A very nice restaurant with a great view. We immediately felt comfortable. The food was beautifully prepared and very tasty.

When I entered the restaurant, the first waiter came towards me and asked me what I wanted. It was as if he was trying to watch me, but I asked myself, from what? I answered him that I would like to go to the terrace. He replied, oh yes please. As soon as I passed him, he swore. I didn't know it was meant for me because I was wearing motorcycle clothes. I sat on the terrace and waited for the waiter. He walked past me once. He went past twice. ...... He passed me seven times. Other waiters came, but they all passed me by. Everyone was served except me. I was clearly wearing the wrong clothes. No Rolex, no Ferrari, no chic, no city celebrity, nothing. I'm just a biker. After 20 minutes I left the restaurant without saying a word. I can't say anything about the food, but I did report about the service. If someone thinks so little of other people, I no longer need to enter their restaurant. I can also spend my money in other places.

A great restaurant where everything is cooked fresh with a beautiful view of the lake. The service was pretty friendly and you really feel welcome.

I was able to spend a very nice evening there with my girlfriend thanks to the nice staff and nice atmosphere as well as the great food. I would love to go back again!

The loading has simply become worse and the service seems to suffer extremely. You can see how tired the staff are from afar, which doesn't surprise me when you see them still running around in the morning and late in the evening. The food is simply no longer good. The pizza might still be good on Monday, but you can throw it away on Thursday. If you set up another slot machine I might have luck more regularly. You will be threatened privately for bad reviews. Also nice. Apparently someone hired a lawyer to take down my review. But here. Should be back :)

Hello everyone, Yesterday we went to Mahl Anderz with 4 people and paid €115. Unfortunately, we all didn't get enough and were just annoyed. The taste was TOP but the number of dishes was really ridiculous, you just have to say. Unfortunately I can't recommend it!! I took a photo of a dish below. Adana kebab for 21€.

Today on October 19th, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. my wife and I spontaneously decided to go out to eat at Mahl Anderz. And what can I say other than: we are thrilled 👍🏻. As soon as we entered we were greeted politely and taken directly to a window seat (photo) with a view of the Möhnesee. After a short exploration of the food and drink menu, we made a decision quite quickly. My wife had marinated chicken breast with fresh spices, grilled vegetables, Turkish traditional tablaci salad €19.50. And I FETTUCHINI PASTA, MARINATED CHICKEN PIECES WITH CREAM MUSHROOM SAUCE, PARMESAN €19.50. Both dishes are really tasty and the meat is tender as butter and everything is discreetly seasoned so that you could enjoy everything. The food itself was at our table very quickly (less than 15 minutes, maybe even faster). My wife had a cocktail called CINDERELLA to drink Pineapple Juice, Orange Juice, Lemon, Grenadine Liquer, Grenadine Syrup and I a regular Coca-Cola. Of course we took pictures of the food and the cocktail, as well as the beautiful view we were able to enjoy while eating. Our conclusion: go there, sit down and just enjoy 👍🏻. We will definitely eat there again.

Had read a few not so good reviews, but wanted to see for ourselves. The atmosphere is really appealing and the service was friendly too. I had a chicken skewer and have to say that meat was tender, juicy and deliciously seasoned. The bulgur, salad and side dishes were also delicious. There was also nothing to complain about about the cocktail. My husband had linguini with chicken in mushroom cream sauce. He enjoyed it. All in all it was really good. We felt comfortable.

A good restaurant close to the water, the ambience is breathtaking, the service was very nice and the food was very good. Drinks are served chilled and can only be recommended.

We were more than thrilled last night. The food was fantastic, everything fried very well, had lamb. Flawless. The service was more than accommodating, very polite. Everything clean, modern, furnished and tidy. The games corner was very nice :) we will come back even if we have to drive 3 hours, we were so excited.

