Nice location but not very cozy

100% in all areas, nothing to be desired here. A top address on Möhnesee for both private and business purposes. Great ambience, service/team and food. We will be back and I recommend it.

I can't understand the other reviews. The breading on the Wiener Schnitzel was totally mushy/soft. Really not recommended for a price of €28.

Unfortunately, the breading on the veal schnitzel was absolutely soggy and inedible. I didn't expect that from such a great looking restaurant. The waiter probably noticed this. But he didn't care.

**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️** We celebrated our wedding at the Pfeffermühle yesterday and are simply thrilled! The decoration was beautiful and with so much attention to detail - it just looked gorgeous. The entire team, especially the waiters, were absolutely great: friendly, attentive and always on hand. Everything was perfect, from the organization to the smallest detail. You could completely rely on the team. It was just an all-round successful celebration and we couldn't be happier. Many thanks to the entire team at Pfeffermühle for this unforgettable day!!!

Unfortunately, the schnitzel was very dry and seemed as if it had first been fried and then over-baked. The price was quite ambitious for what was offered. But service was good and the ambience is nice. But in the future we would rather go somewhere else due to the quality of the spwisen. By the way, we were there with 8 people and no one was impressed

It's okay, but too expensive. The restaurant is of course beautifully located, right on the lake, and looks pretty inside too. The waiters were consistent. Friendly. The food was delicious so far and we were full. But: if you charge €39 for a main course (the pepper rump steak) or €27 for the chicken, you have to deliver more. For the price I would expect flawless, very attentive service. Or more creative dishes. Instead, we each got a fried piece of meat (chicken and rump steak) with a pot of sauce and fried potatoes (one fries, one hash browns). There was often not enough attention to reorder the drinks. That's just not enough for the price. This was average food with average service for a really above average price. €7.50 for a bottle of water.

It was a great location, with a view of the Möhnesee. The food was absolutely delicious (I had the tarte flambée with buffalo mozzarella, my husband had the Nordic style tarte flambée). The service was also very polite, attentive but not intrusive, which I personally found very, very pleasant. So can really be recommended.

Unfortunately, after being greeted outside, we were skillfully ignored, which was a shame. It was different...

Very disappointing - unfriendly service We were in Körbecke for a few days. So we were really looking forward to the pepper mill! The positive reviews had convinced us up to that point. This evening we went to the Pfeffermühle at Möhnesee and were very disappointed. We came to the Pfeffermühle about 25 minutes before closing time and wanted to order one last drink, but were refused on the grounds that it was already closed. Apparently you were more busy with your cell phone and your friends. The employee's behavior was very arrogant and almost arrogant. Unfortunately, we already knew this from the Herkenrath Hof in Leverkusen. The gentleman in question had previously been busy there for a short time, which we were surprised to discover by chance. Unfortunately, this behavior has also been confirmed here. It seems as if this establishment doesn't need to serve guests until the end of the day. It's a shame and despite the excellent location, great ambience and an interesting map!!!

It is already one of the best restaurants on Möhnesee. Apart from the delicious food (fresh products), very friendly staff (who also have a nice saying on their lips) and great atmosphere, the view of the lake (especially on the 1st floor) is worth a visit. We were there for our 60th birthday. Everything worked out great. The service was very quick and the food was VERY successful I would definitely come again LG Carmen

Were there on a Sunday. It was fantastic weather. We ordered cake and it was really great.

We had the pleasure of dining at Pfeffermühle and it was an absolutely outstanding experience. Having traveled from Dortmund, we spontaneously decided on this restaurant and it turned out to be the best decision. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted by an excellent ambience. The decor is stylish and cozy, which immediately creates a welcoming atmosphere. The high-quality utensils and the loving decoration demonstrate great care and attention to detail. The meal was a real pleasure. Of particular note were the prawns, which were perfectly cooked and of the best quality. The absolute highlight of our meal, however, was the tarte flambée. It was simply outstanding – crispy dough, rich topping and wonderfully seasoned. Every bite was a feast for the senses. The service at Pfeffermühle was equally impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive and always tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Our spontaneous visit to Pfeffermühle was so convincing that we have decided to regularly include this restaurant in our plans when we are in the area. We can only warmly recommend it to everyone and are already looking forward to our next visit. Many thanks to the entire team at Pfeffermühle for this unforgettable culinary experience!

