We only had bad experiences. A very unfriendly welcome and disparaging attitude towards dogs! We left this shop as quickly as possible. We felt unwelcome!

I wanted to eat the chicken-stuffed potato. It was almost cold, not even lukewarm. They didn't have a new one, for whatever reason. I ended up with a currywurst and fries and got the difference back. The fries were good, and the currywurst was just warm enough to eat right away. Overall, the organization was pretty poor. The seating is nice, but that's about it...

The ambiance at Mahlanderz is truly beautiful—modern, cozy, and designed with great attention to detail. The service was attentive and very friendly, which I highly commend. I would especially like to highlight Buğra's freshly prepared cocktail—absolutely top-notch and a real highlight of the evening. 🍸✨ My shrimp were perfectly prepared and incredibly delicious! The salads and mezze also impressed me: fresh, colorful, and delicious. 🌿🥗 The only minor drawback: the Adana was a bit dry for my taste; otherwise, it would have been a solid 5/5.

Phenomenal location 👍 Prices are far too high for what's on offer (perhaps you're still thinking about Norderney?) Service and friendliness are beneath contempt. You don't feel like a guest. We've been there several times, and unfortunately, the impression is always pretty much the same. Service, friendliness, and value for money are nowhere near comparable to the previous operator.

Great views, pleasantly authentic cuisine, and very attentive service. Last but not least, the proximity to the dam means there are plenty of parking spaces! The chocolate cake says: We'll be back!

We had a very good veggie bowl. Very attentive service. However, we had to wait quite a while for our bowl. It must have been left behind. As compensation, we got super fries on the house. Thank you. We'd love to come back and highly recommend you.

A very chic restaurant in a great location. Unfortunately, the meal was split: my wife's chicken skewer was very good, while my salmon pasta was mediocre. The salmon was hard and dry—hardly edible. A shame, because everything else was perfect.

We had a great meal here, and the homemade lemonade was delicious. The place is beautifully decorated, and we felt very comfortable. We'll definitely be back. And to everyone who wrote in their review [it took a long time for the food to arrive...it took a long time for us to be assigned a table...it took forever to pay] YOU ALL HAVE NO TIME WHEN YOU GO OUT TO EAT! I can't comment on the food! I had a delicious iced coffee and a portion of flatbread (a large portion, way too much for one person). The service was very friendly. It was just before 12:00 PM, and not very busy yet. I got a table without a reservation. The music was blaring in the background, a holiday atmosphere. The view = wonderful!!! The restroom in the basement was very, very dark.

Nice location at first glance. But it reeks of a kebab shop, three people at the beach bar can't seem to get their act together, Salitos Bar has a limited selection and card payments only start at €10. A clear "customer, please go away." Just drive a bit further to Geronimo or Uferlos.

We are absolutely thrilled with the restaurant and will definitely be back! The food was delicious and authentic, and the waiters were super friendly and attentive despite a few language barriers. It couldn't be better!!! Many restaurants could learn a thing or two from this! By the way, the beach bar had a DJ with good music, lights, and pyrotechnics.

Very attentive staff and incredibly delicious food and drinks! We had the oriental grill platter and the day before, the meze for two... a delight 😋 The beach bar makes you want to party with a great atmosphere. We'd love to come back! P.S. The best baklava I've ever eaten. And the Turkish mocha is highly recommended!

A wonderful experience for anyone craving authentic Mediterranean/Turkish cuisine, you should definitely spend an evening at MahlAnderZ. Great hosts, a very friendly team, and delicious food. Thank you for the culinary journey, which was rounded off with a cocktail (prepared right at your table).

We haven't eaten this badly in a long time. We ordered an Olympia platter for three people for €105. The single portion of fries for everyone was equivalent to a child's portion and was almost cold. The one salad was a child's plate with greens, completely submerged in a brown broth, dressing!?!?. Otherwise, a platter of overcooked meat, one of which was so spicy none of us could eat it. About the service: If you don't pat the table light, nothing happens at the table. The person might have to say five words in the entire store... No greeting, no "what can I get you?"... Only when paying: card or cash... The fact that you also have to pay for parking just topped it all off...

