My favorite shop in Freiburg. Very tasty burgers and drinks. There is a very inexpensive lunch special and very good homemade lemonade.

Great atmosphere! The food tasted great and the espresso was simply fantastic! Thank you 🙏 . Even though we hadn't made a reservation, the service staff gave us a great seat

Unfortunately the food was cold when it arrived. The waitresses tried very hard but the drinks also took a long time.

The burger itself was tasty but unfortunately cold. Unfortunately, I only received the table water I ordered after dinner. The service wasn't really friendly and our empty plates were left in front of us for over 30 minutes without the service coming to our table. We waited a very long time (despite the almost empty restaurant) until the table was cleared.

We went here last week on a rainy Thursday. It was quiet, but still cosy. The server was really nice, and because of the quietness he took the time to chat with us. The selection of burgers was great! Half of the menu consisted of beef burgers, the other half of vegetarian burgers. The food and the atmosphere were great.

Visit after the store has been closed for 2 weeks: - Wheat beer tasted extremely sour/fermented and was complained about. Apparently the barrel was almost empty and had probably been sitting around unused/uncleaned for the last few weeks?? That doesn't work at all. Afterwards I ordered a Pils, which I still had to pay for. - Burger buns were not fresh and gave the impression that they had been toasted so you wouldn't notice it as much. The little meat and the burger were okay, but nothing special that day (cheeseburger). - Fries were crispy, the homemade dip was okay. Unfortunately I can't leave a very positive review and won't be coming back.

Attention everyone with celiac disease: We wanted to pick up gluten-free burgers with sweet potato fries. On the phone they assured us that everything was gluten-free. When I picked it up, I looked in the bag and there was a wild mix of fries on the side (including culry fries, which are rarely found gluten-free). When I asked, the waitress assured me that these were also gluten-free. I was very unsure and we looked at the bag together. Wheat was listed as an ingredient there. The burger then had to be re-prepared because the fries were on it. The chef didn't understand that at all and just wanted to take the fries down and sell me the burger. Feeling very insecure, I ate the newly prepared gluten-free burger without any fries. I doubt whether due to lack of knowledge, attention is paid to contamination (fries in a separate deep fryer, bread rolls toasted separately, etc.). Answer: Thank you for the answer. I was in the Klarastraße branch in Freiburg on the evening of August 7th, 2024.

Food was ok, but not quite justified for the price. Drinks were only served after over 30 minutes and that was at 34 degrees in the shade.

Completely adapted to celiacs. They will adapt any burger to you. Three tasty gluten-free burgers and 3 types of accompaniment + different sauces. Very happy with the service. A very kind and friendly waiter

The price-performance ratio is top here. The service was very nice and we didn't wait long for our food. The taste was good, although the falafel patty was a bit big and dry. I would have liked a little more sweet potatoes in the mixed fries. Otherwise, I'd love to come back!

There wasn't much going on and we were informed when we entered that the service would be closing in 40 minutes. However, we were ignored for 15 minutes and our order was only taken after we went to the waitress. But the burgers were very tasty and the service was otherwise very nice.

Very comfy atmosphere. Insanely nice staff and the food absolutely hits the spot. Just an awesome experience. Definitely recommend trying it out.

Vegan food was okay. We ordered 3 vegan burgers. One with salad, this one came with mayo dressing (not vegan). Lunch menu is definitely worth it.

Great selection of vegan burgers! We ate 2 vegan and one vegetarian burgers for lunch and were very satisfied! Cheap lunch to fill you up. Nice service. We were able to sit outside nicely. Highly recommended 😊!

After waiting 45 minutes the order was canceled without a word. After telephone consultation, it was pointed out that nothing had arrived from Lieferando. We were then offered to simply order again ✨. Paid in advance of course. According to Lieferando, it will be refunded but it is still annoying.

Unfortunately the quality has decreased significantly. We really enjoyed coming here before, but unfortunately everything is declining. Fries cold, burger bread partly too hard and soggy underneath. Unfortunately we won't be able to eat there again, even though we really enjoyed being there.

