The food was quite decent. However, the service was not at all brilliant. Four people got their food at the same time (but this was after a long wait; which would have been understandable if the place had been busy, but it wasn't). One person didn't get his food until everyone else had finished eating. Then they gave him a beer on the house, even though he doesn't drink alcohol (he hadn't ordered alcohol beforehand, either). It felt like an eternity before dessert arrived. We wanted to pay right away, but then had to wait another 10 minutes and no one came, and then had to ask two more servers. We spent over 1.5 hours there in total. The space between the tables was very limited. We won't be going back!!

What a wonderful start to the weekend for me and my wife yesterday, Friday. I don't write many reviews, usually only when I've experienced something special. Like here at Peter Pane in Düsseldorf's old town. The food was really good, the atmosphere was perfectly fine, but that doesn't mean I'm writing a review. So why am I writing one here? The SERVICE. Everyone across the board was not only friendly, but also always approachable without being noticeable. Requests and orders were therefore always processed incredibly quickly. Advice and recommendations were perfect. Everyone always had a smile on their face, and the short, funny moments of small talk simply rounded off the lunch. I would just like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU. We'll be back soon! Have a great weekend.

The food was good, but the waiters were completely overwhelmed and inattentive. Ordering online via Uber was also a disaster. The food didn't arrive after waiting for two hours. This happened twice. I had to cancel.

We went to Peter Pane in Düsseldorf today, and the food was really nice—it tasted delicious! We also had a very nice and wonderful waitress who made our visit a pleasant one. Unfortunately, there was one very big downside: In the outdoor area, where we and other guests were sitting, the staff regularly smoked during their break. At times, four people were standing there smoking at the same time, which seriously spoiled our experience. That's a real shame, because otherwise, it would have been an all-around pleasant visit. We hope the restaurant finds a solution in the future so that guests outside aren't bothered by smoke.

From Austria, a day of shopping in Düsseldorf, but the highlight was eating at Peter's. We made a reservation six months in advance, haha. It was excellent again. The hamburgers are masterpieces. Cool restaurant with delicious food. You can sit outside or inside. I didn't find it particularly comfortable, so maybe it's not the place for a long, hearty meal. Unfortunately, the food took a long time to arrive, but that could just have been bad luck and an exception. It was very tasty, though. The water, which was listed as 0.5 liters, had a lot of ice in it. I thought that was a bit of a shame. I think it's great that there are four sauces on the table that you can have at no extra charge.

A truly disappointing experience :-( My husband's burger was completely cold - it was first brought outside, and then it was "definitely" wrong, and then we saw how it was served cold. I didn't get mine until 10 minutes later. The patties don't resemble high-quality frozen patties. Nothing special... it also took some time until we could order. The service staff was OK, hence 2 stars.

We went to lunch with small children on Sunday. The veggie burgers were delicious, and we were all quite full. At the end, they even served some really delicious frozen yogurt on the house! That made up for the fact that none of the staff, who were otherwise really nice and helpful, pointed out the kids' menu... At first, the music was perfectly fine, but eventually it got so loud that we wanted to leave quickly... It's probably a way to encourage guests not to stay too long...

Disappointing experience – never again! I went to this burger place with high expectations after friends had told me about the supposedly "legendary" quality of the burgers. Unfortunately, I was bitterly disappointed – and not because of the food, but because of the disastrous service and the unbearably long wait. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I noticed that the staff was anything but attentive. We stood at the entrance for several minutes without anyone greeting us or showing us a table. The waiters walked past us several times, but pointedly looked away or were engrossed in conversation. Only after about ten minutes and a direct reminder from us were we shown to a table with an annoyed look and a wordless nod. We didn't get the menu for another five minutes, and that was only because I actively asked for it. Conclusion: This place may have good burgers, but the service is absolutely atrocious. Unfriendly, listless service and a wait that ruins any appetite. I definitely won't be coming back and can only advise everyone to find another restaurant where guests are still valued.