The 3 stars result from the 5-star ambiance. Service was actually rather subpar from the start. The welcome was reason enough to leave (very unfriendly/annoyed... It was only 12:15!!!). Then we took our order – the waiter's thoughts "can't this be quicker?" We first ordered two mochas (they were good). After we had chosen, the place gradually filled up to about 30 guests. Placing our order was tricky – but eventually, it worked. I ordered the Adana plate – completely disappointed (if I had read the previous review / now too late). The seasoned minced meat was okay to quite good – the fries were rather meager – the salad was meager/the dressing was very sour – the bread came from the cheapest supermarket package – extremely overpriced / not worth €15. We counted on the bottle of water and two glasses until the end of the meal (after two reminders). The waiter had delved too deeply into the deodorant/aftershave section. Guests of the same background were given priority, didn't have to wait for anything, and were repeatedly asked questions... Unfortunately, we won't see this wonderful atmosphere again without a change of management!

The view is very beautiful. The service is excellent, and the Turkish mocha was a real eye-catcher. The lamb skewer was deliciously marinated, though the meat was a bit stringy.

Unfortunately, the advertising for the outdoor area/beach area doesn't reflect reality at all. It says: ALWAYS open during the summer holidays, kiosk with drinks and food, music...but: once again we found ourselves standing in front of a closed outdoor area despite great weather, unable to get any drinks, the playground is unkempt, as are the pedal boats. The paint was peeling and our skin and clothes were stained. There was trash in the boats and, to top it all off, the prices are exorbitant and we were asked to pay more at the checkout than we were told beforehand. The service/staff were very unfriendly and completely unable to accept criticism. We've given MahlAnderZ many chances, but that's enough: we won't be back! There are plenty of good restaurants and great places along the Möhne. Unfortunately, MahlAnderZ doesn't deserve this great location and isn't making the most of it. What a shame!

Unfortunately, we didn't stay long enough to order anything: Although we had a great spot on the terrace with a view, the 'music' from the speakers hanging everywhere was much too loud, and all the guests there felt this way. When I asked them to turn the music down a bit, I was told that it wasn't possible! As a result, we left the restaurant!

The food is exclusive and highly recommended, extremely good wine list

Great location and beautifully decorated, but all the dishes at our table were a complete disaster. - Pasta was completely overcooked and mushy - Fries were cold in the next dish - The ci kofte tasted great, but the salad roll was completely shredded and torn. All the staff present had trouble understanding each other. There was only one waiter who spoke broken German. The rest couldn't understand anything... sad, considering the German course is offered three times a week, as stated on the menu.

We found the food mediocre and overpriced: Adana kebab €21, a relatively small portion of fettuccine with four prawns €21-€22(?). You're paying for the ambiance and the location, which is totally fine!

Instead of stone-baked bread, we had toast with the meal. Service was poor. You weren't even noticed.

We ate at MalAnderz on Lake Möhne today. The ambiance there is very nice, and we're familiar with it from previous owners. However, I wasn't satisfied. I ordered kasap kofte. The portion was too expensive in my opinion at €22.90, as it wasn't large. What really annoyed me, however, was the unfriendly service and the hectic atmosphere. And I didn't like the fact that Turkish guests were apparently served better and given preferential treatment than the rest of us. We won't be going there again.

A visually very inviting and perfectly located restaurant in the heart of Lake Möhne. The food was exceptionally perfect! But the friendly service, including expert advice on the dishes, was the highlight. You can tell that the food here is a real treat. My family and I felt truly at home, thank you for that! The price and quality are also right. We'll definitely be back 😃

Our visit to Mahl Anderz was quite nice, with a few minor criticisms. The location right on the water, with a view of the dam, is unbeatable. The ambiance and service are impeccable. Very friendly and attentive! The prices are sometimes excessive. Now for the food: I had the Adana plate, and the skewer was really tasty and slightly spicy, just like I've come to expect from Turkish restaurants. Top-notch👍🏼 However, the fries weren't crispy at all and didn't come from a fries maker, but from an air fryer or something. The salad was also a bit lackluster, with a bit of an oil and vinegar dressing. The packaged wheat wrap was a bit annoying! Although the menu offered homemade bread as an option for €4, I had the ready-made stuff. But that's not what I'm used to from Turkish restaurants!!! The kofte bowl was almost flawlessly delicious. The red cabbage had a bit of a vinegary flavor, but that's just the taste. The kofte meatballs are especially delicious👌🏼

