Super great burgers and drinks. Good choice for meat eaters, non-meat eaters and people with intolerances. We ate here during our vacation, completely spontaneously. Great service, delicious food. The way the restaurant is designed is also really interesting. Unfortunately I found it a bit loud, but you have to put up with that. It's up to the guests, not the restaurant.

We ate there yesterday early evening. Very nice atmosphere and great decoration. The two ladies in service were great. It was our first visit to Hans im Glück. Freiburg has made new friends. Great taste. We had the “journeyman” which was super tasty. And the fries with garlic cheese. Also super tasty. When I later sought help with a taxi due to strikes, I was helped very friendly!!!! You are a great team. Thank you very much and we'll be back☺️☺️

We ordered the lunch menu twice. The prices are fair for the quantity and quality of the food. The staff was attentive and kind and the food was served quickly.

The food itself is okay but nothing more. The prices are too high, especially for these portion sizes. It's a shame, we won't be coming back. Service was friendly.

Short waiting time at the entrance on Google it said 15 minutes, actually it was only 5 minutes great. Very nice, courteous staff who gave good advice on the first visit. Food excellent, strange combinations but they fit together perfectly, the sweet potato fries are brilliant. The only drawback is the ceiling paneling in the shop, which is super nice until you look up at the ceiling and see the ventilation and pipes, which are black but it breaks the overall impression a bit, so the ambience is really heartfelt. Unfortunately, with so much effort in the shop, it would have been deducted 1 star I'm sure there was something left for the ceiling. It's a shame but otherwise highly recommended and very tasty 😋 always happy

Quite good restaurant- amazing staff and delicious burgers

Food is really okay... but several times orders have been rejected after the fact, sometimes with an order value of €60, canceled an hour after ordering. Not possible, sorry but the service is terrible.

It was very tasty and nice, but the music was sometimes a bit too present. The service and employees were very nice. Our server Justin was outstanding! :)

Delicious vegan and vegetarian burgers

The classic cheeseburger is very good. The exquisite salad. And I loved the non-alcoholic cocktails ❤️.

Very centrally located “Hans im Glück” right on Europaplatz in Freiburg. We were there spontaneously on New Year's Eve around 6:30 p.m. and got a very good seat. The ambience is typical for the chain, a bit uncomfortable at the table due to the benches. Service was super nice, everything tasted very good, we've seen toilets that were cleaner, it was still just fine. Overall positive summary. Clear recommendation from Katja & Ralf.

We were there recently for lunch. It was full but we got a nice seat. The service was very good and the food arrived hot. Drinks were great. Not too sweet and very tasty. All in all a very good visit

Very good and nice service, no long waiting times and good food. Only the somewhat narrow and small tables are a bit of a hindrance, at least in Freiburg. In Karlsruhe it looks even nicer and more spacious.

Was there with the class! Despite there being a lot of people, we were super friendly and made space. We had a lot of fun even if some people drank a bit too much

I ordered vegetarian burgers, and they were absolutely delicious. The service was efficient, and the staff was friendly. The ambience added to the overall experience. However, the space isn’t very accommodating for families with small children and buggies.

Food is like in every Hans im Glück, it's right next to the train station so it's pretty noisy and there's no free parking.

Burgers are delicious with a variety of choices, including vegan. The lunch menu with burger, side dish, drink and coffee costs around €20 (depending on the burger) Recommended for a quick lunch

We have already tested many Hans im Glück restaurants in the Republic and have come to the conclusion that this one is by far the best, friendliest and tastiest of all! The location is really great and there is always something to see at Europaplatz in Freiburg. We like coming here because the Mannheimer is always served in a friendly manner, the food is always prepared quickly, fresh and tasty and you are not disappointed in any way! You would think that everything at Hans im Glück tastes the same, but this is a misconception, it is by far the best here!

Food great, staff sometimes a bit overwhelmed but very nice. The situation is just loud and busy.

The ingredients are carefully selected and the dish could be balanced. For a French person, what doesn't work is the half liter of sweet salad dressing which distorts everything. The service is optimal and ultra-fast and the quality/price ratio very competitive. To compare with the restaurants which offer Baden cuisine which we have not tried.

Fast food at a very good level. We definitely found the service really great. She was really incredibly friendly, even though the place was completely full. Thanks to the niches and trees in the restaurant, it wasn't cramped - even though it was fully booked. Better than many other restaurants. Gladly again!

