I honestly ate one of the best burgers of my life here! The staff was also incredibly attentive and friendly :) I'll definitely be back.

When we come to Freiburg, usually on Saturday afternoons, the question is always "where should we eat?" Kushmeister is always one of our top choices because of their delicious burgers, and they're halal too! Thank you so much, dear Kushmeister team! 🫶

I was craving a burger after a long train journey, and this restaurant was perfectly located near the station. I ordered a vegetarian burger as a lunch special with curly fries and sweet potato fries, and for €10.90 I got exactly what I expected. The burger was delicious, the fries were a tad too salty for my taste, but that's just a matter of personal preference. If I'm ever in Freiburg again and fancy a burger, I'll definitely be back!

I wanted something to eat at 4:15 p.m. Four guests were sitting on the street and already had their food. I was in a real hurry, so I went in, quickly looked at the menu, and ordered an Aperol and a vegetarian burger. The employee said it would take 13 minutes, but... okay? Yes, okay! The Aperol came after 5 minutes, but the burger didn't come at all. After 35 minutes, I went in and asked... what, I didn't bring it to them, and I said no, they hadn't been on the street for half an hour, and the used dishes were still on the guests' tables. Oh,,,,then the order didn't go to the kitchen...do they want an espresso on the house... I was hungry, hadn't eaten anything all day, and who wants an espresso... The employee probably stood there in the restaurant for half an hour...he said he probably had to take care of something else...can't say anything about that...as soon as I walked in, he had a cell phone in his hand and probably had very important things to do, and when I reminded him about my missing burger, he couldn't remember me, the only customer he was supposed to serve.!!!!!!!!Wow, a truly brilliant performance! That's unbelievable and a total cheek. And what do I see? At his desk is a delicious burger that he was just about to eat...the employee could have waited on me for another half hour...and would have been full. I can't believe it...the only customer isn't even noticed!!!!!! Wow, never again, the Aperol tasted like nothing and I still had to pay 5 euros for it. I can only hope that word gets around about this shitty service.

Unfortunately, it's very disappointing... The shop inside isn't at all inviting, really dirty. The staff aren't unfriendly, but they're not particularly competent or courteous either... And last but not least, you get a burger that you could at least make at home without any problems... so you can really save yourself the €14 per burger...

Delivery order. A ridiculously expensive burger (€18) that doesn't taste particularly good and consists mostly of a bun. The snack box with mozzarella sticks, nuggets, and onion rings (€12) was pretty dry without the sauce. For that price, maybe they could offer a small dip to choose from. I feel a bit ripped off. Next time, I'll order a burger from downtown.

We ordered online. A regular burger and one with a gluten-free burger bun (€2 extra). We got two burgers that looked identical. The gluten-free burger wasn't labeled. Very disappointing for the price. As someone with gluten intolerance, I couldn't eat it. The regular burger tasted okay, but nothing special. If you have gluten-free options, you should offer them. Perhaps it was an oversight. But that shouldn't happen, especially with gluten. It's a shame. We couldn't ask because the number wasn't assigned.

The place itself is very nice, everything else is horrible, the food arrived incomplete, I had paid for extras and received nothing after a delay of 1.45 hours and a phone call which couldn't have been more annoying. From it's not our fault to it will take another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. The chips were cold, the sauces were mixed up, the extras were skillfully ignored - why am I paying the extra €2 for bacon when everything is thrown at me and it's incomplete. When the food arrived, they didn't even look at me, handed me the bag and before I could have complained it was gone. I've tried calling there several times but have been skillfully ignored. I was actually always satisfied but this back and forth without proper information was the last straw for me - never again!

Very tasty food. I had the sweet potato fries with cheese and jalapenos, and my companion had the chili burger. Plus, the guys were super nice! See you next time 🙏🌶️😋

I've never paid so much money for such a shitty burger before.

The burger selection is creative, but the taste is just okay. The cheese fries are soft, unseasoned fries with something resembling melted cheese from the foil, and the dips don't really taste like their names. All in all, just okay.

Delicious falafel burgers at a good price.

The food (burgers on the lunch menu) came quickly and was reasonably priced. The ambiance inside seemed rather old-fashioned to me, a bit like the old-school bars with bowling alleys.

Extremely delicious burgers, especially with a large selection of vegan and vegetarian burgers, and all at fair prices. We'd go back anytime! Our favorite is the halloumi burger!

It shocks me how different my experience with the food is from what I read in the reviews. I didn't like the hamburgers for several reasons. The master sauce has a much too pungent, sweet taste that makes it impossible to taste anything else. The other sauces aren't quite as bad, but what they all have in common is an unpleasant mouthfeel. They're not light and creamy, but rather thick and heavy, as if you were trying to eat oil-based paint. The meat doesn't taste or feel fried, but rather steamed, with no crust at all. I ordered it medium because that was the option offered, but it still ended up being quite dry. The fries, as is unfortunately the case almost everywhere these days, are soggy and taste artificial. My order was no exception. Overall, it's pretty disappointing.

A great dining experience! Very friendly service and a super friendly atmosphere within the team made me feel very comfortable! The burgers and sides are amazing! And at a very fair price, too! Especially the strawberry matcha, prepared by the chef himself, simply WOW! Definitely worth a visit!

