibt

Egal ob nur auf ein Glas Wein, ein Abendessen oder ein besonderer Anlass - hier wird man vom Service und den Inhabern Remigio und Luigi immer freundlich empfangen und extrem zuvorkommend bedient. Die Etageren mit Aufschnitt-Variationen sind ein Must. Die Piadina mit Trüffel ist einfach nur köstlich. Das Essen ist insgesamt immer hervorragend und seinen Preis wert. Hier kann man den Abend genießen und entspannen.

Eher per Zufall sind wir zur Mittagszeit hier vorbei gekommen und wurden mit gutem Service, feinem Essen und Freundlichkeit bedient! Immer wieder gern

Sehr freundlicher Service, sehr gute Küche, schmackhaft, optisch schön angerichtet, schöne Location. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend.

Als erstes muss man erwähnen dass die Bedienung, die Ambiente und die Weine sehr gut sind. Das Essen leider nicht. - Pasta mit Aubergine, viel zu gesalzen, pampig, zu kurz geschmorte Zwiebeln darin und der geriebene Käse oben drauf 100 pro aus der Tüte. - Pizza, ok aber nicht besonders - Trüffelnudeln zu ölig, kaum Geschmack an den Trüffeln. - Aus der Abendkarte sowas wie Spareribs. Sehr spartanisch. Geschmorte Rippchen in Zwiebel-Wein Soße. Mit Polenta ohne Geschmack daneben. Ich gehe davon aus, der Koch hat keine Leidenschaft zur italienischen Küche besitzt. Für diese Preise nicht akzeptabel. Sehr Schade!

Aufmerksamer netter u. unkomplizierter Service. Essen war fantastisch! Die Sosse zum Fisch war endlich mal richtig gut, so wie ich es aus Norditalien kenne.

Sehr netter Empfang mit Platzierung, der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Antipasti , ein üppiges Vitello, Tunasteack und Kalbskotelette waren handwerklich gut zubereitet. Bei den Spaghetti mit Pfifferlingen ruhig mehr Mut zum würzen. Es wurde ein sommerlicher Aperitif empfohlen und wir hatten einen super Rosé Wein getrunken. Ein gelungener Abend. Man sollte hier keine neue italienische Küche erwarten, man sitzt auf einer sehr gepflegten Terrasse. Gerne öfters

The restaurant was surprisingly very basic with totally average food... we ordered pumpkin soup which was lovely however truffle past and pizza left us very disappointed. On top everything we asked for a jug of tap water to go along with our wine and guess what! They charged us 5 euros for that :) a little too cheeky for that in my opinion for an average food.

Wir waren heute Mittag zum Lunch im Poletto. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und nett. Leider war das Restaurant nicht geheizt. Man sollte sich einen Pullover mitnehmen. Sowohl die Pasta Scampi als auch die Pizza waren sehr gut.

Pierwsza nasza wizyta w tej restauracji i podejrzewam że nie ostatnia! Na przystawkę zamówiliśmy Carpaccio z Breasoli!!! Super, pierwszy raz jedliśmy takie carpaccio. Jako danie główne wzięliśmy antrykot z pomidorami, rukolą i parmezanem oraz spaghetti „Chitarra” z parmezanem i czarnymi truflami. Antrykot półkrwisty, pyszny, mięso miękkie! Spaghetti al dente 👍, z dużą ilością trufli 👍 Białe wino również bardzo dobre!! Do tego fajne miejsce, super obsługa! Polecamy i pewnie sami odwiedzimy jeszcze tą restauracje!!!

Wir waren zum Abendessen und einer Weinprobe dort, und das Essen und die Weine waren ganz hervorragend, Weine gab es aus dem Valpolicella vom Weingut Tedeschi, Luigi und Herr Ricardo Tedeschi haben uns verwöhnt und viele Informationen gegeben