On the occasion of our 3-day stay in Freiburg, we went to Hans on the recommendation of my brother. A bit naive without a reservation 😬 fortunately (the name is Program) there was exactly 1 table still available for the three of us in the rather small HiG. Ambiance as you are used to. Food also experienced as before (in Switzerland), flawless, delicious 😋 we can highly recommend the HiG in Freiburg WITH reservation!

We ate really well, arriving around 9:30 p.m. we were served quite quickly. The burgers are really excellent.

I really like the Hans im Glück chain, the diversity of the menu, especially with vegetarian, vegan and non-alcoholic culinary specialties. I think it's really good!

A chain or franchise, so you know roughly what to expect, which also has something good about it. The food is good (4 x burgers with different side dishes) and the service is ok. Maybe we just got a bad spot. Or I'm just too tall at about 1.85. I think it's too narrow, open benches without backrests and the person at the next table is always "in close contact" Since I have work colleagues who use wheelchairs, I wonder how people can still approve a restaurant like this these days. New and modern yes, but probably not with a wheelchair. (Toilet in the basement, everything is too narrow.) I think overall it's really ok, but it's probably designed to squeeze a table into the last niche and get rid of the guest as quickly as possible instead of being a real host and inviting the guests to linger. I'm more of a person who wants a little more hospitality for his money.

The food was very good, but the staff was very stressed, unfriendly and rude!!! 🥵😤 Well, I've never experienced anything like that. That was the last time I was there!

The burger is tasty but the price is through the roof. The tables are smaller than small, there is no backrest so you end up cuddling with the backs of other guests here and there. If you're into that 🙈 well, there's no atmosphere, unfortunately the fake trees are of no use either.

Delicious burgers with great, attentive service. The only thing that was a bit annoying was that the food was there before the drink. But okay, that's complaining at a high level. We will be back.

A very friendly waiter served us. The burgers were very good as were the fries. Even though the restaurant was full, our food was ready quickly.

The service is very nice but at times overloaded and hardly has time to clean properly. The food is expensive and the prices for fries (€10) are completely exorbitant. The chips at €5 are tiny and just bone dry and cold. The dips on the tables are a hygienic disaster. All in all, unfortunately not a highlight, although the burgers were good.

Well I have to say that I have never eaten such a good burger! The service was very charming and also very accommodating! It happened very quickly and we were always asked appropriately about the drinks. I'm already looking forward to the next visit!!!! I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience!!!

Friendly staff. They let the dogs in and gave us a bowl for them without us asking them anything. The girl explained the menu to us to make our choice easier. What can I say, delicious burgers. I got a vegan burger and it was delicious. Super beautiful and original location. It stuck with me!

Ich war kürzlich zum ersten mal beim Hans und es wird auch das letzte mal gewesen sein!!! Der Service war top, freundlich frech(das mag ich),schnell und wirklich gut! Das Ambiente gefällt mir auch sehr... Aber dann kam das bestellte Essen und ich war sehr enttäuscht über die Menge an Pommes(10 Pommes Sticks) und der Burger war naja...in nem Burger Restaurant kann mehr erwarte!!! Der Preis geht dann eigentlich garnicht!

Sehr nette Atmosphäre auf der kleinen Insel mitten auf dem Europaplatz. Das Interieur gleicht einem kleinen Wald, welches das Essen gleich noch schmackhafter macht. Die Burger sind super, die Limos auch. Besonders die Apfel-Rhabarber-Schorle ist sehr zu empfehlen. Nur die Pommes waren etwas trocken. Gerne wieder! (Klaut die Orangen-Senf-Soße)

Ein wirklich nettes kleines Burgerlokal vor der Einkaufsstraße. Eine schöne Auswahl an Burger, und die sind lecker. Schneller und absolut freundlicher Service. Die Getränkekarte ist auch mal etwas anderes. Kreativ.

Das Essen ist super lecker, da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Der Service ist immer freundlich gut drauf und sehr aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist einladend und einzigartig. Immer wieder gerne.

Las Hamburguesas muy ricas y el servicio atentos y amables.

Qualität/Menge könnte besser sein. Brioche Brötchen fast verbrannt und der Hochstapler Burger war nicht sehr üppig belegt. Chilli Cheese Fries waren sehr klein und auch mit sehr wenig Jalapenos und Käse belegt. Cocktail hatte ein verwelktes Blatt Basilikum ... Für 30€ für das gesamte Menü dann doch viel zu teuer. (Cocktail, Burger und Fries) Geschmacklich war es in Ordnung.
