Unfortunately our visit was very disappointing. Totally overpriced and terrible service!!!! I ordered a salad for €19, I got a manageable portion that could perhaps pass as a starter, not very tasty and completely overpriced. My husband's pizza wasn't much better either, definitely not homemade dough (convenience product), not well topped and way too expensive. You couldn't complain because the staff unfortunately doesn't speak German. At the neighboring table, the cocktails we ordered were returned three times and then guests left the restaurant in frustration. Only the view of the restaurant is really nice, you can forget the rest. We definitely won't visit the restaurant again. .

Great location right on the Möhne. Extraordinary ambience - the name says it all. Attentive staff with minor communication difficulties, but these could be resolved. Delicious food (salad, tagliatelle). However, the dishes were removed very quickly. Parking available for a fee directly at the restaurant. I'd love to come back!

What just happened here? I always really enjoyed coming here last year. Salad, burgers, appetizer platter have been awesome so far. Today the staff didn't understand any German and it was difficult to communicate. The salad compared to 2023 was absolutely carelessly prepared, drowned in sauce and overpriced. Fries unnecessarily greasy and pizza without much taste. The food served didn't look anything like the pictures on the homepage, the wrong side dishes were even served (baguette instead of ciabatta, fries instead of wedges). The ambience was great but today we were extremely disappointed. The current prices were also higher than on the downloadable PDF menu on the homepage.

Top address on Möhnesee Food was really good. The staff, I think all new residents, very attentive and quick. Your German doesn't have to be perfect if you do your job well. Gladly again

Delayed arrival of our food which was really annoying. The food wasn't the best, it tasted like tk (it was still okay but just tk). The service wasn't the best either. The only thing that was okay was the View.It was also unpleasant that the service didn't speak German.In summary, I can say that this store was a disappointment and there is no recommendation.

I've been to the store many times, now NO ONE can speak GERMAN anymore and you're spoken to in English. It can't be that German isn't spoken in a shop right on Lake Möhnesee. Lousy service. Middle class rest. Absolutely not recommended.

Had reserved for a birthday. No matter what was ordered (no burger meat available, no chicken available, no tuna available) it was not available. We then decided on the currywurst with onions and cucumbers and it was by far the worst currywurst of our lives. Bland sausage, a drop of sauce, half a slice of cucumber and a tiny bit of onion for €15 was really a disgrace. The service and ambience are really great, but the food wasn't a huge disappointment. Definitely won't be coming back.

I think the price of food is a bit too expensive. Unfortunately, the tomato soup was far too sour. Unfortunately there was no taste of the shepherd's cheese in the diza rolls. We sat pretty far back just before we go to the separate area. Unfortunately it's not very nice to see the empties station there. Maybe you can introduce something there. Been there today. Was little attended. Service staff speak little to no German, which I found very strange. Accordingly, no “hello”, “please”, “thank you”, “goodbye”. With further phrases like “Can I bring something else?” “Are you okay?” you couldn't do the math because of the language barrier. When the food came, the plates were simply placed in front of you without asking who had ordered which dish - of course in our case it was exactly wrong. But still the food and the ambience were great!

After a walk over the sperm wall, we wanted to have something to drink at Mahl Anderz. Unfortunately the staff was very inattentive and we had to wait a long time before we were even served (the terrace was not very full). In addition, the staff speaks poor German made communication difficult. The staff only spoke to each other in Turkish, which I found very rude as a guest. It's a shame, we celebrated our wedding there two years ago and it was much better.

Unfortunately the walnut pesto wasn't pesto but a bland cream sauce or something like that... the vegetables were very "crunchy" almost hard and cold on the inside. I doubt that the piece of "buffalo mozzarella" was really what it was supposed to be. It tasted like normal mozzarella and unfortunately didn't fit well into the dish due to the lack of pesto. The service was overwhelmed and it took a really long time to be served. Great location, great view, but unfortunately I can't recommend going out to eat. A pity!

