The restaurant is beautifully located by the lake. Has a winter garden and a terrace overlooking the lake. Very nice and attentive service. The Persio is my favorite restaurant in Freiburg because it is located right on the lake, with a large sun terrace, two indoor areas with seasonally changing decorations, delicious AND fast AND cheap food and always friendly service staff. And: The Persio and its employees are very dog-friendly 😃

I used to like to get a pizza. This was actually always good. Now I have ordered twice within 6 months of each other. Unfortunately not even remotely tasty. Edible, but nothing more. Tastes like cheap Metro products to me. The service has always been "difficult", but now I won't eat here anymore.

The staff was very, very friendly and we were served very quickly. Furthermore, the pasta dishes, pizzas and salads were very tasty! The price-performance ratio is top! Can't understand some of the statements about the furnishings... If you want a brand new restaurant, you can't expect pizza prices for 12 to 14 euros. At least not in Freiburg.

The Persio on the lake has quite a few passionate opponents, and you can quickly see why. The whole facility is a bit shabby and old; a lot of it looks like it was built on a Saturday afternoon with a case of beer. Crooked doors and windows, finger-wide gaps in the panoramic windows, floors with centimeter-high waves - these are the set pieces that the visitor is confronted with. It seems as if the inspector had just left the property with the building permit and then everything had to happen in a flash. On the other hand, this way everything has a charm that makes it seem honest. You can definitely like that too. In this way, three different areas were created: a beer garden with a view of the lake, a winter garden - also with a lake view, and an indoor area that looks more like a posh Italian. Then you can choose. The operators are a long-established family from Italy who still cook and serve themselves. In this way, everything somehow fits together. Nice. An Italian is only as good as his pizza, and at Persio nothing burns (pun intended). Delicious, juicy and crispy. The prices are ok. Above all, he has not submitted to the dictates of the Ganter brewery, and so fresh Ketterer is served on tap instead of the disgusting broth that you usually get. It's a shame - no export, just wheat and pilsner, but at Italians you actually tend to drink wine anyway. All in all, everything was fine until I realized what a sexist shop it was. The toilet is pretty shabby, but when I held my camera into the women's toilet I couldn't believe my eyes. See photos!

The food is brought in huge portions. Expensive dishes are fully justified; they come with huge portions of side dishes. I didn't particularly like the pizza, but overall it was good. The drinks are unfortunately too expensive, but many people praise the homemade wine, it is really good. The furniture outside is not the best, but in the building you feel great.

Very nice service, it was pretty quick, salads are great, and the fish dishes were really good too. Schnitzel is also recommended. Conclusion: Price performance fits very well 👍

We ordered a salami pizza with extra onions. However, there was no sign of onions. But a lot of cheese. My husband's stomach "turned" shortly after eating. I also felt sick after eating a relatively expensive pinsa, on which the rocket was quite soggy. We probably won't order anything there again, even though the delivery was very good and quick. A pity. We have the impression that the quality has deteriorated significantly recently.

A restaurant with a variety of dishes, pizza and pasta. The food is delicious. The view of the lake is wonderful. The only drawback is that the interior furniture is very old and there is no air conditioning.

We just picked up the food. Very very tasty. We called about 45 minutes before pickup because we were on our way. After the employee offered a pickup time of 20 minutes, it was no problem to switch to 45 minutes. The food was very hot, basically fresh from the oven. Not overcooked and perfectly seasoned. Ambience only perceived when picking up, therefore 1 star less

It doesn't get any better. Everything is correct. Service, food and prices perfect. And that has been the case for years. Portions are very large, you should really be hungry. The atmosphere in the restaurant is really nice. From the outside terrace you have a beautiful view of the swimming lake. Table reservation is recommended as it is always well occupied.

1. Mostly free parking spaces in front of the pizzeria or nearby. 2. Romantic ambience in the restaurant and on the large terrace with a view of the lake. Just as suitable for a first date as for a weekly visit. 3. Casually friendly service, no matter who you meet. There is a natural friendliness here because people are happy to have guests visit. 4. Changing the pizza toppings or salad ingredients is no problem at all, at no extra charge, unless you want something extra. If additional requests are made, the corresponding ingredients are presented very generously. 5. The waiting times for the food to arrive are neither too short nor too long. Drinks come very quickly. 6. The salads in particular are very large. There are three different dressings to choose from. We love the garlic yogurt dressing the most. Grated cheese is mixed into the small and large mixed Italian salad, which gives a very well-rounded overall taste. 7. The pizzas are available in two different sizes. The smaller one is usually enough for us. They are all very generous and filled to the brim, and - what can I say - they taste gigantic. Thin, crispy base and lovingly topped. If you want, you can even get hot oil/chillies to enhance all dishes. 8. Vegetarians simply leave out the ham and tuna in their salad or replace it with sheep's cheese, for example. The pizzas can also be ordered and ordered in a fun way. So every pizza can be vegetarian. 9. The lasagnas and cannellonis also taste great, but may be too small for very hungry mouths without a side salad. 10. If something isn't right, it will be remedied as quickly as possible without any big words. 11. We've known this inn for a while and after we ate there today with our in-laws, we finally wanted to leave a review. After a short meeting we stopped by here and asked if we could get a table for four people. We were immediately assigned a table and were able to order our drinks straight away. After the drinks were brought, the delicious pizza rolls arrived in the basket. After the food was ordered, the side salads arrived a short time later and were very tasty. A short time later our food arrived, which was again very tasty. All in all, the “Persio am See” is a little insider tip. We will definitely come back. Hopefully the coffee machine will be repaired by then. 😉

The food is really good. The service was friendly, but there was just a little too little presence in the winter garden. The ambience is a matter of taste, everything is a bit cluttered and disjointed, but I like it there. Unfortunately there was a draft in the winter garden despite heat lamps.

