Very nice people, great food, gladly again.

In my opinion, not offering card payments is unacceptable in this day and age. Uniform work clothing would also look good on the service staff.

Delicious pizza, delicious salad and friendly service. No EC payment possible, but ATM is nearby.

The food is sold differently by employees and false hopes were raised. When confronted with the fact that my food wasn't what I expected, the plate was taken out of my hand and told that if I wanted that, I would have to pay extra again. Very unfriendly staff, the shop is next to a construction site, homeless people sleep nearby, and the food is mediocre at best! I can only strongly advise against a visit!!!

I have never eaten so badly at an Italian restaurant. The "spaghetti aglio olio" has neither salt nor bone blue, no chili and sunflowers instead of olive oil. The Ajoli was a completely tasteless sauce with herbs. And, surprise, the pizza tasted really bad. My call was responded to sloppily and unresponsively.

We were there spontaneously with a larger group. Food was great, service too, everyone was very friendly and gave us a great evening!

Perfect romantic atmosphere, really good wine, nice Italian vibe and cute personal. Music is perfect, not too loud so you can speak. Saved the spot

The noodles were inedible. Pizza ok. We reserved a table on the side but got another one where it was very cold and warm in the middle... the service was ok with grappa at the end but that didn't make the bad food any better. Never again… a shame for good Italians. The only positive thing is the delicious house wine…

1. Service was good for the most part. The man was attentive, nice and friendly, but it was only at the end when paying that he was told that you can only pay in cash. But we also got a drink in return. 2. The atmosphere was pleasant but also very cramped. To me it looked like they wanted to squeeze as many tables in there as possible. 3. The food: My mother and my little brother both had a pizza that was solid, nothing special, but I had ravioli with truffles and a mushroom cream and I have to say that as a cook it hurt me to see how it was prepared. The ravioli were simply “slapped” carelessly onto a plate. But the tiramisu, on the other hand, was just okay 4. Overall it was okay but underwhelming. It felt like I was eating tk goods. 5. Price performance: If I could give stars for it, I would give it 2 stars.

Service was unfriendly and inattentive - you can only pay in cash (they only tell you when you pay) and there is mold in the toilets in the basement

Sitting here right now, are in transit and, as always, are just on the chance to find something good to eat and apparently a little Christmas moment today on Boxing Day: this is the unbelievably favorite shop with the best pizza ever!! ! Our little one (3 years old) was treated so sweetly and so were we - the greatest people here! And then the food too - we'll come back here. And how cute are the red and white tablecloths. Best music. Aaaww man - we're in love!

Price/performance fits. We thought pizza was very good, cocktails weren't that great. We spontaneously found a place with 5 people at the weekend and the service was great.

Located in an alternative part of the city, but at a price level like that of a noble Italian restaurant! The taste of the food is okay, which is not enough given prices of up to €20 for a pizza. Pasta also very expensive for small quantities. The antipasti plate contained two slices of zucchini, two eggplants, a slice of salami and a slice of ham, two olives and not much else for two people. Approx. 80g for €17.50. Quite a rip off. Bill for four people: Antipasti plate for 2 and everyone a pizza 140 €!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was then clear to me why the store was so empty. Sanitary and hygiene rather underground.

Another insider tip, the best pizza in the area. Nice relaxed people, everything fits. I absolutely cannot understand the bad reviews. You have to try it

Top!!! As someone who eats (too) much pizza, I highly recommend it. The pizza is one of the best you can get in Hamburg... and for a ridiculous 12 euros. Since the first visit, pizza on the Schanze has only been available here.

The pizza is an experience - the service is a dream - there were 5 of us here on a Sunday - Jörgen served us!

Extremely mediocre pizza and bruschetta was underwhelming. Some of the ingredients weren't particularly tasty. Service was quite OK. OK in an emergency, if you'd rather go out for pizza, then there are much better alternatives.

We and other customers were sent away because we only ordered drinks and no food. Our drinks were brought to the table with the words “did you forget to order food?” to which I replied, puzzled, that we just wanted a quick drink. Our drinks were then taken back and we were asked to leave. This was also done with a couple next door. The waiter said he asked me when I came in if we wanted to eat too, but he DID NOT. With us you would have made almost €20 + tip in half an hour. impudence.

The boss of this restaurant probably doesn't pay salary because the staff is rude and I want to get a tip

As a guest, you shouldn't come too thirsty - there is a lot of concentration on feeding the newly arrived guests, then it seems as if the other tables (outside) are forgotten and your own break is more important. With the brilliant location, a summery piazza in the north, much more sales could be achieved. Fortunately, I didn't need the train-like toilet described in many reviews. I liked the lasagna.

Very good pizza with good price-performance ratio. The toppings on the salami pizza were outstanding! The staff with the four young men were very friendly, but the toilets are an imposition.

Very cozy place and delicious food

Once and never again. We were there as a group and after our visit we didn't feel valued as customers at all. One dish was very oversalted (and I say that as someone who tried the dish as an outsider). We were also charged for two bottles of wine at the end, which we hadn't ordered. Only after we loudly insisted that we only pay for the wine we had ordered did we get the difference back without a word. Not recommended, which is also reflected in other reviews here.