We still know the solo loft and the sabe mente. The beginning of the meal was also ok. But it's been a disaster since September. Even the menu is in Turkish, the conditions only speak Turkish or English... Fries, pizza completely out, everything too expensive.. No thanks. Luckily there are enough other choices on the Möhne.

Based on our own positive experiences so far, we chose the Anderz meal at Möhnesee. The 4 of us love international cuisine. So we were looking forward to this new offer. A table was reserved in advance with a view of the lake, top, arrival and parking lot. Greeting 5 out of 10, ordering and serving drinks 8 out of 10, ordering food 5 out of 10, a possibly inexperienced service person in a higher quality restaurant according to the menu, waiting time for the ordered food taking into account the number of guests present = appropriate 9 out of 10, food setting 5 out of 10, presentation of the food 5 out of 10, temperature 3 out of 10, requirement for additional or missing menu items 0 out of 10, service staff 0 out of 10. The restaurant operator is recommended to look around at comparable establishments and take learning content with him for his own restaurant and 1 to 1, otherwise a new operator will soon have to be found The name Mahl Anderz loses its reputation. That would be a great shame

Very poor service, overpriced and far from Turkish cuisine. Not recommended!

The basics of gastronomy still need to be learned! No small bread basket with dips, as is common in such restaurants today. The food is rather below average, served and "decorated" on a very clear board, sticky rice in a small bowl and at a hefty price. No thanks.

Anyone who is ever at Möhnesee should stop by here. The view of the lake is really great and there is really delicious food, especially with the new concept, the restaurant has a nice menu and I enjoyed the Turkish and oriental flair. If we're in the area again, we'll be happy to come back!

Chic, modern Turkish restaurant with a varied food and drink menu. The service was prompt and friendly. In summer you can enjoy the view of Lake Möhnesee from the terrace or the beach.

A great place to meet people dear and close to your heart. Cozy and elegant environment. Excellent service, despite the fact that the waiter had to be invited to the table, we still had time restrictions of 1 hour for lunch. The staff got on board, prepared everything very quickly and delivered the order at the promised time. The food is very tasty, varied, satisfying, the meat is well fried, juicy and soft, bravo! The only criticism is that the photo on the menu does not match the actual order, although it also tasted great. Please expand your selection of German beer, for example, unfiltered dark beer.

We were there on a Sunday. It may be different on other days. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is very cozy. Top address on Möhnesee Food was really good. The staff, I think all new residents, very attentive and quick. Your German doesn't have to be perfect if you do your job well. The food wasn't enough for us so we ordered desserts with tea. With the comment that tea was included anyway and was on the house, we were very confident. There was a good portion of dessert that was very tasty. In general the food was super tasty. When we wanted to pay and we had to wait a while for the bill, we were shocked that everything cost €250. That's far too much for that little bit of food.

Super nice atmosphere...the beach bar outside is also decorated with a lot of taste. Turkish dishes will be available from September. We enjoyed it very much.

**Very good Turkish restaurant right on the water.** We were really surprised that there was something so special in this area. If you enjoy the mezze and look at the water, you could almost think you are sitting on the Bosphorus. :-) An absolute recommendation!

Comfortably furnished. Personally the music was too loud. I found the food and the selection better when it wasn't called al turk. The Turkish pizza was ok but too expensive. Unfortunately the cake was only frozen, was thawed and was still slightly frozen inside.

Overpriced!!! The restaurant has been known as Soester for ages, and it changes owners again and again. I was really looking forward to the new concept, but the implementation isn't great. What I mean by an Adana Kebab is something different! Here you get a skewer, a very small piece of Arabic bread, a bit of rice and a bit of tomato salad, half grilled tomatoes and pointed peppers for €21, you won't be full at all. The food was ok but the prices are very outrageous from the starters to the desserts and beyond the drinks and that is still an understatement!!! You have to pay €4 for bread, which is free in every Turkish restaurant of the same format. It's a shame, I hope the management or the owners take action against this and create a reasonable price-performance ratio. There wasn't even a Çay on the house to say goodbye. The way you serve the Adana it's not worth more than €13!