Great ambiance and a fantastic view of the Möhne River and the dam. Despite repeated requests, the drinks we ordered only arrived halfway through the main course – the waiter told us they were having problems. The same was true of the food: the beetroot appetizer reminded us of foil-wrapped beetroot from the supermarket – both in terms of consistency and flavor. The flatbread we ordered was also cold and didn't seem freshly baked. Our main courses were scampi pasta with garlic cream sauce (very tasty!), lamb skewers (too dry and barely recognizable as lamb), and a pizza with ribs (the dough was great, but the rest was unfortunately tasteless). The waiter responded professionally to our reasonable objection and offered us other main courses. We then ordered two of the scampi pasta we'd tried previously. These arrived, but the cream sauce suddenly lacked any seasoning – the scampi were also translucent and barely overcooked. Too bad, for us this was the first, but probably last visit.

A visit with a view of the lake and delicious food.

We managed to get a table for nine people at very short notice. We received a very friendly welcome. The menu was very extensive, the food delicious, and the service was excellent. I can definitely recommend MahlAnerZ.

Great location right next to the Möhnetal Dam on the "Westphalian Sea." Unobtrusive but very friendly service, delicious spritzers and light beers, fresh salads, fluffy pizzas, and great kofte with fries. Clean, especially the restrooms. Highly recommended!

Senior citizen portions, or what?! We were annoyed by the very small portions and the high price. For over €20 a person, none of us were really full. Luckily, the kiosk by the dam still serves fries and currywurst...by the way, we're not greedy :)

Very nice outdoor area with a view of the reservoir. Mezze platter was okay, but for the price (€30), it could have been better. Why the flatbread has to be paid extra (€8) is a mystery to me.

Few vegetarian options (just appetizers). A small piece of flatbread for €4, advertised as homemade, tastes like the 80-cent version from a discount store (cold, dry, and flavorless). The music was very loud, making it difficult to hold a conversation. The service didn't want to/wasn't allowed to turn it down. Overall, not great service. The location and ambiance were otherwise good.

Good location, tasty food, great view, polite staff, but the fact that you have to pay for parking as a customer is unfortunately not okay.

Absolutely Disappointing Handling of Complaint On June 19, 2025, we were at Mahl Anderz to celebrate a special day – a birthday and a marriage proposal. After a pedal boat ride in one of the boats, we noticed that my white shirt was heavily stained by the red seat. I immediately reported the incident to an on-site employee. I was told to first try washing the shirt and, if it didn't come out, to contact Ms. Gabriel. Since the damage couldn't be completely repaired, I contacted Ms. Gabriel by phone as discussed, who promised to send me an email with the next steps. This email never arrived. Since then: several emails and calls, not a single response. Each time, they simply said they would inform Ms. Gabriel. A promised solution never materialized. The food was okay – but anyone who treats guests like that when something goes wrong shows how little value is placed on service and responsibility. Very disappointing. I hope management rethinks its understanding of customer focus. I enjoyed going there for years – but this time it was my last.

We went there after our wedding just to have dinner with family. After many phone calls and pre-arranged meals, we arrived and no one knew we were coming. The appetizer platters were no longer available because everything had been sold the previous evening. (Even though we had agreed to this beforehand.) After we were told it was all our fault, and that the owner was sick, and so on, a table was finally made ready for us. If they had simply approached us and said, "We're sorry, we forgot, but we'll get it ready right away," everything would have been fine. However, they consistently blamed us, and we had to argue. Negative reviews without text will be deleted by the store.

The last time we were there, it was quite crowded. The portions were smaller than they were three months ago, and we were charged €4 for a quick, warmed-up piece of bread that wasn't even fresh. I had even asked if they could add bread to the kids' menu. They charged €5 for a small fries, which I find quite steep. Unfortunately, our second visit to this restaurant was disappointing.

