We had to wait outside, but that wasn't a problem at all. On the contrary, the wait was made more pleasant with a glass of sparkling wine or orange juice. We didn't get the impression that the staff were stressed at all. They were incredibly friendly! Everything was perfect!

I've been to Hans im Glück several times now in different cities. The service is always excellent, as is the atmosphere. Two years ago, we were in Freiburg and sat outside. The metal chairs are stylish, but a cushion would be nice because they get uncomfortable after sitting for a while. The food and drinks are absolutely delicious. I had the salad with goat cheese. I asked if they offered a senior portion, as I can only manage small amounts due to stomach surgery. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible, which I would recommend. They said I could leave out the bread, which I thought was very kind, but unfortunately, it didn't change the price. I think that's a shame because then I could have added it to the bill and taken it with me if necessary. But otherwise, keep up the good work!

I'm familiar with Hans im Glück, so the food was no surprise. It was as delicious as ever. But what really stood out was the incredibly professional service. It was attentive and efficient, making our evening (a group of 7) even more enjoyable.

The caramelized onions weren't caramelized, and the bacon was tasteless. The bun was no good. It really doesn't take much to make a good burger. I certainly won't be trying anything else.

Why celebrate a place like this? The burgers are bland, the patties aren't even homemade, and the fries weren't crispy either. The interior is cramped. It's just a better McDonald's, nothing more.

Exceptionally beautiful decor, with birch trunks, lots of greenery, and light. Delicious burgers. Choosing was difficult, there are so many great options. The fries are perfect: crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. We tried the mint cocktail and loved it. We definitely recommend a visit here.

Went to Hans im Glück in Freiburg today. It was absolutely fantastic, delicious of course, but the incredibly friendly, cheerful, yet unobtrusive service from So Hee was especially impressive and made for a wonderful evening. THANK YOU! Keep up the good work!

Early Saturday evening, I spontaneously got a seat in a completely packed restaurant. Despite the crowds, everything was very well coordinated and quick. The servers were all very friendly. The food, as always, was quite delicious. Everything was great!

Nice ambiance, plenty of outdoor seating. Unfortunately, the chairs outside aren't particularly comfortable. 😉 Since the restaurant is located on a busy corner, it's a bit noisy – cars, trains, and lots of pedestrians are constantly moving. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A great place for vegans too! 🌱🍔

The burger chain's Freiburg branch isn't much different from other locations I've seen, but that's not surprising... The burger selection is familiar and, in my opinion, offers something for everyone. The quality is good, and the portions are plentiful. The service is fast, friendly, and attentive. All in all, a great place to eat a good burger if you want something tried and tested. 😊

We were here on Thursday and were absolutely thrilled! The concept is brilliant – you can customize your meal to your own taste. Whether vegetarian, vegan, or with meat – there's something for everyone here. Everything tasted great and was freshly prepared. Emelie from the service team deserves special mention! She was incredibly attentive and friendly. Her expert advice on putting together the dishes was very helpful – she was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations. Such warm and professional service is unfortunately far too rare. The value for money is also excellent. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the restaurant!

Overall: wouldn’t come back It was Saturday evening at about 6:30, there was about a 20 minute wait for the two of us. We were seared, given our menus and our waitress never came by for about 20 minutes. We took that opportunity and ordered our drinks and burgers. Our drinks came about 15 minutes after that. Our neighbors (of 3) who came in a few minutes before us had finished their drinks and meals. We finally received our burgers and they were ok. I had the triple smash and my wife had a chicken burger. We grabbed the soonest available staff for our bill and she came about 10-15 minutes after that. All in all, 58 euro for dinner and was not happy at all. Would not go back purely on the mediocre burgers and horrible wait times. I rarely complain regarding service unless it’s a long time between checkups ( in this case there were one), and order times and delivery times. Maybe we were sitting in a bad location 🤷‍♂️
