Pfeffermühle am See - Restaurant Café Bar in Möhnesee

Die Location ist ein Traum, das Essen sehr köstlich und der Service ein Traum. Wirklich empfehlenswert!

Wir haben im April unsere standesamtliche Hochzeit in der oberen Etage mit der Terrasse in der Pfeffermühle gefeiert. Wir sind einfach so begeistert von der Location! Das Ambiente ist einfach traumhaft schön! Es fühlte sich wie ein Urlaubstag an. Die Terrasse ist zwar offenen, aber gibt einem dennoch das Gefühl der Privatsphäre. Der Blick auf den See ist einfach mega! Die Location ist an sich so chic und elegant, dass es nicht viel Deko bedarf. In der unteren Etage war normaler Betrieb, aber wir haben von den anderen Gästen nichts mitbekommen. Das Essen war einfach nur ausgezeichnet - ein sehr vielfältiges Buffet, bei dem einfach alles lecker und von höchster Qualität war. Das Team war unglaublich gastfreundlich und hat mit seiner professionellen, aber herzlich offenen Art allen das Gefühl vermittelt herzlich willkommen zu sein und unsere gute Stimmung unterstützt. Die Vorbereitungszeit mit Faruk war sehr gut. Er versteht ganz klar die Branche, stand uns mit Tipps und seiner Erfahrung immer zur Seite. All unsere Wünsche wurden nicht nur erfüllt sondern übertroffen, aber wenn wir kurzfristig etwas umgeplant haben. Unsere Gäste schwärmen bis jetzt noch von dem Tag und wir sind Faruk und dem Team unglaublich dankbar, dass sie diesen unvergesslich gemacht haben! Am liebsten würden wir da nochmal etwas feiern 😊 Wir kennen die Pfeffermühle natürlich auch als ein „einfaches“ Lokal, bei dem man sehr gerne im Sommer einkehrt. Auch dann sind noch nie enttäuscht worden! Wir empfehlen diesen Ort mit absolut gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen und eigentlich reichen die fünf Sterne auch nicht aus, um unsere Zufriedenheit und Glückseligkeit auszudrücken! 🤩

Wir waren heute mit einer Gruppe Mädels in dem Restaurant Pfeffermühle und sind total begeistert! Das Essen bzw. Buffet war super lecker, alles frisch und geschmacklich einfach top. Die Bedienung war 1A . Man hat sich von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Ein rundum gelungener Tag mit tollem Service und sehr gutem Essen. Für uns ganz klar: 10 von 10 Punkten - wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nasse Hunde sind nicht erlaubt. Sehen, dass wir die Hunde an die kurze Leine umleinen, dann wird uns im Restaurant gesagt, nasse Hunde sind auf hygienischen Gründen nicht erlaubt. Glatte 6. Geht gar nicht. Bin sprachlos. Habe ich noch nie erlebt.

Restaurant liegt direkt am See wunderbares Ambiente. Das Essen und der Service sind sehr gut.

Zu Ostern mit Familie ein sehr umfangreiches und geschmackvolles Bufett (kalt/ warm) genossen. War wirklich jeden Cent wert und auch nicht aus dem preislich Rahmen. Nur zu empfehlen, auch bei den à la carte Speisen. Gerne wieder.

Super Lage. Die Qualität ist gut, jedoch macht die minimale Zeit von der Bestellung zur Lieferung der Speisen skeptisch. Ich vermute, es ist alles bis ins kleinste vorbereitet griffbereit in der Küche, was nicht unbedingt schlecht ist. Frisch hergestellt hat aber noch mehr Vitamine in den Produkten als wenn es über längere Zeit bis zur Auslieferung im warmen Zustand wartet. Wenn das so ist wie ich vermute, sind die Preise zu hoch. Der Möhnesee ist schön, auch ein paar Meter weiter...

Atmosphäre schön mit Blick auf den Möhnesee. Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert. Statt Trinkgeld hier eine ehrlich liebgemeinte Empfehlung!

Super Lage am Möhnesee, freundlicher Empfang, auch ohne Reservierung. Top gepflegte Terrasse mit Seeblick, leider Nutzung aufgrund der Witterung und Jahreszeit nicht möglich. Sehr gute Essensauswahl von einer Speisekarte im Holzumschlag. Sehr freundliches aufmerksames Personal. Wir fühlten uns sofort willkommen. Sehr faire Preise für Top zubereitete frische Speisen. Die Aussicht auf den Möhnesee ist ein absolutes Highlight – einfach traumhaft! Alles ist wunderschön unter Glas gestaltet, hell, modern und sehr einladend. We attended a wedding at the Pfeffermühle restaurant, and what can I say? It was absolutely fantastic. The service, the staff, the food... everything was simply a 10/10! If I could, I would get married there again. I was completely thrilled. We'll be back soon for regular business; we're looking forward to it.