Really different food or sip cocktails. Great view of the Möhnesee and the dam wall. The salad was great...the Dizza was tasty, but the dough wasn't our thing...we like it crispier. But that's no reason not to come back to try out more! It's also great to have the opportunity to rent a pedal boat on site or to chill out in the sandy area. Very nice location directly on Möhnesee. Pleasant atmosphere. However, the service was subpar, chaotic and completely overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the food wasn't good either and didn't correspond to what was on the menu. Great potential, which unfortunately falls by the wayside.

It's a shame, it really annoyed us. Salad meal other. Great in summer last year. This time completely different. Sorry, that's not worth 18.90. No aioli, no pumpkin seed breading, almost only lettuce, ready-made dressing. 1 slice of dry baguette. Schnitzel also leaves a lot to be desired.

A good restaurant with a nice view of Lake Möhnesee. The atmosphere is comfortably furnished. In the restaurant there is a well-equipped children's play area, which offers families with children a place to play for the little ones. We sat outside on the terrace. The outdoor area was closed due to the weather, but it made a good impression. There is also something on offer for children. The staff was very nice, friendly and accommodating. The drinks and food came very quickly. The food looked very good and was very tasty. The only thing I imagine is a bit problematic is the parking situation in front of the door during busy times. But you can also park in the parking lot next door to the dam wall and walk a few meters. All in all, we are more than positively surprised - clear recommendation.

I made a stop there today while taking a walk along the Möhnesee. Since I only drank one cola, I can't comment on the food, but I assume it's good. Prices are also very fair. In any case, the staff is very friendly, and it's very nice outside with the view directly onto the Möhnesee and the barrier wall. It's worth taking a look there.

Unfortunately that was nothing. The last time I was there was a year ago and I raved about my visit to my friends. So we decided to eat at MahlAnderz. Unfortunately the service was totally subpar. The staff would have great difficulty communicating with us in German. English went a little better. As a result, two out of three meals were delivered incorrectly, the complaint was not understood, so we had to call someone else. The flaw was then corrected. The mayo that was subsequently ordered was not delivered. The food (pizza and schnitzel) was okay, but not appropriate for the price. At some point the service came to clear away the empty glasses/plates, but no one asked if we would like to order anything else. This meant that we changed venues relatively quickly. It's a shame because the location is really a dream.

You have to wait for your food. Bit stupid. Unfortunately there is no changing table here either.

How bad things have just become! Beach bar crowd like at Frankfurt main station... and can someone explain to me why an iced coffee is hotter than the latte macchiato (which is only available in a paper cup throughout Frankfurt HBF).

A restaurant that offers everything you could want from pizza to salad and burgers. Now to eat the pizza itself, in this case the spinach pizza is really awesome and to this day tops all the pizzas I have ever eaten. The tomato soup is also really great, your cook is really good at it and will probably fill the house here in the future. The dough for the pizza was perfect, crispy on the outside and airy and fluffy on the inside. The portions are so that even fatter people here can get their fill for good money. Your service does a good job, always and at any time. I recommend that you come here to eat more often from now on.

We wanted to order food at 12:40pm and were told there would be no food until 2pm. 15 minutes later the neighbor's table received food. The iced coffee had rotten milk. Nice atmosphere, nice service, but unfortunately no one really speaks German. I think this will be difficult, especially for older people.

The staff is helpful, friendly and attentive and the view of Lake Möhnesee is beautiful. There are also many beautiful outdoor areas with a small beach. But the food is snack level. A year ago, much more complete dishes. Now there is only industrially produced food. Simple kitchen for unprofessional cooks. Cheap patties in burgers and fried fish in very dark fried parnade. Salmon on vegetable pasta on the menu means: a tomato and a few rocket leaves with lots of simple wheat noodles and a frozen salmon at a price that is too high. For the view and a drink but for eating... not so much.

After a small faux pas (roast beef instead of medium unfortunately/salmon fillet unfortunately beyond doneness), the dishes were taken back by the service gentleman without any problems and with confidence and then received what we had imagined. A perfect family trip to Möhnesee 😍 Today we came from Hamm again to eat Anderz. We were keen to meet the new staff and try out the skills of the new chefs. When I visit HSK Arnsberg, I like to go to Möhnesee and visit this restaurant there. At the Möhnesee dam, I remember my parents' stories: the bombing of the dams in World War II. Excellent view of Lake Möhne!

