Excellent pizzas with a thin, crispy crust and delicious toppings. Very friendly service. We'll be back.

The tuna pizza was perfect and served quickly. The salad was fresh and tasty. The server was friendly and prompt.

We were there with a large group, but I ordered four more takeaways afterward! Unfortunately, I discovered at home that out of four meals, two of them weren't even a child's portion, and the second portion was four whole ravioli with spinach, which was a no-go, for €15, especially since my neighbor had the same meal before, so I knew how big her portion was supposed to be! I felt cheated! Unfortunately, it takes me half an hour to get to Mama's, so I didn't go there in person again!

Super fast from ordering to the food being served. Super tasty and super friendly service. Really, all in all, top-notch!

I had lunch at this restaurant with my daughter. We asked for gluten-free options since we both have celiac disease, and they recommended a pizza. We were served by four different waiters, all of whom forgot our order several times; none of them knew what we had ordered or who took the order... The pizza finally arrived after several minutes, and they reconfirmed (after asking each other) that it was gluten-free. Well, it wasn't... we had severe symptoms of gluten poisoning. I don't recommend this restaurant, nor will I ever return.

We were there in a group of five and were able to sit down without a reservation. The food was delicious and the service very friendly. The portion of penne could have been a bit larger, but that wasn't too much of a problem. The restaurant offers several vegan options, which is very good.

We were there with 14 people and 3 dogs. The staff was super friendly, the food was delicious and unique. For students, there's a set menu, pizza, and a drink for €14.50. Really great, we'd love to go back! The location was also very nice, not too noisy, surrounded by greenery and nice shops.

When we arrived at the restaurant, there were hardly any guests (it was still early in the evening). After 15 minutes, our drinks order was taken, and we also ordered our food, including an appetizer. After 10 minutes, the food was promptly served, including the appetizer!? ... so unprofessional... A brief apology from the waiter, and then no one was to be seen. Four ladies were having a very animated conversation behind the counter. No waitresses. The main course had been sitting on the table the whole time, cooling down. Unfortunately, the pasta dish wasn't seasoned at all. What a shame! I had to leave the appetizer plate at the next table myself to make room for the main course. The pizza was delicious, as was the appetizer. Unfortunately, not a single waitress checked whether everything was OK during the meal. We had to communicate behind the counter. So we only noticed the problem shortly before paying. As compensation, we weren't charged for the starter, and a different server apologized. It would have been a shift change...? In our experience, this fast-food restaurant isn't a place for casual dining. The service was completely lacking, even though there were really only a few customers. I was blinded by other people's reviews. What a shame! For me, one visit to the Mama Trattoria chain is a one-time thing and never again.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a good and extensive menu. However, the execution of these dishes still needs a lot of improvement. (Especially the carbonara, which tasted 99% like wine.) What distracted from the poor food, however, was the nice (not much older) waiter. He was very friendly and handled the criticism well (please give him a raise!!!!!!)

Worst ordering experience i have ever had a complete waste of time you can learn a new skill by the time you get to order, even though it isn't that full we have been sitting down for 1 hour in total but neither we got our food we didnt even got bread never ever coming here i would rather starve the next time i think about eating out here

A simple, casual, and cozy pizzeria with a lovely outdoor area and an appealing menu where everyone should find something to suit their taste. I was happy to be able to choose between more than three vegan dishes, all of which sounded tempting. The portion sizes are generous, both for the pizzas and pasta dishes. The staff is very friendly and happy to pack extras to take home. I can well imagine going back here on my next visit to Hamburg.

I ordered a lemonade, but was served an aperitif. When I pointed this out, all I got was the response that an aperitif isn't served in a wine glass. A statement that makes absolutely no sense to me, because these days, even non-alcoholic drinks are often served in wine glasses. The drink was pink in color and didn't taste of alcohol, which makes it all the more difficult to properly classify it. This is especially fatal for pregnant, breastfeeding, or recovering alcoholics. The fact that I was then asked to pay for this drink and received no apology was very disappointing. The service was also poor. There were five of us at the table, but only two people ate – yet five sets of cutlery were distributed. This shows that little thought was put into it. Overall, the service staff definitely needed training in basic hospitality and attentiveness. We had to go in one by one and ask for our bills. The food itself, unfortunately, was only mediocre. For me, it was definitely my first and last visit.

Overall, a very mediocre experience. The pizza was quite small and rather uninspired. The dough was boring, like something from Dr. Oetker. The other dishes were also rather bland. We had two bowls and a salad. The "goat cheese" tasted like ordinary sheep's cheese. A shame. Overall, underwhelming. The service was okay.

