Simply great, the food looks and tasted very good and the staff are very friendly and attentive.

Wonderful ambience right on the Möhnesee. Here you can enjoy very good food and the view. The service is extremely good, a friendly and nice atmosphere.

Google is open on Thursdays from 3 p.m. There is a sign on the terrace that says it is only open from 4 p.m. Long journey for nothing....👎

I can only recommend the restaurant. You can sit inside or outside with a view of the Möhnesee. The food was plentiful and tasted very good. I ate the Ampelschnitzel, fries 🍟 and salad.

Located directly on Lake Möhne and furnished in a modern style with a large terrace, the Pfefferminze is a great address for feasting and relaxing. But it's really well attended on the weekend. The food is a little more expensive than in other restaurants, but definitely worth every euro. Everything is very tasty and beautifully presented. The service is also very good. 5⭐

This café and restaurant is a true gem: The combination of a stunning location right on the water, excellent food, and consistently friendly, professional service makes every visit special. The dishes are not only delicious, but also lovingly prepared – you can tell that the work here is done with passion and quality. A cozy meal with a view of the lake: everything just fits. What particularly strikes me: friendliness and attentiveness are not the exception here, but the norm. The team is always cheerful, accommodating, and ensures that you feel completely at home. For me, the Pfeffermühle is a place to enjoy and relax – perfect for excursions, meetings with friends, or romantic evenings. We were there for dinner on February 23rd, 2025 but had made a reservation beforehand and we are happy to have done so. Since the weather was great, there were of course a lot of people out and about. The service was/is super nice, friendly and relaxed. Drinks were taken and the menu was handed out. I found the menu to be small but I found that there was something for every taste and changing the dish wasn't a problem. The food came after a reasonable amount of time (20 to 30 minutes) despite the fact that it was full. We had the Ampelschnitzel (Schnitzel Champions, Holodaise and gratinated with cheese) 3 times and 1x salmon with pan-fried vegetables with fries instead of potatoes. It was super tasty, the salmon wasn't fried to death but nice and juicy (glassy) it was really tasty. The price/performance ratio was also good. We will definitely stop by again on our next walk and eat something.

There were two of us and we wanted a place in the shade. The young employee just wanted to offer us a table for two in the sun. He didn't want to give us a table for four. Maybe you don't fit in with the local clientele if you wear jeans and a motorcycle leather jacket. We then went to rocco, where it was possible to sit at a larger table for two. 👍🏻👍🏻

Nice location, delicious food. Is a bit pricey. We were difficult about joining tables together on the terrace, we were 8 people, so we sat inside.

My favorite restaurant at Möhnesee!

I reserved a table for my wife's birthday with a request for small flower table decorations. The reservation has been confirmed. We were seated at a table of four and without any attention. The waiter called us first name! (I am visibly 70+). Given this ambience and reputation of the restaurant, I expected more. That was nothing ☹️ Plus the price: 2 schnitzels + 2 glasses of wine = 70€ 🥹!!!

I can't understand the other reviews. The breading on the Wiener Schnitzel was totally mushy/soft. Really not recommended for a price of €28.

Unfortunately, the breading on the veal schnitzel was absolutely soggy and inedible. I didn't expect that from such a great looking restaurant. The waiter probably noticed this. But he didn't care.

The entire team, especially the waiters, were absolutely great: friendly, attentive and always on hand. Everything was perfect, from the organization to the smallest detail. You could completely rely on the team. It was just an all-round successful celebration and we couldn't be happier. Many thanks to the entire team at Pfeffermühle for this unforgettable day!!!

It's okay, but too expensive. The restaurant is of course beautifully located, right on the lake, and looks pretty inside too. The waiters were consistent. Friendly. The food was delicious so far and we were full. But: if you charge €39 for a main course (the pepper rump steak) or €27 for the chicken, you have to deliver more. For the price I would expect flawless, very attentive service. Or more creative dishes. Instead, we each got a fried piece of meat (chicken and rump steak) with a pot of sauce and fried potatoes (one fries, one hash browns). There was often not enough attention to reorder the drinks. That's just not enough for the price. This was average food with average service for a really above average price. €7.50 for a bottle of water.