Everything was great and super friendly staff. When I idiot dropped our to-go food in front of the tram and returned there was a support espresso from the colleagues there. Super friendly and very helpful. Gladly again!

As my previous review of chicken time where my order was cancelled and I was dissatisfied I came to this place. This ended up being a great thing. The food is amazing. I got the chilli burger with the mixed fries and it was amazing. The two women at the counter were really nice and helpful. Finally the atmosphere seemed to be great. I really recommend it

We ordered something to eat, they gave our order to someone else and after 3 hours of waiting, they canceled our order (without telling us), pretty professional, keep it up!!!

We immediately felt very comfortable. A very warm and friendly atmosphere. The owner runs the restaurant with a lot of commitment and love.

Friendly service, burger wasn't that good, meat was like bad pjeskavica. The store is definitely good for eco-friendly people, but not for people who expect a great burger.

Can’t understand the good ratings. We had a very mediocre experience that beats MCs, but definitely isn’t in a 4 star or more area. Burger patty is very thin and not juicy at all. Buns not toasted and discounter quality. Atmosphere pretty soulless. Maybe I’m spoilt by Berlin and other cities, but I’d definitely not go there again and warn my friends. P.S.: You unfortunately can’t pay with Debit or Credit Card as well - so we almost dine-and-dashed, but that would be bad Karma.

I was always happy on site. Ordered today. Underground! Delivery was a disaster, employee rude on the phone. Unfortunately, the burger was absolutely not tasty & the meat was soggy and to top it off there was a hair on the burger that looked like animal hair. White and quite thick/short. Bah. Unfortunately it ends up in GARBAGE. 30€ for nothing!

Unfortunately I have to change my review 6 months later. It was one of my favourite burger restaurants in Freiburg, but it seems that they have changed their recipe and/or ingredients. It is not as good as it used to be.

When we still didn't get a card after waiting 10 minutes, we went to the front to get one from the counter. Another 15 minutes later our order was taken. It should be mentioned that there was only one other table occupied apart from us... The staff is incompetent and unfriendly. Some things on the menu, such as the spelled bread, could not be ordered. The burger tasted okay, but was a bit dry.

Food was very tasty. The food came quickly. I ate a gluten-free cheese meister. The restaurant is clean, modern and nicely decorated. Would recommend it! :)

Quite inconspicuous from the outside, beautiful interior with attention to detail, small but nice outdoor area, Orders quickly and food came in a reasonable time. Burger is a matter of taste, the bun was too dry for me. For the price you will definitely be full. But I've had better burgers. Rather impractical with a stroller and wheelchair.

Unfortunately the burgers were a disappointment, tasteless, no grill aroma and carelessly topped, side dishes were ok. You should be able to expect more for the money! Not again sorry

We can only recommend this restaurant when it comes to delicious burgers. With the first bite you immediately notice that this is not run-of-the-mill meat. The fries were also very tasty and the service was always friendly.

One of the worst burgers I've eaten. For one thing, I stated when I ordered that I didn't want any vegetables on my burger. I got a burger with vegetables. Fries totally soggy and just not tasty. There was no trace of cheese on the cheeseburger and the burger bread was completely dry. The last time I went two years ago the burgers were way better. I think the owner has changed here... Unfortunately I can't recommend it at all

We took our lunch break there today. All I can say is: Very, very tasty! Again any time! I had a caretaker burger 🍔 with mixed potatoes (curly fries and sweet potato fries) with mayo (see picture)

Unfortunately, I had to watch yesterday around 5 p.m. food products from the Penny being pushed through Klarastraße in a shopping cart by two employees and straight into the Kushmeister. Sauces, ready-made burger buns, etc. It was 16 degrees and sunny. The cold chain was over.

Dear ladies and gentlemen, today I ate a delicious burger at Kusch Meister, which I really enjoyed and I can therefore only recommend this restaurant in the local countryside in Freiburg

Large selection of vegan and vegetarian burgers, all burgers can be ordered gluten-free, the service was super accommodating and it tasted very good too.