The first impression was amazing. The waiter/manager was extremely cheerful, humorous, and understanding. The food was also great; we felt really comfortable, and the burgers were delicious. There were four of us; two of us had the Hausmeister Burger. It was delicious, and the other two had a vegan burger, and everything tasted great too. We would recommend it and eat there again.

The burgers 🍔 were quite good, perhaps a bit pricey, and the fries and salad were also quite good. I didn't find the interior particularly appealing, but that's a matter of taste, as we all know. The service definitely needed improvement. When the food arrived, the drinks weren't there yet. The cutlery also had to be brought back.

Great atmosphere, great burgers, good music. I was here with four women, and we were all impressed by the taste and quality. They also serve great drinks garnished with fresh, aromatic fruit. We were even served a fruit platter (we were lucky – the owner was there, and I had a nice chat with him). Highly recommended. I try not to go near Kushmeister.

A great selection of burgers, and everything is delicious. We've eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. The burgers have always tasted fresh and delicious, as have the fries and sides like salad. The service has never been anything to complain about either. We've always had friendly and fast service. We come regularly every few months and hope the place stays this good for a long time.

A great burger restaurant with excellent portion sizes. Located in the heart of the neighborhood, there's outdoor seating, indoor seating, and even a back porch.

A restaurant that serves halal food. We tried the grilled chicken and meat with potatoes and they were both delicious and the prices are reasonable. The shop is located on a narrow street and looks small from the outside but there is limited outdoor seating and indoor and patio seating. It is an experience that I wouldn't mind repeating and I recommend it.

I’m a fan of burgers. The size of the burger was good, and the delivery was fast and smooth. We ordered the “Janitor Burger,” which was supposed to have a garlic cream flavor, but we couldn’t really taste it. The beef flavor in the burger also didn’t stand out. We ordered different sauces: Chili Dip, Master Dip, Guacamole, and BBq Dip. The Master Dip was really bad — it tasted like vanilla ice cream! Overall, the experience was good

The burgers and fries were very good - unfortunately we had to wait almost an hour and a half for them in the restaurant. There was no hint, no information, simply no communication from the staff - so I wouldn't necessarily speak of "service". I hope the boys get a good showing of this again.

Relatively unfriendly service, you didn't feel very welcome. No cutlery was provided with our meal, upon request we received ONE knife and nothing else because they said there was no more cutlery. We then helped each other with wooden sticks. In addition, the waiting time was over an hour long, which doesn't put the restaurant in a better light.

Unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to tell you more details. Quality not sufficient at these prices. There are delivery services in Freiburg that make you happy and this one is not one of them. The only good thing was the guacamole. But I don't need to spend 18 euros for that...:( disappointed! If you want to make it up to me, you will refund me at least half of the price. Otherwise no recommendation, not an order ever again... Maybe I should serve you a burger so you know what a good citizen should taste like!

Ordered via Lieferando, which is why I cannot give a review of the premises. The burger is okay, but too plain considering the price. It consisted of a bun, meat, sauce and onions. No lettuce, no tomatoes. As a result, the burger lacks fresh ingredients. Unfortunately I find it quite one-sided.

We reserved a table for 4 people for New Year's Eve via online reservation. We received 3 emails: confirmation, modification and reminder. When we arrived the restaurant was closed. We parked in the parking garage, of course we had to pay for it and then stood in front of the locked doors. So a complete disappointment. Nobody contacted us either.

We went here last week on a rainy Thursday. It was quiet, but still cosy. The server was really nice, and because of the quietness he took the time to chat with us. The selection of burgers was great! Half of the menu consisted of beef burgers, the other half of vegetarian burgers. The food and the atmosphere were great.

Visit after the store has been closed for 2 weeks: - Wheat beer tasted extremely sour/fermented and was complained about. Apparently the barrel was almost empty and had probably been sitting around unused/uncleaned for the last few weeks?? That doesn't work at all. Afterwards I ordered a Pils, which I still had to pay for. - Burger buns were not fresh and gave the impression that they had been toasted so you wouldn't notice it as much. The little meat and the burger were okay, but nothing special that day (cheeseburger). - Fries were crispy, the homemade dip was okay. Unfortunately I can't leave a very positive review and won't be coming back.

Attention everyone with celiac disease: We wanted to pick up gluten-free burgers with sweet potato fries. On the phone they assured us that everything was gluten-free. When I picked it up, I looked in the bag and there was a wild mix of fries on the side (including culry fries, which are rarely found gluten-free). When I asked, the waitress assured me that these were also gluten-free. I was very unsure and we looked at the bag together. Wheat was listed as an ingredient there. The burger then had to be re-prepared because the fries were on it. The chef didn't understand that at all and just wanted to take the fries down and sell me the burger. Feeling very insecure, I ate the newly prepared gluten-free burger without any fries. I doubt whether due to lack of knowledge, attention is paid to contamination (fries in a separate deep fryer, bread rolls toasted separately, etc.). Answer: Thank you for the answer. As my previous review of chicken time where my order was cancelled and I was dissatisfied I came to this place. This ended up being a great thing. The food is amazing. I got the chilli burger with the mixed fries and it was amazing. The two women at the counter were really nice and helpful. Finally the atmosphere seemed to be great. I really recommend it

Friendly service, burger wasn't that good, meat was like bad pjeskavica. The store is definitely good for eco-friendly people, but not for people who expect a great burger.