Whether for a piece of cake or for dinner - we have always been thrilled! Something very special about this restaurant is the extremely courteous and friendly waiters. Without exception, you will always receive a very warm welcome and very professional advice and service - that is a big part of the charm of the restaurant! There are many vegetarian dishes, they are absolutely uniquely delicious. The no chicken burger is the best vegetarian burger I have ever eaten! If you want to enjoy fantastic food with a beautiful view of Lake Möhnesee and excellent service, you should definitely stop by MahlAnderz!

Sind zufälligerweise auf dieses tolle Restaurant gestoßen. Von außen gar nicht so leicht zu erkennen, wie toll das Restaurant ist. Die Einrichtung ist liebevoll und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Bedienung ist äußerst höflich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist hervorragend und es gibt reichliche Auswahl aus der Karte. Die Preis-Leistung stimmen. Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe des Möhnesee sind, ist es das Restaurant unserer Wahl. Vielen Dank für die angenehme Zeit.

Das Essen meiner Frau kam 5 Minuten später als meins... finde ich schon nicht gut... Geschmack okay... Bezahlung schwierig da niemand Zeit oder Lust hatte... so unser Eindruck...

Schicke Location. Wir hatten einen Tisch direkt am Fenster mit einem tollen Blick auf den See. Das Restaurant ist jetzt in der Adventszeit sehr geschmackvoll dekoriert. Im Hintergrund läuft ruhige Musik. Der Kamin strahlt eine wohlige Wärme aus. Einfach superschön dort . Das Essen ist von sehr guter Qualität. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam .

Lovely place, especially terrace with amazing view. Food was super tasty and service really friendly. I would be happy to come back. The only strange thing is that sometimes they don't let people in, event though the restaurant is half empty and it is nowhere near closing times. We were there twice and both times this happened, no idea why.

Der Hamburger war wirklich toll. Der Kartoffelsalat war jetzt nicht der Hit. Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Ambiente am möhnesee ist toll.

Ich kannte die Location noch als Café Solo und war positiv überrascht, wie wunderschön gemütlich das - für mich - neue Restaurant ist. Eben ‚ma(h)l anderz‘. 🫶🏽 Ich hatte mich für eine Dizza Margherita entschieden. Die Dinkelpizza schmeckt mir sogar besser als herkömmliche Pizzen. 🍕 Von der Auswahl her finde ich, dass für jeden Geldbeutel etwas dabei ist. Auch die Karaffe Wasser war preistechnisch absolut okay und nicht überteuert. Tipp vorab um Wartezeit zu sparen: Falls man an einem sonnigen Wochenendtag spontan vorbeikommen möchte, empfiehlt es sich vorab zu reservieren. Im Grunde findet sich immer ein Plätzchen, aber die Besucher die nach uns kamen, mussten etwas Wartezeit mit einplanen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!! ☀️

Ausgesprochen lecker mit wunderschönen Ambiente. Direkt am See. Das essen wird schnell gebracht und das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und kümmert sich um einen. Die Frage ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit ist hat leider gefehlt sonst hätte man mitteilen können, dass zu dem Schnitzel mit Pommes Ketchup fehlt. Man musste warten bis man erst einmal wahrgenommen wird. Aber wo man sich geäußert hat wurde sich sofort darum gekümmert. Abgesehen davon alles Top, sauber und gepflegt.

Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und haben uns sogar zwei Kopfbedeckungen geschenkt, wegen der starken Sonneneinstrahlung. Dankeschön wir kommen gerne wieder vorbei 👍😄

Eine Oase am Möhnesee und man kann dort einen wunderschönen Tag verbringen. Man hat dich sehr viel Mühe gegeben bei der Gestaltung der Außenbereiche. Sowohl bei der Beachbar mit den gemütlichen Loungebereichen als auch bei der Farbgestaltung der Ausgabetheken bis hin zu den farbenfrohen Tretbooten, die ebenfalls dort gemietet werden können. Das Haus ist nur 200m von der Anlegestelle der Fähre entfernt und verfügt über einen eigenen Parkplatz für Gäste. Das sollte man alleine schon der Fairness halber auch beherzigen. Das Speisenangebot habe ich nicht getestet, da wir lediglich mehrere Getränke verzehrt haben bis zum Sonnenuntergang. Die Bedienung war freundlich und die Preise sind OK. Der Blick ist wirklich wunderbar in den Abendstunden. Wir hatten einige Schorlen, Bierchen und einen Hugo. Die Schorlen von Rauch in der Flasche sind sehr gut. Das alkoholfreie Weizen war gut gekühlt. Die 0,5er Kirschschorle kam in einem 0,45er Glas - könnte bei einigen zu Ärger führern. Beim Hugo fehlte es an Minz blättern und das Eis hatte man komplett vergessen, seltsam. Die ältere Dame war aber so nett, dass wir es nicht so schlimm fanden. Die Speisekarte...Hmmm...das ist schon ein Brett. Die Idee mit der Dizza anstatt Pizza - nicht neue - aber OK. Bei der Preisen muss aber alles schon wirklich Weltklasse sein und das bezweifele ich. gut wird es sicher sein aber viele kommen mit der Ruhrtopcard zur Fähre und geben sicher keine 18 bis 20 EUR für einen Salat aus. Der Salat mit Hähnchenbrust für 1,- EUR weniger als mit Garnelen, da stimmt auch das Preisgefüge einfach nicht. Kinderkarte, OK, alles gut. Tagliatelle mit Tomatensauce 19 EUR, die muss ich mir mal ansehen. Die Dizza Margherita für 9 EUR und die Salami (mit Pereoniwurst) für 15 EUR auch hier ist der Sprung viel zu hoch. Die Dizza Türkei für 16 EUR? Habe bisher kaum teure SUCUK-Wurst oder Fetakäse gesehen, der das rechtfertigen würde. Ofenkartoffeln zu Hauptgerichtpreisen. Die Burger für 20 EUR müssen dann aber auch schon richtig geil und besonders sein. Ein Apfelstrudel für 10 EUR ist dann hoffentlich auch komplett selbstgemacht und nicht mit angerührter Fertigsauce oder aus dem Tetra Pak. Bei den Preisen müsste man tagsüber 30 % runtergehen, um die Leute in der Nähe abzuholen oder entsprechen günstige Tages- oder Wochengerichte im Angebot haben. Bei Google sind hoffentlich alle als Schnitzel deklarierte Fotos in Wirklichkeit der Fisch, denn sonst müsste man annehmen, dass auch die Schnitzel in der Friteuse gemacht werden, was bei dem preislichen Gesamtanspruch dann einfach auch nicht gehen würde. Warum schreibe ich das so ausfühlich? Ich finde Euch TOLL, glaube aber, dass man sich das Leben schwerer macht als nötig durch einige unnötige Kleinigkeiten und dem Preisgefüge. Ich berate viel Gastronomiebetriebe und Euer Objekt und Eure spezielle Umsetzung zeugt von viel Liebe zum Detail - sieht man sehr selten. Ich komme nochmals wieder und werde dann mal die Küche testen und revidiere dann ja vielleicht auch meine Einschätzung. Fall jemand bis hierhin gelesen hat: Lasst ein LIKE da, wenn es Euch geholfen hat. Geht hin, es lohnt sich so oder so...und sei es nur auf ein Getränk 😁

Wir möchten uns nochmal bedanken für den unvergesslichen Abend ♥️ Wir haben bei euch unseren Hochzeitstag verbracht und ihr habt spontan, einen wunderschönen Abend für uns angerichtet, den wir nie vergessen werden! So was schönes 😥♥️haben wir noch nie erlebt. Das komplette Team, sehr herzlich, aufmerksam, das man es kaum in Worte fassen kann. Die Familie Gabriel, führt das Restaurant mit Herz und Seele ♥️das spürt man beim gesamten Team. Das Essen ein Traum 🥰 Wir waren so überwältigt!!!!!