Food great, price unbeatable. 5th star is missing because the card reader does not accept Mastercard or Visa.

The burger meat (according to 100% beef) tasted like sheep. The ringlet fries and the burger bun were good. We were irritated about the meat as we had good burgers here a few months ago, wouldn't come back.

The burgers and sides were ok. But unfortunately nothing more. Prices are adjusted to the quality. So that's ok too. The really good extractor hood in the kitchen should also be switched on. Then there wouldn't be the same air in the dining room as in the kitchen. Colorful flashing Christmas lights and Christmas decorations arrive on January 23rd. a bit strange. But the service staff was the highlight. As soon as she greeted them, she managed to make guests feel like they were a nuisance. I have rarely experienced such an unmotivated service person. There were really few guests on site. Nevertheless, the lady had more eyes for her smartphone than for the guests. And all of this in front of the guests. The lack of enthusiasm when it came to serving and cashiers couldn't be surpassed either. She seemed annoyed by everything. Just not from your smartphone. Was my last visit. Very unfortunate. You can easily do a lot more with it.

We were there yesterday and each tried a burger and a homemade iced tea. The iced pineapple-mango iced tea just tasted like water with syrup, no tea taste, no mango and no pineapple taste. Unfortunately, the other iced tea was just as disappointing. Unfortunately, they brought me the wrong burger, and when I politely asked them to put the other ingredients on it that I actually ordered, the response was extremely unfriendly. The service in general was very unfriendly! I wouldn't go there again and wouldn't recommend this store to anyone.

Attention!!!!!!This store is an impertinence! Back when it belonged to the owners of mr Döner, it was the best here in Freiburg! Then it was taken over by others. Since then, this place is really bad. Dry, non-quality good burger meat, the fries smell like old fat and are cheap fries! The burger patties are too dry. Well, making burgers is an art in itself! Not everyone can. But you should at least use good quality products and use new deep fryers! You can smell that it's old! There are much better ones in town! This place is a rip-off. Yes, service may be nice. But I'm not there for that, I'm there for the burgers!

Unfortunately, I can't recommend a catering establishment that just wants to order something 5 minutes before the closing time and the gentlemen don't feel like canceling my order after about an hour of waiting. If it had been right after 5 minutes, it wouldn't have been a problem at all...but it would have left me waiting an hour for an order that never came...

Die Burger waren sehr lecker, die Pommes auch. Die Mozarella-Sticks leider sehr klein und recht geschmackslos. Im Salatdressing war leider zu viel Essig drin. Die Inneneinrichtung lässt zu wünschen übrig, der Außenbereich sah dafür sehr gemütlich aus, es war aber sehr kalt:) Sehr schade fanden wir, dass unsere beiden Teller sehr abgenutzt aussahen und die Ränder teils auch schon kaputt waren, die würde ich echt an der Stelle der Leitung dringend ersetzen bzw. entsorgen wollen. Sonst zufrieden, Preis war angemessen, satt sind wir auch geworden:)

Ich weiß nicht habe danach Durchfall bekommen und es hat auch nicht gerade so dolle und ich fand es ein bisschen kompliziert die Speisekarte zu lesen

Sehr starke Burger für sehr guten Preis!

Teuer, langsam und unfreundliches Personal. Das Essen ist sehr mittelmäßig, kalte fettige Pommes, es stinkt immer nach altem Fett, und das merkt man dem Essen an. Die waren mal sehr gut, als sie eröffnet haben, aber jetzt muss man wirklich vor dem Laden warnen.

Guter Mittagstisch für 10,90€ 🙏🏻🧡

Wir waren gestern dort, und es hat sehr gut geschmeckt und die Preise waren angemessen. Vom Ambiente her konnte mich das Restaurant auch überzeugen. Zu bemängeln hätte ich nur, dass wir eine halbe Stunde auf die Speisekarte warten mussten, das muss sich auf jeden Fall ändern.