What arrived was not a simple tomato sauce but unfortunately a tomato cream sauce. When I asked if this was really spaghetti Napoli, the waiter's answer was: Yes Which isn't a problem for me at first, I'm an everything eater. But what about people who are lactose intolerant or vegan? Then this addition should be noted on the card that it is NOT tomato sauce. Unfortunately I didn't like it when I continued eating. Half returned and paid for properly. There is still work behind it that needs to be paid for. Next time I'll just try pizza, they looked really good on the neighboring tables.

Wir waren mit 5 Personen um 17.00 Uhr dort. Das Lokal auch zu dieser Zeit sehr gut besucht. Getränke kamen ruck zuck! Die Auswahl des Essens war auch gleich erledigt, da die Karte sehr übersichtlich und gut strukturiert ist. Die Bedienung hat sehr gut und freundlich beraten. Auch nach Bestellung der Speisen kamen diese sehr zügig. Die Qualität war sehr gut. Wir waren alle zufrieden. Die Preise waren sehr angenehm ! Auch die Getränke waren sehr preiswert ! Rundum sehr gut und wir haben beschlossen mal wieder dort zu essen. Espresso, obwohl bestellt, ging auf Haus !! Wo gibts sowas ! Wir waren zum ersten mal da. Trinkgeld (10€) meinte er das sei zuviel ! Habs ihm aufgrund der guten freundlichen Bedienung und der guten Qualität einfach aufgedrängt !!

Ein Geheimtipp der keiner mehr ist!! Immer gut besucht, traumhaft schön, direkt am Moosweiher See gelegen. Das Ambiente ist "sehr speziell"..aber gerade deswegen versprüht es einen Vintage Charme und in Zeiten von stylisch- luxuriösen Restaurants, fühlt man sich in die 70er zurück versetzt..da konkurrieren Plastiksonnenblumen mit Leopardenmuster und anderen Grausamkeiten, aber klein und gemütlich ist es allemal..der ganze Laden sieht aus als hätte ihn ein Hobbyheimwerker im Laufe von Jahrzenten immer weiter ausgebaut..hat was!! Das wichtigste: Die Küche..fantastisch, die Speisekarte lädt zum träumen ein und der Chef persönlich lässt diese Träume wahr werden..eine sehr umfangreiche Karte mit allen italienischen Köstlichkeiten..von Suppen und Antipasti über Pizza, alle Sorten von Fleisch bis hin zu fantastischen Fischgerichten..leider ist der Park in dem das Persio liegt nur sehr unzureichend beleuchtet, Handytaschenlampe ist unverzichtbar wenn man von der Parkseite kommt. Ideal zu erreichen mit der Linie 1, bis zur Endhaltestelle Moosweiher fahren, von dort sind es keine 500m mehr. Der Park und auch das Persio sind Barrierefrei. Im Sommer sitzt man draussen, mit Blick auf den See, im Winter heizt der Chef immer gut ein und auch aus dem Wintergarten hat man einen schönen Blick auf den Moosweiher. Mein Tipp: zuerst eine Runde um den See ( ca 15 Min. ) und danach im Persio ein gutes 4 Gänge Menu...a guade!!

Meine Frau und ich waren heute zum ersten Mal in der Pizzeria Persio am See. Wir waren angenehm überrascht. Das Personal war freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Unsere Pasta hat sehr gut geschmeckt und die Portionen waren sehr reichhaltig. Wir fühlten uns wie im Urlaub. Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind, werden wir wieder da einkehren. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war mehr als gut. Zum Abschluss gab es sogar noch einen Espresso aufs Haus.

Ein sowas typisch schmuckes italienisches Restaurant…. Von der Ambiente, über die charmante Bedienung bis hin zum leckeren, für das Auge schön angerichtetes, Essen. Schade, dass die Lokalität so weit von zuhause weg ist…. Ach ja und wunderschön am See gelegen, der zum Verdauungsspaziergang einlädt

Das Persio war über sehr viel Jahre mit kleinen Kindern unser Stammlokal. War seit Jahren wieder da. Das Essen ist lecker, die Umgebung schön mit dem See und die Stimmung dort immer unaufgeregt bei stets voll belegten Tischen. Immer gerne wieder. Meine Favoriten: gegrillte Forelle, Lachsnudeln und die vegetarische Lasagne. Ach ja, als Vorspeise der große gemischte Salat zum teilen ;-)

An Bedienung und Ambiente gibt's nichts auszusetzen. Die Qualität von dem was man serviert bekam liess doch ziemlich zu wünschen übrig, sowohl was Pizzen als auch Salatsaucen betrifft, das kriege ich selber noch deutlich besser hin. Ist schwer zu sagen woran das nun gelegen hat, die Salatsauce schmeckte irgendwie leicht ranzig (wenn ich das richtig einordne) und die Pizza hatte auch nicht die aromatische Vielfalt die ich erwartet hätte, der Salami darauf schmeckte z. B. auch irgendwie nicht so ganz frisch. Insgesamt das Geld nicht wert, auch wenn's nicht besonders teuer war.