It was a great location, with a view of the Möhnesee. The food was absolutely delicious (I had the tarte flambée with buffalo mozzarella, my husband had the Nordic style tarte flambée). The service was also very polite, attentive but not intrusive, which I personally found very, very pleasant. So can really be recommended.

Very disappointing - unfriendly service We were in Körbecke for a few days. So we were really looking forward to the pepper mill! The positive reviews had convinced us up to that point. This evening we went to the Pfeffermühle at Möhnesee and were very disappointed. We came to the Pfeffermühle about 25 minutes before closing time and wanted to order one last drink, but were refused on the grounds that it was already closed. Apparently you were more busy with your cell phone and your friends. The employee's behavior was very arrogant and almost arrogant. Unfortunately, we already knew this from the Herkenrath Hof in Leverkusen. The gentleman in question had previously been busy there for a short time, which we were surprised to discover by chance. Unfortunately, this behavior has also been confirmed here. It seems as if this establishment doesn't need to serve guests until the end of the day. It's a shame and despite the excellent location, great ambience and an interesting map!!!

It is already one of the best restaurants on Möhnesee. Apart from the delicious food (fresh products), very friendly staff (who also have a nice saying on their lips) and great atmosphere, the view of the lake (especially on the 1st floor) is worth a visit. We had the pleasure of dining at Pfeffermühle and it was an absolutely outstanding experience. Having traveled from Dortmund, we spontaneously decided on this restaurant and it turned out to be the best decision. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted by an excellent ambience. The decor is stylish and cozy, which immediately creates a welcoming atmosphere. The high-quality utensils and the loving decoration demonstrate great care and attention to detail. The meal was a real pleasure. Of particular note were the prawns, which were perfectly cooked and of the best quality. The absolute highlight of our meal, however, was the tarte flambée. It was simply outstanding – crispy dough, rich topping and wonderfully seasoned. Every bite was a feast for the senses. The service at Pfeffermühle was equally impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive and always tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Our spontaneous visit to Pfeffermühle was so convincing that we have decided to regularly include this restaurant in our plans when we are in the area. We can only warmly recommend it to everyone and are already looking forward to our next visit. Many thanks to the entire team at Pfeffermühle for this unforgettable culinary experience!

The service doesn't think it's necessary to point out different sizes (ml) of drinks and simply brings the largest cola (most expensive). Food is okay. But the fact that there are no menus displayed in two existing display cases is impossible!!! What kind of food is there and what are the prices? As a local resident, I have already been approached by tourists about this, it doesn't work at all!! Despite the prime location on the lake, as locals we will no longer visit the restaurant.

Very nice location right on Möhnesee. We were there for the first time today and didn't get a table because everything was full. After a walk around the lake, we tried our luck again and managed to get a table on the beautiful terrace. Both the food and drinks were served quickly and were very appealing Prepared, tasty and enough to fill you up. What also impressed us was the incredible friendliness and great service of the staff, who kept checking and asking if everything was OK and whether we had any further wishes and also responded to our special requests. We felt welcome and very comfortable as guests and will definitely come back. Finally a place where you know what good service means, with what we think is a very good price-performance ratio. Unfortunately, something like this is now extremely rare to find in the catering industry. Keep it up 👍.

The restaurant offers an attractive ambience that invites you to linger. Unfortunately the steak was not cooked to the level ordered. It was ordered medium rare and it arrived well done. And the fries didn't appear to be homemade, which affected the quality and I would have expected it at this price. Despite multiple references to gluten intolerance, the mayonnaise was served in a wheat waffle. Overall, there is potential for improvement in terms of service and quality.