Eat good Beautiful location for dream weddings! Nice personel

The service doesn't think it's necessary to point out different sizes (ml) of drinks and simply brings the largest cola (most expensive). Food is okay. But the fact that there are no menus displayed in two existing display cases is impossible!!! What kind of food is there and what are the prices? As a local resident, I have already been approached by tourists about this, it doesn't work at all!! Despite the prime location on the lake, as locals we will no longer visit the restaurant.

Very nice location right on Möhnesee. We were there for the first time today and didn't get a table because everything was full. After a walk around the lake, we tried our luck again and managed to get a table on the beautiful terrace. Both the food and drinks were served quickly and were very appealing Prepared, tasty and enough to fill you up. What also impressed us was the incredible friendliness and great service of the staff, who kept checking and asking if everything was OK and whether we had any further wishes and also responded to our special requests. We felt welcome and very comfortable as guests and will definitely come back. Finally a place where you know what good service means, with what we think is a very good price-performance ratio. Unfortunately, something like this is now extremely rare to find in the catering industry. Keep it up 👍.

The food was very tasty, the service was extremely friendly and accommodating, polite. If you are in the area you shouldn't miss the restaurant, I can recommend it to absolutely everyone.

Unfortunately there were only 3 tickets for 4 people. Our friend was missing a drinking straw and it took 15 minutes until one came. The prices are totally overpriced.

The restaurant offers an attractive ambience that invites you to linger. Unfortunately the steak was not cooked to the level ordered. It was ordered medium rare and it arrived well done. And the fries didn't appear to be homemade, which affected the quality and I would have expected it at this price. Despite multiple references to gluten intolerance, the mayonnaise was served in a wheat waffle. Overall, there is potential for improvement in terms of service and quality.

Unfortunately, the selection on the menu and the taste of the food are no longer as tasty as in the previous / small pepper mill in the town center. You could accept the price increase if vegetables or some salad were also served! But to charge €24 for a large schnitzel with fries or hashbrowns is quite steep!! And what's more, without any "healthy" food content. Very unfortunate.

I went to dinner with my girlfriend who had her birthday. I had ordered a table for two with the request to prepare something decorative for my birthday. I was promised this over the phone. Unfortunately nothing happened here. I found that very disappointing. We had an extremely delicious shrimp appetizer. Afterwards we ate schnitzel for €23 and steak for €38. Unfortunately, it didn't arrive medium and my friend's fries were raw on the inside and white on both sides. See photo. (Golden brown crisp fries would have been great here). The service was very attentive and brought my friend a new plate. Unfortunately, the steak here was also dry and not medium rare. As compensation there was dessert and a coffee on the house. The drinks were excellent and the service was top notch. However, due to the aforementioned mistakes with the main course and the failure to prepare for the birthday, we would not go to the restaurant again. There are simply tastier restaurants that try harder here. The prices have increased extremely. We had two main menus to take home with us. Cooking it yourself is simply tastier. A pity. Costs for everything over €200. Oh yes. Mini portion of mayonnaise 1€ mini :)

The restaurant has a great location with a view of Lake Möhne, definitely a nice place to stop and linger in the summer. The large hall, on the other hand, has little atmosphere to offer, especially in the dark, rainy winter garden - cozy corners are unfortunately rare. The friendly and professional service does a very good job. In addition to a rather spartan menu, the prices have been outrageously raised following the VAT increase. Are on the Internet e.g. For example, if we were asking 16.50 euros for a schnitzel dish, today we shelled out a whopping 23.00 euros. There was nothing wrong with the taste of the food, but we were disappointed that a veal schnitzel for 28.00 euros didn't even come with a small side salad included in the price. The bottom line is that, given good conditions, I see a lot of room for improvement.

My girlfriend and I are restaurateurs ourselves and I have to say, for a Sunday when there's a little bit of sun shining for us to say that drinks last about an hour and eating takes even longer, I find that pretty intense. There were enough people on the move that day and everyone had an order man. It was just unstructured and we just left. The table next to us was also clearly in a bad mood and made this known loudly.

Immer gerne dort Essen. Tisch reservieren ist nötig. Auf dem Parkplatz nicht ohne Ticket stehen. Kurz vor Ende der Bezahlzeit 20 Uhr, haben wir um 19:35 Uhr ein Knöllchen über 20 Euro bekommen. Wenn wir Gewerbesteuerzahler in der Gemeinde wären..... ist nicht Kundenfreundlich und Besucher

Leider gibt es hier erst ab 17 Uhr warme Küche. Davor kann man Kuchen und Kaffee auf der schönen am See gelegenen Terasse genießen.