You can find great gluten-free, low-carb, and vegan food here. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The food was wonderful, well made and had an awesome taste, the drinks were also good and I wouldn’t say they were too expensive. A nice location, very calm. The place was quite empty but, somehow, the service was incredibly slow and didn’t pay attention to us at all, they took so long to ask for our order and, when we were done, they took more than 20 minutes to let us even pay. It has great potential, but the service needs to be trained or changed.

A very good experience. The food was delicious. We had pizza and pasta. My pizza was incredibly tasty and homemade, and it tasted exceptional. The service was very fast and friendly; no problems. Requests were accepted and perfectly implemented. The surroundings and the overall ambiance are very nice and well-maintained. I would definitely go back, highly recommended.

The gluten-free pizza was delicious, but the service was subpar. The first thing the waiter brought me was the tea I ordered. With tea there was a biscuit on the spoon on the plate ;)) No, it's not gluten-free. Why would she have brought it to me with the gluten-free pizza? She wouldn't have known that I wanted "everything" gluten-free! Ohhh. The first doubts arose. I mean, the pizza costs an extra charge if it's gluten-free - why do I order it when it's not necessary and I can apparently tolerate foods containing gluten (i.e. no pizza, yes biscuits?)??? I asked her to take away the biscuit and replace the spoon. She came back with the same saucer, unfortunately also with the same spoon with the crumbs still on it. I don't know of any restaurant that works like this. In my opinion, returning a spoon with gluten-containing crumbs to the guest after taking it out does not demonstrate expertise and, in my opinion, does not represent quality of service on this point. In contrast to mama Blankenese, where I received competent and friendly advice about being gluten-free and ate delicious pasta, my visit to mama in Lehmweg was disappointing.

In Blankenese it tastes better and is better seasoned. Service friendly, but a bit overwhelmed. Maybe there aren't enough people working there...

Even though the restaurant was almost empty, it took almost 20 minutes for the waitress to take the order. There were several of us who ordered something from the pasta selection. The portions are quite manageable. The portion was too small for me and my colleague. We then also ordered a pizza... There are also dishes on the menu for vegans and vegetarians. I thought it was okay, but nothing more...

The Mama Trattoria in Eppendorf completely convinced us! The restaurant not only offers a cozy, inviting atmosphere with beautiful seating, but also scores with first-class service. The service was extremely friendly, attentive and looked after us excellently throughout the evening. We chose pizza and wine, and both were simply delicious. The pizza was fresh, crispy and perfectly topped - you can immediately tell that high-quality ingredients are important here. The wine also went wonderfully with it and tasted excellent. Particularly noteworthy is the price-performance ratio: the prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality of the food and drinks. Another plus is the pleasant atmosphere, which is perfect for both a relaxed dinner for two and a meeting with friends. Conclusion: I would definitely come back and can fully recommend the Mama Trattoria in Eppendorf. If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine in a beautiful atmosphere, you definitely won't be disappointed here!

The restaurant was very cozy and comfortable, but that was the only good thing about it. You had the feeling that the simple dishes were good and the more elaborate dishes were very disappointing and not what you expected.

I'm not a fan of pasta and pizza. I eat spaghetti at an Italian restaurant every 5 years. Here at Mama's it was that time again after a long time. Had the one with fried chanterelles, pancetta, onions, white wine, cream and parsley. Decent portion, bread included, served quickly and it was tasty too. The whole thing is absolutely ok for €14.5. The service was very attentive and quick. Maybe I'll reduce years now 😂

The first impression...the waiter is very nice, answers all questions about the menu, and is open to special requests! 2nd impression......the food is the, the, the absolute hit!!! Recommendation... some chefs from other Italian restaurants should get in touch here for tutoring in terms of cooking and quality, they can really learn something here! 5. Young furnishing style with young, polite staff. Very attentive. Pizza was tender (base) and appropriately fine, with good taste. Price and performance highly recommended and everything was clean.

I went there to "feel" the old Uncle Pö...a shame that the legendary club was turned into an off-the-shelf pizzeria...no memories, nothing...very, very sad

Was there on the weekend and had Penne Arrabbiata. The sauce didn't taste good at all. No salt, no real seasoning and - most importantly - it wasn't spicy. A pity. Our service was nice, the bread was good. But my penne really wasn't good. My companion's spaghetti was also rather disappointing. So mom doesn't seem to be able to make pasta or the cook had a bad day.

Modern restaurant. Dishes are also offered with vegetarian and vegan versions. Delicious pasta dish, very friendly service, good value for money.