Caution – New Owners, Not a German Restaurant The restaurant at Lake Möhnesee has new owners. A lot has changed since then – unfortunately, not for the better. The menus are almost exclusively in Turkish, and German is only available as a rough translation. Rather unusual in Germany. Communication with the staff was extremely difficult. The first waiter spoke German so poorly that we could barely understand her. A second waiter was called, but even with him it was difficult to communicate. We had to wait 25 minutes for our drinks. The homemade lemonades were a disappointment – ​​tasted like cheap syrup, worse than discount store fare. The food was, unfortunately, equally disappointing: The chicken had apparently simply been boiled in water with the pasta, with absolutely no roasted flavor. On top was dried-out, unwashed lettuce – some of it still with soil on it. The only bright spot: The ambiance and the view are still beautiful – inherited from the previous owner. Conclusion: We definitely won't be back. This was not a pleasant visit.

The atmosphere is good. Prices are too high for what you get. You won't get full. The staff are friendly, but the management is unfriendly.

Unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend it. The service was awful and a complete mess. Drinks only arrived upon request, while the food had already been on the table for a long time. We had to get the salt we requested ourselves to add to the fries, which had apparently been left completely empty. The portions were far too small and disproportionately expensive. The waiters were also not particularly friendly, rather annoyed, and completely overwhelmed, despite the few occupied tables.

Great atmosphere. The food was tasty, but lukewarm, and the grilled vegetables consisted of a small potato and a quarter of a tomato. The service wasn't great. No please or thank you, no welcome or goodbye. This urgently needs to be addressed.

We went outside to the beach bar. It's self-service. The atmosphere is really great. We sat with the kids at the back by the fenced-in playground and were allowed to take our own SUP to the jetty, where they rent pedal boats, for example. The service when ordering was friendly. Good value for money for the place. The fries and schnitzel were delicious. We'll definitely be back 😊

Expensive and nothing special to offer—everything was rather average. There was a long wait for both the order and the food itself. The fact that restaurant guests have to pay to park is disappointing. After just 90 seconds without a parking ticket, I got a ticket on my car. I won't be visiting this place again.

Ever since the Turks took over, it's been terrible there. The waiters don't speak German. We ordered steak and received soup an hour later. We complained, and they didn't even speak our language. We had to pay full price even though we didn't eat any food. Outrageous! Never again!

Our review has been deleted twice now, citing alleged defamation. However, we simply described our honest experience, without insults or untruths. Apparently, critical voices are not welcome here. Since this review probably won't remain visible for long, we'll spare you a long text this time. Summary: The service was disappointing; the cake advertised on the menu from the local bakery was unavailable, as was the mocha. We're giving it two stars solely for the beautiful view of Lake Möhne and the attractive decor. We definitely won't be coming back. If critical reviews weren't regularly removed, the overall rating for this restaurant would certainly be different. We'll wait and see how long it takes for the review to be deleted this time.

Everyone is super friendly and helpful, and every request is fulfilled immediately. The entire staff is so kind and accommodating; I've never experienced anything like it anywhere else. The view of the lake is breathtaking. It's worth every second and every cent. 10/10!

Mahl Anderz sees itself as a modern Turkish restaurant with a focus on design and experience. The terrace on Lake Möhne is undoubtedly a highlight, even if the view from above is partially obscured by parasols. The digital ordering system works smoothly but feels distant. The service was correct, but not very cordial – this is particularly noticeable with Turkish cuisine. The Adana kebab tasted good and beautifully presented, but for €21, the portions were too simple and too small. Perhaps it's also due to my lack of experience with Turkish cuisine, but overall, the concept seemed overambitious rather than convincing. Dogs are allowed on the terrace. Access is through the restaurant; whether this is always the case remains unclear. This is, of course, only my personal experience and assessment. Other guests may see things quite differently.

We ate there on Saturday. The starter (soup) was served with the main course. The salad with the main course was very small, and the fries were a bit soggy for our taste. The meat was okay, but not particularly seasoned. Overall, we didn't think the price/performance ratio was appropriate. We were disappointed with the menu.

The ambiance was very nice, but I have to agree with a review that was posted before mine. Unfortunately, I read it too late. The iced coffee was really bad. It consisted of a pile of whipped cream in a lukewarm coffee and a mini scoop of vanilla ice cream. I left it, but when I paid, they didn't ask why.

Ten of us came here for dinner. Unfortunately, we couldn't get a seat because the staff wasn't willing to put several tables together on the terrace for us, even though all the tables in the row were still free. It was particularly disappointing that most of the staff had little or no understanding of German and didn't speak any German at all. Furthermore, some of the employees unfortunately come across as very arrogant and condescending. After lengthy discussions, we finally decided to leave. In my opinion, a restaurant with such an attitude toward guests has no future.