Ein Besuch im ‘Kushmeister’ in Freiburg ist ein echtes Geschmackserlebnis für alle Burger-Liebhaber. Der Service hier sticht besonders hervor: aufmerksam, freundlich und einfach top! Jeder Burger ist ein Kunstwerk für sich – saftig, perfekt gewürzt und absolut köstlich. Definitiv ein Muss für alle, die in Freiburg nach einem erstklassigen Burger-Erlebnis suchen.

Tasty burger with good size of juicy patty(150gr) which you cannot find for similar price in Freiburg old town. The fresh and soft sesame bun was complementing the burger. The French fries were fresh and the ambience was cosy…It worth walking a little from the old town.

Nette Kellner Sauberes Lokal Sehr leckere Burger Das Käse mit dem die Burger übergossen wurden fand ich nicht gut, aber das könnt ihr auch weg lassen, dann schmeckt es top.

Der Preis ist gut, das Essen reichlich. Leider haben die Pommes geschmeckt, als wären sie nochmal aufgewärmt worden oder zumindest lange warm gehalten. Die veganen Falafel Pattys waren an sich zwar gut aber für einen Burger völlig ungeeignet, da sie total zerbröseln. Letztlich isst man dann sehr trockene Krümel aus Mais und Weizenbrötchen. Das macht durstig! Vom Service bin ich sehr enttäuscht. Wir saßen draußen und wir wurden dort erst mal gar nicht zur Kenntnis genommen. Ich musste reingehen und darum bitten bedient zu werden. Auch während dem Essen wurde nicht nach uns geschaut. Ich musste also selber wieder rein gehen und neue Getränke ordern. Das kann ich ja verstehen, wenn viele Gäste da sind und das Personal nicht reicht. Aber wir waren die ganze Zeit nur zu zweit. Es gab keine weiteren Gäste. Ich finde es gut, dass es hier so viele veganen Optionen gibt und wenn die Qualität und der Service besser werden, dann komme ich gerne regelmäßig.

Die Burger sind nicht gut und es gab kein Ketchup.

Bin nicht aus Freiburg, so war unser Besuch relativ spontan aber kann‘s jeden empfehlen. Extrem leckeres essen, die Pommes waren so knusprig & die Burger saftig und geschmacksreich. Zuvorkommender & freundlicher Service und selbst die Musik hat gestimmt. Top ❤️

Hatte gestern einen super saftigen Burger bei KUSHMEISTER und hab jeden Bissen davon genossen. Die Betonung liegt auf saftig, die Fleischsäfte flossen nur so. Wie man sichs wünscht. Habe echt ein hidden gem entdeckt. Anscheinend gibt es auch in Müllheim eine Filiale und es sind weitere geplant, falls ich’s richtig verstanden habe. Parkplätze sind kein Problem, das Burgerrestaurant ist im ZO Zentrum Oberwiehre zu finden, dort fährt man einfach in die Tiefgarage. Alles in allem werde ich hier öfters mal vorbeischauen und freue mich schon darauf, die Speisekarte hoch und runter zu probieren. Burger sind einfach genial, wenn sie gut gemacht sind. (Ich hatte übrigens den Badischen Meister mit Ziegenkäse für die, die es interessiert) Guten Appetit!

Der Burgerbrater Kushmeister in Freiburg in der Klarastraße hat ein tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Speisekarte ist vielseitig, das Servicepersonal sehr freundlich und das Mittagsmenü, wir hatten einen Burger und Pommes dazu sehr gut. Das Restaurant im innenbereich sieht aus wie eine ehemalige Kneipe jedoch funktional. Der Burger war geschmacklich gut und würzig. Die Pommes und Süßkartoffelpommes sehr würzig und kross. Fazit: Sehr gutes Mittagsmenü mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und nettem Servicepersonal welches uns auch nochmal das Getränk nachgeschenkt hatte.

3 Sterne stehen für gut und das war es auch. Für einen Stern mehr fehlt es an einem ausgefeilten Brot für den Burger. Leider sind auch die Pommes 0815, nichts besonderes. Dafür hatte das Fleisch gut geschmeckt und der vegetarische Burger war auch frisch und gut.