Standard restaurant. Food was OK. It's just a chain like Losteria. But somehow way too expensive for what you get. 15€ for a salad with three pieces of goat cheese. You might be better off going to a real restaurant with better service and food.

We ordered food there and are disappointed with it. We paid a premium for the gluten-free pizza, which I understand, but why this pizza is so much smaller despite the fact that you pay more for it is completely beyond my understanding. In addition, the pizzas arrived cold and that wasn't the fault of the driver, who only had to drive about 2km!! In summary, price performance ratio FLOP

Ordered Fussili con Pollo and Fussili con Ragú di manzo. Unfortunately, both meals were very boring and poorly seasoned. Noodles were not al dente but really soft and well done. Maybe the pizza will be more appealing...

The restaurant is very child-friendly. There are the standard dishes - mainly pasta and pizza. Everything tastes average too. The pasta with some “thin” tomato or ragout sauces was ok; the pizza was rather firm, dry and not crispy. The service was friendly but a bit overwhelmed. Overall quite expensive for the quality.

The food was good. The atmosphere is unfortunately very bright and uncomfortable, more like a cafeteria. Unfortunately the staff was also very unfriendly. We won't be coming back again.

Do yourself a favor and pick up a Dr. Oetker’s pizza instead. While the take out service was quick and friendly, the pizza was very disappointing.

All I can say is that the food wasn't tasty. Unfortunately. Pasta was unsalted and didn't taste like anything. I was there with the family. 13 people and more than half didn't like the food. Big pizza but hardly any toppings...or more spring onions on it than anything else...ambience was like that. Staff friendly

Das Essen die Pizzen und auch die low carp Variante war echt lecker

Wir waren dort um 17 Uhr Essen. Nach und nach hat sich das Restaurant gefüllt. Es gab Pizza und einen kleinen Salat mit frischem Minztee. War eine gute Zeit dort und draußen hat es geschneit. Wir sind satt nach Hause gegangen. Service war super 👍

Schönes helles und freundliches Ambiente. Die Qualität der Gerichte und Zutaten sind Top und mittlerweile gibt es auch ordentliche vegane Gerichte. Wer Pizza und Pasta mag, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.

Schöner Laden und sehr freundliches Personal. Allerdings hat mich das Essen leider sehr enttäuscht. Spaghetti Bolognese: Wenn man die Soße frisch macht, ist das Hack schön fest, aber hier war es so weich wie bei einer Soße aus dem Glas. Das war sie sicher nicht, aber es macht zumindest den Eindruck, als hätte das Hack schon seit Stunden in der Soße gelegen und dann wird es natürlich weich. Und recht weich waren leider auch die Spaghetti, weit entfernt von al dente. Und Panna Cotta habe ich schon bei vielen Italienern gegessen, aber hier hat sie zum ersten Mal nach H-Sahne geschmeckt. Dadurch entsteht leider der Eindruck, dass sie nur alle paar Tage frisch gemacht wird, abgesehen davon, dass H-Sahne den Geschmack der Panna Cotta leider runterzieht. Weiteres Minus: Wir saßen nahe der Tür, weit weg von den Toiletten (die im Untergeschoss sind), aber es roch ab & zu ganz leicht nach Toilette. Als ich später dorthin ging, bewahrheitete sich das leider, denn dort roch es genauso, nur natürlich sehr viel stärker (Mischung aus Toilettenreiniger und "Rückständen"). Das erwähnen auch andere Rezensionen und sollte dringend behoben werden.

Solide Pizza und Pasta zu fairen Preisen.

Sehr netter Service, die Pizza könnte etwas mehr Gewürze vertragen, ansonsten alles super. Super kinderfreundlich, gute Lage, leckere Getränke (die Hausgemachten Limonaden sind super)

Ein schönes kleines Restaurant. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Was aber für mich als Allergiker am Besten war, es gab Alternativen zur Weizennudeln und Co. Ich musste nicht nur Salat essen, einfach klasse. 👍 Konnte sogar ein leckeres glutenfreies Dessert genießen. Ein großes Lob . Auf jeden Fall kommen wir wieder, wenn wir in Hamburg sind.

Wer zuhause Tiefkühlkost isst, wird hier sicher seine Freude haben. Mein erster und letzter Besuch. Personal ist freundlich, Räumlichkeiten typisch für Ketten - etwas langweilig.

Wir waren das erste Mal da. Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Service unbeschreiblich nett und auch sonst hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Gerne wieder. 👍

Eine wirklich gute Küche. Die Pizza Fina mit Avocado war sehr lecker. Auch die Spaghetti Bolognese ich das Risotto waren gut.