Dirt.. We were here to watch football and strangers were simply sat at the table without asking first. The service (especially one particular guy) was terrible. You had to ask a second time for every order until it finally came and our dip was completely forgotten after the second time. When we paid, all the money was simply taken without giving any change back. A pity. Not again.

First of all, I would like to say that this review reflects my own taste. I just found the pizza bland and tasteless. Even the pepper or salt that was at the table couldn't give the pizza any flavor. I was full but wouldn't visit this place again. Service was quick. The toilet resembles a train station toilet. Really disgusting

Food was okay. But the sanitary facilities were so dirty that I felt completely different... I've never experienced anything like that!

A really cool Italian host for the European Championships! Great pizza, fresh salad, liqueur on the house. That's how hospitality works! Experienced a great Germany game here, with a lot of humor from the host (confetti cannons when the goal was shot) and surprisingly fast service. Remarkable! Mille Gracie!

We only had a drink here - luckily - at the end we saw the toilet - old (!) dirt, cobwebs, ... almost without words for a restaurant, except that you can't trust hygiene in other areas can't and for us never go here again!

Food very good, staff friendly, toilets AWESOME. Unbelievable, the layer of dust on the women's toilets shows that they haven't been cleaned for months. No toilet paper. Flush cover missing. Outrageous. So I wouldn't come back.

Unfortunately they only accept cash payments there. We were there for dinner with 2 couples. And to pay individually you have to come to the counter. Only full payment would have been possible at the table. I can print out the receipt and then on it Check off the table who pays what.

Wir haben es auch dieses Jahr nicht versäumt unsere Lieblings-Pizzeria in Hamburg zu besuchen. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft. Scheinbar hat man uns gleich als Wiederholungstäter erkannt, obwohl wir doch eigentlich ein Dutzendgesicht haben und nur einmal im Jahr in Hamburg weilen. Was soll ich sagen … klasse wie immer, ob Mittagstisch oder regulär, einfach zu empfehlen. Übrigens ist ein guter Wein auch zu erschwinglichen Preisen zu haben. Danke und liebe Grüße ans Il Camino!

The location of the pizzeria is simply great. You have a wide choice in the menu and the cellars are very friendly. However, we waited a long time for someone to take our order. The pizzas were normal for the prices, but not special. We paid around €40 (beer, lemonade, pizza and calzone)

I'm 30 years old and today, for the first time, I let a delivery service come here again to pick up the food... A lasagne for 13 euros is a disgrace…..inedible…. Pasta for 14 euros with a bit of cheese sauce on top is inedible... Broccoli is great, absolutely sickening 🤮 never again If I could I would give no star at all

We each had a pizza and were very impressed. Pizza comes fresh from the wood-fired oven and is well topped. The price-performance is good and the employees are very friendly. Can only be recommended.

I was in the café next door (part of the restaurant) and the little Albanian who works there apparently doesn't get enough tips. A little sunshine everyone goes crazy and wants to sit outside! Well, I'm not going there anymore.

Super tasty pizza and really nice service staff. You feel a bit like you're with the godfather. But everything is nice and relaxed. Great atmosphere. I'd love to come by again.

The toilets are a disgrace! A mix of S-Bahn toilets and Dixi toilets at a rock festival. Nobody has cleaned there for the last 10 years. I don't even want to know what the kitchen looks like. The pizza was disgusting. If you don't want to catch something, don't eat there. However, the waiters were quite friendly.

The fishless fish soup was only with frozen seafood and a tiger prawn, from which the intestines were not removed (not with small prawns either). Not well cooked or seasoned, with additional salt it was somewhat edible. My lasagna was a little better than frozen, but the sauce and cheese were tasteless. Even the pizzas, which looked good at first, were absolutely tasteless. Even the free bread with dip as a “greeting from the kitchen” doesn’t help to overlook the inattentive service. Of course, at this restaurant you don't ask how the food was when you clear away the half-full plates. I assume they know it themselves. I don't have enough time to explain the conditions in the toilets/in the corridor to the toilets any further.

We were shooed away even though we wanted to have a drink, which was a shame

The food was good, but unfortunately the service was disgraceful. We had our table right next to the food counter. After I got my food, my friend's food was available at the food counter shortly afterwards. It sat there untouched for almost 10 minutes while our waitress walked past it at least 5 times. Even ringing the bell several times from the kitchen staff didn't change anything. Finally, after 10 minutes, I had enough and brought the food to our table myself. When I wanted to pay, I refused to leave a tip in response to this poor “service”. What the service only responds to is “Why so little?” was acknowledged. To literally demand a tip from guests for such poor service is really unrivaled in terms of audacity….

The cappuccino and the stone oven pizza were very tasty. The service is very good.

Food was OK. Service was bad. We had to wait a long time until someone took care of us. In general, the waiters didn't think it was necessary to continue serving us. In the end they overcharged us by €10. Unfortunately we were too stupid not to notice and complain in time.