The service wasn't very motivated. The menu wasn't even brought. The drinks only came after the meal and upon request... But the food was okay. There's no cake. Dogs aren't allowed in the restaurant, but they are allowed on the outdoor terrace.

We were more than disappointed. All four dishes were overpriced and poor. The salad was incomplete, the bowl came without dressing, the steak was overcooked, the side dishes were too small, the fries were cold, and the service was neither attentive nor friendly. The price/performance ratio was outrageous. The absolute plus point was the ambiance outside on the terrace with its view of the lake and the beautiful landscape. It's a shame the quality didn't quite match it.

For the price, I would have had better food at a rest stop.

We waited in the entrance area for 6-8 minutes and were the only ones in the value area. We had a starter with 6 different dips which was extremely expensive (30€) and wasn't listed on the menu, the grill plate was priced OK. For the main course we had a mixed grill platter which was I.O. was. The negative thing was that there was no kebab meat on the grill plate and unfortunately the food was cold when we were served it. All in all, I would only recommend it once.

Very nice restaurant right on Möhnesee, with a great view of the lake. The concept of Turkish and oriental dishes was also good. But unfortunately the first experience in the restaurant was not so good. There were three of us and we ordered 2 starters and 3 main courses. We were informed in advance that it was taking some time in the kitchen and that various grilled dishes took time and that there was currently a bit of a backlog. It was great, so we knew straight away what was going quickly and what wasn't. Ordering the drinks went quickly and we got those drinks quickly. However, before we got the starter, the waiter came with the main courses. 2 chicken skewers and 1 Adana skewer. After pointing out that we hadn't had the starter yet, the waiters looked at each other questioningly and wanted to take the food away. But then we agreed to eat the main courses straight away and have the starters as side dishes. The first negative fact was that 2 main courses were served with a reasonable portion of fries and 1 main course was served with a whopping 10 (counting) fries. But we were immediately offered to have fries delivered. (Then it's better to go straight away) It should also be mentioned that the dishes were advertised as having steakhouse fries, but "normal" fries were served. This is actually unacceptable because a certain composition of food results in a certain price. Things continued to go unevenly because the main courses were unfortunately completely cold. Not lukewarm, but really cool and cold. The fries were already dry and hard, and unfortunately the meat was also cold. Of course that doesn't work at all. So we unfortunately had to let the food go back, which was taken away without any problems. Then the starter came and bridged the time until the main courses came back, which was very tasty (bread and carrot yoghurt) When the main courses were delivered, this time the meat was actually hot and completely fine. A small salad and a portion of garlic yogurt were also included. The taste of the meat, salad and yoghurt was good and tasty. I didn't find any indication beforehand that the Adana skewer was spicy, but I would have needed it, including what kind of minced meat it was (the menu only said minced meat). The skewer was really challengingly spicy, even though I like spicy foods. I would have liked a note on the menu or from the waiter. If someone had eaten it who didn't like it so spicy, it wouldn't have been edible and it would have gone back, for me it was borderline. Unfortunately the fries didn't taste good. Dry and unsalted, they had the impression of not being fresh. Overall for the price of 21.90, this meal and service was actually nowhere near the value. Coupled with the overwhelmed waiters, it wasn't a great experience, except for the great ambience and the realization that it could be good. The inside area was almost empty, there was still space outside and I still wondered how things would work if they were actually fully booked, when the level of overwhelm was already so obvious. It is unlikely that we will come back again. The concept and food have potential, but the implementation is not at the moment.

Dear team We were your guests today and unfortunately we have to express our great disappointment. After waiting for over half an hour - without our order coming or without any clear information - we were forced to leave the restaurant hungry. This level of disorganization and lack of communication is absolutely unacceptable in a catering establishment. There was no apology, no attempt to accommodate us or explain the situation. We were looking forward to a pleasant visit, but instead we lost valuable time and left very dissatisfied. We hope that you take this feedback seriously - just as we unfortunately felt that your interactions with guests were not taken seriously.

You are ignored and despite repeated requests the order was not taken. Staff completely overwhelmed.