Way too expensive. We were very excited about the new Turkish concept and were very disappointed. The card is really a joke, it would have been minimal effort to have the card proofread, that's really embarrassing. Not to mention the sensible structure and barrier-free reading, this could have easily been done very well with little effort. The food is absolutely recommended in terms of taste but not for the prices. The portion sizes don't match the prices. The interpretation of an Adana kebab is a disgrace. The fact that a portion of bread costs €4 extra is simply cheeky and unjustified. Not to mention the overpriced drinks. Charging €8.90 for a 0.2 liter glass of white wine is just audacious. The mini portion of back lava with a little bit of ice cream simply left us speechless for €11.90. The ambience is consistently nice and the decor of the restaurant is still very tasteful. We definitely won't be coming back and unfortunately we can't recommend it either.

Unfortunately the menu has been changed. Good food would be replaced by Arab/Turkish peasant dishes such as lentil soup etc. If you like this kind of food, you will definitely find it here.

We felt very comfortable! If you like Turkish food, this is the place for you. The meat and fish dishes are all grilled and not pan-fried with oil. The starters are a wonderful taste experience. The service leaves nothing to be desired. The ambience invites you to linger. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable! We will definitely eat there often ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There were 12 people there today. And we are all very disappointed!!!!! Way too overpriced for the amount of food. Simply a huge impudence. Then the service was really poor, or rather insufficient!!!!! We'll never come here again. I can't recommend it if you're planning on having a nice meal.

Ended up here on a boat tour. Salmon wasn't completely cooked through and schnitzel was extremely thin. Salad was good though. The waitress didn't speak German. Prices relatively expensive.

I don't want to describe the quality of the food as bad, but it's definitely not good. My wife and I each had salad, which is actually not a difficult dish, but delicious is different. The portions are small, but the price of €18.90 for a salad is not. That just doesn't fit together. The ambience is great, great views and great furnishings.

Schnitzel with mushroom sauce, salad and steakhouse fries. Schnitzel completely flat, dry, over-fried, sauce too watery with small tiny shreds of mushrooms, almost only lettuce, few greasy fries. For 19 euros I expect more! I can't comment on other dishes. The paid parking situation is also a bit annoying.

Unfortunately our visit was very disappointing. Totally overpriced and terrible service!!!! I ordered a salad for €19, I got a manageable portion that could perhaps pass as a starter, not very tasty and completely overpriced. My husband's pizza wasn't much better either, definitely not homemade dough (convenience product), not well topped and way too expensive. You couldn't complain because the staff unfortunately doesn't speak German. At the neighboring table, the cocktails we ordered were returned three times and then guests left the restaurant in frustration. Only the view of the restaurant is really nice, you can forget the rest. We definitely won't visit the restaurant again. .

What just happened here? I always really enjoyed coming here last year. Salad, burgers, appetizer platter have been awesome so far. Today the staff didn't understand any German and it was difficult to communicate. The salad compared to 2023 was absolutely carelessly prepared, drowned in sauce and overpriced. Fries unnecessarily greasy and pizza without much taste. The food served didn't look anything like the pictures on the homepage, the wrong side dishes were even served (baguette instead of ciabatta, fries instead of wedges). The ambience was great but today we were extremely disappointed. The current prices were also higher than on the downloadable PDF menu on the homepage.

We then decided on the currywurst with onions and cucumbers and it was by far the worst currywurst of our lives. Been there today. Was little attended. Service staff speak little to no German, which I found very strange. Accordingly, no “hello”, “please”, “thank you”, “goodbye”. After a walk over the sperm wall, we wanted to have something to drink at Mahl Anderz. Unfortunately the staff was very inattentive and we had to wait a long time before we were even served (the terrace was not very full). In addition, the staff speaks poor German made communication difficult. The staff only spoke to each other in Turkish, which I found very rude as a guest. It's a shame, we celebrated our wedding there two years ago and it was much better.