I don't often give a full 5 stars 🤩👍🏻, but this restaurant definitely deserves it. The service was super professional and courteous, even though we didn't have a reservation. We were seated briefly in lounge chairs up front and immediately given tickets for an aperitif. We didn't even wait 5 minutes. Then we went to our table. We ordered the soup in advance, which was very tasty. But the highlight was the mill chicken. I haven't had such a delicious meal in ages. The sauce was dreamy... We also shared a tiramisu. Also delicious! The service was prompt, and everything went very quickly. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. 👍🏻🧡

I ate here today with my three sisters and my mom. I felt very comfortable from the start. There was subtle music playing in the background. The service was very friendly, attentive, and unobtrusive. We were served quickly. I had a feta tarte flambée. I've never eaten such a crispy, delicious tarte flambée. Wafer-thin, crispy to the last bite. My mom had chicken with mushrooms and hash browns. My sisters had salads, which looked very good and were said to be delicious, too. Five rather picky women were very satisfied. What also needs to be said is that the restrooms were super clean. The entire decor was very tasteful. We'll definitely be back!

The food and ambiance were really good, or rather very nice. But the service leaves a lot to be desired. When you approach a server about taking your order and the only response you get is "I don't have time, I'll be right back," it's quite worrying. Even saying to someone serving you, "Pass it on, please"—mm, okay.

We were there yesterday, and the food was absolutely delicious. We liked the service the most because you could tell the waiters had good energy, were helpful, and had a good mood—an atmosphere you rarely experience in restaurants. I didn't finish my schnitzel; they brought it to our table in an aluminum-molded handbag. That was the highlight of the evening, and we had a good laugh.

A great place for dining or celebrating. The waiters always keep an eye on the tables. The drinks and food are top-quality. The chocolate mousse is truly a dream, but still a bit overpriced.

We visited the Pfeffermühle for the first time today and were thrilled with the food, ambiance, and the very friendly and attentive service :) We'd love to come back and are already looking forward to it! Highly recommended :)

We stopped here for the first time rather unplanned. Since then, we've only been here for dinner. Very tasty, very nice atmosphere. Personally, I don't understand the negative comments. We drive 40 minutes, but it's now our regular spot.

Celebrated my 80th birthday there on July 5, 2025. It's beautifully situated on Lake Möhne, with a view of the water. The food was plentiful and excellent! The chef and his staff are fantastic! I highly recommend this location for a celebration! Thanks to the chef and staff.

A very nice location, no doubt about it. And very friendly service. The dishes are a bit more expensive, but the quality isn't necessarily very good. The schnitzel was probably bought pre-heated. There was also no salad. Next time, I'd unfortunately stick to drinks and cake. It's also a shame there's no free parking. But it was a nice evening.

We are truly speechless at the excellent service you all consistently provided. Even in our previous appointments, there wasn't a single moment where you offered "just good" service. Instead, you ALWAYS provided 100% first-class service: For example, every glass of Coke was always served with ice cubes and lemon. These are small details, but they remain very memorable. Furthermore, we think it's amazing that you were still there with joy and fun even after 12 hours of work. We felt so comfortable and warmly welcomed by you. All of our guests were also thrilled with the atmosphere and the food! From the bottom of our hearts: Thank you! ❤️

My only complaint is that this restaurant does not do enough to ensure that guests get a seat. I have already been sent away 3 times, allegedly because there is no room for 2 people, despite free tables.

Great atmosphere, very friendly and attentive staff. The food (salmon fillet and schnitzel) was excellent. We were there as a group of two. I would definitely recommend it.

I wanted to take my mother out to dinner and reserved a table with a lake view four days in advance. The reservation was confirmed. When we arrived, all the tables on the terrace overlooking the lake were occupied. We were still lucky that a couple had finished their meals at the same moment. The food wasn't good; I expected more. The breading was peeling off the meat. No salad. No bread beforehand. Fries looked dark and had been in the oil for too long. A bottle of mineral water was placed on the table, not poured. When someone asked if I was enjoying it and I had just finished, they immediately cleared our plates. No questions asked if I wanted anything else. We had actually wanted dessert, but then we lost it. There was already a line in the back waiting for empty tables. It was as loud as a train station. It was a mass-processing operation, so they didn't make any effort. Menu: few dishes and nothing special. The dessert selection is so meager and boring. There was no daily special either. The view is the only positive thing, and so is the table decoration in the restaurant. Very disappointed, we won't be back. There are better restaurants further back with higher-quality food. I don't understand the many stars.

Because we were there on a public holiday, there was a buffet. The selection was good and plentiful. Everything I ate was delicious. The service was super friendly; they asked us every few minutes if everything was okay or if we needed anything else. The ambiance was very pleasant to look at and had a modern style.

It's a good thing the opening hours listed here on Maps were incorrect. I discovered this place while passing by on the first Sunday in June and had a lovely and truly delicious evening with a beautiful view and very friendly service. Please update the opening hours for out-of-towners :-)

The tarte flambée/schnitzel menu is a revelation for any trained chef. "Where freshness is at home," "enjoy creative dishes," "regional/seasonal,"... we missed all of that. Very friendly service, perfect ambiance, and perfect view.

Unfortunately it was a private event and we could only sit outside in the cold weather. The coffee and cake were still good and the service was nice and friendly!

Google is open on Thursdays from 3 p.m. There is a sign on the terrace that says it is only open from 4 p.m. Long journey for nothing....👎

I can only recommend the restaurant. You can sit inside or outside with a view of the Möhnesee. The food was plentiful and tasted very good. I ate the Ampelschnitzel, fries 🍟 and salad.