It's a shame for the rest, I would like to go there again, BUT!! The service, apart from the fact that they were really friendly, the food took way too long! 1 hour?? We don't even wait that long when we go out for steak. Every drink ordered didn't arrive in less than 5 minutes, salt 10 minutes!?!. In the end we wanted to pay and had to wait another 15 minutes until we finally went to the front ourselves. It's a shame!!! Prices were okay, you can't complain. But the waiting time was a total disaster.

What happened here? The otherwise always friendly and professional staff gives way to unfriendly waitresses who don't even look at you when you talk and shine with a dark expression and a harsh tone. The plates were simply cleared away without a word, just as the last bite was in the mouth. AND dogs are no longer allowed!!! We live here and regularly visit the local restaurants, but only with our dog. It's not a problem here in any other location. And the dog wasn't wet or dirty etc. The food is good, but not special.

Hello, So we came to this really nice and beautifully located restaurant with high expectations. Since I was really hungry, I took what the waiter said was the largest dish. A grill plate for €38.50. The portion was tiny.. The meat was dry.. The staff, on the other hand, was really nice and our orders were delivered quickly and friendly. However, we won't be coming back because we can get more food of better quality for less money in other restaurants.

Everything was great, a fantastic day on May 1st. (Holiday). But when we got to our motorbike, we found a ticket... Oh shit. In recent years there has always been a dear old man standing there and collecting €5. It wasn't there today and we didn't think anything else. Now there is a parking ticket machine there (not seen - of course not). End of song, 20€ cheek!!!

Food carelessly draped on the plate, moderately tasty. Portion quite clear for the money. Salmon lay pale on the noodles. 2! Small broccoli florets with hard stems lay to the left and right. Cutlery was only thrown onto the table in its container after the food had already been served. We then shared a napkin for two eaters because the waitress then disappeared again. The place is actually very attractively furnished, but the background noise is subterranean. Children also ran screaming through the restaurant - the parents didn't care - like they were on the playground. Service was more than unfriendly, you felt like an annoying supplicant. No smile, no kind word, harsh speech. Questions were answered in a mumbled tone, even as we walked away. It took quite some time before anyone even came. I was just annoyed because of the bad behavior. Never ever. 0 points

Today we went to dinner. After 10 minutes we got the place. There was no salt and pepper on the table. We had to ask the waiter to bring salt and pepper three times. Until it came. The soup had now become cold. There was only a fork on the cutlery. We had to wait 20 minutes for the second one. We had to wait 30 minutes for the food bill to be printed out. And all without thanks or requests. We had to explain the drink “Alsterwasser” 5 times until the Kalner understood it. Very bad service.

A very nice restaurant with a fantastic location and view. A must if you are at Möhnesee.

We were not satisfied with the service. But here is a completely different point of criticism: The operator has reviews deleted and justifies it with “defamation”. Our original 2-star review with a long text and reasons has already been deleted. I'll save myself the long text because this review will probably also be deleted. It is very noticeable that there are very few bad ones in the older reviews, but there are very many in the new ones.

Great atmosphere... I had a chicken skewer with fries, garlic sauce and salad. Mega disappointing. The meat was lukewarm, the fries felt counted out and the garlic sauce - well. The price-performance ratio is not right at all. Too bad. Was there for the first time after the change and certainly the last time.

We ordered a Turkish pizza (A'la Turka Pizza) "from the stone oven", according to the menu, early on a Tuesday evening. This turned out to be a convenience pizza, possibly pre-baked in a stone oven somewhere. It also couldn't have come straight from the stone oven because it wasn't hot, but, well... warm. The second dish was a lamb skewer, “pasture-raised to the charcoal grill,” according to the menu. Lamb cubes were served without a skewer - dry, cold cubes of meat, possibly from the leg of lamb, but never from the grill. Plus cold fries + a salad. After a complaint, the same, even drier cubes of meat and now very crispy, brown fries came back warmed up. The request for salt and pepper was not followed up on and was simply forgotten. There was also no inquiry as to whether it was tasty. It actually wasn't a taste explosion. We left EUR 50.00 there with two drinks. This has already happened to us in a similar way in 2024. We'll leave that in the future now. The location is great. Going for a simple drink and looking at the Möhne in the sun will work.

