Mega Schnitzel ! You're happy to pay a few euros more for this. We live further away but will definitely come back.

Today we were guests with 4 people and 2 dogs. There was nothing to complain about. The food was very good, the staff friendly, attentive and quick. Nicely located and parking available. The house-made liqueur is particularly recommended... it is also available to take away, at a reasonable price. We were happy to make use of it 😁

Very nice and large restaurant decorated in Western style. There are enough parking spaces for cars and disabled people, the entrance is suitable for Erding and disabled people. There is a very large beer garden with a grill hut and much more. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is also very popular with bikers, so you should definitely make a reservation or call ahead and ask if there is still space.

The boss is still in the kitchen! The burgers are amazing and everything is fresh and homemade. Like mom :-) Go there on an empty stomach, otherwise you won't be able to fill the portions! I love to linger and feast there.

One of the few restaurants that require a bit of effort before you are compensated with great food Never show up in the evening or on the weekend without a reservation and expect a table to be available. It was great, as always! Word of the top quality of offerings and service has spread throughout the region, so many people are not afraid to take the long journey through the forest, even in winter. You will then be rewarded with delicious food and a unique ambience, especially in winter, the log cabin with the open fireplace cannot be beaten for coziness. And with fast and always friendly service, they keep you in a good mood even when it's busy. All in all, it is worth the aforementioned effort, if any.

I love this place! Formerly as Geronimos Lodge and for 12 years as Fränkis. The food is always delicious and fresh. The service is attentive and the space is beautiful. All in all, a great shop and I'm looking forward to testing the new restaurant in Paderborn.

Chicken burger with (homemade?!) fries. Huge burger, half was easily packed up and taken home. super delicious food and great ambience. Very nice service. Reservations are an advantage, especially on weekends during peak times. We were lucky (1 table for 2 was free) I can only recommend 💪👍

We were there for the first time today. We saw it by chance on Facebook and then set off from Dortmund. We came around the corner and immediately thought it was great. Great cabin... open the door and receive a very warm welcome. The staff was extremely attentive and alert. Our waitress had a very fine sense of humor and we were immediately on the same wavelength. The food came quickly and was of great quality. It tasted good and what you saw at the next tables invites you to go on another trip. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to... It's always nice to be here. In summer you can sit outside and enjoy the surrounding nature and in the cold season the hut invites you to stay with its cozy atmosphere. Anyone who hasn't been here has missed something in my opinion!!

We had a wonderful evening. The food was great, we were thrilled. Over the course of the evening we discovered the many bottles of Frankie, which we then tried straight away. Caramel and cherry liqueur. He completely blew us away. We bought a bottle straight away, it's cozy, rustic... the staff left a wonderful impression on each other too, everything was great!

Nothing that is described on the website is adhered to. Everything made from scratch? Cheap burger meat and apart from the sauces... Even the dressing for the salad isn't his recipe.

Maybe 1-2 more vegetarian options and it would be a 12 out of 10! I've been a guest for ages and love it with you! The heart is in the right place here

The burgers are not only big, they are also extremely tasty. But every other dish must also be evaluated in the same way. The service is always friendly and accommodating. No matter whether it's a beer garden or a hut. Both are lovingly and originally furnished. The vodka caramel liqueur produced especially for Fränkies Hütte is delicious. It's good that you can buy it in bottles there and take it with you.

I don't know what was going on. Bad day or something, but the fried potatoes tasted old and oily. It wasn't my first time at Fränkie's huts. I've been there several times and actually it was the first time that we didn't like the food, but all three of us didn't and we all had something with fried potatoes. Maybe next time it would be for that much money I demand something else

We made reservations by phone as a larger group. Unfortunately, they probably neglected to point out that the stay was obviously only 2 hours long. We were very irritated and calmly expressed our displeasure. The staff and boss were very unfriendly and rude. Food was good, but the treatment of our group of 20 was inappropriate. Oh yes, we were also asked to move back together to free a table for other guests. We complied with the request, although the table was simply pushed aside unoccupied. Our group's conclusion is that we will visit another restaurant in the future.

Was turned away at 7 p.m., there would be nothing left! But only half of all the tables were occupied! And I was alone!!!

Stopped here in the evening following a recommendation after a long hike. The ambience both inside and outside is cozy, rustic and very pleasing to the eye. The drinks came quickly from the very friendly service and you felt genuinely welcome. Then it was time to order food and I wanted to try Bigos with schnitzel. It was fresh, tasty and, together with the fried potatoes, quite plentiful. After the sporting activity, it was just right for me. Because it tasted so good, you ask yourself why you haven't tried Bigos before?! Better to have the experience late than not at all. Since it was generally well attended and reserved, there were only free spaces outside. However, it worked with a jacket. However, there is one point to complain about: due to the location in the forest, we quickly had black and yellow pests on our drinks. Unfortunately, despite requests, the request for additional beer mats to cover the glasses was not fulfilled. So for me it's a dent from the 5th star. But the conclusion is 95% positive. The freshness of the ingredients and the portions also justify the supposedly higher price.

We can only recommend Fränkis Hütte and have already sent work colleagues and friends there. Super delicious food and very nice dog-friendly staff. After an extensive hiking tour through the beautiful Arnsberg Forest, just the thing. Rustic hut atmosphere and great beer garden. We think the price-performance ratio is completely OK.

I was there for the first time almost 9 years ago. Quite by chance, I had dinner there with my (now) wife for our first date. And even back then we really liked it. And even today, after 9 years, it still tastes like it did on the first day. Simply fantastic, just like the ambience, which always changes a little but still retains its same charm. You can tell that people work and cook here with heart and soul. In the end I can only say to anyone who wants to try it, do it and you won't regret it!

There you are greeted by unfriendly staff who tell you that in this sunny weather there are only tables inside. Stay away from this restaurant. If you want to eat inside in sunshine and almost 30° C, then you've come to the right place. And if you look at the variety of dishes on the menu, you already know in advance what it tastes like. 😉😄 As you can read below, constructive criticism is treated poorly by the “unfriendly” ones. 😉 Yes, it's true that I haven't made a reservation, but when two thirds of what feels like 20 tables outside are already reserved at lunchtime, then I wonder where all the guests are?! Everyone arrives around the same time around 3 p.m., or how's everything going?! 😅 Then answering sloppily when you ask for a table outside tops it all. I have never experienced such a reception in a restaurant with such an extensive menu. This is pure experience gastronomy, just as you want it to be. If the microwave works well, you can really get started. 😉😅 Apparently things aren't bad enough in the catering industry. But that reflects the comment under the review. ^^ Oh yes, and if you think this is all made up, you should read the review by “Pia Klaas”, which was given here with one star a year ago. It basically confirms this one. 😉

We are from the Cologne/Düsseldorf area and were recently on vacation at Möhnesee. We then stopped by your place and I really have to say that I have rarely experienced such a great restaurant with such a great ambience. There is something to look at everywhere, with so much love down to the smallest detail that you almost forget to eat. Everything was perfect and the service ladies were quick, on their toes and always looked after everything and always asked if we had any further wishes. The food was very tasty and the portions were huge. We will definitely take a trip to Fränki's hut at Möhnesee more often ❤️😋

First time there today. Great burger eaten on site. Patty could have been a little bigger compared to the bun. Taste and freshness great. The schnitzel with chanterelles and fried potatoes, which we took with us for later, was also great. Gladly again.

Excursion destination by motorbike when the weather is nice. Food is great, service is friendly and accommodating.. But you should always make a reservation.