Very great and cozy place. Not my first time there but as always felt very comfortable, and the staff was very understandable and easy going. The food was delicious and amazing, especially that mix of different fish fillets I had this time which pushed me to give this review :)...mmmmmm amazing! Will definitely go there again, as also the rest of the menu is to be remembered, especially relatively to the affordable and fair price you pay!

Were here with a group, the others had ordered svhon when I joined, otherwise I would be out again! Unfortunately it's so dirty here. The food, pizza, bruscetta surprisingly tasty. But please, dear Il Cammino team, clean and overhaul your paramedic systems!

Excellent service and delicious food

Sehr unfreundliche Bedienung! Waren als kleine Gruppe da und wurden aus dem nichts plötzlich gezwungen schon zu zahlen. Auf die Frage ob wir auch gleich zahlen können da grade 2 auf dem Klo waren wurde nur in einem unfreundlich Ton gesagt né das muss jetzt gemacht werden und kein wenn und aber… auf die Frage wieso kam nur die Antwort das sie gleich schließen würden… komisch nur das es erst 22 Uhr war und anscheinend nur unseren Tisch betraf…. Wir werden dort sicherlich nicht mehr hingehen!!

Wir waren das erste mal in dem Restaurant. Wir sind sehr nett begrüßt worden und der Kellner war sehr freundlich. Das Essen hat uns positiv überrascht. Es war einfach aber sehr schmackhaft. Jetzt aber zum Negativen. Um auf die Toilette zu gehen musste man in den Keller steigen. Der Treppenaufgang war schon sehr schmutzig. Die Toiletten waren kaputt und verdreckt. So etwas habe ich in einem Restaurant noch nie gesehen. Aufgrund der Tatsache würde ich dort nicht mehr Essen gehen.

Ich bin Tourist und kam nach Il Camino und hatte eine tolle Zeit. Ich wurde sehr gut empfangen an einem Ort voller Atmosphäre und wundervollen Menschen, der Service war sehr schnell, ich habe eine Pizza probiert und sie war sehr lecker, das werde ich tun geh nochmal😍😍

I celebrated my birthday in Il Cammino with around 30 friends. The staff was very helpful and collaborative even though I had many changes in the participation list. We had a long table in the back side of the restaurant which gave us some privacy. The food was also great which made it a perfect birthday party location/restaurant🥳

Spontaner Besuch. Das Restaurant war komplett voll, wir bekamen trotzdem noch einen Platz. Es war laut und eng aber trotzdem sehr nett. Schneller aufmerksamer Service. Essen war sehr gut. Immer wieder einen Besuch wert.

Egal ob in der Mittagspause, mit Freunden oder der Familie. Essen ist immer lecker, die Kellner immer freundlich und jeder Extrawunsch wird erfüllt. Der Laden ist ein wenig veraltet aber so stell ich mir einen Italiener vor.

Die Pizza war sehr lecker, die Bedienung nett, aber nachdem wir fertig waren mit essen, kam auch nach längerer Zeit Niemand an den Tisch um abzuräumen oder um zu fragen, ob wir noch etwas bestellen möchten. Die Damentoiletten sind eine Zumutung, runtergekommen und recht dreckig.

Super voll, super laur. Service sehr nett, Getränke kamen recht schnell. Essen zusammen gebracht mit etwas Chaos. (waren ca 10 Leute) soweit Okay. Hatte auch allen geschmeckt. ABER mein Funghi Pizza hatte vielleicht 3 geschnitte Champignons drauf. So viel hatten alle anderen Pizzen auch. Ist allerdings hier der Hauptbelag! Und das für knapp 11 Euro! Einem anderen Gast wurde ein bereits angefangenes Gericht unter der Gabel wieder weggenommen um sie dann halbiert zurück zu bringen. Wer bekam denn den Rest?(war ne Fischplatte für 2 und war aber nur für 1 Person bestellt) unmöglich sowas! Dann sind war die Damentoilette derart unmöglich und verdreckt, dass es mir den Appetit geraubt hatte. Für ein Restaurant ein Unding. Am Ende haben 3 Servicekräfte mitbekommen, dass ich meinen Teil bezahlt hatte, aber das wurde nicht korrekt ausgebucht, so dass ich Stunden später von noch gebliebenen Gästen gefragt wurde, ob ich bezahlt habe. Alles im allen. Ich gehe da nicht mehr hin.

Vor dem Essen würde uns versichert, dass wir mit Karte zahlen können. Nach dem Essen wurde dann trotzdem zunächst Bargeld verlangt.

Die Carbonara war durchaus schmackhaft, aber beim Bestellen des „kleinen Bieres“ bekam man dann 0,5l hingestellt mit dem Hinweis dass dies ein kleines sei. Fanden wir schon frech. Das was aber wirklich gar nicht geht sind die schmutzigen WCs. Weil uns die Frechheit mit dem Bier und die Toiletten den Besuch verhagelt haben, holen die Nudeln es nicht mehr raus. Der Preis für die „kleinen Biere“ war zudem ganz schön happig.