The terrace was full, also because of the beautiful weather. But we could eat in the restaurant. Unfortunately it was a bit dark. There is a service cube at the table that you can use to call the staff. Nevertheless, according to the waiter, we waited 9 minutes. The food we ordered came in a reasonable time. A short time later we were asked about our satisfaction and we commented that the temperature of the food was not quite good. The fries were very cold. But the meat was very well seasoned and the dip was delicious. Unfortunately our advice was not taken into account even though the fries were returned. The bill could be ordered via the service cube and it arrived very quickly. Nevertheless, I would eat there again because the sense of taste has had many new and good experiences.

My partner and I went on a date yesterday after a long time. We wanted to try out the new Turkish restaurant on the Möhne. Unfortunately, it turned into a disaster. We were greeted warmly and taken to the table and everything was explained to us (the service button). Then came the starter. Unfortunately the chicken soup didn't taste like anything. We asked for bread, which was then served to us raw. When we told a waiter about this, he brought us new bread, which unfortunately wasn't baked very well. I jokingly said to my partner that I was now looking forward to my chicken skewer (because of the raw bread). Unfortunately, it became the truth. My chicken was undercooked, some of the fries were raw and we have never had such tasteless fries. My partner's lamb skewer was also partially raw and the meat was not of good quality. For the price I can imagine something much better. Even so, I found the plate rather carelessly prepared. Unfortunately we complained again and had to wait a moment. Since we lost our appetite due to the many raw dishes on offer, we didn't want to eat anything else. I was then offered to have my plate taken off the bill. My partner didn't, he ate half the plate, maybe that was why. Unfortunately, we didn't feel like "kings" at all (the way a guest should feel). A brief apology was given; it seemed to me that this problem (serving food raw) came up more often. As I read on TripAdvisor, this is also true. The bill at the end was still very high. We also had to pay for the flatbread. I think this should have been mentioned before serving. Unfortunately we won't be coming again.

Staff: Incapable or unwilling Food (grill plate for four people) half raw and cold

We always enjoy coming here. We have always received friendly and quick service! The view of the. Möhne is magical!! The food and Turkish tea were very tasty 😋

Nice ambience but bad service. We were there on a weekday in the early afternoon, so despite the good weather there were only 5 tables occupied. Nevertheless, it took 15 minutes for someone to come and take our order. It took another 15 minutes for this to arrive (there were only 2 drinks). We also heard that the tables next to us were also complaining about the long waiting times and the orders that were sometimes even delivered incorrectly. In my opinion, without the great location right on the lake, the restaurant would have gone bankrupt long ago due to the really poor service

Ambiance top… the first impression was great. We sat on the terrace. The waiter brought the cards quickly and somewhat taciturnly. We ordered two iced coffees. These came quickly. The iced coffee was a glass like the big yellow-blue Swede “I….” only known in a plastic version. This iced coffee consisted of ice cubes as a coffee variant, a scoop of ice cream and lots of cream. When we paid we gave a tip. Unfortunately, there was no thank you and a lot of friendliness was spared. The seating area inside and outside is very nice. In summer you can definitely have a great time there in a kind of beach bar with a lounge, loungers and a small playground. The rest can certainly still be worked on...

I ordered a minced meat skewer. When it was served I noticed that it was only lukewarm. Just like the fries, which were a bit soggy. The taste was okay. Likewise the garlic sauce. For €21.50 I would have expected more.

We noticed the smell of used frying fat from outside. The dining room was completely empty. We didn't get very far either. We were rudely informed that starting today!! Dogs are no longer allowed in the guest room. The most we could do is sit outside. 15 degrees outside temperature......impossible especially at Möhnesee where so many people go for a walk with their dog and then want to stop somewhere afterwards. No dogs allowed??? We are now sitting in the gatehouse where our little dog is welcome. Incidentally, the menu at Mahl Anderz does not match the information on the Internet. Pride comes before a fall

Please note that as of today no dogs are allowed inside because the guests don't want them. It is allowed outside. The guests probably have no problem with that. No internet entry about it and no sign on the door. Parking fee already paid. At 15 degrees, no thanks.

We were there for the first time yesterday, we really liked it, super friendly staff and interesting Latvian Turkish dishes.