Exzellente Location mit super leckerem Essen. Toller Service und einen traumhaften Park nebenan und tollen Ausblick auf den Möhnesee hat sich nach unserem letzten Besuch nicht geändert. Könnte nicht besser sein. Immer wieder gerne. Waren mit Freunden 10 Personen vor Ort. Waren alle sehr zufrieden.

Wir waren dort zu einer Hochzeit. Ich muss sagen, das Essen war mega. Der Service überirdisch. Jeder Wunsch wurde einem von den Lippen abgelesen. Weiter so!

Wir wollten draußen reservieren, wurde abgelehnt. Als wir dann ankamen, war die halbe Terrasse reserviert. Kein gutes Gefühl! Die Speicherkarte besteht hauptsächlich aus Flammkuchen und Schnitzel, dass ist dem schönen Ambiente und dem hervorragenden Service nicht angemessen. Die Speisen waren durchweg sehr gut. Die Preise sind exorbitant.

Schön dekorierte Tische zum essen, Karte übersichtlich aber dafür sehr schmackhaft. Auch wenn nicht alles top war, der Service ist damit sehr gut umgegangen. Uns hat es trotzdem sehr gut gefallen, sehr gut geschmeckt und können es daher nur empfehlen.

Am Sonntag im August sehr voll. Bedienung war sehr schnell und höflich .Mein Flammkuchen war der Beste den ich je aß. Schöner Blick auf den Möhnesee.

Waren spontan dort Essen. Mussten auf Platz warten da auf Terrasse alles voll war, aber ein Spaziergang am Wasser machte die Wartezeit kürzer. Essen war gut ,Schnitzel mit Pommes oder Bratkartoffeln, Nudelpfanne und Hähnchen Champions mit Bratkartoffeln. Das Hähnchen hatte null Geschmack und mit fast 23 Euro viel zu teuer. 😳😳😲😲 Bedienung war sehr freundlich.🙂 Es darf auf Terrasse geraucht werden ,find ich persönlich zum Essen absolut unangenehm. 😌

Wir waren das letzte Mal vor 2 Jahren dort Essen, man muss ehrlich sagen die Pfeffermühle lebt von Ihrer Lage, ansonsten haut die Küchenleistung keinen vom Hocker. PREISE viel zu Hoch!!!

Von Anfang bis Ende war alles einfach perfekt. Der Service und die Küche verdient höchstes Lob. Das Personal war äußerst aufmerksam und professionell. Wir fühlten uns von der ersten Minute an herzlich willkommen und gut betreut. Alle unsere Wünsche wurden nicht nur erfüllt, sondern übertroffen. Das Team hat sich wirklich darum gekümmert, dass unser besonderer Tag reibungslos verlief. Insgesamt kann ich die Pfeffermühle am Möhnesee uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Wenn Sie eine unvergessliche Hochzeitsfeier oder ein besonderes Ereignis planen, werden Sie hier bestens betreut. VIELEN DANK!!

Ein toller Ort, um in gehobener und dennoch lockerer Atmosphäre eine angenehme Zeit zu verbringen. Nachmittags vielfältige Auswahl an Kuchen. Die Speisekarte bietet ebenfalls eine breite Auswahl. Auffällig ist, dass es sich beim Servicepersonal offensichtlich um ausgebildete Kräfte handelt. Alles wirkt sehr professionell. Dafür ein extra Lob! Die Qualität der Speisen und die Anrichtung lassen keine Wünsche offen. Auch geschmacklich hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Preise dafür sind durchaus angemessen. Sitzmöglichkeiten sowohl draußen als auch drinnen ausreichend vorhanden. Kostenlose hauseigene Parkplätze für diejenigen, welche nicht CO2-neutral anreisen können oder wollen. Der Blick auf den Möhnesee versüßt den Aufenthalt natürlich zusätzlich. Wir werden dort nun öfter einkehren.

Das Essen war sehr gut, außer der Kinderteller - der war nicht so besonders und die Pommes waren sehr lätschig und lieblos angerichtet. Service sehr aufmerksam und super freundlich. Ambiente sehr schön und toller Blick auf den Möhnesee. Die Auswahl der Speisen könnte meiner Meinung nach noch etwas kreativer sein.
